Here is the next chapter in the story. If it seemed that Hermione was getting bashed in the last few chapters let me say she was unintentionally. Daphne is looking out for Harry as a client and as a friend as Sirius as a Godfather/father that knew of Harry's feelings before he did. This will hopefully get on with the main H/Hr pairing that I love reading. To all the new fallowers thank you and I always welcome constructive criticism. Also after watching the Cubs/ Cards London series I know better how MLB handles that so I was correct on having an off day before game one, but it was only to be a 2 game series so this chapter will fix that mistake.

Harry's POV

I wake up the next morning feeling a little fuzzy in my head, but then again it could be because of the amount of drinks I consumed last night trying to forget the conversation I had with Hermione or rather the way I handled the conversation. I was a bit harsh but she had to know that I wasn't going to be that boy that left six years ago I thought but then again how could she know you cut all ties with them only Sirius and Remus and their wives are the people you've kept in touch with another darker thought popped in my head and I knew it was right. Still the way I responded was incorrect and I had to find a way to fix it, and just as I was getting out of the shower my phone rang. Seeing it was Daph I answer it.

"Thank God, I got you before you left I had a hell of a night" she starts with and I sigh. "What did Dovey do now Daph" I say getting dressed knowing that she is the only one who could get my stoic manager this worked up over the most minute things. "No not D this time Harry, I was about to go to bed when my Floo roared to life and Sirius asked me for a favor. I told him I needed to run somethings by you first." Daph said and I was puzzled cause Sirius never called me about it but maybe that was his tactic.

"Well, I'm all ears on what the Dogfather decided to bother you with and not is own Godson." She sighs and goes "Ok H what would you feel if Granger traveled with us back to the States and was apart of the entourage until the end of August?" I hear her but I froze when she asked the question, I could feel myself falling onto the bed Hermione traveling with Daphne as we get ready for the trade deadline. Possibly watching me make history what do I do? I thought as I hear her say "It's your call H you are my client and if this effects on how you play ill tell her off after the game today. She and I talked though and I think it would be good for the both of you to clear the air. Like I said this is your life we are dealing with here so you get final say." I sit there and all I can think is if Daphne is correct that she should be there to clear the air so with that being said I sigh and say "no its ok Daph lets do this. We have a trial period after the Red Sox series if there is a problem, we call her trip short and pay for her ticket back. First class" I could tell daphne was grinning through the phone "Alright Harry. That seems fair now I'll let you go and let you get you head in the game. Remember you have BP in 90 minutes." And with that she hangs up. I chuckle and head to grab a bite to eat Well this is either going to be great and I get my best friend again or this goes disastrously and I can flaunt my wealth a bit on her plane trip back. Maybe the hat was right and Slytherin would have been great for me. I laugh at that that thought and pull my hotel door close.

*Time Skip to start of game*

Daphne POV

I step in to the suit and see that Granger Hermione I have to remind myself. I might not have liked on how yesterday went but I know that it was just anger from her part after not seeing him for six years. Like I told her that I would speak to Harry in the morning about her wanting to come with us for the summer. I also agree with Sirius that they both Harry and Hermione love each other they are just stubborn and scared to admit it to the other. I see that she is talking to the Lupins and sees that I walk in and waves at me. I wave aback and start to get settled in the box when the door burst open and I feel the wards kick in and recognize it as the human rubbish bin Ronald Weasley walk in with the rest of his family huh Ginny must have told him about yesterday. Well jokes on him if he thinks he's getting close to Harry after the game like Hermione did. "Hey Gin how's Quidditch going for you. Ready to sign on and make more money than you would know what to deal with?" Hey just because I'm Harry's agent doesn't mean I can't get the youngest Weasley to sign on. I would have the twins too if they wanted, but daddy says that their business is great and they love him as their manager and fiscal advisor.

"You really want to sign me?! I know im good but I thought I had to put some more time in" She asks and I smile "Yes I want to sign you. If I was in the Country when you went pro I would have jumped when you first turned pro. I knew you were special as a chaser my sixth year when you won the cup." She just smiles when we hear HIM scream "YOU FUCKIN SNAKE! NO WAY GINNY IS SINGING ANYTHING YOU DO! You probably just want all her money! I always knew-" His brother slaps his hand over that large yapper of his and just drags him off and I see the wand movement for a privacy charm. I just smile and turn to the still stunned Ginny and her parents. "If you agree Gin I can have the paperwork drawn up and either send them over or hand deliver it in a week or two." She grins and nods I look over the room again and see Hermione just waiting to talk so I told her to look out of it and walk over to her.

"Hermione. Its good to see you again and much more relaxed this time." I chuckle a bit and she does too "Yea I'm still nervous though what if he doesn't want me to come? What if he is so mad from yesterday I ruined having my friend back ? What if.." "Hermione relax. I talked to Harry this morning like I promised. My biggest concern is his ability to focus on the field during the season, and the baseball ecosystem is so ffragile one disruption could cause it to implode for a player." I say and I see her deflate a bit and she says "oh ok I understand." "no I don't think you do Hermione and that's ok. Dove didn't getit at first either, but withal that being said we talked and Harry suggested that you come out for his series against the Yankees and red Sox and we see how things go after that. With it beinga contract year and the trade deadline upcoming you could have picked a better time but he agreed so tomorrow ill have a car pick you up and ill meet you on the plane as we head to Tampa. Have your passport ready" and she squeals and hugs me hard and I hug her back she whispers thank you over and over and I have this feeling that things will go great. I see Dove watching the teams warm up and I go to her after I get out of that hug.

"You ok Dovey?" I ask and she nods "Just nervous for Harry you know? Hes chasing history and then you agree to talk to Harry about her and he doesn't need this right now D." She whirls around and I see a fire in her eyes and it clicks there it is shes jealous of Granger. "Dovey? She has been his best friend for seven years. I get that you are jealous of her but play nice ok?" Dove just scowls "She doesn't even know the game he has a second love for." I sigh this was always going to be the problem with Harry and Dove they are protective of each other. "Then help her learn this game for him. He needs a lot of support right now Dove. Like you said he's chasing history" In more ways than one

A little Cliffhanger-y there… sorry! Next chapter will have the game like the other chapter or would you rather have a quick summery. Like I always say constructive criticism is welcomed
