So I have been watching Teen Wolf lately, an absolutely must watch show.
I've watched it plenty times and I'm about to start season 5.
Now that I think about it, its weird because I'm working on a fiction based on season 5 that I am yet to re-watch.
Let me give context.
I love Kira. She's a beautiful quirky twist to the show. As a supernatural creature, I feel that there's a lot that could have gone into Kira's development as powerhouse kitsune beyond wielding the katana.
Also, side note, am I the only one who feels that they didn't do Kira justice in season 5 with the whole "fox" problem?
There's some plot holes that could have been explored.
Let's start with the obvious, Kira's mom Noshiko. She's a 900 year old fox and the best she could do was send Kira of to the skin-walkers? And Kira's dad with his whole history gig going on, are you telling me two people with all the knowledge at their finger tips and the only help is the skin walkers?
What about other shapeshifters? or to be specific, Japan-region shapeshifters?
I mean, Dr Deaton went all the way to poisoning a yakuza wolf to find answers to kill a nogitsune. There's more that could have been done.
I understand things happen like writing, change in career paths and all the things that happen in showbiz and production, but a part of me thinks that Kira's story could have gone a little better.
Rant aside, I am writing a fix-it sort of story of how things could have gone down in Teen Wolf for Kira.
I just wonder if there are others like me who are interested.
