Chapter 90 What Makes You Happy
Ichika's POV

The Next Day

Leo/need was in a meeting with Hiroshi.

"We need to discuss the future of Leo/need", he revealed. "If you wish to continue your activities as a band without Saki, then we have to discuss what to do moving forward. However, if you three no longer wish to continue with the band, we'll have to discuss what to do then."

None of us were able to answer Hiroshi's question. We were all unsure of what to do now.

"Hiroshi-San", Honami started. "Could you please give us some time to think about our decision?"

"Of course", Hiroshi replied. "Take all the time you need."

After our meeting with Hiroshi, we went to Sekai to discuss what happened with the Virtual Singers.

"The future of Leo/need", Kaito said.

"What are you girls going to do", Meiko asked.

"Before we discuss that", Honami started, before turning to look at me. "Ichika-Chan, is everything okay? Something seems to be bothering you."

"I've noticed it too", Shiho revealed. "Ichika, what's wrong?"

After being asked this…I sighed sadly before revealing what was going on.

"During Tsukasa's performance yesterday, he found new resolve to become a star", I revealed. "But…that means he's going back to New York to continue studying."

"Oh", Honami said sadly.

"He…", I started. "He asked me to go with him, but then he quickly took it back, because he thinks the three of us should stay together now more than ever."

After I said this, Honami looked down in thought for a moment.

Then, with a look of determination on her face, she suddenly grabbed onto my hands.

"Ichika-Chan, what do you want?"

"H…huh", I said in confusion.

"Ichika", Shiho started. "Do you want to go with Tsukasa-San to New York?"

When Shiho asked this, I looked at her in shock.

"Wh…what", I asked. "Go with Tsukasa to New York?!"

"Is that what you want, Ichika", Shiho asked.

"I…", I started, unable to get an answer out. "I…"

"Ichika-Chan", Honami started, as she held onto my hands tighter. "Please be honest with us."

"I…", I started, tears now forming in my eyes. "I…I want to be with Tsukasa!"

After I exclaimed this, both Honami and Shiho looked at each other, before small smiles came to their faces.

"Then go to New York", Shiho said.

"But what about us", I asked, tears now falling fully from my eyes. "What about Leo/need?!"

"I've been thinking about that", Shiho revealed. "And, if I'm being honest…I don't think Leo/need will feel the same without Saki."

"I feel the same", Honami revealed. "It…just doesn't feel right to be in Leo/need without Saki."

"What are you saying", I asked. "You both want to disband Leo/need?! But, what about…what about…"

"Ichika", Luka started as she walked up to us. "Are you worried that, if Leo/need disbands; and you go to New York, you and your friends will drift apart again?"

I couldn't get an answer out in words, so I nodded instead.

"That won't happen, Ichika-Chan", Honami reassured me. "The bond we all share is strong! No matter how far apart we are, it will never break!"

"But…", I started. "How can you be so sure?"

"I can't", Homami admitted. "But…what matters to me most is my friends' happiness. If being with Tsukasa is what makes you happy, then that's what I want for you: even if it means you have to leave us."

"Honami's right", Shiho agreed, before taking my one hand from her. "We want you to be happy, Ichika."

"Honami. Shiho."

After I said this…I started crying even more, so Honami and Shiho both wrapped their arms around me.

Then, they pulled away when Miku walked up to us: who then grabbed onto my hands.

"Ichika", she started. "Remember that this Sekai was created from the feelings you share with your friends. No matter what happens, those feelings will always remain, and this Sekai will always be waiting for you."

"Miku", I said softly.

Then, I wiped away my tears.

"Everyone", I started. "Thank you so much. I know what to do now."

Tsukasa's POV

I was lying on my living room couch, thinking about what happened between me and Ichika yesterday.

However, I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts when I heard the doorbell ring.

I went to the front door before opening it…and was met with a familiar face.

"Ichika?"

"Hello, Tsukasa."

"What are you…",

"I'm going to New York with you."

When Ichika said this, I looked at her in shock.

"Wh…what", I asked. "But, Ichika, your friends…"

"They're the ones who told me to go with you to New York", Ichika revealed.

"They did", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Ichika replied. "Because they want me to be happy, and…being with you makes me so happy, Tsukasa!"

After Ichika said this, a smile came to my face.

Then, I took Ichika's hands in my own.

"And being with you makes me happy, my love", I said. "But, are you really okay with going with me to New York? You won't end up regretting it later?"

"I'll never regret being with you, Tsukasa."

When Ichika said this…I knew what I had to do next, so I reached into my pocket…and took out something I had been holding onto for a while.

"Here", I said before passing it to Ichika.

She took it from me before taking a closer look at it. When she realized what it was…she looked at me in shock.

"Is this a Hatsune Miku…marriage certificate?"
