Yang sighed as she, and her daughter entered their dorm. Due to her being a mom, and the fact that dorms normally only housed four, she was allowed to live in a dorm separate from her team. Her thoughts swirled around the mysterious man who'd saved not just her life, but Nora's as well. who was he and how'd he know both of them?

"Yang, take Nora and the others. Get to the cliffs." His words to her echoed in her head. "Mom, you ok?" came the sound of her daughter's voice. Glancing towards Anya, yang gave a weak smile.

"Yeah, it's just the guy who saved me knew who I was." The blonde said. "that's concerning." A familiar voice said. glancing up mother and daughter were surprised to see the rest of team RWBY and surprisingly Nora. However, everyone was looking at Weiss.

"What?" she asked. "I'm just saying that its unsettling that he knows who Yang is." Ruby frowned. "Weiss, he could've overheard Tiberius' conversation with our dad. Probably figured out how to identify her and Anya"

Yang shook her head. "No, I have to agree with Weiss on this. He knew Nora's name as well." This fact caught them off guard. "He knew who I was? How?!" Nora asked. Yang shook her head. "I don't know. Anyways, Nora this weekend, can you take Anya and I to…" she began. "Sure." Nora said.

Anya yawned. "Tired sweetie?" Yang asked before the young dragon Faunus nodded. "Out! Out! Out! Out!" Ruby ranted shoving the other girls out of the room. Anya's mother she might not be, but ruby knew what would happen if a sleep deprived Dragon Faunus was irritated, and that was the last thing beacon needed considering that the school year just started. Yang and Anya chuckled at her sister's/aunt's antics.

Unaware to the group, the stranger was just outside on a tree branch watching the interaction. He smiled. "Ah, how I missed these days. Before the fall. So innocent and scarless." He glanced at Yang's daughter.

"As for you my little dragon, I would gladly risk my life to protect you." The stranger's eyes widened. 'The hell did I just say?' he thought as yang turned the room's lights off. The stranger pulled out a photo of himself with his left arm around a human looking yang and his right arm around Blake. "At least I now know that I didn't travel backwards in time."

The next morning

"Mom, wake up." Anya said shaking her mother awake. "Five more minutes." Yang said groaning. Anya huffed before putting her index finger in her mouth before pulling it out with an audible pop. The mere sound caused Yang's eyes to shoot open. That sound meant only one thing. A wet wily

"I'm up Sweetie." She exclaimed sitting up so fast that it sent Anya, who had climbed onto her mother's bed, onto the floor. "Ow." The poor dragon Faunus groaned out rubbing her head. "Sorry, Anya." Yang said helping her daughter up. "I really wish you hadn't seen Grandma Summer use that on me." her daughter pouted. "Sorry, it was a last resort." Anya said.

"So, why'd you wake me?" yang asked. "Someone's at the door mom." Anya said as the sound of knocking was heard. "One second." Yang said putting on some pajama pants.

Yang yawned as she opened the door. "Can I help… Oh morning Professor Goodwitch." The professor of interest stood in front of her. The elder blonde raised a single eyebrow.

"Well, to start with, you can take these and get both yourself and your daughter washed up before classes which start in an hour." Goodwitch said handing Yang two sets of class uniforms. "Before you ask, it was Ozpin's idea. This is your team's schedule. And a letter for you and your team." The professor departed leaving the blonde brawler puzzled. "a letter to me and my team?" she pondered.

After getting cleaned up, yang and Anya headed to their teammates' dorm. "You guys' ready?" she called out knocking on the door. "Yep, we're coming out." Ruby said. While she wore the school uniform, the young reaper still donned her red cape.

Blake raised an eyebrow. "Yang, why does Anya have a school uniform on?" Yang glanced towards Blake as the secret cat Faunus kneeled down helping the young girl straighten her coat.

"Professor Ozpin thought it'd be a good idea to stay close to me and the only way for that to occur is if she attend classes." Weiss frowned

"Are you sure that's a good idea? I understand the motive behind it. As her mother, you should at least forbid her from doing certain classes at least until you think she's ready." She said with genuine concern for the young girl. "One of which, I think you and ruby would agree with me on is combat class. At least until she finds a preferred weapon."

Yang brought a hand up to her chin. "Weiss does have a point Yang." Ruby said.

Later during lunch

The team sat eating with ruby glancing at Weiss. "Weiss, I understand you're embarrassed, but you don't have to make it a big deal. However, yang and I are very happy that you care about Anya's safety" she said as the heiress groaned. Earlier in the day not only did they had the misfortune of having a now fired teacher flirt with them, but Weiss had showed concern for the blonde brawler's daughter.

FLASHBACK BEGIN

"So, students since we are currently without a Grimm studies teacher and until we find a new one. this period will be treated as an independent study hall." Professor Gajeel blacksteel said. "For those who are in my combat class next period consider that a free period to do whatever you want. That excludes the defacing of school property. That's right. I'm looking at you team CRDL." The man glared at the troublemakers

Weiss sighed. 'Honestly, how and why Ozpin allowed such a man teach here is beyond me.' she thought. "With that out of the way, I believe we have a Grimm to deal with. A boarbatusk I believe it was. Any takers?" he asked

Anya began to raise her hand, but Weiss caught it before glancing at yang just in case she would allow it. Yang caught her look and shook her head no before raising her own hand.

"Yang was it?" Gajeel asked. The blonde nodded. "Please get your gear." Anya pouted and yanked her arm out of Weiss' grasp as her mother left. "I didn't do that to be mean Anya. While you're technically a student here, you still don't have a weapon." The heiress said with a worried look. "And I don't think your mother would forgive herself if you got hurt."

Ruby watched the exchange between Weiss and her niece. She smiled. Guess she misjudged the Schnee. The red reaper frowned slightly. While she misjudged the Schnee. Ruby had a feeling that Weiss would struggle slightly with having two faunas on the team

"Um, ruby does Yang always dress like that?" came Blake's voice. Ruby turned to face the ravenette only to find her face a deep crimson. The young reaper followed the red-faced teen's gaze and saw yang in a Sports tube top and jogging pants that hugged her legs slightly. "Oh, that's relatively new. Since she's a now a mom. I believe she called it a… one moment. Weiss could you cover Anya's ears for this."

Weiss nodded and covered the young girl's ears. "Well?" Blake asked her eyes glued to yang's rippling muscles as the blonde did some stretches. "I believe she called it a MILF vibe; I don't know." Ruby saw that Blake hadn't taken her eyes off her sister at all during her warm up stretches.

She grinned. While she worried about yang and Anya. She had no doubt that Anya would get another parent someday. She didn't much care if she ended up with a brother-in-law or a sister-in-law. Judging by the way Blake was eying her sister…. Oh, what fun.

"Like what you see Blake?" Ruby asked quietly with a sly grin. The blush that had been fading on Blake's face returned.

FLASHBACK END

Blake had her face in a book trying to avoid eye contact with ruby or yang. Yang meanwhile had the envelope Professor Goodwitch gave her in her hands. Ruby was the first to notice it. "Yang, what's with the envelope? Another check?" she asked. Yang shook her head.

"No. Professor Goodwitch said it's a letter to us. To team RWBY" The blonde said looking at her teammates. The four looked at one another. Anya's eyes widened when she sensed the residual aura. "It's from him. The one who saved mom and Nora." This caused the girls' eyes to widen. ruby called Nora, and ren over whom were followed by jaune and Pyrrha.

"What's up?" the orange haired half-breed asked. "We got a letter from HIM." Yang said. Ren's eyes widened. "You mean…" he asked before yang nodded. Nora frowned. Ren had told her what happened after she'd been knocked unconscious.

Yang opened it and began to read.

Dear Team RWBY,

I hope you're doing well after the altercation during initiation. Got to admit. He was pretty strong. I hope Nora's recovered from her injuries, she looked pretty banged up, but knowing Thunder Thighs she'll bounce right back.

That line made Nora cover her face as a blush formed on her face. "Thunder thighs?" Yang asked nearly laughing. "The less you know the better." Ren said. Yang shrugged and continued to read.

Anyways, yang look after that kid of yours, the last thing that guy said to me made it sound like this won't be the last we'll see him. Even though I burnt him to ashes.

Jaune gave an impressed whistle. "Burnt to a crisp. A bit excessive, but effective." He said.

I have a feeling we'll cross paths again many times.

Until next time team RWBY and little Xiao Long

Your silver-eyed Savior.

"So, what now?" Nora asked. Yang folded the letter up and glanced at team JNPR. "Now, I'll be seeing what type of weapon Anya prefers." The blonde said. "Is it okay if I tag along?" Blake and Nora ask at the same time. The two looked at each other.

Yang knew why Nora wanted to come with. It was so she could give yang advice about the limits of young dragon faunas. That and she was kind of like Anya's doctor. Blake on the other hand. Well, that was a personal matter.

"Sure, why not?" she said

LATER AFTER CLASSES

"Are you sure we're allowed to use the training gym?" Blake asked Yang. The secret faunas was currently in her own gym wear consisting of a tight-fitting white tank top and purple yoga shorts that had a black version of her emblem on her left side.

Nora, meanwhile, didn't change. "Yes. I got permission from professor Goodwitch. I told her we'd need to find Anya's preferred choice of weapon if she was going to participate in her classes." Yang said. "I'm surprised the Ice Queen was even concerned about Anya's safety." Nora said. "I'm shocked as well." Blake said.

"So, anything we should know about training young dragon faunas concerning physical combat Nora?" Yang asked the half-breed. "Dragon faunas typically have greater stamina reserves than regular faunas, but for younglings around Anya's age. It wouldn't be a good idea to start with hand-to-hand training as their stamina isn't as vast." The orange haired girl said. "Well, then let's begin with weapon selection." Blake said.

3 HOURS LATER

"We've tried every weapon there is. So far, she only likes the wrist crossbows." Blake said stifling a yawn. "Should we move on to hand to hand?" Nora and Blake nodded. however, before they could move towards the machine. Yang's scroll went off. The half-breed and secret faunas watched as yang reached into her bust and pulled it out. The blonde glanced at the two and raised an eyebrow seeing a beet red Blake and a frowning Nora, who was covering Anya's eyes.

"What?" she asked. "Why did you have your scroll there?" Blake asked. "It's a lot safer in there than a back pocket. Nora shook her head in disapproval as yang opened her scroll.

'Hey firecracker. Just thought I'd let you know I found her. The culprit behind Anya's near murder before you met her. The name's Dew Hearts and she's a member of the Valian council. I have an attached video as evidence. Last I saw her was in the shady part of town. Must have caught on to me and hid. I think she might be in a club hiding. Anyways, I can't wait to meet my Great niece-Qrow

"Blake, Nora think you two can look after Anya for a while?" Yang asked gaining a serious demeanor. "Yeah, why?" Blake asked after sharing a glance with the half-breed. "Mom. What's wrong?" Anya asked. "Mama's got some business to take care of in vale.

After changing back into her regular clothes and telling Blake and Nora what she does during the evening with Anya, yang headed for the bullheads. "And where do you think your going?" Yang sighed as she recognized the voice. "Professor Blacksteel, I have business to take care of in Vale." she said calmly. "Not at this hour young lady Curfew is in an hour." The professor said. "Turn around and head back to your dorm." Yang tightened a fist.

"Let her go. Said business is regarding her daughter Gajeel." Grey said having known what yang wanted to do. "I'll keep an eye on her." Gajeel, despite not wanting a student up after curfew, accepted his old friend's proposal. "Very well." Just as they were about to depart a familiar voice rang out.

"If you're looking for Ms. Hearts yang. Head to junior's. That's where she's hiding." It was her silver-eyed savior leaning against a pillar arms crossed. "I may not know you name, but thanks." Yang mumbled.

Blacksteel got into a defensive position. "Easy Gajeel, this is the guy I told you about." Gray said placing a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Speaking of the man, he'll probably help you." The stranger continued. Yang frowned

"I don't think he would. After all I did trash his place." The unknown man smirked. "Just mention that her target was a little Faunus girl. He'll change his mind." With that, the he silver eyed man departed vanishing in the darkness. The student and professors narrowed their eyes.

LATER AT JUNIOR'S

Junior grumbled under his breathe. That blonde ready made a mess of his club. Hopefully she didn't… "Boss, she's back." One of his employees said "And that huntsman Fullbuster is with her." Junior's eyes widened. Blondie was one thing, but to have Fullbuster here. this wasn't good. "Let them in." he said straightening his tie. "Guess who's back!" Yang said cheerfully before a scowl on her face. "Let's talk."

"Listen blondie, I know as much as I did last time you were here." Junior said as grey entered the room. "I wouldn't talk like that in front of an agitated mother dragon." He said. Junior cleared his throat "my apologies Mr. Fullbuster. So, what can I help you with Grey?" the huntsman shook his head.

"Not what you can do for me, but for her." Grey said gesturing to yang. "Fine, why are you here blondie?" Junior asked. "I'm looking for someone named Dew Hearts. Last I heard she was staying here. is she still here." Yang asked. "Yeah. She's in the VIP lounge. Why does it matter to you?"

Yang glanced at Junior before recalling what the stranger had said. "What if I told you that she's responsible for the attempted murder of a seven-year-old faunas girl who happens to be my daughter." What happened next surprised both yang and grey.

Junior furrowed his eyebrows and growled. "Tell me everything blondie." Yang gladly did so. "So, she was being tailed by your uncle and decided to take shelter here huh?" yang nodded. Junior furrowed his eyebrows and glanced at some of his men. "Bring her out her boys and don't be gentle." They nodded and headed for the lounge.

"Why are you helping us." Yang asked surprised. "I have a soft spot for kids and I'm a supporter of faunas rights. So, when I hear a person staying at my club is killing people just because they aren't human. well, lets just say either they pay up or get kicked out." Yang nodded in understanding. "You wanted a strawberry sunrise last time right?" Junior asked

"Unhand me. I can walk on my own." Dew hearts said before junior's men tossed her to the floor as junior approached her. "Junior may I ask why your men dragged me from my Room!?" she asked angrily. "let's just say I received some juicy news that could ruin your reputation." Junior said.

Yang and grey avoided making eye contact. "How do you want to handle this?" Grey asked quietly. "Obviously, I won't beat her to pulp, but I will knock her lights out." Yang said bringing up the video her uncle had recorded.

"How much do you want to keep quiet." Junior raised an eyebrow. "I'm a member of the Valian council." The club owner chuckled. "Even better on a ruined reputation. Hear that boys, she's a councilwoman." Junior's smile faded.

"Unfortunately for you…" Junior began as a video played with dew's voice in it

"I don't know why it didn't work with this one. It worked for the others. I'll try something different next time I lure in one of those filthy animals in to kill it."

"…I'm not the person you should be begging for your life to. You want to know why? It's because that kid you tried to kill is her daughter." The club owner finished as Yang turned around, eyes a burning crimson.

"How much to keep quiet. Name your price." Dew pleaded. however; her eyes widened in terror as the spectral image of a feral dragon appeared behind the enraged Dragoness faunas before her. "All I want, is to see you suffer." Yang snarled before punching the councilwoman clear across the room embedding herself in the wall.

"Feel better blondie?" Junior asked watching his men peel the unconscious woman out of the wall. "Yeah, er sorry bout the wall." Junior shook his head. "Don't sweat it. If it regards taking out trash like that it doesn't matter."

"Well kid are we finished here?" Grey asked. "Yeah, just sent the video of her confession to the police and told them to find her under the west bridge." Yang said. Junior nodded. "You heard her boys. Take that trash and dump her there." The men nodded and dragged the unconscious woman out the back.

"We good Junior?" Yang asked. "As long as you don't trash my place again." The club owner said. "Done. By the way. Do you know any good tattoo parlors in this part of vale." Yang asked getting a raised eyebrow from Grey.

TWO HOURS LATER

"Got to admit Yang that's a nice way to honor Natsu." Grey said as yang glanced at her newly acquired Fairy tail tattoo. It was a solid yellow with an orange trim located on her right forearm. "Thanks professor." Yang said arriving at her dorm. "Night." He said departing.

Yang's heart couldn't help but melt at the scene before her. In the chair that she usually uses to read was Blake and Anya. Both were fast asleep with the book hanging loosely in the secret faunas' hands. Nora on the other hand, was using one of the spare beds snoring away quietly.

Quickly and quietly, yang carefully placed a blanket on her daughter and partner before getting ready for bed herself.

However, unaware to her, the silver eyed stranger was watching all the while.

A/N: Before you say anything the silver eyed stranger is more of a protector than what you're thinking. Team RWBY will have a few more encounters with this mysterious man before his identity is revealed. As always read and review. That being said peace.
