Alan's Talk With Reggie
At the Mayberry residence that night, Reggie Mayberry was tucking his daughter and his nephew into their bunks.
Alan had a question for his uncle.
"Uncle Reggie?" Alan asked.
Reginald turned toward his nephew, "Yes, Alan, what is it?" he asked.
"Do you have to work tomorrow?" Alan asked his uncle.
"Not tomorrow, Alan," Reginald answered. "I will be all yours then, why do you ask?"
"Mister and Missis Doctor Brown are moving from their apartment to a single family house in the suburbs just outside the city so they could have more space since Valerie's grandfather is living with them permanently now," Alan told Reginald. "so, they will need help moving their furniture onto the truck, so..."
"So, you're asking if I would like to help the Browns with their move?" Reginald asked Alan.
"That's right." Alan said to his uncle.
"Say no more, I would be happy to help." Reginald answered his nephew.
"That's awesome," Alan said. "because Mister McCoy will also be helping Val's family move."
Reginald crept out of the children's bedroom.
