"Ugh. Nothing. Damn. I need supplies. Not a damn thing in this building." Alexis says as she is walking in human form.

"Run Dina!" A voice shouts as Alexis looks around hearing people not far from her in the hallway.

"What in the? Is that Ellie? What's she doing here? Ah!" Alexis shouts in alarm as someone runs into her before she looks and sees a girl with dark hair ran into her.

"What the? Alexis?" A voice asks revealing to be Ellie as she runs over.

"Nice to see you too. Mind letting me up?" Alexis asks as she looks at the girl on top of her.

"Oh sorry. You two know each other?" The girl asks as she lets Alexis up.

"Not the place or time. We need to leave. Now!" Ellie says.

"Wait. Ellie why is your friend wearing a mask and you're not? What's going on?" Alexis asks.

"I'll explain later. Dina, Alexis come on! We gotta go. Those doors won't hold long." Ellie says in alarm.

"Won't hold what long?" Alexis asks before the group hears the screaming of infected coming toward them.

"Infected! They're chasing us! We gotta run!" Ellie shouts in alarm.

"Shit. In that case follow me. I know the way out." Alexis says as the group sees infected coming toward them and begins running.

"Don't have to tell us twice." Dina says as she and Ellie follow after Alexis.

"This way!" Alexis says as the group heads infected getting closer.

"They're catching up!" Ellie shouts worriedly.

"Almost there! Through those gates doors! Hurry! Ah!" Alexis shouts as the group runs toward some gated spin doors and gets through them with Alexis going last only to get grabbed by a clicker.

"Alexis hang on!" Ellie shouts before she shoots the walker making it let go of Alexis.

"Are you okay?" Dina asks as Alexis nods while coughing slightly from trying to catch her breath.

"Yeah. Fine. What about you two?" Alexis asks before Dina collapses.

"Dina! Come up. Get up." Ellie says as she helps Dina to her feet.

"Come on. I know a place she can rest. I was taking refuge in a theater not far from here." Alexis says.

"That sounds so fucking good right now." Dina says.

"Thanks Alexis." Ellie says as she begins following Alexis while helping Dina walk.

"Not a problem. Over here. Damn it. The doors jammed again. Ellie can you help me here?" Alexis asks as she leads the group to a theater before finding the doors are shut tight.

"Sure." Ellie says as she sets Dina down before helping Alexis push the doors open as the group then goes inside as Dina sits down on an old couch.

"There. That ought to hold. Man that was close." Alexis says as she uses a chair to bar the doors shut.

"Do you want to tell me what's going on with you?" Ellie asks as she and Alexis look curiously at Dina.

"What's going on with me? Ellie... I just saw you breath spores. And I just saw your friend breathing spores too. Wanna explain that?" Dina asks.

"I told you. I'm immune. As far as Alexis we'll she's immune but for different reasons. Mine I can't really explain." Ellie says as Alexis looks at her.

"Okay. So you're both immune? Come on." Dina says in disbelief.

"I was bitten a long time ago..." Ellie says.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Dina asks.

"I was bitten a long time ago and nothing happened." Ellie says.

"The chemical burn..." Dina says as she looks at Ellie's arm.

"Maria and Tommy... and Joel are the only ones who know... Knew... Now you know... As for Alexis she's that way because she's a wolf shifter... Something to do with her genetics..." Ellie says as Alexis nods.

"A wolf shifter?" Dina asks as she looks at Alexis.

"Yeah. If you've been hearing howling around the area that's been me. I kinda do that to warn off humans in my territory. But I can't turn you or anything so don't worry." Alexis says.

"I can't... get you infected either if that's what you're worried about. I can't make you immune either." Ellie says as she looks at a quiet Dina.

"I think I'll uh give you two some space. You look like you could use it. I'll be around if you need me. So uh holler I guess." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and walks off.

"Thanks for listening to me Alexis. I feel like a jerk for talking to Dina like that." Ellie says as she is walking with Alexis.

"It's alright Ellie. To be honest I agree with you. Dina should have told you. She put herself and the baby in danger by coming. Yes you were harsh but to be honest you were right. She shouldn't have come. It wasn't safe for her." Alexis says as she looks at Ellie.

"Yeah but I was the one who let her come. She's my girlfriend. I should have known better." Ellie says.

"Your girlfriend?" Alexis asks in surprise.

"Yeah. She's more than just my friend. We weren't really more than that back when you and I first met. But now she and I are." Ellie says shyly as she smiles.

"Oh. Well you make a cute couple. She's lucky to have someone that cares about her like you." Alexis says as she smiles at Ellie kindly.

"Thanks Alexis. So um any uh special friends for you?" Ellie asks curiously.

"Nah. Or well there was one." Alexis says shyly.

"Ooh. Tell me." Ellie says as she smiles playfully causing Alexis to chuckle.

"Well he was cute. But it didn't work out. Guy was kind of a dick." Alexis says as Ellie chuckles.

"Lots of them are. That's why I stick to women." Ellie says proudly.

"I can see why. I've never been with a girl but at this point I just want someone will want me for me." Alexis says.

"I'm sure you'll find someone. I didn't think I'd meet anyone like Dina but if I can do it so can you." Ellie says as she looks at Alexis.

"Thanks Ellie. I appreciate it. But for what it's worth I am sorry for everything that happened. I know how it feels." Alexis says as she gives a sympathetic look.

"It's alright. But that's why I'm out here. To get revenge for Joel." Ellie says determinedly.

"I respect that. I wish I could of done the same for my family. I'd like to help." Alexis says as she stops before Ellie stops and looks at her in surprise.

"Really?" Ellie asks.

"Yeah." Alexis says.

"Thanks Alexis. Could honestly use that wolf nose of yours anyway." Ellie says as she smiles.

"You hear that?" Alexis asks as she and Ellie find Dina in a room with a map on the floor and some pictures.

"Hey." Ellie says.

"Hey. How hot do I look right now?" Dina asks.

"Pretty hot. How'd you fix it?" Ellie asks as she sees Dina fixed a radio.

"It was a lose connection... Antenna. They found our mess at the school." Dina says.

"Good." Ellie says.

"This guy. Owen. He went AWOL." Dina says as Ellie looks at the picture.

"Maybe Tommy got to him." Ellie says.

"Maybe." Dina says.

"What about her?" Ellie asks.

"Nothing yet." Dina says.

"Unit Romeo. You are requested at Site Two. You are requested at Site Two. Confirm." A man on the radio says.

"So the numbers are locations. The TV station we were at? That's six. There's a lot of chatter coming from Two so I'm assuming that's their home base." Dina says as she hold she stomach.

"Are you okay Dina?" Alexis asks as Ellie sits beside Dina and rubs her back.

"I could be better. That helps." Dina says.

"Look... Last night was... Stupid." Ellie says as she rubs Dina's back.

"Yeah." Dina says as she smiles at Ellie.

"Casualties reported in Fourteen. All available units report. Over." The voice on the radio says as the group listens to him talk.

"Lone male trespasser?" Dina asks as she hears a trespasser mentioned and looks at Ellie.

"Tommy?" Ellie asks.

"Not sure." Dina says.

"Okay then guess." Ellie says.

"Well... If this is Seven then Twelve's all the way over here. I guess it's in this neighborhood." Dina says.

"Hillcrest." Ellie says.

As Alexis unblocks the door she and Ellie see Dina breathing a bit heavy as she stands near the couch.

"Ellie." Alexis says as she looks at Ellie earning a nod from her.

"Dina?" Ellie asks.

"Yeah? Not good." Dina says.

"Hey. Alexis and I'll go get him. You keep track of them from here okay?" Ellie asks as Dina nods.

"Yeah. Okay." Dina says reluctantly.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure Ellie comes back safe." Alexis says as she smiles at Dina.

"Thanks Alexis. Hey wait. Give me your hand. It's for good luck." Dina says as she ties a bracelet around Ellie's wrist.

"I don't believe in luck." Ellie says.

"I do." Dina says as Ellie kisses her causing Alexis to smile watching the two before looking away.

"Come on Alexis. Let's get moving." Ellie says as she looks at Alexis.

"Right." Alexis says as she and Ellie leave.
