"It's not common for villains to accept defeat, furthermore that their used to getting humiliated and having any plans they spent months coming up with ruined. Though when it comes to Bebop he was used to it, that was until he was kept out of a plan that had Ivy take out Luthor's assistants and to introduce her new team to the public. It worked for her but for him, he felt like he lost the trust of a friend. In which he couldn't handle it and had to take a leave of absence from her and the Legion with everything happening to him, which left him to go to Karai for comfort from the drama going on amongst the crew. Lately for Karai both she and Shinigami have started to take things easy in Gotham since the Foot had left, still they always felt there was something brewing Gotham just waiting to happen."
Morning-Karai's Plaza
When Shredder left Gotham after giving the position of mayor to someone else, he left several hundreds of dollars away since he had bigger interest than money. This left Karai to take it and buy out a rooftop plaza for herself as well Shinigami due to the effort in fighting off her father's ninja clan for months. At the pool was Karai who was doing several laps to enjoy the water as well admiring the sight of the city she has now considered home, as well a source of entertainment if it allowed her to take out criminals or people that annoy her. Wearing a black bikini with a kunai by her waist for protection and on her phone looking at the news on what happened at the Legion incident several nights ago.
"When the staff of Lex Luthor abruptly attacks one of Poison Ivy's coworkers, she announces her new team the Natural Disasters. Based off various environmental elements of the world, they struck down the giant with Bebop taking lead as well being prompted to leading the team in an effort to support socially conscious evil idea."
Reading the blog made recently as she was proud that mutant she once threatens and would kill was now in charge of his own team of villains. Unlike the foot he would be assign with several ninjas under his command, yet this time he was his own boss and had individuals with their own abilities. Yet instead of acting like his usual self who would celebrate with music and drinks, he came here depressed and hadn't left the bedroom since he came to her. Walking out of the apartment was Shinigami wearing her own type of bikini as she walked to her own chair to enjoy the sunlight as well inform Karai about the situation with Bebop.
"Your love is still in bed Senpai. He only comes out to keep brush his teeth as well groom himself, only to return back to hide underneath the sheets. Was he like this back in New York when the turtles beat him?"
Asking Karai about how Bebop was acting and not doing anything but remain in one spot and doing nothing for the day. Remembering the past when the two were in league with the foot and would be beaten by the turtles, Shredder would have them punish and reminded to not fail him again. She herself would be in charge of punishing them in grueling ways, yet they still found a way to cheer themselves up under the pressure they were put in. Yet this time it was done to him and was place in a position that he couldn't take since he didn't have his friend and lied to all in one night.
"He just needs some company to relief the problem that plant woman put him in. And seeing that he has kept himself groomed and clean, I wouldn't mind joining him in bed since we are considered mates."
Responding to Shinigami about comforting the mutant due to how they hadn't been around each other since Valentine's Day, since it was the same day he promised to hers and no one else. Emerging from the pool to dry herself off, Karai walked inside where she made her way into the bedroom where she noticed Bebop's clothing on the ground and seeing her mutant in bed grumbling in the blankets and not moving.
"My love, you shouldn't turn your back in a kunoichi's home. Otherwise you might get stabbed in the back."
Warning him as she pulled out her kunai and leapt into the air possibly trying to get Bebop to react to her attack. Just as the woman was about to land on him, she was quickly stopped by him as Bebop held her arm and pins her on the bed. Having him on top and staring at her in annoyed tone, her thoughts were rushing on what he'd do next whether it was to fight her or sensual.
"Babe. Unless you want me to turn you into those babes that end up drooling after a night of banging, I'm not in the mood."
Warning her that since he came to her after what happened at Ivy's show, he was upset and didn't want nothing happening that involved fights or arguments. Along suggesting the one way he's feel better was if he took all his aggression out on having sex with Karai since he loved seeing her go sex craze whenever they do it. Yet Bebop didn't do anything but sought her company and nothing else, he lets go of her wrists before retreating back to the sheets. Watching the mutant retreat back into the covers, Karai joins him in an effort to get close enough to see what was going on in his mutant head.
"If it meant helping you be your destructive and idiotic self, I wouldn't mind my backside being abused by you my love. But I want to know what the reason for this depression, Ivy has placed you in charge of a team that respects you from how I've heard. What's happened to the warthog that made me laugh?"
Asking him what happened that night and how she would have enjoyed being with a leader of his own villain team. Bebop took a moment to think about it which hurt since the emotions he was going through that night was too much, both being lied to about Ivy's plan in taking out Jon and being promoted as a leader for the first time in his life. He felt like passing out since he couldn't handle the stress he was feeling, he didn't know how to react as well knew leaving was the best option for him.
"Confused. At first having my own gang would be cool, not like the Foot or Purple Dragon punks. Just people that enjoy making trouble and having a laugh but getting it when my own friend kept it secret from me while working with the same person that used her. I just don't understand it, and it just makes me want to kill Lex for making that dumb offer."
Explaining that this confusion and anger he was feeling came from Lex after they had just handled Shredder's mad plan in taking over Gotham City. Not controlling his anger, Bebop was holding the side of Karai's thigh making her wince at his grip. Yet it only pleasured her since he was the only one who could do it to her, though the moment went away as Bebop's face soon became more relax since it didn't matter that he couldn't go after him. He was connected to Ivy as well her fundings, so whatever he does to him would affect her.
"Then you have to let her figure this issue out on her own. Ivy is a powerful as well unpredictable woman, she'll manage. While for you have other matters to think of, such as grooming yourself to lead a crew that is fond of you. And possibly coming with me to check several music stores opened up, it be fascinating to learn something from you."
Suggesting Bebop that he should take the moment to enjoy his new position Ivy gave him as well the opportunity to prove himself as a leader and adding on that he'd start by showing her what type of music to listen to and enjoy when it came to relaxing moments like this. Hearing her words along the chance to teach her the taste in his music taste, he looked over to Karai seeing a bit of excitement and possibly a chance to have a make out session before enjoying the day amongst themselves.
"Maybe I should teach you something right now. Which is what happens when you want to flirt with a hot blooded guy like myself~"
Responding to her suggestions as he grabbed the sides of her waist getting into the moment which caught Karai by surprise as she managed to bring out his mutant side. Getting closer to him and about to start making out with him, they heard the door knock which made them stop since it had to be Shinigami. The couple stopped as they looked at the witch kunoichi as she had a shocked expression on her face as couldn't explain about what was happening.
"There's something you need to see. And it's happening right now as we speak, it involves your friend and boss."
Informing Bebop about something that was happening with Rocksteady and Harley which had him concern as he got out of the bed and started to get dress. Karai doing the same, she followed Karai to the living room where she had the television on which showed a news report on a news report about an attempted theft happening on the streets. It showed a truck transporting what looked like a ape here and had Ivy and Harley on it, along Rocksteady by the side trying to make the truck stop driving with the cruiser. Coming out fully dressed to see the screen, Bebop was shocked at the three doing this together and not inviting however to what look like a classic heist job.
"I've seen those street signs down the road, they're coming up to our street right now."
Stating that the truck was coming up the block as well authorities were in their tails. They heard several gunshots going off from outside as the three rushed over to see the truck coming up the street and GCPD behind them shooting at his friends. Noticing how he wanted to join them and see what was going on, Karai went back inside to grab his chainsaw and a backpack she had stored on the side as she handed him to the mutant as it got Bebop confused on what she was planning.
"Remember those assignments you'd usually get from by Shredder? He'd have you and Rocksteady be distractions for the Yakuza while me and other ninjas took them by surprise. This is how we did it, the kite technique. Pull both straps and you'll glide in the air, come back quick."
Explaining to Bebop fast as the warthog was confused by it and remembered how she would take out enemies from above. Without having a moment to ask what she was suggesting, Karai pushed him off quickly leaving him to yell loudly as well go face forward to the street as he tried to remember what she said about the straps. Looking at the straps by the sides he quickly tugs on them both which resulted in his bag changing into a kite as he holds the handles which whisked himself off midair and flying above the runaway truck. Holding onto the sides and trying to open the sphere, Harley was trying any type of method in opening it while Rocksteady was driving the truck and Ivy holding onto the side since this plan was insane even for them.
"I know that your upset about Batman and Nightwing missing, but traveling back in time is hands down the worst thing that you could come up with babe."
Commenting that after the visit from Batgirl and being informed of the news of both Batman and his sidekick missing, she decided to change it prevent it by going back to the night when Luthor made Ivy the deal into becoming CEO of the legion. That way she didn't need to join the Bat family and the boys staying with them so that they didn't split up.
"Trust me. I've spent all night watching a bunch of time travel movies and trying to figure out which one would, leaving to Back to the Future having the best method in going fixing everything. Otherwise the eighties lied to me."
Responding to Ivy's response to the crime they were committing as they were trying to steal a time sphere. A vehicle that could travel to any point in time and space as well was to be sent back to its original destination. Continuing in cracking the door, Ivy saw cops coming from behind them trying to shoot them as she sprouts several vines from plants, they were driving pass and halted them from chasing the truck. Not knowing above her was a surprising sight which was Bebop on a kite as well continuing to scream as he couldn't fly it right, this led to him going forward and hitting the top of the truck to see Rocksteady driving it which caught the rhino off by surprise.
"Bebop? When did you learn to fly?"
"Forget that. Why do you smell like cow shit and getting chase by cops? That's our thing!"
Both of them questioning their motives as Rocksteady couldn't drive properly as he hits a fire hydrant causing him to swerve uncontrollable causing him to flip the truck. The mutants flew right off the rig while for Harley and Ivy were able to jump off seeing the vehicle flipping in the air and the time sphere breaking on impact. The four looked shocked at how they destroyed the time device and the truck exploding at the same time, leaving Harley to look at Bebop upset how he came at an unpredictable moment.
"As much as I would like to start yelling at you. I'm glad that your here, especially how there several other time traveling crap that we can snag in Gotham before the end of the day."
Taking a moment to calm herself since the time sphere was amongst numerous time devices that was in Gotham locked up in fortified labs. Checking out her phone on another time machine they could steal, Bebop noticed amongst the broken parts of the time sphere was an hourglass with hands wrapped around it. He was about to grab it until a portal opened right in front of him sending him to floor as the others noticed the portal in front of them.
"And this is how time travel works, someone tries to do it and the bullshit starts. Bet we're going see future versions of us or maybe an assassin trying to stop us from attempting it."
Ivy pointing out the flaws of time traveling as she got her answer in the form of a para-demon wearing foot ninja garments. It wasn't alone as more demon ninjas came out of the portal swarming them and trying to take the hourglass from Bebop. The four kept down avoiding their claws and blades as they were about to be surrounded, that was until another portal opened up with several projectiles coming out of it in various forms. It included ninja stars, killer vines and heat vision taking out the demons. Confused at what was helping them, they saw a figure in robe with a red monocle staring at them in an intimidating manner.
"If you want to survive this, bring the hourglass and come with me."
Informing Harley and the crew as the stranger headed back into the portal to escape from the para-demons. Unfortunately, one of them got lucky and hurled an energy ninja star at Bebop forcing him to let go of the hourglass. Just as the four criminals escaped the attackers, they heard a whistle from their portal as they retreated back into their portal with a nefarious laughter coming from within seeing how they had the piece that came from the destroyed time sphere.
Unknown Time Era
Traveling with the mysterious savior, a portal had opened up in a mysterious location which left Harley and the others to collapse on the ground confused about what happened. Dazed from the portal and trying to get up, each of them were hearing arguments in front of them as it seemed the stranger wasn't alone. They saw the stranger arguing with three other individuals in front of her, one was a girl having costume having clocks around her and cape as she appeared to be a time traveler. The other two looked mutant like, the first was a female rhino with blonde hair with a jacket that had Superman's crescent with commando styled pants and the other a male warthog wearing ninja clothing and wielding a katana.
"I told you it was a risky move in traveling to that point in time. If he found us he could have taken our part of the time scepter."
The time themed girl telling the red monocle figure as the four were arguing about how it went off easy and they were able to save the group as well the hourglass. The adolescents continued to go back and forth on what they did was the right thing to do, eventually it was interrupted by a whistle coming from Rocksteady who managed to stop the yelling as well a chance for them to figure out what was going on.
"Can you all just shut the hell up and tell us who are you people?"
Questioning them as the rhino was able to see better and looked directly at the rhino girl for a second who looked shocked since he knew the pants she was wearing. It was the same he had when he was a teenager, the rhino girl looked at him as she was speechless at seeing the adult rhino staring back at her. Taking a moment to adjust herself, she wanted to be the first to explain it.
"Well. We're kind of, sort of. It's really tough to say but we're your. I mean, daddy!"
Unable to control herself as she rushed over in a mad dash and hugged Rocksteady which made the others shocked at this display of affection. Unable to think about what was happening, the rhino tried to piece it together getting the idea that this was his kid. Harley was able to figure it out as well as she got a better look at the hybrid warthog as he looked very similar to Bebop as she looked at the mutant who was speechless at his friend having a kid.
"Yes, I'm his kid. Can we get moving before someone says something bad?"
The young warthog asking the group as the villains got up on their feet before falling the teenagers down the tunnel they were in. Continuing to follow the red eyed stranger, Rocksteady was still taking in the fact that he had a kid as well that she missed him.
"I can't believe I'm an aunt again! And that you two have good looking kids, there's so many questions I need asked now. Do we have a kid? Is she, he or they the top bad ass in the future? Or are we running a breakfast restaurant? It was one of the things I wanted to do if I got bored with the criminal life."
Harley asking several questions about what the future was and if they were around. The two mutant kids didn't say anything since it was a tough subject to talk about, however the time themed heroine decided to indulge the clown woman and answer several of them without giving away any vital information.
"It's complicated to answer that but, maybe introductions are important. The two you were able to recognize is Kei and Rachel. Kei mostly riles on Karai's Foot training and basing himself off the Japanese music style of Visual Kei. Rachel is our powerhouse Kryptonian mutant who helps clearing out areas, while myself am Renet. A fully graduated Timestress."
"And the best girlfriend on the planet!"
Rachel shouting out while being with her dad which confirmed that they were dating which caught Rocksteady off guard that his daughter was dating a time traveler. Continuing the walk, they managed to arrive somewhere safe as the cloaked stranger opened the door letting everyone in. It was a small hobble along had several items that seemed familiar to the past villains, especially newspapers showing staggering events that had happened.
"While it's good to know your not apocalyptic cannibals but we want to know where we are. And I want to know now."
Ivy questioning the stranger as she was answered with a newspaper which she caught quickly to check out the date. It was the year thirty forty five, the others took a look seeing that they were decades in the future. More importantly they were looking at an image on the newspaper seeing the mutant twins and other heroes fighting a group called the Fatal Five.
"You're in the thirty first century. New Gotham City, and in the club house of the Legion of Outlaws."
Another voice calling out from a room which the others looked seeing another surprising sight. An elderly ninja turtle wearing similar robes of Splinter and his neck stretching out as he shared a smile to the villains surprised in seeing them again. Harley took a closer look at the turtle as she was able to recognize the relaxed personality and smile he was showing.
"Mikey? You look as old as Splinter. And your in charge of these rascals?"
Asking the younger brother of the turtles as well surprised to be helping the two mutant kids out with being what looked like heroes on the newspaper. Bebop and Rocksteady didn't know whether to be horrified or humiliated that their former enemy was training their kids to be heroes as well them not around keeping an eye out on the two.
"Nah. I only help go with the flow; I teach them a few things but they know how to handle things. But I think this time things are serious since they're chasing this weirdo called, what was his name again?"
The old Mikey asking the hooded stranger as she pulled out a device which showed a holographic image of a mutant goat with the same time themed suit like Renet. Though what came next was several images of him attacking cities, altering the timeline and attacking other superheroes.
"Savanti Romero. A time mutant that has been causing all kinds of time related disasters in the future, he's been after the time scepter that has been kept hidden for ages. The hourglass piece was inside the time sphere when it accidentally was sent to your era, we have the staff. Now that we have both pieces, he won't be able to break free."
Explaining to them who the creature was and the attackers that ambushed them. The future outlaws looked at Bebop who still had the piece to the staff, however the warthog showed both hands expressing that he dropped it when they escaped the demon ninjas. The red monocled stranger gripped her fist as she hits the side of the wall infuriated by him dropping the object.
"You retro idiot! If he has the hourglass than he can send more of his monsters and any other assholes across time and space as well destroy the space time continuum!"
Shouting at Bebop which startled the others at her outburst leaving Kei to calm her down since it wasn't a good time to lose her head. They had to focus in getting the piece back, especially now with the time mutant having the vital part of the scepter.
"Hey! I'm the only one who gets to scream at him. As well it wasn't his fault in getting jumped by pajama wearing demons, especially that we were going back in time to fix shit."
Harley talking back at the stranger as the two stared at one another seeing if a fight was about to start. Just as the room was feeling tense, an alarm was going off on the stranger's belt as she quickly answered it seeing a shark male which looked like King Shark but with frost like skin. It had to be one of Nanaue's kids who had inherited Killer Frost's powers as well on an assignment.
"Neytiri. It's Frost Bite, Me and Glider are at Savanti's stronghold, the energy readings are going off the scale. We might need some help here."
The shark telling her before signing off as it seemed Savanti's was already starting to send his army across the timeline. While the outlaws started to get ready, Harley decided to take charge since this was becoming too much for her and the others since they felt like getting dragged into what was sounding like a war. Yet there was another issue she had to bring up since it was bothering her.
"Neytiri? Seriously? The blue chick from Avatar? Not to diss you or anything since your with our friend's kids but who the hell gave you that name?"
Asking her about the name that Frost Bite called her since it was a ridiculous name. Though the hooded girl decided to oblige her by removing her hood and face cover revealing an alarming sight that scared Harley and Ivy. She had green skin that resembled Ivy and Harley's white hair tied in ponytails, the feeling set in as they were both staring at they're daughter."
"Not you two. And your both my mom's."
Responding to them briefly before removing her cloak showing her own type of clothing which involved her appearing like soldier. The gang was shocked at seeing Harley's kid and looking over to Mikey seeing him laughing lightly at the reveal, as well they had much to ask her once they travel to Savanti's dimension and stop him before he destroys the timeline.
Later-Savanti Romero's Dimension
Using the same technology that allowed them to travel back in time, Neytiri used it to bring them to Romero's dimensional prison as they arrived to a wasteland environment surrounded by dead trees and surrounded by thunderstorms. Arriving near the fortress, they saw it heavily guarded by the para demon ninjas and undead warriors itching for combat. Yet it was being interrupted by Harley fawning over her her daughter being a leader of her own crew and fighting sociopathic mad men.
"Your gorgeous, you have your mom's complexion and obvious rocking body to make you a hit in town. Please tell did I teach anything I'm going learn in the future? Are you vegan? Are you dating right now?! Whoever it is we want to meet them and make sure they're treating our baby right."
Rambling about that she didn't see her future self with Neytiri and wanted to know about her life. Desperately wanting the answers, Neytiri stopped her as she told the others to take cover as several creatures were flying in the air keeping guard over the area. Avoiding getting noticed by the creatures, Harley noticed something on her daughter's right hand. A purple wedding ring which made her want to scream, luckily Ivy rushed over to cover her girlfriend's mouth since this was a surprising discovery. Looking at Neytiri for answers, Ivy wanted to know who was able to offer her hand in marriage which annoyed the villain daughter.
"Let's just say you already met him, and he's having his own issues with his dad right now."
Replying to the wedding ring on her finger as the two looked over seeing Kei who was by his father Bebop keeping watch if anyone would notice them. The warthog ninja noticed the women staring at him and gesturing about the wedding ring Neytiri was wearing, leaving him to show his ring to them which made Bebop gasp at the sight as he had to look at the ring he had on.
"Damn son, that is some fine jewelry. Guess you got a taste in strong and crazy like your old man eh? That's my boy."
Bebop praising Kei on getting engaged with Neytiri resulting in the teen warthog snorting at the praise since there wasn't any time to celebrate the moment. This got Bebop concern since his kid should be like him, he has his looks but so far his personality is similar to Karai's. With the close being clear the outlaws made their way into the stronghold with Rachel taking the lead, heading to what looked like a sewer drain with a large beast guarding the entrance. Smirking at the sight she walked over not afraid of it as well having it roar at her face, only for Rachel to grab it by the tongue and spin the beast around several times before throwing it in midair and having it impaired on several trees. Rocksteady was speechless at his daughter having his strength combined with Power girl's will to not be afraid of anything.
"Show off."
Neytiri stating to the rhino girl since she could tell Rachel wanted to show how strong she was for her father. Heading into the tunnel the group walked passed several skeletons and other individuals that stood against Romero, it gave the past villains the creeps while the legion ignored the fear seeing there were bigger things to be afraid of them dead things.
"Just making conversation but back at the clubhouse when you said that we didn't give you that name. I mean we might be pains in the ass, but we'd at least give you a name that be awesome."
Ivy wanting to know about her daughter's name since the last thing she'd name her child if she planned on having one would be from a two hour movie. The pig tailed girl said nothing as they were hearing several grunts right above them which was coming from the others who were dealing with Savanti. Reaching near an open entrance, Neytiri gestured the group to follow her quietly as they sneaked right into what looked like the time mutant's throne room. Harley and the others followed Neytiri's lead as they saw in front of them King Shark's future son and another member of the team which looked like Kite man with the same ribbons that Golden Glider wears. The two were battered and injured from what looked like a beating they took from Savanti as he was in front of them with the hourglass as he wore it like a necklace.
"I've battled the strongest beings that this century had to offer. Imperiax, the last Zarnian and the hordes of dimension x. Yet none of them have been able to satisfy my power, and yet you two decide to face me. Pathetic."
Mocking them as he had his demon ninjas on standby looking at the work of their master since he wanted to practice for when he breaks free of his prison and goes on another rampage across time and space. Frost Bite and Glider got up wobbling from their injuries staring at the time mutant not giving up but feeling like they were about to collapse.
"What can we say? We're stubborn brats. But that's why the Legion of Superheroes let us handle you, because we don't know when to give up."
Glider responding to him as his eyes glowed green as he quickly hurled his ribbons at Savanti only for the mutant to grab them, pulling the human in he back hands the kite themed teen to the ground. Watching the display of his strength against them, Harley wanted to jump in to stop them. Yet Neytiri kept her mother at bay as she whistled to Renet to come over by her side as she had the staff piece of the time scepter.
"Wait till the right moment. One they wear him out will take the hourglass from him, then combine the pieces and turn his goat ass into dust."
Telling her the plan once they take the hourglass as Harley only her fist for her to let the boys get beaten by Savanti. Continuing to watch the teens fight the time mutant, he was able to hear the breathing of the others as he gazed at Harley who saw them hiding in the shadows.
"Get back!"
Calling out as she pulled Neytiri away as well the others taking cover as he somehow was able to destroy the spot they were standing in with mere a gaze. Out in the open for him to see them clearly, the time mutant lets out a laugh at how it was a sight to see Harley Quinn and the other past villains with the legion.
"Isn't this the sight? You bring the four calamites of earth to fight me? That's ironic isn't it Neytiri? Especially how you and that pig boyfriend of yours despise them."
Telling them shocking news about the engaged couple hating Bebop and the two women for an unknown reason. This caused Kei to hurl several kunai at him but they were stopped by several demons as they swooped in to capture them and bring the group to his feet. Even though they were bonded and were facing a dangerous mutant, Harley and Ivy were shocked to hear that Neytiri hates them.
"You don't know do you? Well then. Allow me to show you why your children hate you, even to the point of your own daughter giving herself her own name."
Deciding to hurt them further as he used the hourglass to project them a visual image of Gotham City in ashes. Bodies laid out dead and decayed and the sky colored red, while the villains were used to seeing destruction like this. What they were watching was pure horror due to there being no signs of life or survivors left for the aftermath.
"You four caused the downfall of not just the city, but for your planet. The antics you caused led to a rather messy war that devastated everyone around you, both hero and villain alike. Earth became so barren that space itself pity you. And rebuilt the cities and found survivors, including the children right before you."
Explaining the history about the destruction the four somehow caused for Gotham to lead Earth into total devastation. Yet what horrified them was the kids survived the destruction of what they had done, as well seeing the future come to be and rebuilding civilization again. To the point where it became a part of the coalition of planets to make sure another world ending event doesn't happen again, along the creation of the Legion of Superheroes.
"Still. Even after the pain you caused, the rhino girl still loves her father. As well tries to convince people he wasn't a monster, but not Kei and Neytiri. They hate you, loath you. Wish you all were dead."
Tugging at their string hearts which left Harley and Ivy heartbroken at what they did to their daughter. Much for Bebop as he looked at his kid see the look on his face being true, with hearing that and believing he broke their will to continue. He had a demon ninja take the staff from Renet for him to combine both parts to finally escape his prison and begin his rampage across the space time continuum. Combining the two pieces together, he heard a small laugh from Neytiri about what he said about her hating her parents.
"You think, there the reason I changed my name? So I wouldn't be related to them? No. That pain went away when Michelangelo adopted us after he lost his family. And a new one with us."
Responding to Savanti's speech about the two hating they're parents which left the others confused about what Neytiri said. The demons brought her over to Romero to look at him face to face so he could get an understanding behind her mockery at him.
"His family was nuts, did so many things that put his home in danger. Yet they cared for each other, even when they protected New York to their last breath. He showed us how to smile, to grow up and forgive. Yet out of all of that you got one thing right about them. I do hate my mom's, but not because they doomed the world."
Going on how the ninja turtle manage to the survive the war and teaching the villain kids about humility and family. While she was distracting him with her words, Neytiri looked at the staff as she focused on making it shake as there was something within it. Coming out of the time scepter was several vines which meant she planted several seeds inside of it so she could use it for the right opportunity as the vines became to wrap around Romero's hand. Whistling to Kei he breaks free for a second so he could throw his sword to Neytiri as she was able to catch it.
"But because they were manipulated by bastards like you!"
Yelling at him in anger before dismembering his hand that was holding the scepter. Yelling in pain made the demons react and fly away from the outlaws as they took action in fighting the creatures, breaking free from Savanti's hold. She was about to grab it before getting kicked to the side leaving Harley and Ivy to catch her, looking over at the three. He grabbed the scepter with his left hand still able to use it.
"I've never been so proud of something I've made that came from me. Yet I'm even more pissed out that you hurt my girl."
Ivy telling Neytiri and towards Savanti as she focused her abilities to sprout vines from the ground attacking the demon ninjas and the time mutant. Though he was able to cut them down and attempts to attack them, only for Rocksteady and Rachel to come in delivering a combine punch interrupting his assault.
"Never thought I'd get teary eye punching something with family, especially with my future girl."
The rhino man telling his daughter which made her teary eyed about the compliment as they saw Savanti sending out an energy blast at them. Avoiding the attack, he didn't notice Glider using his ribbons to bind him to the ground. Leaving Frost bite to freeze half of his body so he couldn't move anymore, preparing to use the staff again he was arm locked by Bebop as the warthog kept him from breaking free.
"Give him the Foot treatment buddy!"
Telling his son to go all out as Kei rushed in front of Savanti to punch him numerous times in the face getting the mutant to lose focus. Taking the chance he break's free from the warthog's grip and backhands the two of them, leaving him to take the chance to use the scepter again. Only for Renet to struggle in taking it away from him, being tossed around and holding onto dear life. The distraction allowed Harley and Neytiri to go at him and leap into the air delivering a combined kick to the face. Collapsing on the ground dazed from the attack, the scepter fired a random shot at Harley that sent her to the others as they were lucky to catch her. Seeing how Savanti looked beaten, Renet was horrified at how the struggle had cracked the hourglass piece which fired the blast.
"He did something to the time scepter. The vines didn't damage the scepter, but Savanti's claws cracked the glass when he fired the blast. I can't fix it."
Taking a better look at the scepter as Neytiri looked behind to see a shocking sight. Harley, Ivy, Bebop and Rocksteady phasing slowly as they were being sent to a different time period. Neytiri was speechless at how she left her guard down and had both her mothers shot and now possibly being sent to another timeline. Walking over towards them, she lowered her head at what she let happened and possibly sending them somewhere that could kill them.
"This wasn't supposed to happen. We'd kick Savanti's ass and get the scepter back, then send you home without getting emotional. But I screwed up, I actually screwed up and got my mothers killed."
Sounding scared and upset at herself for what was happening to them as she collapsed on her knees about what she had done. Harley and Ivy watched at Neytiri losing her composure and falling on her knees, her friends saw their leader breaking down and letting out her emotions at what was happening.
"And because I killed you. I killed my friends, my fiancée. Even myself, guess it's a family trait. We fuck over people's lives without knowing it."
Continuing to blame herself and admitting to that what she's done has killed everyone in the room they were standing in. Beginning to cry at this revelation that she was like the two and sobbing her heart out for the mistake she made, yet instead of hearing them blaming her or killing everyone. She felt two hands on her shoulders which came from Harley and Ivy who didn't look upset with her, they laughed at the moment as well seeing their daughter making a mistake.
"Honey. None of us are leaders, we come up with plans and see what happens. While sometimes things go to shit that doesn't mean it's your fault, it just happens. But we always find a way to correct that mistake, even if it ends up horribly bad. We figure out how to fix it before the people we tolerate get hurt."
Ivy offering Neytiri words of wisdom for her since she's learned much of being a CEO on how to guide people both mentally and physically. As well realizing that every mistake can be fixed, even if it was a total disaster with no solution to the answer. Harley could understand it since she was the reason why they went to chase down the time sphere in the hopes of going back to that night and changing the offer Ivy was given.
"Plus us going somewhere doesn't mean will die, that's depressing. It's always exciting to go somewhere you won't, that's how I ended up in Arkham. That's how I met the love of my life, technically Joker but Ivy convinced me it was her. Besides the point that there's no way I'm dying, because I'm going stick around as an old hag to see you on your wedding day. And giving you an actual name that everyone will know you for."
Giving her hope about them surviving where they'd be sent to along that she'd be there for her and Kei's wedding day. The two hugged Neytiri in a parental embrace as it gave them the right moment to give her a proper name, meanwhile for Rachel. She was hugging Rocksteady hopping he'd be safe wherever he'd be teleported to.
"Renet's going fix the time scepter and get you all back home. Maybe even fix the whole calamity thing, that way you and mom can be there for my childhood."
Informing him about a chance her girlfriend would send them back to their timeline and stop the war from happening. Rocksteady didn't care as he was only comforting her as much as possible before he disappeared with the others. Meanwhile with Bebop and his kid, he decided to do something worth while as he dragged Kei over and the others so he could get a family photo.
"Get your phone out kid. Cause we're going take the most badass photo ever, and making sure that you know. Your old man knows what's important than just breaking shit, which is spending time with others. Along having a laugh, got it?"
Instructing Kei on what was important and expressing that he lights up along having a laugh once in a while. The warthog boy nodded before each of the groups took a photo of each other which made the teenagers laugh in the moment. Just as the photo was taken, Harley and the others quickly vanished out of the throne room leaving only the future outlaws and beaten Savanti to themselves. Taking a moment of silence for Neytiri to express the moment she shared with her parents, Frost bite was curious about something important.
"What was the name they wanted you to have?"
The shark hybrid asking her about the name they believe was right for her to have. Thinking about what they whispered to her, Neytiri noticed Savanti Romero coming from behind Glider about to kill him in an effort to deal a fatal blow to the team. Quickly moving fast, she took Kei's sword again to cut his head off in one chop, leaving the decapitated to collapse on the ground and his head to roll right over towards her feet.
"Lucy, Lucy Quinzel."
Telling her friends the name Harley and Ivy giving her that best described Neytiri, from the flower that had red-pink pedals from Ivy and sharing Harley's last name. The outlaws smiled for the name she was given and noticed the look on her face changing as she looked at Renet expressing a serious look on getting the time scepter fixed and sending their family back home, otherwise whatever timeline they would land could either kill them or learning about the war that destroyed Gotham and the twenty first century.
This chapter is for the passing of Arleen Sorrkin, the first Harley Quinn voice actress and inspiration for the character. This story as well everything related to the clown princess of crime wouldn't be here without Arleen's unique personality and humorous spirit. She'll always be remembered for bringing a wild card into the DC Universe and to fans across the world that needs a Harley in their lives.
