"Okay Suzumi-chan. I won't call you chan from now on." He said with amusement.

"But you just did." She looked at him like he did something horrible.

"No, I didn't Suzumi-chan." Kakashi feigned innocence.

"You just did it again." He was having fun messing with her. Having fun. It had been too long since the last time he had fun. He shouldn't let her get attached to him. He was cursed. Those people who had been closed to him had died. He couldn't let himself get attached to her or let her get attached to him. He didn't want her to die. She was just so cute and innocent.

"Anyway, what were you going to ask before me bugging in?" It was her question that brought him out of his depressing thoughts.

"I was going to ask, how did you know that I was in Anbu?"

"I will tell you if you promise not to yell at me?"

"I promise."

"Okay." She took a deep breath and, "Istolescrollsfromninjslibrary."

"Uh!?" He didn't understood a single word of what she said.

"I stole scrolls from ninja library." She looked at him sheepishly.

"You WHAT?!!"

"But I would put them back after reading them." Suzumi tried to explain hurriedly worried that he would get mad at her and tell the Hokage that she had been steeling things and from ninja library no less. Then she would be thrown in a prisoner for the rest of her life. Then she wouldn't ever be able to become a ninja.

"Did you were caught?" Kakashi's question broke her out of her worried thoughts.

"No."

"I see."

"Aren't you mad at me that I broke into the library and stole?" She asked in a worried tone scared that he was just messing with her.

"Why would I be?" Now he was confused. He was actually kind of proud of her. The security was tight in the ninja library. And for a civilian girl like her to be able to achieve a thing like that was really amazing.

"Being able to hide yourself from trained shinobi even if they are genin and chunin is a great feist to achieve. You should be proud of yourself." He gave her an eye smile.

She looked at him surprised. She hadn't expected that answer from him. She really thought he will be mad. But his answer did something funny in her stomach and she gave a genuine smile.
