Luna shot up from her bed, with her long red hair sticking to her face; glued to her cheek by the trail of dried saliva that trailed from her mouth. She groggily looked around seeing her Pokemon all sprawled out across the bed. She wiped her face with her forearm and stretched before heading towards the shower to get ready for the day.
Gilly was sitting at a table with Heidi in the lobby sipping their morning coffee when they saw a freshly dressed Luna walking up to them.
Gilly handed Luna a coffee she had bought for her, "Morning, Sleepy Head!"
"Morning! Sorry, I woke up sort of late... I ran into some trouble last night and didn't end up going to bed early this morning." replied Luna as she scratched the back of her head.
Gilly looked puzzled and a bit concerned, "Trouble? What happened? Is everything okay?"
Luna sat down next to Gilly and Heidi, took a sip from her coffee, and proceeded to tell them the events that occurred last night, omitting some of the lewder parts of what happened.
Gilly sat with her mouth ajar, "... Holy shit, Luna. I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

There was a sense of excitement in the air as people began crowding the streets, many street vendors were finishing setting up their pop-up stands.
"Wow, they set up fast!" Luna was amazed, staring at all the delicious-looking food stalls that now filled the sides of the road.
Gilly laughed, "It's raining flower petals and you still notice the food first!"
Luna looked around in sudden awe, she looked up to see thousands of scattered rose petals seemingly raining from the sky. They all gently floated down to the ground gracefully.
"Whoa! That's amazing! Where are they all coming from!?" Luna shouted excitedly as she stuck out her hand, letting a few rose petals land on her palm.
Gilly nudged her shoulder and pointed over to the groups of Roserades and Roselias that were spewing the petals into the sky with their flower appendages. The Pokemon seemed to have a fun time doing this as they watched some children dance and play in their rose petal "rain".
"This is so cool! I'm glad we were able to make it for this!" Luna smiled brightly.

Gilly rolled her eyes, "Come on Heidi, let's get this woman some food in her!"
The three of them hurried over to a newly open food stall to grab some breakfast. After they had finished eating, Luna carried a freshly made crepe over to the willow tree. The Midnight Lycanroc sat with her back against the base of the tree. She grew wary over the sudden presence and growled at the intruder that was moving past the low-hanging branches of the tree.
"You can keep growling, but then you won't get this delicious food!" Luna entered the underbrush of the tree, seemingly unphased by the Pokemon's threatening tone.
The Lycanroc seemed to shift to a non-challant attitude once she realized it was Luna. Not seeming to be angry or happy at the presence of the human, regardless of the food she had brought.
Luna tiptoed softly over to the Lycanroc. The Lycanroc rolled her eyes at her but was caught off guard when Luna plopped down right next to her, sitting shoulder to shoulder.
The Lycanroc gave a low growl, letting her discomfort be known.
"Hush up and eat this!" Luna said playfully as she handed over the cone-shaped crepe filled with sweet cream cheese, chopped-up Pokemon Poffins, and berries.
The Pokemon took the food in her hand and stared at it for a bit, it was clear she wanted to eat it. She glanced over at Luna who was seemingly waiting for her to give it a try and back at the delicious-looking crepe. But as the Pokemon stared down at the tasty-looking breakfast, a flood of emotions and past memories filled her mind. Memories of her previous trainer and how kind he was to her, memories of how they'd share meals just like this one, and then the memory of being left behind.
The Lycanroc let go of the food, letting it drop to the dirt beneath her.

Luna put on a happy face and hurried back over to Gilly and Heidi who were finishing up their breakfast.
"How'd it go?" asked Gilly.
"Could've been better, but I think I'm getting through to her."
"These things take time, everyone's different."
Luna sighs, "Yeah... I guess so."
Heidi pats Luna on the back.
Luna smiles, "Thanks, Heidi."
The three head off to explore the town, looking at the market vendors for new outfits and accessories.
After a few hours of exploring the town and enjoying the shopping spree, Luna and Gilly watch as crowds form at the sides of the road.
"What's going on?" Gilly asks a nearby woman.
"The Flower Parade is starting soon!" replied the woman.
"There's a parade!?" Luna shouted happily.
The woman smiled, "It's not as big as some of the city parades but the town's Pokemon are just beautiful, plain and simple!"
Luna grabbed Heidi and Gilly, dragging them into the crowd to get a better view.
The three didn't have to wait long as they saw a band followed by a large pink float coming down the street. Luna danced giddily as she watched the parade begin.
They watched as Roselia and Roserades' spewed their flower petals up into the sky as they walked by, The lively music filled the town square and many colorful and flower-covered floats filled the streets.
An hour later, it seemed the final float had passed through.
"That was incredible! We have to come back for next year's parade too!" Luna shook Gilly.
Gilly laughed, "Okay, okay! We will!"
Luna spotted a black and dark red float far behind the last float as the streets began to clear of people, "Oh wait. I guess that float was late?"
Gilly turned and looked down the road to see the same red and black float slowly moving along towards them, "Did their float break down or something, and they're just now getting here?"

The girls leaned on the metal gate, protecting people from falling into the street as they waited for the float to come down the street as a few people started to take notice as well and wait to see the float.

Luna looked across the flower-covered street to see Gilly running over to Heidi and giving her a high-five for winning her fight.
"Well, that works too!" Luna was relieved.
Casper soon returned to Luna's side alongside Slither.
Vivian shoved the knocked-out Machamp off of her as she stumbled back to her feet, "What the fuck!?"
"Boss! The cops got notified somehow, they're on the way here!" shouted a grunt as he loaded up his Pokemon into the large vehicle.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" shouted Vivian at the top of her lungs. She took a moment to breathe before shouting out, "Everyone, fall back! And to those of you whose Pokemon we've taken, I suggest you all rethink your way of life and how you treat your Pokemon! From now on, things are going to change for the better of Pokemon-kind!"
Suddenly all of the grunts and their Pokemon flood back into their "Float" and begin driving off. Some people are still lying naked in the streets while their Pokemon still try to mate with them.
Luna rushes over to Gilly and Heidi and hugs them both, "I'm so glad you two are okay!"
"Same here!" Gilly squeezes Luna back.
A few minutes later the Police showed up led by a single Ledian that led them to the crime scene.
"Aphid!" Luna shouted as she hugged her Pokemon tight. "You got the cops!? Way to go!" Luna smiled, quite impressed with the Pokemon.
The Police were completely confused as they arrived at the scene, tens of people had their Pokemon stolen while others were half naked.
Luna and Gilly did their best to explain their side of the story to the police when they approached them.
A few hours later, the girls and their Pokemon all ended up at the town square fountain, eating some sandwiches they'd bought from a vendor before he closed up for the day.
Lycanroc sat on the opposite side of the Fountain as she ate her sandwich.
Luna walked up to the Pokemon and sat next to her, just like she did this morning.
The Lycanroc looked away again, but this time she felt a bit guilty for growling at Luna earlier in the day.
"Hey..." Luna spoke softly, "I know it must be hard being here alone... They say that your trainer left you here. I'm sorry if that's true. I'm sure that you trusted them, and when they abandoned you... They betrayed that trust."
The Lycanroc stared down at her sandwich as she listened.
"You saved me twice now, nobody forced you or made you do it. You did it because you're a good person, you've got a bigger heart than you like to let show."
Luna leans over and kisses the Pokemon on her forehead. Luna laughs as the Pokemon realizes Luna has kissed her and shakes off the kiss from her head.
"Thank you. Seriously." Says Luna, "And I want you to come with me."
The Lycanroc looked at Luna questionably.
"I don't know if you'll like how I can get too close or energetic sometimes. And I don't know if I'll like how distant you'd want to be or how angry you might get. But I do know that I want to try and travel with you. You don't have to battle if you don't want to, but I'd just like to travel with you... I can't help but feel like I was supposed to meet you. Y'know? Like even though bad things had to happen for you to help me, I'm glad those bad things DID happen so that I got to know you more."
The Lycanroc blushed as she heard this.
"And you can leave the group anytime you want, no strings attached. But I promise you, if you do decide to join, I will always do my best to be your friend. And I will never, ever, abandon you."
Luna felt a bit embarrassed after getting all of that off of her chest, but the sudden furry feeling of Lycanroc's head on her shoulder reassured her that she did the right thing by telling the Pokemon how she felt.
Casper fluttered over and rested gently in Luna's lap as well. Slither and Aphid, getting jealous too, sneaked over. Slither rested against her arm while Aphid sat at her feet.
Luna sat silently as the sun began to set, she couldn't help but feel thankful for all the amazing Pokemon that had come into her life. She knew more than ever, that she didn't have to prove her love for them. She would always love them, plain and simple.
