For a brief moment, time seems to slow down and Rafel begins to enjoy the sight before him, Aincrad was anything but organized because of everything that has happened.

For a long time, it felt as if nothing anyone did would be okay if it wasn't the people from the higher floors trying to escape the monsters or changing environments of the mountain, it was the starving and frightened people outside of it.

Then there were we monsters that were trying to eat, kill, or breed with everything else including each other.

For a long time, it felt as if they would never be able to stop fighting, but as time passed things began to calm down.

The area around the jail had become a city out of necessity and the jail had somehow become a castle where everyone important lived.

A strange border had formed outside of Aincrad, there was now a wall made of zombies that protected the western kingdoms from invaders, while the villages and towns that sprung up over the years lived behind walls that were made of rock and dirt.

After Aincrad had been split in half he and the rest of the Western Players had agreed to take in all of the kids in the orphanage because it wasn't as if they had a lot to do after all of the fighting had ended.

So with nothing else to do, everyone began to build their homes and as time passed the people who had managed to enter the mountain and those who were already in it began to start their businesses.

The western half of Aincrad had somehow become a mixture of everything, a person could find a Cristian Church in one village only to leave it and find a muslim mosque or a Shrine that belonged to one of the Asian religions.

Those things alone caused him and everyone else an endless amount of headaches.

One group wanted to allow slavery, while another wanted to ban it and another believed that only certain people should be slaves, while everyone else should remain free.

In the end, all of the Guild Masters and leaders made a public announcement, the rest of the world could do whatever it pleased but inside Aincrad no one would be allowed to have slaves.

their declaration caused a lot of people to protest and some even went as far as to threaten him and everyone else with war and some even went as far as to threaten him and the rest of the players.

Everyone ignored these people's words until someone said that they should turn the players into slaves and take Aincrad for themselves, needless to say, that person didn't live more than a second after saying that.

Everyone who had seen how easily the players could kill them stopped making some noise and either left Aincrad or let their slaves go free.

Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there and it was because there had been so many problems that Rafael couldn't help but enjoy watching the kids play with each other.

Rafael couldn't help but feel himself growing attached to the orphans.

Granted none of them were related to him, but it was knowing that as long as he and the rest of the older players did what they were doing then the kids could be kids for as long as they had to.

Rafael was forced to stop looking at the peaceful sight when his help screen began to beep and he knew that he was now forced to attend another meeting.

In his opinion, this meeting was just like the rest that he had been forced to attend, and by that, he meant that he believed it to be completely pointless.

He was forced to meet with several men and women who wanted him to order everyone to dress a certain way, and that he should make it illegal for people to eat certain animals.

The problem with that was that he didn't agree with them at all.

He didn't care what people wore or didn't wear, as long as they weren't naked in front of children, adults were responsible for their actions and the consequences of those actions.

And if people wanted to eat something, who was he to stop them?

In his opinion as long as the person could eat whatever they wanted, as long as they weren't a cannibal.

Rafael took one last look at the orphans playing, he took a deep breath and walked out of the metal gate that was the main entrance to the orphanage.

The sounds of animals and merchants that were trying to sell their products assaulted his ears, he could smell the different spices, liquors, and even food that was being cooked.

As he walked he passed several men and women who were modeling the clothes from their home countries to people from other kingdoms, who happily paid whatever the merchants were charging.

He walked passed one of the many bath houses and tea houses that the samurai women that he had taken under his protection had started and unsurprisingly both the bath houses and tea houses were a huge success.

Children with bags that were either filled with coins or goods ran past him with smiles on their faces.

Sometimes he passed entire families who bowed to him and he stopped to return the greeting before he continued to walk to where he was going.

The village had grown and sometimes it felt as if it had become a large town or a city, who knew perhaps it had.

He finally arrived at his destination and Rafael couldn't help but let out a breath filled with defeat.

he didn't like the mansion, not because it was luxurious, but because it was too big.

He was a single man that for nearly two years lived alone in a place that had nearly a dozen rooms, what did he need some space for?

But the people argued that their rulers needed to have a luxurious house and they forced him and the rest of the Elder Players to have these things.

Sure everyone dreams of having a mansion until it becomes dark and the entire place becomes silent, then the dream becomes a nightmare.
