Hello, my name is Zxr0, pronounced Zero. The regular Zero was already taken, so I tried a bunch of combinations to come up with that. Anyway! This is my first fan fiction; I've seen many others do it and liked the way they had control over their own series, doing whatever they wanted. I wanted to try it out. The first few chapters will be like a background chapter, telling you the backstory of certain things. After that, the main story will begin. Secondly, my Naruto won't be crazy OP, but he will be powerful. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the first chapter of my series.

WARNING: THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS ARE SHORT DUE TO ME EXPLAINING THE BACKSTORY AND NOT WANTING IT ALL INTO ONE CHAPTER

Chapter 0.

"Defeat and Grief: The Hardships of War"

Chaos. That was the only word that could describe the events taking place in this rather small, hidden village far away from outsiders. A tall and battle-hardened figure stood atop the tallest building, overlooking the war within his village. A flash appeared a distance away from him; the man's gaze fell upon the other figure. No other than the Third Raikage stood across from him, his signature lightning flaring from his body.

"Hiroshi, Namikaze," the Third Raikage called the man's name. Hiroshi's gaze fell upon the man with a serious stare. "The head of the infamous Namikaze clan, known for your dark red lightning kekkai genkai." The Raikage stated. "A kekkai genkai so powerful it's being compared to the likes of the Uchiha and Senju, truly a force to be reckoned with." The Raikage finished. Hiroshi growled lowly. "The third Raikage himself, I didn't think you'd be here." Hiroshi said. "Your clan's strength has proven to be very powerful; I had to come handle you personally… After all, nobody else could handle the child of Raijin, the thunder god." The Raikage stated.

Hiroshi's yellow spiky hair flowed down to his lower back; his body was toned perfectly for battle. A massive sword rested on his back, while he wore gear for battle. Hiroshi growled more, unable to hold back his anger. "You attacked and waged war on the Namikaze Clan. For what? I know not." Hiroshi stated darkly. The famous dark red lightning crackled around his body as the weather above turned dark and cloudy. Hiroshi unsheathed his sword, getting into position to battle. "For your actions, you will pay dearly," Hiroshi stated. The Third Raikage smirked, clearly ready for the battle ahead of him. Hiroshi's killer intent leaked out full force, and even the people below fighting could barely handle it. "Now... feel the wrath from the God of Lightning!" Hiroshi growled as he flashed away in a bolt of red lightning, clashing with the Third Raikage.

Elsewhere

A young blonde woman swiftly moved through the trees. Her blonde hair flowed to her mid-back as she wore a kimono and flip flops; clearly not ready for the current situation. Accompanied by three others and a younger boy, the screams and cries of battle sounded out behind the group, slowly fading out the farther they got. "Lady Hanako," a man to the left called to her. Hanako looked over to the man, worry written across her face. "If we make it to the border of the Land of Fire, we should be safe." Hanako nodded. "I'm sure the Hidden Leaf Village will take us in." Hanako assured the rest. "Big brother Hiroshi should be right behind us after he wins the war," Hanako said. "Are you sure he'll win?" a man close behind her asked.

"Shut up!" Hanako yelled, "Big Brother Hiroshi never loses in battle." Hanako stated proudly, the group fell silent, all knowing the truth of the matter. "And he won't start now," Hanako said her voice fading a bit towards the end. Honestly, she didn't want to believe it; if big Brother dies, I don't know what I'd do, she thought, a bit sadly. "You alright, Akio?" Hanako asked the younger boy in the group. The young blonde boy nodded slowly. Hanako frowned, sensing the worry in the boy. "Don't worry, it'll be okay. We're going somewhere else until Big brother Hiroshi catches up," Hanako assured the boy.

The Moon light shined bright as the group made good distance. " Hanatsuri" Hanako called the woman's name, the blonde woman wore glasses and carried a book with her, looking almost like a librarian. Hanatsuri turned to Hanako with a questioning look, "How long would it take to reach Konoha if we keep this pace?" Hanako questioned. Hanatsuri went quiet for a moment before speaking, "About a day and a half Lady Hanako" Hanatsuri estimated, Hanako nodded actually pleased by the good news.

Excellent, without your intelligence we would be clueless," Hanako praised. The Hanatsuri pushed up her glasses with a smile, "I don't deserve such praise." A thud sounded out as the group turned to the sound. They saw Hanatsuri's lifeless corpse laying on the ground with her head a few feet away from her. Hanako and the rest of the group stood in shock at the scene. "Hanatsuri!" Akio cried out, tears filled his eyes as he hurried to the girl. "Akio, wait!" Hanako screamed as she pulled him back. Just in time, as a katana cleaved through the air, barely missing Akio's neck.

A sigh was heard before a man stepped out from the shadows. "You got lucky kid, I was planning to take out the two weakest before getting to business," the man stated. The man stood lazily near a tree; his shaggy hair flowed wildly in the wind. He wore a simple Japanese robe with a katana in hand, overall appearing pretty scrawny. Akio still screamed as Hanako tried to calm him down. The two men in the group stepped up. "Ichiro, Jiro," Hanako said lowly. The burly one of the two chuckled, "Don't worry, Lady Hanako, we'll take care of this one." Ichiro reassured the other blonde. Hanako looked worried as Akio still yelled about Hanatsuri.

Ichiro and Jiro, yes I've heard much about you two," the man said with a thoughtful expression. "Ah, yes, the Thunder Twins of the Namikaze, truly a pleasure to meet you." The man stated. "Our reputation precedes us; what is yours?" Jiro, the smaller of the two, asked. "Name's Dodai," the man stated, introducing himself. Hanako froze upon hearing the name 'Dodai?' the assistant to the Third Raikage! she thought in disbelief.

'How bad is our luck?!?!??!!! why is Someone who can rival the third Hokage after us?!' Hanako panicked. As if hearing her out loud Dodai spoke "Sorry, nothing personal just following orders, and the orders say no escapees" Dodai informed the group.

"1,000 Volts." Dodai looked over to Ichiro whose dark red lightning cackled ferociously around his body. "Seems we shouldn't take this lightly, brother," Ichiro said, getting into a battle stance. Jiro's dark red lightning cackled also, following his brother. "Lady Hanako, take Aiko and run; this battle will be troublesome," Jiro ordered. Hanako stood up slowly. "I can't just leave you two, I have to help in some way!" Hanako proclaimed. "Think about Aiko, Lady Hanako," Ichiro stated, Hanako looked down at the younger blonde. He wasn't trying to get free like before and go to Hanatsuri; he was trembling and sobbing.

"He has just seen his comrade die, protect your younger brother, we will be Okay" Jiro Stated, Hanako turned away before grabbing Aiko and moving swiftly through the trees. Tears dropped as balled up her fists 'Oh Kami why!?, I'm losing everyone I care abt to this stupid war' Hanako thought in pain.

With the twins

Dodai flashed away as Jiro clashed with him, "Your battle is with us," Jiro stated, clicking his tongue visibly annoyed. Dodai ducked under a well-placed kick from the other twin, Ichiro, as he leapt back. Jiro sped through hand signs, saying, "Inazuma: Electric Domain." Jiro's infamous red chakra crackled wildly around his body before shooting out in all directions. A blast of the dark red chakra erupted, enveloping everyone inside, almost like a cage.

"This is our territory; your fate has already been sealed, Dodai," Jiro stated proudly. Red lightning struck the ground within the cage, causing Dodai's eyes to widen. He turned around just in time to block a punch, but it still sent him flying. The twin's physical attributes had been boosted by the red chakra. Dodai hit the cage with massive force, yelling out in pain as the cage electrified him. Thunder from above then hit the ground, and Jiro flashed with it, delivering a devastating punch to Dodai's gut.

Dodai fell to the ground before getting up quickly and kicking towards Jiro. Jiro blocked as he sent another punch to Dodai's face; Dodai slipped to the left as he spun while bringing out his katana. Dodai plunged the katana into Jiro, followed by a kick to the head. The katana was lodged in Jiro, who looked visibly confused. A red lightning explosion sounded out as Dodai got sent flying once more. "A lightning clone," Dodai said. He put his katana in front of him as Ichiro flashed above the airborne man. Ichiro roared, his fist raised "This is for the Namikaze!" Ichiro yelled as he punched Dodai to the ground.

Although the man blocked, he still hit the ground with enough force to shatter it as he quickly got up and flipped away. Dodai breathed heavily as Ichiro landed beside his brother. "You two are proving quite troublesome," Dodai stated, wiping blood from his mouth. Dodai sheathed his sword as he sped through hand signs. "Raiton: Lightning Dragon Jutsu!" Dodai yelled out as electricity began to bolt everywhere before a massive Lightning Dragon roared towards the twins. The two twins looked at each other with a nod before Ichiro went through hand signs. "Inazuma: Beams of Judgment!" Ichiro called out as two balls of red electricity formed beside him before shooting beams of thunder towards the lightning dragon. The two jutsus clashed as both tried to gain the upper hand on the other.

Dodai grabbed a kick from Jiro just in time; he elbowed the twin in the face. Jiro held his nose as Dodai spun around and kicked him away. Jiro went to the ground, going for a leg kick. Dodai jumped up slightly as he delivered a kick of his own towards Jiro's face. At that moment, the electric cage thundered down beside the airborne Dodai. Suddenly, Jiro disappeared before reappearing beside Dodai. Dodai looked confused as Jiro slashed his chest with a kunai before spinning and kicking him away.

Dodai skidded across the ground as he smelled something burning. "Fuck," Dodai thought before a loud explosion sounded out, making Dodai fly away. Thunder flashed in the sky as Ichiro appeared below him. He pulled his fist back before heaving it into the man's back, sending him higher in the air. Another flash of thunder from the sky was seen as now Ichiro was above Dodai. Ichiro's legs flew through the air at top speed, trying to take Dodai's head off. Blood suddenly splattered as Ichiro felt something off; the two fell to the ground as Dodai landed safely.

A chuckle was heard; "I finally figured your little trick out," Dodai said, looking at the twins. Jiro yelled in agony as one of his right arm was on the ground beside him. "Brother!" Ichiro called out as he flashed to his twin brother. "Never take your eyes off your opponent," Dodai said darkly as he cleaved his katana through the air, slicing Ichiro's throat. A gargling sound was heard as Jiro stared at his brother in horror. Ichiro fell to the ground, trying to gasp for air. "You two did a number on me," Dodai said as he stood up straight. "I might've died if I didn't figure out this technique." The man stated as he made his way over to the other twin.

"A pity really," Dodai said as he watched the cutting of the flesh. He heard it being cut off. "I was hoping you'd still put up a fight." Dodai turned and looked at him. "I can't send those other two anywhere; they got away." Dodai sighed. "The Lord Third is going to kill me."

With Hanako and Aiko

Hanako turned around as she saw the Red Lightning cage of the Namikaze fall. Her eyes widened a bit. "Don't tell me..." Hanako said in disbelief. "Not Ichiro and Jiro," Aiko said lowly. Hanako turned to Aiko. "C-Cmon Aiko, we can't stop." Hanako said, her voice trembling. She was determined. Aiko looked up at her, seeing tears falling down her cheeks. "They'd want us to live on," Hanako told the boy, trying to keep her composure. The two rushed off into the night.

With the third Raikage

A bloodied Hiroshi stood across from the Third Raikage, whose wounds were also as bad. "As I predicted, your clan has become too dangerous," the Raikage stated. Hiroshi looked shocked; his blonde hair waved in the night air. "Dangerous?" he asked, his voice cracking. "Is that the reason you waged war on the Namikaze clan, because you think we're dangerous?" Hiroshi barked, his chakra flaring. "Your clan has become too powerful, Hiroshi," the Raikage informed him.

Hiroshi growled, "The Namikaze clan is a peaceful clan!" Hiroshi yelled enraged, "You pose too much of a threat, as do the Uzumaki." The man stated. Red Thunder surrounded him everywhere, even Hiroshi's eyes glowed a menacing dark red. "Inazuma Secret Technique: Thunder Gods Fury!" Hiroshi roared as a blast of red lightning blasted from his body, uprooting houses and trees, killing others in the process. The Raikage's agonizing screams were heard as after a few seconds, everything stopped. Hiroshi collapsed to his knees, blood coming out of his mouth. "Damn, I couldn't finish it..." Hiroshi said as he heard footsteps coming closer. "You fought hard, Hiroshi Namikaze," Dodai said as he unsheathed his blade, "Where did you come from?" Hiroshi asked as he spat out more blood.

That is a good question; even I don't know the answer to it." Dodai replied in his usual lazy monotone voice. "You managed to knock out Lord Third." Dodai stated, commending his enemy. "Truly splendid, I hate to see someone as strong as you go." Dodai explained with a sigh. He then placed his katana on top of Hiroshi's head. "Goodbye, Thunder God of the Namikaze." Dodai finished as a slash was heard.

End Chapter

I know these first few chapters are shorter than the future ones, but they're just explaining the events leading up to the meeting between Naruto and Sasuke. The next chapter should be the same length as these.

Also I need a little help, if you have any suggestions for Moves for the Namikaze clan please comment them, or If you have a name for the Kekkai Genkai that too, I Call it Inazuma for the Jutsu but it can still be called something else.

if you didn't notice The Third Raikage grew weary of the strength of the Namikaze and eradicated them, much like the Uzumaki clan.
