Another Kingdom Hearts fic take that I've been wanting to do. I'm able to boost myself up again to try to make this happen. Thus, this is the revival of the Kingdom Hearts story starring both Sora and Shiro. The only difference is...Sora is a cartoon just like his chaotic twin sister.
This story tells the tale of two little cartoons, a bouncy little mouse, and a cheeky little rabbit, finding themselves in a world of...normality. Taken in by Riku, and a wonderous shopkeeper, these two are made a stain upon this world as...the chaotic duo.
But with the destruction of Destiny Islands, Sora has claimed the Kingdom Key as his own...but instead of appearing in the Dark Realm, its counterpart, the Kingdom Key - D fell into the hands...or gloves of another one, chosen in darkness, Shiro. And now it falls to the Keys of Light, Darkness, and the Between to seal the Final Door before more worlds fall into chaos.
Another Mass crossover fix, the same as A New Destiny, starring Toon Sora and Shiro.

"I've been having these weird thoughts, lately..."
Like is any of this for real or not...?
"None of this…makes sense to either of us…"
Our story begins in a pitch-black abyss. Not a single soul in line of sight. Not a single cloud, or a single sun. The only in this deep abyss is darkness. Save...for two figure.
A rabbit….and a mouse. Two little creatures both with cream fur…one of which fuzzier than the other.
The rabbit wears nothing more than a black shirt, a green skirt with heart patterns, and green. Atop her head is a green skull bow, and finishing her attire is a staple of fashion from his kind – pristine-white gloves. Unlike her brother, she also has white fur covering her face
The mouse? He prefers to wear the same identical dress as his twin sister. Only his skirt is a bright red color, and his sneakers sparkle in a bright yellow. On top of this, his fur is much…MUCH spikier than Shiro's.
The two little creatures both have big eyes. The mouse's eyes, a shimmering ocean blue, while the rabbit's a shimmering crimson.
They both opened their eyes, finding themselves facing nothing more than a pitch-black abyss. Before the little creatures could even react, their descent through the abyss was put to a halt…when they both fell into two separate chairs.
"Well now, it seems our guests has finally arrived." A voice says within the darkness.
Flash!
Before the toons could once again react, spotlights soon shined from the darkness, revealing the toons to be atop a stained-glass platform, shimmering in a majestic sapphire. Starring with such a giddy smile…is a man, in front of them.
The man had a single bulging eye, thinning white hair, a long nose, and a mischievous grin on his face. The man gazes upon the little toons in front of him.
"Sora, Shiro…welcome to the Velvet Room." The two only look at each other in confusion.
"The…Velvet Room?" They both asked, softly.
"Indeed." Another voice chimes in. With the click-clack of her heeled boots walking amongst the sapphire glass, a tall and slender woman steps out of the darkness and walked to the man's side.
A woman with white hair and yellow eyes; adorned in a blue dress, blue gloves, and blue boots. In her gloved hands…a book. The two could only look at each other.
"So uhhh…wanna take a bet on who's dreaming, here?" The mouse named Sora asks his sister.
"If it's you, you've got impeccable taste in big noses." The rabbit named Shiro says, smugly. Said big-nosed man could only chuckle before continuing.
"My name is Igor. Delighted to make your acquaintance." The hunched man bows as he motions to the woman by his side. "And this is Elizabeth. Like myself, she is a residence here."
"We've been expecting you two." The woman simply says. The toons simply blinks before Sora had one thing in mind in mind:
"Well, that's not really the…'Who're You' answer I was expectin' to get. But whatever we did wrong...Shiro started it." Sora explains making Shiro look wide-eyed.
"HEY! HEY…low blow, bro. I've only broke a few bones, ONCE….this morning!" Shiro says quickly.
"Wowwie…that's a new record!" Sora cheered as he threw confetti in the air. The hunched man simply chuckles.
"You are in no means any trouble, my friends. You see, this realm exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. A room that only exists to those who are bound by a…contract." Igor explains.
"Contract? But I never signed up for anything….Least not that I know of." Shiro interjects…before looking to Sora.
"WHATTAYA LOOKIN' AT ME FOR?!" Sora yells out.
"Ah, but your fates has been chosen. There is much in store for the both of you, and it falls to us to guide you." Igor explains. The two looked at each other…and then to the audience.
"You all know where this is going." They both say in unison.
"A perilous journey already awaits you. No matter what, fate will find its way to you. But even then…you still have a choice to forge your own path throughout this journey." Elizabeth explains.
Before Shiro could even ask any more questions, Igor simply waved his hand. Three weapons of power suddenly appeared before the cream rabbit.
A sword. Its blade shines a glistening silver hue, while the hilt and glows a majestic blue glow. A shining yellow gem gleams at the center of the hilt.
A blue staff with a green hilt, radiating with magical energy. The shaft is a circle with two smaller circles resting on top, forming two circular ears.
At last, a shield. The rim of the shield shimmers in sparkling gold, while there seems to be a blue interior, guarded by the big gold initials of WB.
The Power of the Warrior...invincible courage...a sword of terrible destruction...
The Power of the Mystic...inner strength...a staff of wonder and ruin...
The Power of the Guardian...kindness to aid friends...a shield to repel all...
"Power sleeps within the both of you. If you give it form, it will give you strength. Choose wisely~" Igor muses, giddily. Almost as if he knew what they was going to pick. Nonetheless, their choices were immediate.
"Sooooo….I go for the sword, you go for the staff?" Sora asks Shiro. The rabbit only smirks.
"You know me so well~" Shiro sings.
For the longest time, despite being just as chaotic as his sister, Sora has often idolized the knights & heroes he sees in cartoons, and naturally, he dreams of being just like them. He dreams of setting tricks & traps at the villains of the story, and save his fair Princess.
Meanwhile, Shiro has always adored the idea of using Magic. There are many…wacky things a toon can do. Just imagine how much chaos would ensue when adding the use of Magic into the mix.
"Ahhh~ The Power of the Warrior AND the Mystic. Such marvelous choices." Igor says giddily as they both gripped their weapons, tightly. And yet…they can both feel such a powerful SURGE of Magical Energy coursing through their pristine-white gloves.
"Is this the power you seek? These powers will shape your destiny." Elizabeth warns.
"WELL, if my path involves settin' shit on fire with my MIND along with my Gags, then BRING IT ON!" Shiro says determinedly.
"And if MY destiny involves choppin' down baddies and dragons with this cool sword, like I wanted to, then who am I to ignore it?" Sora say, determinedly. Igor gave a slight chuckle.
"That's why I've grown fond of you and your kin. You all dance around the spectrum of unpredictability; wild cards, if you may. Always so entertaining when the game changes." Igor muses. "Unfortunately, even wild cards meet their ends evidently." With a wave of his hand, Igor simply made the shield disappear.
"Which is why you are here with us." Elizabeth speaks up. "To help you fend for yourself for the dangers that await."
"What kinda dangers are we talkin?" Sora asks.
"These, for example," Elizabeth replies when suddenly, a symbol levitates from out of her book. A symbol on the shape of a black heart…with a blood-red and thorny X through it.
That said symbol projected out of Elizabeth's book and sent to the edge of the platform behind Shiro. The rabbit's long ears soon picked up sounds forming behind them
They both turned around to see the symbol sinking to the ground and in its place…a creature. A shadowy creature with antennas, and eyes glowing bright gold. Bright enough to light a tunnel.
"There will come a time when you encounter these creatures. What will you do, I wonder?" Igor asks in intrigue. Sora tilts his head in intrigue while Shiro simply got up from her seat and approached the creature.
They both are quite small…in fact the same size as each other.
"Looks a lil' harmless to me. You sure you ain't got 'em mixed up, Igo-woah." Shiro starts, but before she finished the shadow tried to try to swiftly claw her, to which she got out of the way.
"Tried to pull a fast one on me, eh?" Shiro asks, cockily.
"Looks can be deceiving, my friends. You of all people should know this~" Igor muses. Igor seems to know more about the toons than the toons themselves.
Soon, Sora got up from his seat, as well and simply approached the creature. The confused little mouse tilts his head in confusion.
"Kinda reminds me of a big ol' ant." Sora asks obliviously as the Shadow then raised a claw at the boy. Soon he took something from his pockets….
It was a COMICALLY GIGANTIC FLY SWATTER.
"Y'think maybe this'll help?" Sora obliviously asked. The Shadow's entire body drooped, and its eyes grew big upon gazing at the size of the fly swatter. Before it could react…
SPLAT!
The mouse simply squashed it like the bug it is. Leaving a goopy black glop dripping down the toon's swatter.
"Eeeeeew…" Shiro cringed.
"No different than any other bug, that's for sure." Sora shrugged. Suddenly, the toons' ears twitched. More were on the way.
"Be on your guard. These creatures come in groups. Remember this." Elizabeth cautioned as three more Shadows appeared, surrounding the toons.
"Now, I'm all for pickin' fights, but…it doesn't look like blunt force trauma's gonna get these bug things outta our hair." Shiro says as Sora scratches his sister's cream fur…only to find a Toon flea nipping on his gloved finger as if it was a literal dinner entrée.
"Man, you REALLY need to clean your fur. No wonder it's all…messy & fuzzy." Sora says as he flicks the Toon flea away.
"As opposed to my LOVING brother who's a walking, talking cactus?" Shiro asks, sarcastically. Sora simply paused…before simply saying:
"Touche~" Sora muses as Igor continues.
"Now Sora, Shiro, you both felt the Magic brimming within your weapons, yes?" Igor asks. The two toons looked at each other, confusedly.
"Did you?" Shiro asked.
"My sword did feel all..,tingly and sparkly. How 'bout, you?" Sora asks.
"Definitely felt the same way with my staff." Shiro replies. Igor smiles at their remark.
"Excellent. Now, I feel it is time to unleash the power within the both of you. Let us start with you, Shiro." Igor replies as the rabbit gazed upon her staff.
"Okie-dokie, then! What am I startin' with?" Shiro asks as the Shadows crept forward.
"Start with the basic of elements, Fire." Elizabeth replies. "Concentrate. Let all emotions form into passion. Picture a small flame, and call the mana within you to make that flame form into a billowing flame."
"Sounds like a buncha gibberish, to me…" Sora pipes up.
"I dunno about you, Sora, but when you've got a choice between understandin' gibberish or end up a scratching post, y'learn to try anything once! Let's do it!" Shiro replies back with such wit as she… concentrates.
She closed her eyes, her thoughts at halt, and she focuses. Deep, deep within her, hoping something would stir. All meanwhile, the Shadows themselves finally stirred and charged at the rabbit.
Soon enough, the rabbit felt something. A warm sensation dancing in front of her cream fur. She opened her eyes to see her a single flame crawling around her staff.
"Oooooooh~" Sora says in awe as Igor smiles with satisfaction. Soon, the shadows pounced…and the rabbit casts her spell.
"FIRE!" Shiro calls out as she projects 3 balls of fire at three of the Shadows. She defeated three of them…but there are only 6 of them left.
"Hmm…still don't think it'll be enough." Shiro ponders.
"OOOH! OOH! THROW ME IN THE RING, COACH! I'VE GOT AN IDEA!" Sora calls out as everyone turned to the mouse. He then looks to Igor with anticipation.
"Hey, Igor! Thinkin' what I'm thinkin?'" Sora asks with anticipation. Igor chuckles.
"You caught on well, Sora. Shiro, cast your fire at Sora's blade." Igor requests as Sora held his blade up high with anticipation. Shiro looks to her twin in confusion.
"Hope I ain't melting your blade, bud." Shiro says as she projects another fireball at Sora's sword.
At first the rabbit thought she'd be melting the mouse's blade…but the opposite has happened. Instead, the fire crawls around the toon's blade…until it then absorbs itself, forming a flaming hue around the sword.
"FIREBLADE!" Sora calls out, excitedly. Shiro looks in surprise as the Shadows began to make their move.
"LOOK OUT!" Sora calls out as he was quick to LITERALLY spin into battle as if he was a mini tornado. Before Shiro could even react, she took notice of how Sora was slicing down the remaining Shadows at a quick speed, leaving a trail of ash in his wake.
Soon enough, the tornado finally stopped as a now swirly-eyed Sora tumbled and stumbled dizzily around the platform.
"Hehhehehe, I wanna do that again!" Sora giggles before tumbling to the ground. Igor and Elizabeth clapped as the twin's chaotic synergy…as they notice that all of the Shadows were gone.
"Your creativity shows no bound, toons. One day, Sora, you may truly excel at becoming the MIGHTIEST of Warriors." Igor says in admiration to the dizzy toon.
"And you, Shiro? A POWERFUL and ferocious Wizard." Elizabeth says in admiration.
"What can I say? Creativity's all apart of the job description." Shiro says as she helped the dizzy Sora up.
"And zaniness, too! All that matters to us is having fun!" Sora says, finally regaining his composure. Shiro, nods.
"Couldn't agree more, bro." Shiro says as the two toons high-fived (or foured) each other.
"I assure you, you'll most assuredly have…fun, on your journey. But for now," Igor says as he waved his arm across the table again. This time appearing are two crystal vials. Both of which with a different colored liquid. One blue…and one green.
The two looked at the green bubbling liquid in concern.
"Eheheh…I think I've seen enough bubbling green liquids to know that this'll probably be the one thing that'll kill us." Sora says, nervously.
"A bubbling green liquid with a chance of killing us…where have I heard that one before?" Shiro says to the audience.
"You need not worry. These are provisions that you will find throughout your journey. Drink the green one; it will replenish your health." Elizabeth instructed.
"Need it, Shiro?" Sora asks as she simply shook his head.
"Ain't like we're hurt or anything. How 'bout you?" Shiro asks.
"Still a bit woozy, but c'mon! We both get head injuries bigger than that!" Sora says as he simply placed it in a red leather bag with a shimmering silver crown on it. Sora's 'Gag Bag' as they call it. Shiro then grabbed the blue potion.
"Aaaand what's this do?" Shiro asks.
"Ether. A potion used to revitalize your Mana." Elizabeth replies.
"Mana?" Sora asks.
"Magical Energy, my dears. It stirs deep within you, within me, within all of us. It is how we all can use Magic. Casting powerful spells be it beautiful…or frightening. Though it depends if you wish to…hone your Mana to its full potential." Igor explains. Sora simply looks at his sister.
"WELP! You're the Magic buff, here!" He says happily to his toony twin. Shiro looks at him, confusedly.
"What, ain't you gonna have a sip?" Shiro asks.
"Ah, what'll I need it for, when I've got this!" Sora says cockily as he spins his shimmering sword on the tip of his gloved fingers. Shiro simply giggles.
"You're WAY too hyper, y'know that, right?" Shiro asks.
"Perks of bein' a mouse!" Sora says happily as he took from his own Gag Bag a big ol' block of cheese…to which he nibbles on it like the mouse he is.
"You and your animal instincts, I swear." Shiro says. On the same breath…she literally took from HER Gag Bag a shimmering orange carrot, to which she eats it up like the rabbit she is.
"Well?" Elizabeth asks, already losing patience with these tiny toons.
"Well, what's a nice ol' carrot without something to drink it with? To which I say…BOTTOMS UP!" Shiro cheers as she drinks the Ether in one gulp.
"Whohohoho…" Immediately, the rabbit felt a surge of magical energy flow right back through her. As if she was…revitalized. "That's some good stuff! Feels like I can cast a shit ton of spells now!"
"And I'M ready to bash some shadow heads in!" Sora says determinedly.
"Glad to know that you're both ready for action…because I've quite a…skillful attack that requires both your cooperation, when the time is right." Igor explains.
"How'll we know when the time's right?" Sora asks.
"You'll know soon enough." Elizabeth assures as she raised her book up. "But for now…" Three pages projected out from her book. All of them cast out to surround the toons. Soon these pages formed into images.
A sandy-haired boy with clean green eyes. He was wearing a shirtless bright yellow vest, and jet-black jeans, with one uneven hole, and yellow sandals. The boy seems to be carrying some sort of...bright red stick. Tidus.
A red-haired boy wearing a bandana. A boy who is no doubt older than Tidus. The 15-year-old was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt, and bright yellow baggy pants with x shaped insignia on the knees, and bright green sandals. Wakka
And a brown-haired girl with glimmering green eyes, the same age as Tidus. The girl was wearing a bright yellow dress and brown sandals while holding a jump rope in her hand. Selphie.
All of them are Sora & Shiro's friends.
"Go on. They all wish to speak to you. Answer honestly, now~" Igor muses. The cream-furred toons simply gazed at the towering humans. Their instincts tell them to speak to the closest near them: Selphie.
"What's most important to you?" Selphie asks the creature.
"Friendship!" Sora answers, enthusiastically.
"Bein' number one." Shiro answers, smugly. Not even a shread of doubt in either of their answers. Selphie looked at the mouse and the rabbit almost credulously.
"Friendship AND being number one? Are they really THAT big of a deal?" Selphie simply said. Shiro was about to say something, but before she could, Selphie simply disappeared. The two looked at each other.
"Cold comin' from her." Sora says, casually.
"I know! Lil' Miss. Sunshine, here, is suddenly judging US?" Shiro asks, sarcastically. Igor only chuckled while Elizabeth looked at the toons…in intrigue.
Soon, Sora & Shiro approached Wakka.
"What do you want outta life?" The red-haired boy asked the toon. The two looked at each other, and then to Wakka, with gave a wide grin.
"To see rare sights!" They both assert, excitedly. Nothing makes the two happier than finding out what lies beyond their little island…and perhaps even finding out where THEY came from.
"To see rare sights, huh? Don't lose sight of it, man." Wakka simply said before disappearing. Only Tidus remains as the two approached him.
"What're you so afraid of?" Tidus asks. This is a question that hits a bit too close to home.
There are allot of things to be frightful about. Stereotypical fears like the fears of spiders and bats, to more...deep meaning fears like getting old...or death itself. But if there's one thing that makes BOTH the toons shiver…it's this:
"Bein' different." Sora & Shiro say in unison, earning a confident smirk from Tidus.
"What? Is being different really that scary?" The boy asks before disappearing, leaving the toons alone. Shiro simply sighs.
"Eeeeyeah…not like you'd know." She mutters as Sora pats her on the back.
"Such fascinating answers, indeed." Igor finally spoke up.
"Being number one is important to Shiro, while friendship is most important to Sora. You both wish to see rare sights and you both are afraid of being different." Elizabeth reiterates as she writes it down in her book.
"Whatcha gonna do with that info?" Sora couldn't help but ask.
"It is not our information to use. It is yours…to conquer." Igor says mischievously as Elizabeth projects two more pages from her book towards Sora & Shiro. "Which brings us to your final test."
With a wave of Elizabeth's hand, the pages that blissfully floated towards the toons…combusted into a pitch-black fire…and it soon fell to the ground.
"Uhh…" Shiro simply says, blinking as the fires begin to grow.
"Toons such as you…always enigmas to those of the human world, and even beyond it…such as I. Caricatures drawn to life; capable of winning any battle with wit alone. Capable of taking from their pockets anything…and everything that many would find…inconceivable." Igor monologues.
"Wha?" Sora says, both flames on the ground grew and grew, until finally…it formed into shadows. Shadows of both the rabbit and the mouse.
"The ability to stretch your body as if you are made of rubber…" Igor says as the shadow copies fused with each other and began to deform into a shadowy glop.
In surprise, and even a twinge of fear, the little toons backed up a bit as the gloop grew larger, and larger, and deformed…into a monstrosity.
"I-Igor?" Sora stammered.
"Sora, your destiny lies in the path of light. And Shiro, yours teeters on the edge of darkness. Both aspects shall protect you, and server as powerful assets. But to maintain balance, you both must know this:" Igor says as Sora & Shiro gazes upon the towering behemoth known as…The Darkside.
A monstrous form that towers everyone in the Velvet Room. A cold and shadowy being with tentacle-like dreadlocks, claws as sharp as thorns, paper-like feet, and a gaping heart-shaped hole where its chest would lie.
Igor says these words…in such a chilling tone.
Neither Light Nor the Shadows Show No Quarter for the Weak
"Eheheh….uhh…w-well, looks like my time's up. Heheh…CYA!" Sora says nervously before attempting to escape…to nowhere, until Shiro grabbed him by his string tail, and pulled him back.
"In case ya realize, there isn't REALLY a place we can go to, now is there?" Shiro says sarcastically motioning to the nothingness beyond the platform.
"N-no choice…huh?" Sora asks, nervously.
"Nope." Shiro simply says.
All while the behemoth only glared at them with its golden gold eyes, Elizabeth with an empty yet stern look…and Igor with a sadistic grin. He simply asks this question.
"So, Sora, Shiro…are you weak?"
Neither mouse nor rabbit had a choice as the shadow behemoth glared back at them. They both looked at each other…and then to the Darkside…as they narrowed their eyes and gripped their weapons.
"Nope." Shiro starts.
"And if you want us to prove it…" Sora continues.
"Then, you've got it!" The two toons assert in unison, as their fears subsided. They readied for battle.
The behemoth made the first move, by clenching its fist and hurling it towards the rabbit. Being the agile rodents they are, both Sora & Shiro were quick to dodge the attack, at the expense of losing their chairs.
"Gonna take a bit more than that to stop us, buddy!" Sora says, cockily.
"A reminder not to take your opponent so likely." Elizabeth says pointing to the center of the room. Shiro looked at it as well. Left by the behemoth was a puddle of darkness and arising from said puddles are the lesser shadows.
"Not the best time, fellas." Shiro sneered.
"I'll handle the big guy, you take care of those lil' creeps!" Sora yells out as he darted into battle.
It seems the best bet the mouse had to direct his attack to the hands, being the only target in reach. With a spin, the toon now dresses in a chef's hat and apron as he also took from his Gag Bag a chef's knife.
"ALRIGHT, BUDDY-BOY! TIME TO DO SOME SLICE & DICE!" Sora yells out, determinedly as he rubbed his sword and the chef's knife together.
The boy did as instincts told him and did just that. He slashed, and slashed with all of his might, with both cutting toons. He was cutting like the chef he is, but even then, the monster's not conceding.
"Meanwhile, Shiro's having a bit of her own problems trying to deal with the small Shadows. She's popping out Fireball upon Fireball, but they keep phasing into the ground, making it harder for her to hit.
"Slippery lil' bastards." Shiro huffs in annoyance.
"Yes, they will be quite the annoyance. Which is why I'd advise that you cast a spell to dispose of them altogether." Igor inquires.
"What more fire?" Shiro asks.
"Don't waste your Mana casting fire upon fire. Perhaps a different element is needed. Cast a spell that derives of such…thunderous emotion." Elizabeth explains.
"Thunderous, huh? I think I know what you're lookin' for~" Shiro says as she took from her Gag Bag a wool carpet and took off her sneakers.
"Hope ya don't mind if I…juice up the spell~" The rabbit says as she soon concentrates all her power while running in place on the carpet. Her fur was beginning to grow puffier and puffier as electricity swims around both her fur and the staff.
Matters become worse for the Shadows. Like magnets, Shiro is pulling them all closer to her. Some tried to comically flee out of the magnetic attraction but couldn't. Soon, Shiro's staff crackled with such a powerful current of electricity swirling around it.
Meanwhile, Sora was still chop, chop, chopping away at the Behemoth's hand. Clearly, he's making progress given that there are cuts shown throughout the creature's arms.
Just when he was about to get another cut in, his sword & his chef's knife were suddenly flung out of his hand.
….
The mouse simply looked back up at the Darkside…before meekly smiling.
THUD!
Before the mouse could be reduced to a pancake, he was quick to scurry away from the Darkside's fist throw, and quickly rushed towards Shiro.
Meanwhile, with a malicious smirk, the rabbit does one final spin across the wool carpet…and casts EVERYTHING she built up.
"THUNDAGA!" Shiro screams out as powerful bolts of electricity blasts around her, incinerating all the Shadows.
Soon, she notices Sora's sword coming her way, and grabbed it, to which she throws it back at the mouse.
"SORA!" Shiro cries out as he caught it. Soon, the twins regrouped…and it was them vs the Behemoth alone, once more. Sora, meanwhile huffed at his sister's decisions.
"You could've ASKED before turning into a big ol' electromagnetic rabbit & stealing my sword!" Sora retorts.
"Just a happy lil' accident. We all make those mistakes, bro!" Shiro says casually, as the Darkside decided to make its next move by simply crouching to the ground.
The toons soon took notice of the great heart-shaped hole beginning to glow. They both got ready. Ready for ANYTHING. Soon...charging up, the shadow projected out a dark ball of energy at Sora. Then another...and another...and another!
"FREEZE!" Sora calls out, immediately making the next incoming dark ball stop dead on its track. Cartoon Logic…a wonderful thing that impacts anything.
"Got a plan?" Shiro asks.
"Got a plan~" Sora sings, mischievously. With a shine in his shimmering blue eye, an idea presents itself. The mouse simply took from his Gag Bag a baseball helmet.
"OKAY, GO!" Sora called out to the darkball as it, now zips right to the mouse…only for the mouse to hit the ball with the blunt side of the sword. The ball went sky-high, nearly nicking the Darkball's dreads.
"Soon, with a microphone in her gloved hand, Shiro joined Igor & Elizabeth on the table as she announces the play.
"And comin' up on center bat is the lil' mouse himself, Sora!" Shiro announces as cheers were suddenly heard amidst the Velvet Room. Even the shadowy behemoth looked around in confusion.
"Where is that cheering coming from…?" Elizabeth couldn't help but ask.
"A toon's mindset is such an admiring one, is it not?" Igor simply asks.
"The score's 0-4. It's the last outing of the game, folks. Who'll take home the cup, and who'll gone home a losah? Here's the windup…!" Shiro announces as the behemoth projected another energy ball at the toon.
"There's the pitch! Here it comes, here it comes, ayyyy battah, battah, battah, battah, SWING! IT'S A HIT!" Shiro announces as Sora twists his arms like a pretzel…and untwists it as he hits the ball.
"It's going, it's going, it's going" Oh, it's indeed going…straight towards the behemoth's face.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"AND IT'S GONE!" Shiro cheered as the shadowy behemoth jerked backwards, in contact with the ball of dark energy. While this happened, Sora circled around the Velvet Room…to the baseball plates that appeared out of nowhere.
"A suggestion, if I may?" Igor asks the announcer of this game.
"Fire away! I'm in a good mood!" The rabbit says happily.
"I'd say the time is right…to end this battle in a spectacle," Igor says mischievously.
"Spectacle?" Shiro asks as she returns to her normal clothing.
"To begin, encase the Shadow in ice. Picture the harsh and cold bitterness of ice. Use the darkness within you to reflect that cold chill…and unleash Jack Frost's cruel hand on the beast." Igor explains.
The rabbit took the advantage to do just that. She concentrated and thought cold thoughts. She can feel it. Cold, loneliness…emptiness. A feeling as cold as darkness itself.
Sora could also feel it…in fact he was already shivering. Not even his fur could save this harsh winter.
"A-a-a-a-anybody got a uh…sweater?" Sora asks.
Her eyes snapped open – blue, and cold. An even greater chill emanates throughout the bridge…as she casts her spell.
"FREEZE!" Shiro cries out as she projects from her staff a small ball of ice. Soon enough, the behemoth regained its composure…only for it to do so too late.
It soon met the ball of ice, which exploded on impact into a large crystal formation. The air in the fortress grew colder, as ice began to travel around the behemoth…evidently encasing it in ice completely. What stands before the three is a giant statue.
"Oooooooh~" Sora says in awe.
Igor's grin signifies that he wants to destroy that statue.
"Good, good~ now then, remember that skillful attack I wish for the both of you to cast?" Igor asks.
"You sayin' the time's now?" Sora asks.
"The time is now." Igor says malevolently. "Concentrate, Shiro. Use everything you've learned about Magic thus far and unleash a powerful flare of fire. And Sora…be ready to catch that fire…for it falls to YOU to slay that monster."
"A powerful flame. Go big or go home, huh?" Shiro asks as both she and Sora could only grin like the gremlins they are.
"Then I guess we're goin' big~" Sora sings mischiviously
She gave a heavy sigh, once more…and closed her eyes. Concentrate, for there's nothing stopping her from unleashing a powerful spell.
She raised her staff up high as a small ball of light formed atop her staff. It had a happy smile on its face and rosy cheeks. A tiny little ball of cartoon sunshine. Soon the face distorts into a vile and mischievous grin, the same shark-toothed grin that Shiro bears.
Soon the happy little ball of sunshine began to grow bigger, and bigger, until it was the same size as the giant ice sculpture before the toons. Evidently, the ball of sunshine soon forms…into a gigantic and chaotic ball of fire.
"HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH~" The ball of fire cackles maddingly.
Meanwhile, with a mischievous smirk on his face, Sora got into position. He curled his stringy tail and bounced on it as if it was a pogo stick. With his shimmering blade out, and Shiro's spell cast…
The time has come.
NOW!
She pushed her feet apart, extended the gloved hand she was holding the staff in…
"SOLARIS!" And with all her might, she HURLED the gigantic ball of fire towards the iced behemoth.
SORA, DO IT NOW!
"GAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Sora cackles as he bounced high…high up in the pitch-black sky to catch the mischievous-grinned flame.
Soon enough, the boy caught it with his sword. At that moment, his sword glows a shimmering and warm glow. Not only that…the flames itself created a sword of its own turning the blade into that…of a giant one.
A giant blade with maddening eyes…and sharp teeth.
Soon after making his descent, with his new found blade, Sora bounced one great bounce, once more…as he faced the icy statue before him…and called out his own attack:
"SOLARIS SLASH!" Sora cries out as he dived down with a horizontal spin…as if he was a buzzsaw. And at the moment…as the flaming sword met with the sculpture…
BOOOOOOOM!
On contact, a great pillar of fire shines throughout the Velvet Room, shining an even brighter light than the sun before the cartoon. All that was left from the attack…was Sora in front of where the creature once was.
Now…snowflakes shimmer throughout the Velvet Room as a tired Sora & Shiro regrouped in front of Igor & Elizabeth…who were more than pleased with the results.
Shiro was already on her knees because of the toll taken from casting her spell.
"A-and that's…." Shiro says determinedly…when suddenly her eyes went pale.
"That…" Sora croaked before…
Thump
The mouse and the rabbit went faint and dropped to the ground…with their weapons flying & rolling out of their gloved hands.
ALL of her Mana went into that attack. It's clear that it overwhelmed her. And Sora was clearly overwhelmed from not only carrying the weight of the spell, but using it.
Perhaps…it was Igor's plan all along.
"They've done quite well, Elizabeth~" Igor muses as he and Elizabeth approached the unconscious toons.
"Such power within such tiny vessels. I'm quite impressed. Do they have what it takes, Master?" Elizabeth simply asks.
"I'd say They've proven more than ready, dear Elizabeth. The Warrior of Light, and the Witch of Darkness. Both shall soon make their presence QUITE known…and in the end, dear Elizabeth…
They will be the ones...who will open the door.
