KS: I am now officially 26 years of age. I feel pretty confident that things will be different for me. A new job with new outlook on life... and another fanfic idea I've been cooking up in my mind for a while brought to life. Yep, this is a Code Geass/Spider-Man crossover. I have many plans for this to flourish as a story and to expand into a greater universe. Also, the first chapter will contain bits and pieces from the first episode, along with solely focusing on Lelouch. With that out of the way, enjoy.

"We apologize for the delay. Now, His Royal Highness, Prince Clovis, Third Prince of Britannia, will address the nation."

Lelouch stared at the screen that had the flag of the Holy Britannian Empire with a narrowed gaze, his discontent rising when the man in question was no shown.

"To all my imperial subjects, including, of course, the many cooperative Elevens who choose to serve the Empire of Britannia!" Clovis announced dramatically, gripping his chest with a pained expression. "Do you not see my pain? My heart was ripped from my chest only to be torn apart! The remnants are filled with rage and sadness! However, as ruler of Area 11, I will not tolerate terrorism of any kind! Because the battle we fight is a righteous one! A virtuous battle to protect the well-being of one and all! Now then, everyone, I would like you to join me in observance of the eight who died for justice in the line of duty."

Lelouch mentally fought back the urge to scoff of the utter lack of sincerity of the man's words and actions. How anyone could buy into that was beyond his knowledge.

"Well, aren't you gonna join in?" his friend, Rivalz, asked.

"Aren't you?" Lelouch asked in response, paying for the parking permit.

Rivalz laughed. "It's sort of embarrassing."

"And I agree with you," Lelouch replied, taking the permit was it was dispensed from the machine. "Besides, spilling tears over those people won't bring them back to life, now will it."

"Dang, that's dark, buddy," Rivalz replied, putting on his goggles.

Lelouch looked at the permit, then back at the screen on the building.

"It's all about self-satisfaction. Doesn't matter how hard you try. You can't do it. There's no way you can change the world."

"Damn it all… you're saying you can't find it anywhere?"

"I didn't stutter. I searched every part of the complex. The damn thing is nowhere in sight."

Two scientists stood in a lab with frustrated expressions, one of them pacing back and forth while biting his thumbnail.

"What are the repercussions of this?" the first scientist asked.

"Best case scenario, we'll be fired with no chance to find work ever again," the second answered. "Worst case scenario, we'll be executed on the spot."

"Damn… I really hope it doesn't end up in the wrong hands. This experiment could change the world. Britannia would truly be unstoppable."

"Indeed."

Lelouch and Rivalz drove down the road, discussing the former's chess match with the arrogant noble.

"That first move you made," Rivalz said. "Why'd you start with the king?"

"If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his suboardinates to follow?" Lelouch replied.

Naturally, Rivalz was confused. "What's with that?"

"With what?" Lelouch asked.

"Do you fantasize about running a major corporation?"

"No way," Lelouch answered. "Ambitions like that will ruin your health."

The sound of a horn honking got their attention. They looked back to see a truck tailing dangerously close to them.

"Ahhh!" Rivalz screamed. "We're gonna die!"

As he sped up, the truck suddenly turned left and crashed into a wall. Rivalz stopped the bike as he saw the wreck as a cloud of smoke surrounded it.

"Was that our fault?" he asked.

"I don't think so," Lelouch answered.

As he stared at the crash site, he saw a cluster of strange green lights hovering above the truck.

"What the…?"

"Oh man, this sucks," Rivalz groaned. "Looks like the power line on the bike got cut."

"Hey, over here!"

Soon enough, random civilians began to gather, witnessing the aftermath of the crash from a distance with some even recording it on their phone. Lelouch looked at them with disgust.

"All those idiots…"

Lelouch threw his helmet into the side car and ran towards the crash site.

"Huh? Wait!" Rivalz called out to his friend, but his protest went unanswered.

Lelouch ran up to the truck, worried for the safety of whoever was inside.

"Hey! Are you alright?" he called out. No response was heard. He began to climb up the ladder attached to the trailer.

"Hey, can you hear me? Are you okay?"

As Lelouch reached the top of the truck, he heard a voice.

It's you. Finally, I have found my-

Surprised, he looked around, wondering where it came from. He leaned closer towards the opening on the top of the trailer.

"Are you in there?" he shouted.

Suddenly, the truck quickly reversed, causing him to fall into the trailer, but he quickly rolled forward to prevent any bones from breaking. This was not how he expected his day to go.

"Stop!" Lelouch cried out. "I'm in here!"

There was no response from the driver. The vehicle jerked forward, and the moment caused Lelouch to be thrown towards a large container in the truck.

"You'd think they'd stick a ladder on the inside too," he quipped as he attempted to climb the container.

"Stop the vehicle!"

Lelouch ceased his climbing when he the voice from the loudspeaker. He assumed it came from a helicopter pilot.

"Surrender now and you'll get the chance to defend yourself in court!"

The sound of a weapon firing was heard from above. Now they were shooting at the truck, forcing whoever was driving to swerve eratically. Lelouch felt the violent motions as he tried to keep himself stable.

"What a day this has turned out to be," he muttered.

The two scientists stood in front of a computer, one of them typing rapidly on the keyboard.

"Good thing we had the bugger chipped," one of them said. "We can find the damn thing and bring it back home."

"The real problem is explaining how we allowed it to slip free in the first place," the second replied. "Those at the top have little tolerance for screw-ups, after all."

"Which is why we're gonna have to pull something out of our asses and pray to whatever god is available they bought it," the first scientist sighed.

After minutes of rapid typing, the monitor showed a large map with a red dot moving rapidly. The duo recognized the location and let out a collective groan.

"It's located in the Shinjuku ghetto," the first scientist seethed, leaning back. "We're really up the creek without a paddle."

"The way I see it, we've lost the raft as well," the second grumbled. "We're really gonna get it now."

The red dot continued to quickly move along the map, as if it was scurrying along.

Lelouch always had a keen sense of danger for as long as he could remember. He could tell when he was in a situation where he could potentially lose his life.

Being stuck in a trailer next to a large canister with poison gas was a less than ideal place for him to be in right now.

"I need to get out of here quickly," he muttered.

He looked at the canister and prepared to climb up, but the second he put his hand on it, he noticed a black and purple spider climbing down on the large object.

"Where did you come from?" he asked.

The spider walked onto Lelouch's hand, much to his annoyance. He shook his hand back and forth in an attempt to dissuade the insect from hanging on him.

"Get off, will you? I've no time for your nonesense."

Instead of getting off, the spider bit Lelouch on his hand, causing to howl in pain and grip his wrist.

"Damn it! To be bitten by a spider…"

The pain was agonizing to Lelouch. Every nerve in his body felt like it was set on fire. His head was pounding, and his chest felt tight.

"I… can't breathe… I can barely move…"

He slumped against the wall as the torturous sensation wracked through him, threatening to tear him apart. But soon after, it began to subside, becoming somewhat bearable.

"Well, that was unpleasant," Lelouch mused miserably, slowly standing up.

The door to the trailer slowly began to open, and Lelouch wasted no time moving out of sight to avoid detection. Luckily for him, it didn't appear that anyone was approaching. Letting out a sigh of relief, he walked towards the container.

"Now I can use this chance to climb up."

Suddenly, he felt a strong buzzing in the back of his skull, as if it was giving warning. Lelouch quickly turned around to see a soldier come at him with a flying kick. He blocked it before it made contact, but it still struck and knocked him on his back.

"Ugh! Are you Britannian-?!"

Lelouch was unable to finish his retort due to the soldier grabbing him by his throat.

"That's enough mindless murder," he said.

"Wait," Lelouch choked out. "I'm not one of-!"

"Planning to use poison gas?" the soldier asked. "Don't play dumb with me!"

"Get off me!" Lelouch shouted, attempting to kick the soldier off of him. The soldier effortlessly jumped away before the kick could even land.

"I'm not here by choice," he said. "And if that's poison gas, it was made in Britannia, wasn't it?" He slowly walked towards the soldier. "Mindless murder… then why don't you just obliterate Britannia?!"

Silence hung between the two until the soldier spoke.

"…Lelouch."

Lelouch blinked at his name being uttered. The soldier took off his helmet, revealing a face that was familiar to him.

"It's me. Suzaku."

Lelouch's eyes widened in shock. His friend of many years ever since he was unceremoniously dropped off in Japan. He almost couldn't believe it.

"You… you became a Britannian soldier?"

"Yeah," Suzaku replied. "And what about you? You're a-"

Before any reminiscent talks could continue, the container emitted a bright glow as its restraints came loose.

Lelouch was shocked by the sight, but had no time to process as Suzaku pushed him down, holding his mask against his friend's face to ensure that he did not inhale the poison gas.

But what was released from the container was not gas, poison or otherwise. Instead, it was a woman with long green hair and golden eyes, wearing a straitjacket.

"That's not poison gas," Suzaku said. "What is it?"

The two scientists sat patiently, both of them facing the wall. Their expressions were completely neutral, as if they knew the fate that would befall them.

"This is it, huh?" one said morosely.

"Seems like it," the second replied in a dour tone. "The signal was lost in the ghetto. No doubt it died somewhere in there."

"We're gonna follow in its footsteps soon enough. Assuming there is a heaven for spiders."

The second scientist scoffed. "There's no heaven for spiders. But there is a hell for those who break the laws of nature."

The first scientist chuckled dryly. "Well, if we gotta go, then we go together."

Immediately, a small group of soldier burst into the lab, weapons aimed at the two scientists.

"Looks like you've saved us the trouble of finding you," one of the soldiers said.

"Not much point trying to make tracks," the second scientist admitted. "We knew what awaited us the moment we lost the spider."

"At least you're aware," the soldier said. "Any last words?"

"As a matter of fact, we both do."

The scientists slowly stood up, then turned around to face the soldiers. Much to their shock, both of the two labcoat-clad had bombs strapped to their chests, one of them holding the detonator. It was obvious what they intended to do.

"All hail Britannia."

The detonator was trigged, and all was engulfed in a bright light.

KS: Welp, Lelouch got bitten by the spider, and got his first taste of Spider-Sense. You'll have to wait a bit before he truly embraces his new powers, which will come before he embraces his persona as a masked revolutionary. Anyway, now that I got you here, I've doing some thinking. As I began thinking up the CG/SM crossover, I was debating on whether or not I should have the antagonists take the role of the villains in Spidey's rogues' gallery. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Anyway, happy birthday to me, and I hope to see you all again. Peace.
