One week later

It's been a couple of days since Robert and Andy almost kissed. Things have been quite interesting between them while they were working together. The team has noticed how Andy and Robert are different when they are around each other. Out of all of them, Vic knew why they were awkward around each other but she did not tell the team why they were acting like this.

It came to a point where they needed to talk about it but they weren't able to due to their work schedules. They needed to find a way so they could be able to talk without anyone interrupting them. They had only communicated a couple of times while they were on calls. It was on Monday morning when Andy wanted to talk to Robert before their shift started.

The team started their shift at their regular time, they made their way to the beanery to eat breakfast before line up. Before Robert made his way to the kitchen to serve himself breakfast Andy grabbed Robert's arm and pulled him to the side so they could talk. "Hey, do you have a minute?" "Yes, I do" He gave her a small smile.

They made their way to the locker room and Andy was first to talk. "Um, so I- I've been meaning to talk to you about what happened last week." "Me too" She sighed in relief because she didn't know if Robert wanted to talk about it. "Do you think we could talk after our shift is over?" He nodded. "Yes, and if you want to, do you maybe want to go for a walk while we talk?" She nodded.

"Yes, that would be great." He nodded and glanced at his watch to see what time it was. "Come on, let's go eat breakfast before we have to do line up." She nodded. They made their way back to beanery and they started to make themselves breakfast. They made their way to the dining table where the rest of the team was and joined in their conversation.

The team went out for several calls. After the team came back from their last call, Vic wanted to talk to Andy. "Great job 19!" Beckett yelled. The team responded with "Thanks captain."

They all went their separate ways and started to do different things that the captain assigned them to do. Vic made her way to where Andy was. "So you and Sullivan" She said with a smirk. "What about me and Sullivan?" She already knew dammn well what she was talking about but she still acted as if she didn't know what she was referring to.

"Oh come on Andy, I literally caught you both almost kissing in the locker room." She lowered her voice so no one can hear what they were talking about. "That wasn't anything" "You sure about that because from the looks on both of your faces when I caught you it said something else." "What are you talking about?" She already knew what she was referring to.

"Are we just going to pretend that you guys both still have feelings for each other?" She thought about it for a second. Do I still have feelings for him? Or what is it that I'm feeling? She didn't know if he still had feelings for her. They definitely needed to talk about it when they talk later. Her thoughts were interrupted by Vic.

"Where did you go just now?" "Nowhere, I was just thinking about some things." She rubbed the back of her neck. "Mmh-hmm, like what?" She said, crossing her arms around her chest. "Nothing really, I just wish things weren't too complicated at this point." "Do you think things will be complicated between you and Robert?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"At this point, I'm not even sure I hope it doesn't but I guess we just have to talk about a lot of things." She sighed. "Yeah, you guys definitely need to" They were standing in silence until Andy started to talk. "Anyways, enough talking about my love life, how are you and Theo doing?" She smirked.

"We are doing great, you know, I'm happy we're happy." She said with a huge smile. "That's good to hear, I'm really glad that you two are happy." She said with a grin. "Andy, can I tell you something but don't say anything until I finish?" "Sure" She said with hesitation.

"If Robert makes you feel something that you have never felt before then give it a second chance, love comes and goes, don't give up on it, and I know how you feel about him I can see it in your eyes." She said with a smile. Andy was really surprised by her words, she never thought that she would ever hear those words from her.

"Wow! Never thought I would ever hear those words come from you." "I mean what can I say, I am full of surprises but I meant what I said Andy, just think about what I said and if you ever need to talk about this you can always come and talk to me." She said with a smile.

"Thank you, I will definitely keep that in mind." She was happy that Vic was always there for her. "Of course, come on, let's get to work before Beckett finds out we're not doing anything." "Okay" She laughed. They went their separate ways and started working. The team continued their shift until their shifts ended in the afternoon. They all showered and went home that afternoon.

Robert and Andy left together so they can finally talk. They were walking through Washington park, it was a sunny afternoon with a little breeze. They were walking in silence enjoying the breeze until Andy broke the silence. "So um how have you been?" She wanted to make small talk before they started to talk about what happened on Halloween.

She glanced his way to see his face, she wanted to try and read his face but she couldn't see what he was thinking. He laughed before he responded, he could tell that she was nervous. "You know I've been hanging in there like always but that's not why we're here, is it?" "No, no it's not." She sighed.

Andy was thinking about the conversation she had with Vic earlier. She asked herself if Vic was right all along and to just give love a second chance. Andy always thought that she and Robert weren't going to get back together since they got a divorce a couple months back. After everything that has happened, Robert was always there for her in the difficult times.

Robert turned his head towards her, he could see how she was thinking about stuff. He saw her shake her head and she started to talk. "I don't know where to begin but I just wanted to know where we stand because of what happened last week." She said with a sly smile.

"Yeah, about last week I don't know where to even begin I mean we are divorced Andy." He saw her sigh but he continued to talk. "I mean I never thought that we would ever get back together, and we almost kissed but there's something I need to tell you and I'm not sure how you are going to react."

Robert gestured Andy to the nearest bench and they sat down. Andy was nervous because she didn't know what he was going to say but she took in a deep breath that she didn't even know that she was holding and responded. "Okay, so what is it that you are going to tell me?" She said nervously.

"I don't even know where to begin but I just want to tell you." He said with a low voice. "Robert, tell me what's going on." "So after Halloween, I wasn't sure if you ever wanted to talk about it but two days later I met someone and we have been talking ever since."

To be continued...
