Author's note: Hello! This is a little poem (if it can be called that…not sure it follows the rules of poetry) that I wrote several years ago. I leave it to your imagination to provide details but the basic idea is that the brothers were cornered on the edge of a cliff by a villain, Frank was gravely wounded and Joe thought he was dead, and now Joe is hanging off the edge of the cliff. Just as he loses his grip, Frank catches him. I imagine this as a song but feel free to read normally. Hope you enjoy!
I'll never let you go
Even as I die
I just want you to know
I will never let you go
I will never let you go
Even as the blood pours down my arm
Into your waiting hand
I'll never let you go
I don't care if I die
You're the only thing worth living for
I will never let you go
And with the last of my strength
I will pull you up into safety's waiting embrace
I'll never let you go
And with my dying breath
I will let you know
How much I love you so
I'll never let you go
I'll always be in your heart
Please don't cry, my brother
I just want you to know
That I love you so
And I will never let you go
I will NEVER let you go
