Patty and Victor were thrilled beyond belief to become parents and fell in love the instant they laid eyes on their newborn daughter for the first time. "And what is her name?" Penny demanded when she showed up to meet her granddaughter.
Victor rolled his eyes at his mother-in-law. "Do you ever quit?"
"How long have you known me?" she shot back.
"Yes, Mother, we have a name." Patty pulled the blanket back, revealing her daughter's form. "This is Prudence Elizabeth Halliwell. We'll call her Prue." Elizabeth was a non-P name she adored, one she couldn't quite let go of - it worked perfectly as a middle name instead.
Penny grabbed Prue from Patty's arms. "Hello, Prue. I look forward to getting to know you," she murmured.
"Are you kidnapping our daughter?" Victor teased.
Patty playfully tapped his arm. "Be nice," she warned both of them.
"Considering he helped give me my first granddaughter, I'll try." Penny still shot Victor a glare, however.
Victor grabbed a camera out of Patty's bag and forced Penny to take the first picture of the three of them."I love you. Both of my girls," he whispered to Patty before kissing her and Prue.
Prue shot out a tiny fist and the door closed. Dead silence for a minute as they tried to process. "Well, we already knew she was telekinetic," Patty reminded them.
"Weird to see a baby with that much firepower, though," Victor muttered, still in disbelief about this whole magic thing. He'd adjust in time, hopefully.
"It's okay - we'll teach her," Patty vowed.
"Damn right we will," Penny agreed without hesitation.
Prudence Elizabeth Halliwell was the first but she wouldn't be the last. She was also safe and loved, and that was all that mattered to her overjoyed family at the moment.
