A/N: Hello everyone. Now I'm doing yet another fic based off of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite's Story Mode. And apologies to the three or so people that were looking forward to Arrowverse vs. Rareware: Totemic, but unfortunately, I'm discontinuing that one. Among other reasons, my interest in the Arrowverse shows as a whole has...severely waned.
As for Shonen Jump vs. Nintendo: Onyx, I discontinued it and decided to start over with this fic mainly because I came up with much, much, better ideas. Firstly, for the stand-ins for the Infinity Stones (I wanted to use the Dragon Balls before, but since they can't really do anything individually, I couldn't think of a way to make them work in the context of MvCI's story...until I finally thought of something, by utilizing my favorite plot point from my least favorite Dragon Ball series :p.) More importantly, I thought of better villains to use for Ultron Sigma, and tbh, I kinda kicking myself for not thinking of either of them sooner. A few other characters were changed to accommodate these aforementioned changes, and for a couple of others (mainly on the Nintendo side) I just decided to change them anyway.
In my last MvCI fic, I included roles for the DLC characters that weren't in the Story Mode, namely Venom and Winter Soldier. This time, I actually will also include a character to stand in for Black Widow. In addition to those characters, I will also be including stand-ins for the characters that were rumored for Marvel Infinite's second season of DLC characters, which were Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Asura from Asura's Wrath, Lady from Devil May Cry, Gill from Street Fighter, and either Rashid from Street Fighter or Vergil from Devil May Cry. Because I felt there wasn't a good character to make a parallel to Gill on the Marvel/Shonen Jump side of the roster, I opted not to use a character for Gill, instead simply using a character each for both Rashid and Vergil. So now both sides have an equal number of characters in it, at least.
So yeah, this fic is going to have a lot of extra characters in it, two of which will be in this chapter.
Oh, and this fic has minor spoilers for Tears for the Kingdom. Nothing story related that hasn't been shown off in trailers, just in terms of abilities of things. Same goes for many of the manga/anime present in this fanfic.

88 Days Since the Convergence
Pulling out the Power Pole embedded into a defeated Metal Cooler clone, Link extended the pole and swung it into the air, batting down a few of the Metal Coolers flying toward Link. Link took down a few more Metal Coolers with arrows fused with explosive materials as they circled around him, but he found himself hopelessly surrounded by the Metal Cooler Corps. Goku used Instant Transmission to warp behind Link and take back his Power Pole.
"Link," greeted Goku while the two of them stood back to back from each other. The two heroes were in the middle of a landscape half populated with Japanese Feudal-era styled buildings and half populated with houses resembling medieval European architecture. When Cooler Ganon combined both of their multiverses, the Soul Society merged with Hyrule, creating an unnatural mish-mash of locations now known as Soulrule. Worst still, Cooler Ganon already invaded and overthrew Soulrule, capturing most of the Hylian, Sheikah, Zora, Goron, Rito, Gerudo, and Soul populations. Link, Goku, and a coalition of heroes from both the Jump and Nintendo worlds were currently fighting the Metal Cooler Corps in an effort to liberate Soulrule from Cooler Ganon's grasp.
Two Metal Coolers approached Link and Goku, but were cut in half by a lightning fast dash that left afterimages in its path.
"Fox!" Link exclaimed as their friend approached them.
"Goku, our teams are in position. The enemy's forces are massing at the palace stairway. Don't let a single one of them get away," said Fox.
"So we better not keep them waiting then," Goku declared. "Let's go, everyone!"
With that, the three of them charged forward. While Fox went off on his own, Goku and Link stuck by each other as a pair of Metal Coolers stood in their way.
"I must warn you guys, I'm way stronger than when we fought on Namek," Goku said with determination.
"And with us working together, you have no chance of victory," Link added.
Goku sped to one of the Coolers and pummeled it with faster than the eyes can see punches and kicks. Sending it away with a strong kick, Goku finished it off with a small ki blast.
Link, meanwhile, narrowly avoided the remaining Cooler's flying haymaker before retaliating with a Flurry Rush, slicing up the Metal Cooler at high speeds. As the metallic Cooler staggered back, Link finished it off with a Sword Beam from the Master Sword.
"Aww man. I know I've gotten much stronger, but I thought they'd be at least be a little bit of a challenge," Goku complained.
"I doubt Cooler Ganon puts much effort into controlling his clones anymore. Fortunately for us, that makes them much easier to defeat," said Link.
Not too far from them, Princess Peach found herself surrounded by Coolers. She spun around on her leg, knocking her adversaries away with the edges of her dress. Catching sight of another incoming Cooler, she pulled a turnip out of the ground and flung it, knocking the robot duplicate to the ground. Before the Cooler could get back up, Medaka Kurokami appeared in front of it and struck it in the face with a Kurokami Rolling Savate.
"Princess Peach Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom?" Medaka beckoned her as more Metal Coolers approached them.
"Medaka. Shall we?" Peach answered as they braced themselves for battle. The duo batted away the swarm of enemies with punches, slaps and kicks, but five more Coolers soon joined the fray.
"You guys don't know when to quit, do you? Very well. As humans, we shall use the ingenuity of martial arts techniques to beat down the monsters that you are," said Medaka.
"Here they come," warned Peach.
Medaka closed the distance to one of the Coolers and took it down with a Kurokami Lariat to the neck. Two more Coolers kept their distance with held out palms, but before they could fire a ki blast at her, Medaka pulled out many small balls, burrowed from Unzen without his permission, and chunked them forward. The balls bounced around randomly until they tore into the two Coolers.
Peach floated above the remaining two Coolers, kicking both of them repeatedly before jabbing them upward with her parasol. As they came back down, she smacked them away with a tennis racket.
"Ready for round three?" Medaka asked Peach as she saw yet another wave of enemies coming.
"There's a huge universe out there, with a lot of galaxies, but no matter where you are, it's the same melees." Peach replied.
The two decided to end the fight in one decisive blow. Medaka's hair glowed pink as she entered War God Mode while Peach about faced, raising her rear. Medaka skipped up and down in place, delaying the sound of her feet touching the ground until she darted forward at supersonic speed. Peach lunged herself beside her, matching her speed.
"Kurokami Peach Phantom Bomber!" they both yelled as they plowed through the wave of enemies, completely vaporizing every enemy in front of them.
Medaka exhaled deeply and powered down just as two more Coolers approached them from behind. Peach and Medaka turned around, but before they could attack, the Coolers were taken care of by two Dark Magic Attacks. They wheeled around and saw Yami Yugi, with Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl in tow.
"Pharaoh!" Peach called out as Yami nodded.
Close by, Monkey D. Luffy literally stretched his arm far back. "Gum Gum Pistol!" Luffy yelled as he released his arm, smacking a Cooler and sending it far past the horizon. A Cooler snuck behind Luffy, producing a red energy disc with sharp edges above its raised hand. Before the Cooler could hurl the Death Saucer, it was stopped by an exploding egg thrown at it.
"Watch your back, Luffy!" Yoshi warned him.
"Same to you, Yoshi. Goku and I still haven't had that eating competition with you and Kirby yet," Luffy said casually as four Coolers targeted them.
Luffy inflated himself with Gum Gum Balloon and laid down as the Coolers threw punches at him. Their attacks were cushioned as they were bounced high up by Luffy's inflated belly. Luffy twisted his body around tightly and exhaled, blowing himself upward as he spun toward the Coolers. Yoshi, meanwhile, Flutter Jumped high above the Coolers as Luffy reached them.
"Gum Gum Flutter Storm!" they both called out as Luffy barraged the Coolers with powerful punches from below and Yoshi Flutter Kicked them from above. After the Coolers plummeted to the ground, Yoshi Ground Pounded two of them, while Luffy flattened the other two with a Gum Gum Battle Axe.
"Do this...and this...and, this!" said Yoshi, fluttering a few inches off the ground several times. "It's easy as pie! Mmm, pie!" Yoshi imagined, drooling at the thought.
Meanwhile, inside the Soul King Palace, hundreds of Soul Reapers stood in formation in the Soul King's room. Each Soul Reaper radiated dark auras from their bodies and possessed glowing red eyes. Hovering before the Soul Reapers was none other than Cooler Ganon himself, the fused form of Cooler and Ganon who levitated in place where the Soul King once resided. While Cooler Ganon mostly retained the physical appearance of a Metal Cooler, albeit with a much more muscular frame, there were visual differences that made him more reminiscent of Ganondorf, such as wearing a red cape and dark gauntlets, shoulder pads, and kneepads for armor. Imprinted on Cooler Ganon's torso and abdomen was Calamity Ganon's face in his mechanical form, complete with Calamity Ganon's glowing red eyes where Cooler Ganon's nipples should be. Embedded in Cooler Ganon's forehead was an orange crystalline sphere with six stars on it; the Six-Star Dragon Ball. Just below his neck rested another Dragon Ball, this one having seven stars.
"Heroes of both dimensions. Welcome to ours," said Cooler Ganon, with the combined voices of Cooler and Calamity Ganon, with the latter far more sapient and articulate than before. Motioning with a pointed finger, Cooler Ganon made his next command clear to his new subjects. "The Substitute Soul Reaper has come to save his friends. Go! Show him and his allies what we've made of you. Leave no survivors!"
Back at the battle, Ichigo Kurosaki, alongside Chad and Uryu, made short work of any Cooler that attacked them.
"We're going to rescue Rukia and everyone else in Soulrule, so get the hell out of our way!" Ichigo declared to the Metal Coolers as he sliced through a batch of them.
Flash Stepping into the air, Ichigo slashed with his bigger sword, firing a Getsuga Tensho downward. Mario reflected the spiritual energy with his cape, redirecting it into two Coolers.
"Heh. Not bad for a plumber," said Ichigo.
"And you're pretty impressive yourself, for a weird looking Grim Leecher." Mario replied.
"Ichigo, look!" Uryu pointed ahead.
The Soul Reaper followed the gaze of his classmate's and saw a legion of other Soul Reapers charging towards them, glaring evilly with glowing red eyes that matched the corrupted parts of their bodies.
"What's this? So they want to get Mario'd too?" Mario declared as he pulled out an Ultra Hammer.
"No, wait!" Ichigo pleaded as he quickly got in front of Mario. "They're Soul Reapers, but what did he do to them!?"
"Ichigo…" Mario said in concern.
While wearing ear plugs, Senku Ishigami stepped in front of Ichigo and Mario, pointing a loaded Shock Cannon at the Soul Reapers. Ichigo and Mario hurriedly covered their ears before the Sonic Bomb it was loaded with exploded, sending a powerful soundwave forward that knocked the Soul Reapers unconscious.
Two more Soul Reapers approached Chad and Uryu from the rear, but before they could attack Ichigo's friends, they're blasted by lasers, courtesy of Min Min's Dragon ARMS.
"Don't worry, big guy," Senku reassured Ichigo. "There's a ten billion percent chance that they'll be fine...eventually."
"Senku. Min Min," greeted Ichigo.
"Ni Hao," Min Min answered with a raised ARM.
"Nice bludgeon you got there," Senku said to Mario, unimpressed. "Compensating for something?"
"Only your sketchiness, Senku," Mario replied.
Ichigo laughed. "I like him," he said while casually firing a Getsuga Tensho at two airborne Coolers.
As the two Coolers went down, two more engaged with Ichigo and Mario. Ichigo dashed forward with both swords out, impaling one of the Coolers before tearing it in two with a jumping upward slash. Mario leapt high into the air with a Super Jump, coming down hard and smashing the other Cooler's head with the Ultra Hammer.
Elsewhere, Kirby counted his kills as he continued his fight. "7-6!" he called out as he cut down a Cooler in front of him as Sword Kirby. Another Cooler attempted a sneak attack from behind, but Kirby stabbed it without even turning around. "8-6!" he resumed as he blasted the impaled Cooler with a Sword Beam. Yet another Cooler advanced towards Kirby, only to become another victim of Kirby's sword. "9-6! C'mon, Emma, this is embarrassing."
Kirby turned to the orange haired adolescent girl wielding a bow. "I never agreed to participate in this game of yours," said Emma. She fired a trick arrow that split into pieces and took down four Coolers. One survived and landed next to Emma, but before it could do anything, Emma stabbed it in the chest with the stem of a Vida flower. The Cooler withered and died as the Vida absorbed the mechanical fluids out of it, blossoming into an unusual black color. "But if I was, let's just call it a tie," she added.
"Hey, Kirby!" Boruto Uzumaki yelled. Kirby's attention diverted to Boruto, who dug through the pouch on his right leg, to no avail. "I'm out of kunai," said Boruto.
"I have just what you need," said Kirby. Using a Copy Essence Deluxe, a power-up that lets Kirby use a Copy Ability at any time, Kirby instantly became Ninja Kirby. He took out two kunai and passed them to Boruto. "Be good."
Boruto smiled mischievously at the two kunai in his hands. "Care to dance?" he asked before coating them in lightning chakra and throwing them into a nearby Cooler.
Boruto and Kirby went on the offensive against two more Coolers. Boruto put up his hand seals and created two Shadow Clones. The Shadow Clones clapped their hands together, gathering wind-natured chakra into their palms. They grasped the real Boruto's feet into their palms as they released the wind in their hands, propelling the real Boruto forward at high speed toward one of the Coolers. Boruto gathered a sphere of chakra into his palm as he drilled into the Cooler. "Boruto Stream Rasengan!" he yelled as he tore the Cooler into shreds.
"Ooh! I wanna do that too!" Kirby yelled. He ejected his ability and inhaled one of Boruto's Shadow Clones, gaining Boruto's hair and headband and becoming Boruto Kirby. Surely enough, Kirby repeated Boruto's actions on the other Cooler, including yelling "Boruto Stream Rasengan!", but in his high pitched infantile voice.
Goku continued to take down scores of Coolers with no signs of slowing down. Samus Aran, however, grew more irritable with their endless battle. She grunted in frustration after shooting another Cooler and grumbled, "These things are like Zebesian Cockroaches."
"Just be careful around the Soul Reapers," cautioned a close-by Ichigo.
"Yeah, I know. This isn't my first time having to deal with mind-controlled allies," Samus informed him.
Link closed the gap between him and Ichigo as he shot a Cooler with an arrow. "This was also once my home, Ichigo. Cooler Ganon's going to pay for what he's done."
Two Soul Reapers charged at them, swords raised. Link parried one of the Soul Reapers' sword swing, but to his surprise, the Soul Reaper wasn't knocked off balance and continued his attack, slashing Link and knocking him to the ground.
"These Reapers have super armor!" Link warned Ichigo.
"Well, in that case…" said Ichigo, grabbing the Soul Reaper by the head before he could attack Link again. Ichigo tossed the Soul Reaper upward like a ragdoll before slicing him with his bigger sword. Before the Soul Reaper could get up, Ichigo fired a Getsuga Tensho with each blade of his true Shikai, fusing together into a cross-shaped blast of energy. The Getsuga Jujisho landed at the Soul Reaper's feet, causing an explosion that knocked the Reaper out cold.
Link fired arrows in quick succession into the other Soul Reaper, finishing with an arrow fused with a Bomb Flower that knocked him down. Before the Reaper could get up, Link punched the ground with his right hand, incapacitating him with a wave of rocks.
Ichigo looked at the two fallen Soul Reapers and clenched his fist in determination. "I swear I will release you, all of you, from Cooler Ganon's grasp, or die trying," he promised.
Surrounded by downed Metal Coolers, Goku placed two fingers on his forehead. "I'm trying to use Instant Transmission to get inside the underground prison, but I can't seem to lock-on to his energy signature," said Goku aloud.
"He's probably being held in Muken, the eighth and final level of the Central Great Underground Prison," Yami Yugi suggested as he approached Goku. "It's a voided space completely sealed off from the outside world, meaning even you can't sense anyone inside. However, since the Convergence has left the spiritual barriers of the Soul Society weakened, it shouldn't be a problem for me to get us inside using the Millennium Puzzle."
Goku nodded. "Good. Then I'll stay here and help hold off the Metal Cooler Corps. I'll leave everything else up to you and the team we picked out. Speaking of which…" Goku cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted at Samus in the distance. "Samus, you ready?"
Samus turned to Goku, but before she could respond to him, a Cooler suddenly attacked her. She quickly retaliated with an uppercut from her Arm Cannon. Samus slammed the stunned Cooler to the ground and blasted its head off at point blank, giving Goku a salute with her Arm Cannon as she tossed the corpse aside.
"I'll take that as a 'yes'," said Goku.
Samus, along with Fox, Peach, and Boruto gathered around Yami. "This prisoner better have the answers we need," said Samus.
"He will," Goku answered as the others jumped through a portal Yami created with the Millennium Puzzle. "He has to. Or this is the end," he added in an uncharacteristically grim tone.

88 Days Since the Convergence
Leading the way, Samus cautiously turned the corner to see if any guards were posted in the upcoming hallway. Once she saw that the coast was clear, she signaled to the others that it was safe to progress. Peach, Yami, and Boruto took the lead while Fox stayed with Samus, covering the rear. However, Yami still surveyed his surroundings heedfully.
"Do you feel it? This mystical maelstrom of torment and despair?" he asked his comrades.
"Yeah, it sucks," Boruto concurred, even though he obviously can't sense magic.
"Every prison's the same," Peach added.
This peaked Boruto's interest. "So, you've done some hard time?"
"If all the times I was thrown in Bowser's dungeon count, then I suppose so," Peach admitted. "But as princess, I've put a lot of troublemaking punks like you away."
Boruto scoffed and waved his hands dismissively. Right afterward, the group was spotted by two Metal Coolers and two Soul Reapers.
"Halt!" one of the Soul Reapers demanded as they blocked the path in front of them. Samus and Fox rushed to their allies' sides to assist them.
"We can't let them sound the alarm! Take 'em down!" Samus commanded.
"So much for the secret mission," Boruto bemoaned.
Samus shifted into her Morph Ball form, avoiding Death Beams from one of the Metal Coolers as she dropped bombs around it. As the bombs exploded, lifting the Metal Cooler into the air, Samus reverted back to normal and blasted it to kingdom come with a Super Missile.
Keeping his distance from one of the Soul Reapers, Boruto gathered a sphere of chakra into his palm before throwing it forward. Initially cautious, the Soul Reaper let his guard down as the Rasengan seemingly dissipated in midair, only for it to collide with his shoulder. This gave Boruto an opening to rush in, beating the Soul Reaper with taijutsu until he was knocked out cold.
The remaining Cooler fired a Death Wave at Fox, but he used his Reflector to bounce the projectile back. The Cooler, shocked at getting sliced by its own attack, left itself vulnerable long enough for Fox to engulf himself in flames and ram into the robot, destroying it.
Yami called forth Swords of Revealing Light to surround the remaining Soul Reaper, preventing him from attacking while Peach prepared her attack. She released a single sheep into the air that cascaded into a downpour of sheep over the Soul Reaper, lulling him to sleep.
With all of the guards dispatched, the group of heroes finally proceeded down the corridor. They stopped after reaching a specific door. "This is it," Samus informed the others.
As the door opened, Boruto peaked inside the endless void and gasped in shock at the sight of the prisoner inside. "Oh no! Nope! Bad idea!" Boruto shook his head in protest.
"Boruto, what is it?" Peach asked.
"Seriously? You know who this is, right?" Boruto questioned the Nintendo heroes, but from their perplexed looks, they clearly didn't know. "Ever heard of Black Air Force Energy?" Their expressions remained unchanged. "Pharaoh, back me up here."
"Truth be told, I only know of him from my time in Jump Force," Yami admitted. "But if Goku thinks this is a good idea, we should put our trust in our friends."
Just then, an alarm sounded, alerting the remaining guards to their position. Whatever decision with the prisoner had to be made quickly.
"So what do we do?" Fox turned to Samus, awaiting her orders.
Samus thought for a few seconds before making her choice. "We've got a job to do." She looked back into the void at the prisoner, and though his hands were shackled and his head restraints concealed his face, he was still recognizable from his spiky, waist-length black hair and crimson armor with protective guards on his chest, waist, shoulders, and thighs. "We're not leaving without him."
Back on the streets, Goku, Link, Medaka and Min Min stood in a circle, backs facing each other, holding their ground against Cooler Ganon's forces.
"We can't hold these guys off forever," said Min Min as she flip kicked a Soul Reaper upward.
"Samus knows what she's doing," Goku reassured her while blocking the blade of another Soul Reaper with his bare hand.
"They're a small team. Agile. They'll get the job done," Medaka added.
Emma contacted Goku through an earpiece that Goku needed to fidget around a bit before answering, not being accustomed to using such technology. "Goku, we're out of time. He's here," said Emma through the comm in her ear.
"You see Cooler Ganon?" Goku asked her.
"I've got a clear shot."
"Take it."
Emma nocked a trick arrow into her bow and took aim at Cooler Ganon levitating in the air in front of her. She let the arrow fly, taking out two airborne Metal Coolers as the arrow split into three. However, Cooler Ganon fired purple lasers from his eyes and destroyed the incoming projectile before it could pierce his head.
Wielding a Gloom Sword in his right hand, Cooler Ganon threw off his cape with his free hand.
"Let's go, everyone!" Goku rallied, leading the charge as he and the other heroes engaged with Cooler Ganon.
"Doriyah!" Cooler Ganon yelled as Goku narrowly avoided a downward swing from his katana. Goku tried to retaliating with a quick ki blast, but Cooler Ganon batted it back with a mere flick of his hand, blasting Goku with his own projectile. Ichigo sent a Getsuga Tensho his way with his smaller sword, but Cooler Ganon also reflected it, this time directing it towards Emma, slashing her in the shoulder before she could launch another arrow at him. With his other hand, Metal Cooler threw an explosive ki blast at Ichigo, blowing him up with a Particle Bomb.
Medaka's hair turned black and grew drastically as she entered her End God Mode. Cooler Ganon jumped out of the way as Medaka launched herself at him at supersonic speed. However, that Medaka was a mere clone and the real Medaka used the slip stream created by her clone to optimize her speed, utilizing her Kurokami Final technique. Medaka tried to blitz Cooler Ganon in his blind spot, but he reacted faster, ensnaring her neck with his tail before electrocuting her and dropping a metal pillar on her head.
As Cooler Ganon landed, Yoshi lashed his tongue out at him, but Cooler Ganon caught it. He pulled Yoshi toward him, punching him about like a tetherball several times before violently slamming him into the ground twice. Soaring high into the air, Cooler Ganon swung Yoshi around at high speed before finally letting go of his tongue, sending the dinosaur through several buildings before crashing into a wall. Adding insult to injury, Cooler Ganon fastfell to the ground, using Yoshi's back to break his fall.
"You'll pay for that!" Min Min yelled, latching on to Cooler Ganon with her ARMS. She tried to pull him in for a kick, but a sharp swerve from Cooler Ganon sent her tumbling to the ground hard, forcing her to let go. Cooler Ganon raised his Gloom Sword, ready to end her life, but Kirby, still using his Boruto ability, stepped in front of her, blocking the blade with a copy of Boruto's future sword. As their sword clashed, Kirby was smacked on the side by an unexpectedly quick Warlock Punch from Cooler Ganon's free hand, sending him flying and losing his ability.
Cooler Ganon turned towards his next victim and lunged forward, only giving Mario enough time to make the biggest "OH SHIT!" facial expression before being struck. Mario hung suspended in the air by Cooler Ganon's sword, but this time he was actually impaled in the shoulder instead of being held up by his suspenders.
"Armament Hardening: Gum Gum Gatling!" Luffy yelled as he punched rapidly in front of him with hardened black fists. Cooler Ganon casually blocked each punch with his sword, flinging Mario away during his parries. Luffy jumped back, concentrating as he forced his heart to beat to a certain rhythm. Moments later, he induced a transformation as his clothes, hair, and eyebrows turned white, swirly, and billowing, along with his pupils turning red and ring-like as clouds formed around his neck. In his 5th Gear transformation, Luffy stretched his surroundings itself to propel himself towards Cooler Ganon like a slingshot. "Gum Gum Dawn Rocket!" he called out as he stretched his arm out to punch Cooler Ganon's abdomen, but the fused villain anticipated this. Cooler Ganon glowed orange, rendering himself immune to all damage just before Luffy's fist made contact. "Ow!" Luffy cried before blowing on his toonishly enlarged, swollen, and throbbing hand. While Luffy was busy, Cooler Ganon warped behind him with Instant Transmission, slicing him with his Gloom Sword before teleporting and slashing him again, repeating the process until Luffy's body was covered in cuts. Cooler Ganon finished off Luffy by blasting him over the horizon with a Death Wave.
Cooler Ganon powered down and slightly tilted his body to avoid an incoming Kamehameha Wave. He turned to face Goku with Link beside him. "I need you to throw me, Goku!" Link pleaded.
"Huh? Oh, yeah!" Goku said as he realized what Link was planning. Goku crouched and put his hands together as if receiving a volleyball serve. Link stood on Goku's hands as he raised them above his head, catapulting the Hylian over to Cooler Ganon. With a downward thrust of the Master Sword, Ganon's traditional weakness, Link made a direct hit on Cooler Ganon's chest. But to Goku's utter shock, Cooler Ganon completely tanked the attack by doing absolutely nothing, with Link laid out in front of him as if fell smack into a brick wall. Cooler Ganon triumphantly placed a foot on Link's back.
"And now you shall lose your other arm, but this time the old fashioned way," Cooler Ganon said as he rose his Gloom Sword. Before he could strike his sword down, Cooler Ganon was electrocuted by a Tesla coil gun, courtesy of Senku. Unfazed, Cooler Ganon glared at Senku before telekinetically heaving a stone at bullet speed into his torso. Fortunately for Senku, he wore body armor made from repurposed telephone parts underneath his shirt, cushioning the blow enough for him to survive the attack.
Having enough of seeing his allies fall one by one, Goku powered up into his Super Saiyan Blue transformation. "KAIOKEN TIMES TWENTY!" He screamed at the top of his lungs as he further accumulated his strength, radiating a red aura. "KAMEHAMEHA!" Goku unleashed a destructive beam of ki from his cupped hands. Cooler Ganon flew straight into the Kamehameha Wave, to Goku's utter disbelief, traveling through the wave unharmed until he reached Goku, walloping him in the face with an overhand. Cooler Ganon continued with his assault with a knee to Goku's gut and an elbow strike to his back, literally burying him into the ground before kicking him with a Wizard's Foot while he was down twice. Goku reverted back to his base form as he drifted out of consciousness.
Before Cooler Ganon could savor his victory, Chad tried to punch him with an armored arm from behind, while Uryu flanked Cooler Ganon's side, fixating his Spirit Bow at him. Cooler Ganon flung Malice from both hands, splashing Chad and Uryu with it and interrupting their attacks.
Still sore and bleeding all over, Ichigo could only watch from the ground as the Malice spread across Chad and Uryu's bodies, corrupting them until they're fully under Cooler Ganon's control. "No," Ichigo cried weakly.
Cooler Ganon laughed evilly. "Through harnessing the negative energies stored inside the two Dragon Balls in our possession, our Malice has been enhanced, transcending its limitations of only infecting machines. You really should tell that miserable Saiyan and his friends to stop abusing the Dragon Balls."
"So, that was how you were able to take control of all the Soul Reapers!" Ichigo surmised.
"Indeed. And you still dare to challenge us, substitute Soul Reaper?"
"You bet your ass I do," Ichigo declared as he suddenly gained a second wind, rising to his feet. He merged his two swords together, with the smaller sword forming the inner part of the larger sword, now turned white, whilst Ichigo also transformed to his Merged Hollow Form, forming dark marks on the left side of his face and growing a long, forward-pointing horn on the left side of his head. "Min Min, back me up." Min Min staggered to Ichigo's side, in pain but in far better shape than everyone else. "I'll kick your ass and free everyone from your mind control!" Ichigo pointed his sword threateningly at the villain.
Cooler Ganon chuckled in amusement. "Fools, our will is law. WE'LL CRUSH YOU!" A Soul Reaper stood beside him, ready to fight for his new master.
As the Soul Reaper engaged Min Min, Ichigo used a bit of his blood as a catalyst to forming a Gran Ray Cero. Combining it with a Getsuga Tensho, Ichigo sent a massive and powerful slashing attack Cooler Ganon's way, who swatted it away with minimal effort.
"Is that your best? It's our turn now," Cooler Ganon declared. Using the negative energy within the Six-Star Ball to augment his power of the air, Cooler Ganon blew Ichigo into a nearby wall with a razor-sharp wind tornado. With Ichigo still pinned, Cooler Ganon threw a giant spear made of water into his stomach.
Meanwhile, the Soul Reaper swung his sword at Min Min, who dodged and retaliated with a kick, leaving him off-balance long enough for Min Min to grab him. She pulled him in, jumping up to kick him in the chest several times before shoving him aside, charging up her left Dragon ARM. The Soul Reaper cautiously kept his eye on Min Min's left ARM, failing to notice her Megawatt right ARM until it was too late. While he was dazed from the blow to the head, Min Min blasted him with her charged Dragon ARM, knocking him out.
"Don't think we forgot about you, noodle arms!" said Cooler Ganon, placing his hands on the ground. Tapping into the negative energy inside the Seven-Star Ball, Cooler Ganon created a concentrated energy blast underground that erupted right below Min Min. The continuous flow of energy kept Min Min in the air long enough for Cooler Ganon to aim a red laser at her. After a long charge period, Cooler Ganon shot Min Min with a Death Beam combined with an explosive Guardian laser.
"NO! It's not over yet, Cooler Ganon!"
"What!?" Cooler Ganon exclaimed, seeing Goku slowly get back up on his feet through sheer willpower alone. Goku spontaneously transformed again, this time his hair and eyes turned silver and his body radiated a white, blue, and purple aura that emitted rising sparkling particles. The sheer power of the transformation shredded Goku's shirt, exposing his toned body as a certain song started playing in the background.
"You don't stand a chance against me," Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku said with clarity.
"Whoo hoo! It's Ultra Instinct!" Min Min cheered.
"Yeah! You're screwed now, Cooler Ganon!" Ichigo yelled mockingly.
Go go go go go the distance
"We let you live long enough! DIE!" Cooler Ganon yelled as he transformed his hand into a gun and shot a barrage of blue energy blasts at Goku.
No no no no way we'll give in
Without needing to think, Goku instinctively avoided each of the blasts gracefully while still advancing towards Cooler Ganon. Spotting a slight opening in the bombardment of projectiles, Goku flew towards the fused villain at unfathomable speed, fist raced.
Fight fight in the ultimate bat-
Cooler Ganon easily blocked Goku's punch with one finger, instantly stopping his theme music.
"WHAT!?" Goku exclaimed.
"Yeah, I know the feeling," said Ichigo.
In the next moment, Cooler Ganon, to everyone's shock, sliced Goku's midsection with a sword slash so fast, Goku couldn't perceive it. He collapsed from the pain and blood loss, dropping out of his Ultra Instinct form.
"Pathetic. We didn't even need to use our own transformations to defeat the lot of you," Cooler Ganon bragged.
"Wait, transformations. As in plural?" Min Min gulped.
"You're bluffing!" yelled Ichigo.
Cooler Ganon smirked and put his arms to his sides. His metal body turned gold as he increased his power.
"Well, that shoots my theory out the window," Ichigo admitted.
But Cooler Ganon didn't stop there, powering up even more until he transformed again, this time his lower body, arms, neck, and face, sans his nose and mouth, turned black, while the rest of his body reverted back to normal. Laughing evilly, Cooler Ganon eye lasered Min Min in the chest and slashed Ichigo with his Gloom Sword, sending them both down for good.
"Pitiful. And this still isn't even our final form. Do you see now, how powerless you truly are?" said Cooler Ganon in a mocking tone as he went back to his base form. Ichigo's Zanpakuto landed in front of him, and he weakly tried to reach for its handle, only for Cooler Ganon to stomp on his hand. "Weep not for your friends, Ichigo Kurosaki. They have achieved perfection, and soon you shall join them." Releasing Malice from his hand, Ichigo groaned as he was exposed to the substance.
Before the Malice could take effect on Ichigo, Cooler Ganon was shot from behind by a ball of energy, though it bounced off his body harmlessly. "Miss Aran, did you have something to add? Some great insight?" Cooler Ganon asked Samus without turning his back from her.
"You're going down, Cooler Ganon!" Samus yelled.
"That's it? Another banal cliché? It's fitting that those would be your final words." Finally, turning around, Cooler Ganon raised his index finger and quickly gathered a giant sphere of sun colored ki mixed with fire above him. Cooler Ganon threw the Supernova Cooler towards Samus, which slowly homed in on its target until Goku, with the last of his strength, teleported next to it and kicked it far away. A few seconds later, a huge fiery explosion decimated a huge area several towns over. While Cooler Ganon was distracted, Fox scooped up Ichigo and carried him away with the incredible speed of his Fox Illusion. Cooler Ganon only looked back as they disappeared from his sight.
"I don't think I have the strength for another Instant Tramsmission. You're going to have to get us out of here," Goku informed Yami as he leaned on him for support.
"With pleasure, Goku," said Yami as he opened a portal in the ground directly in front of him. The entire coalition of heroes scrambled into the portal, taking them all back to their base in Yorkdonk City.
Cooler Ganon made no attempt to stop the heroes from escaping. Instead, he stood there and laughed sinisterly as the portal closed behind them. "Good," he said ominously.
