"I can't believe that idiot cop wrote me a ticket for jaywalking! Doesn't she realize that I'm pregnant?"

"Unfortunately yes and so does everyone else here in Café Nervosa! Dear God, Roz! What were you thinking, giving her a piece of your mind?"

Roz sighed. "I don't know, Frasier! I'm so…"

"Emotional?"

"That's an understatement!" She glanced at the ticket and her eyes widened at the price. "I can't afford this! I'm pregnant! And I'm going to be a mother!" When

she started to cry, Frasier scooted his chair closer and put his arm around her. "What am I going to do?"

"I'll tell you what you're going to do. You're going to give me that ticket and I'll pay it for you."

"Oh Frasier, I didn't mean for you to do that!"

"I know, but I'm going to and nothing you can say will stop me, is that understood?"

"Thank you, Frasier." She took his handkerchief and dried her eyes, hugging Frasier tightly. He could be the most egotistical man, but he always knew how to make

her feel better. And that's why she loved him.
