Chapter 12
Arena 3: Sakyu Basu vs Inkyu Basu.
Inkyu
"Hey, sister."
Sakyu
"Yes, dear sister?"
Inkyu
"Promise that you won't go easy on me in this fighting tournament. Cause I really want to see how strong you are."
Sakyu
"I promise."
Inkyu
"Good. Cause if you go easy on me again like you always do, then I'll never speak to you ever again!"
Sakyu
"Calm down, dear sister. I already told you that I'll give you everything I've got. But don't forget that we still got a mission to do."
Inkyu
"I know that."
Sakyu
"Okay, now that we're done with the chit chat, show me what you got, dear sister!"
The two sisters goes into their fighting stances.
Announcer
"Begin!"
Inkyu
"(Time to show my sister the true power of the Kanzuki-Ryu style!)"
Sakyu sprint towards Inkyu and tries to perform an elegant Piercing Thorn kick on her. Piercing Thorn is a type of kick where Sakyu performs a spinning drop kick on her opponent. Inkyu was able to block Sakyu's kick with her arms. But, Sakyu's Piercing Thorn kick was still strong enough to slightly bruise Inkyu's arms and knock her back. After blocking Sakyu's kick, Inkyu dashes forward towards Sakyu and tries to deliver an upward palm strike on her. Sakyu avoids the palm strike by doing a simple backflip. After the backflip, Inkyu once again dashes forward towards Sakyu. This time, Inkyu twists around and tries to thrust her back onto Sakyu. Sakyu dodges Inkyu's back attack by performing a front flip jump which made her land in front of Inkyu. After that dodge, Sakyu uses the Autumn Wind kick on Inkyu. Autumn Wind is another type of kick where Sakyu executes a reverse slide kick that ends with a powerful back kick to knock her opponent down. Inkyu wasn't able to block nor dodge on time and ends up getting knocked to the ground by Sakyu's Autumn Wind kick. The Autumn Wind kick gave Inkyu a bruised leg and a bruised chin.
Sakyu
"Finished already?"
Inkyu gets up, wipe some blood off on her mouth and slightly smirks at her sister.
Inkyu
"Not yet."
Sakyu
"Okay then."
Inkyu uses Ki to temporary boost her attack and strength before going back into her fighting stance.
Sakyu
"So you've decided to use Ki? Very well, then. I'll use it too."
Sakyu also uses Ki to temporary boost her attack and strength. After that, Sakyu run towards Inkyu and tries to attack her with the Lashing Iris technique. Lashing Iris is a move where Sakyu will perform a spin before unleashing a backhand strike. Sakyu however, missed since Inkyu dodged the Lashing Iris technique by ducking. After dodging Sakyu's Lashing Iris technique, Inkyu performs the Gurun Hosho technique. Gurun Hosho is a special attack where Inkyu steps forward while launching up to three palm strikes. The third palm strike will knock the opponent back if executed successfully. Sakyu was unable to block on time and was hit and knocked to the ground by Inkyu's Gurun Hosho. Despite getting knocked to the ground, Sakyu immediately gets back up.
Inkyu
"You alright, sister!?"
Sakyu
"I'm fine, dear sister."
Inkyu then realized that Sakyu's mouth was covered in blood.
Inkyu
"You sure? Cause there's quite a lot of blood coming out of your mouth right now!"
Sakyu
"Probably because your palm strikes combined with Ki had did some considerable damage to my chest."
Inkyu slightly gulped
Sakyu
"But I can still continue to fight nonetheless."
Sakyu sprints forward towards Inkyu and tries to use the Broken Heart strike on her. Broken Heart is an attack where Sakyu performs a powerful double palm strike to the opponent's midsection. Inkyu evades Sakyu's Broken Heart technique by side stepping to the right. After that, Inkyu grabs Sakyu and tries to perform the Arakuma Inashi throw. Arakuma Inashi is a unique throw where Inkyu will attempt to grab her opponent; if successful, she knees them twice then drops them to the ground. Sakyu was able to successfully break and escape Inkyu's Arakuma Inashi throw though. After that escape, Inkyu performs another Gurun Hosho on Sakyu. Sakyu blocks the two palm strikes with her arms. For Inkyu's third palm strike from the Gurun Hosho technique, Sakyu dodges the third palm strike by performing a front flip jump which made her land behind Inkyu. Inkyu immediately turns around and tries to hit Sakyu's back head with a simple palm strike. Sakyu avoids Inkyu's palm strike by ducking. She then performs the Peacock Jive on Inkyu. Peacock Jive is a combo where Sakyu executes a graceful back kick to her opponent's thigh. It is then followed by a single punch and a powerful left roundhouse kick in an elegant manner. Inkyu couldn't block nor dodge the Peacock Jive on time and was hit and knocked to the ground. Inkyu tries to get up but was unable to since one of her thighs was badly damaged by Sakyu.
Sakyu
"Withdraw, sister. The fight is over."
Inkyu
"No, sister. I can still fight!"
Sakyu
"I'm afraid you can't continue anymore. You are currently out of stamina and your thigh may be fractured."
Inkyu looks at her badly bruised thigh and sighs.
Inkyu
"I guess you're right, sister. I lost this match. But nonetheless, I'm still happy."
Sakyu
"You are?"
Inkyu
"Yeah, because I was finally able to witness your full strength. Plus, you didn't go easy on me this time. So, I'll happily accept my defeat."
Sakyu gave Inkyu a friendly smile.
Announcer
"Since Inkyu has been down for more than 10 seconds and has accept defeat, the winner of Arena 3 goes to Sakyu Basu!"
Sakyu
"Let's get you out of this arena, sister. Can you stand?"
Inkyu
"I don't think so."
Sakyu
"Then I'll carry you. Hop on my back, sister."
Sakyu carried Inkyu out of Arena 3. After safely carried Inkyu out of the arena, Sakyu moves on to the next arena.
