Preface
Long before Edward met Bella and their story along with the rest of the Cullen family's captured us all into a dreamstate of teen obsession, there was another story that went untold.
Edward Cullen met Isabella Swan in 2005, he was 104 years old, she a mere 17. The story portrays him as a lonely soul who has spent his life longing for a companion. Watching all of his adoptive siblings find love whilst he remains alone. However, in reality, Edward wasn't always alone. The story tells us how Edward spent a decade in the 1920's rebelling against the teachings of Carlisle, how he went rampant and told himself he was executing justice to those deserving of it. The story however, does not go as the books tell. He did not come out of this rebellion on his own.
In the 1920's, in the midst of a bloody rampage, Mr. Cullen met a beautiful young woman. A young girl, merely 20 years old, with honey blonde hair and hazel eyes that sparkled even on the gloomiest of days. A brilliant smile, with the deepest dimples, that could light up any room. This young woman became his saviour. Showing him that life is nothing but what we make of it. Their friendship was instant and familiar, their love felt as if their souls had been lost, wandering alone in the dark until they stumbled upon one another and the light became no longer obscured.
