Last time, Ash and his new friends have reached Viridian City. But after getting Pikachu and Froakie in treatment, Team Rocket and some old enemies of Littlefoot and his friends had attacked the Pokemon Center. But working together with his Pokemon, Ash had gotten them down.

The next morning, after a talk with his mother, an old friend from Ash's past named Serena was coming to Kanto and Ash was eager to see her.

After breakfast and some shopping in the city, Ash gathered up everyone at the airport. As they waited for Serena's plain to arrive, Ash told Littlefoot and his friends what airplanes were and what types there are.

"So you fly on big plane?" Petrie asked.

"Yeah. I never been on a plain before. But I know what they're like and what types were used for."

"So, how did you meet this friend of yours?" Misty asked.

"It all started at Professor Oak's summer camp. Both of us had gotten separated form the groop."

(Flashback)

A young girl with long honey blond hair and blue eyes wearing a pink dress and straw summer hat was walking in the forest after getting separated.

"Where is everybody?" She asked.

Just then, she heard a sound in the bushes and fell over and hurt her knee. And then, a Polliwag leaped out and passed her. And now she got upset.

"I knew I didn't want to come to camp. I knew it! MOMMY!"

Just then, the bushes shook again and scared her. Until, a younger Ash Ketchum emerged from it.

"Polliwag?" He called to the Pokemon he was looking for. Until he saw the girl all hurt. "Hey. Are you alright?"

The girl shivered.

"Hi. I'm Ash. Who are you?"

"uh...Serena."

"What's wrong?"

"I hurt my leg."

"Don't worry." Ash said as he pulled out a handkerchief. "See this? This will make it feel better."

And then, he wrapped it around her knee.

"All done. Now watch this." He said as he began to wave his hands like he was casting a magic spell. And said, "Feel better. Feel better, right away!"

When he was done, Serena tried to stand up. But fell back down.

"I still hurt. I can't stand up."

"Don't give up until it's over. Okay?" Ash said as he held out his hand. "Come on."

Ash then grabbed her hand and pulled her up. And she was standing.

"There you go." Ash said smiling. "I think we should be getting back to the campsite. Okay? Come on."

And off they went to the campsite. And thus, beginning a new friendship.

(Flashback end)

"Wow." Said Littlefoot. "That's some story. You must be really happy to see her again."

"Of course he is." Said Misty. "Ash is so excited to see his girlfriend again."

Ash blushed in embracement. Yes he does have feelings for Serena. But he wasn't ready to admit them yet.

Just then, Serena was now arriving. Her long hair was now in a long back ponytail. And she was wearing a pink dress with a black lace and a sparkly black bolero with a white heart. She was also wearing pink tights and light pink Mary Janes. And on her head was a red Fedora hat.

"Hey. It's Ash. I knew I'd remember him." She said when she saw him. "But, who's that girl with him?"

"Come on Ash. I can tell you love her." Misty said getting closer to him.

"Yeah. There's no hiding the romance between you two." Said Cera.

"Misty! Cera! Cut it out!" Littlefoot shouted. "You shouldn't be teasing Ash like that."

And Spike groaned in his way of agreeing with Littlefoot.

Serena can tell by the looks of it that this girl was just friends with him. But what really got to her were the dinosaurs with him.

Still, she walked over without them noticing. As soon as she did,

"Hey Ash. Do you...remember me?"

As soon as she spoke, Ash turned to her. And when he did, he jumped and tackled her into a hug as they fell over.

"I never forgot about you Serena." He said.

"Ah romance. So mysterious." Said Cera.

"And so cute." Said Misty.

"Knock it off you two." Said Chomper.

"Hey." Said Froakie. "Didn't Ash say she's from the Kalos Region?"

"He did." Said Pikachu.

As soon as they let go, Ash introduced Serena to Misty and the young dinosaurs. And after that, Littlefoot explained about what happened during their game of Hide and Seek in the Secret Caverns.

"So that's you guys got here?" Ash asked. "From a giant rock that looked like a PokeBall?"

"I hope Strongtooth and Spiny and Fang and Mina are alright." Said Chomper.

"I'm sure they are. We'll all work together and find them as well as your families." Ash said with pride.

"Really? You'll help us?" Littlefoot asked.

"Why not? After all, it's fun to travle with friends."

Once outside, Serena had the chance to show Ash her Pokemon. First was Fennekin, the fox Pokemon and the fire type starter from Kalos. Froakie was glad to see a fellow Pokemon from Kalos. But immediately, Feenekin had began to fall in love with Froakie without the others knowing just yet.

While she was out of her ball, Ash took the opportunity to use his Dex to scan her.

"Fennekin. The fox Pokemon. A fire type. As it walks, It eats twigs as a snack to fill itself with energy and its roomy ears give vent to air hotter than 390 degrees Fahrenheit to intimidate its opponents."

Another Pokemon Serena had was Sylveon. The fairy evolution of Eevee. It amazed Misty to see a different Eeveelotion Pokemon the moment Ash scanned her.

"Sylveon. The Intertwining Pokemon. A fairy type. Sylveon is an evolved form of Eevee. By releasing enmity-erasing waves from its ribbonlike feelers, Sylveon stops any conflict. In the Gala region, there are fairy tales about a beautiful Sylveon vanquishing a dreadful dragon Pokemon."

"Oh how cute." She said.

Little did they know that Sylveon had began to fall in love with Pikachu. Except for Littlefoot of course.

"I can see that Sylveon has feelings for Pikachu. Of course Fennekin also has feelings for Froakie." He said as the gang was just about to walk into Viridian Forest.

Just as they did, Ash's backpack began to shake.

"Huh? What's going on?" He asked as he opened it.

Just then, the rare Pokemon that Littlefoot had put in it had zoomed out quickly. Only for it to bump into Serena as they both fell over. As they did, one of Serena's empty PokeBalls rolled onto it and the moment it went inside,

DING!

"What was that?" Serena asked as she opened the ball and let the rare Pokemon out. "Who's that Pokemon?"

However, Ash knew excactly who that Pokemon was.

"I think that's the legendary Pokemon Mew."

"Legendary?" Ruby asked.

"Legendary Pokemon are so rare that they're only one of a kind. Like Mew and Ho-oh. Mew's supposed to have the DNA of all Pokemon. Legend has it that she was the first Pokemon created by the very first Pokemon to ever exist. Arceus."

"No way." Said Cera. "If Mew's supposed to be a rare Pokemon, then what's she doing here?"

"Professor Oak said she's supposed to live deep within the Jungle. But if she's here, then who knows?"

"Yeah. I found her out cold outside the Pokemon Center." Said Littlefoot. "So I put her in your backpack and forgot to tell you that."

"Okay." Ash said to him.

Mew listened to what Littlefoot had said. And she was shocked that he placed her in there.

"Hey." She said as she flew around him. "So you put me in there? Why did you do it? I can't even stand going inside of PokeBall."

"Oh. You hate being confined?" Serena asked.

"Of course I...YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME?!"

Ash's eyes went wide. Does this mean Serena's an Aura User too?

"I can understand you too." Said Littlefoot.

"So can I." Said Cera.

"Petire understand you too." Said Petrie.

"If I can't understand you, then you wouldn't be talking because I can't understand you." Said Ruby.

"I can also understand you. Yep yep yep." Said Ducky as Spike nodded meaning he can also understand what Mew is saying.

"Even I can understand you." Said Chomper.

Ash snapped his fingers knowing what this means.

"I think I know how. I just found out I'm not the only Aura User around here. I can help you learn how it works."

(Team Rocket HQ)

"Where is Mew?!" Giovanni shouted at a woman with orange hair in pigtails and a man with blue green hair. "You said you captured her!"

"Sir. It was because of all the dinosaurs popping in out of nowhere that," The woman tried to say but,

"I don't wanna hear excuses Cassidy! Turns out you and Butch are just like Jessie and James!"

"Don't compare us to those weaklings." Said Butch.

"You're just as weak as they are! For my plans to proceed, I need rare and valuable Pokemon! And while you're at it, I've gotten word that the son of an old enemy of mine had prevented Jessie and James from raiding the Pokemon Center. His name is Ash Ketchum. I'm sending all my best men to capture him. And you two are also assigned for this job. So don't fail me again!"

"Yes sir." Both of them said as they walked out of the office.

As soon as they were gone, Giovanni walked into a lab next door. From inside was a humanoid Pokemon wearing what looked like an armor.

'As soon as Mewtwo's psychic powers are perfected, that boy is going down. And then I'll finally have my revenge on Red.' He thought with an evil grin on his face.

And now there's Mew. It was thanks to Littlefoot that Mew is now part of Serena's team. And yes. Ash will get a legendary as well. But with Mew on Serena's team, what's going to happen when we get to the first movie? We'll find out soon.
