The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

Thea still didn't know what to make of the strange alien man.

There were times she found him to be utterly amusing. Yet, there are times she still was nervous around him. Despite the fact he said he wouldn't harm her and has yet to do so.

Observing him watching one of her favorite t.v. shows was fairly entertaining.

While he found the show entertaining, he also thought some things were ridiculous. Mainly how such creatures could never exist. Despite the fact they seem neat.

Of course, he did thoroughly enjoy all the fight scenes in which the show itself has a ton of.

Setg-in stayed for quite some time that evening. Even after it got dark. Thea noted he was very curious about a lot of things. But then, when you were on alien world, how could anyone not be overly curious about it?

She knows for a fact, that she'd be just as curious as him if she found herself on an alien world.

Though when the young woman asked more about him, his race, and his world, he wasn't very forthcoming about answering those questions.

In truth, he felt he maybe shouldn't have stayed as long as he had or went into the home for that matter.

But he kept reminding himself that he was injured and hungry. That the extent of his injuries at this time would've made it difficult to hunt for food.

His current issue now was, where would he go or where would he stay for the time being.

The warrior kept trying to deny or refuse the fact that he could be stuck here indefinitely. After all, he no longer had a ship. Thanks to the other bad bloods blowing holes in it right before he was able to do a space jump.

Setg-in thinks he could possibly stay out in the woods. But is unsure where he could hideout in them. As dense as the foliage was, it still didn't look like the forest was that big.

Right before he crashed, he noted there were a lot of breaks in the woods, and areas around or in between the forest were pretty built up. He's unsure if there were any caves or other hiding places he could hide away during his down time.

He steered the ship this way because it was situated in the biggest part of the forest. But even then, the forest itself looks like it didn't stretch more than a few miles.

The yautja almost contemplated using her shed as a place to go when he needed some rest. But even if he didn't tell her about his usage of it, he still didn't know how often she utilized the shed.

And he didn't want her stumbling upon him again in her shed next time she opened the door while he's in there.

"You, ok? You seem pretty quiet these last few minutes and seem like you have a lot on your mind." Thea pointed out.

His bright amber gaze shifted from the blank screen of the t.v. she just turned off to him.

Setg-in honestly didn't know how to answer that. Hell, there were a lot of questions she asked that he felt he couldn't answer for one reason or another.

Probably because his current situation keeps reminding him about how lost he truly is.

A part of him so much wants to convey to the ooman female that his dilemma is that he has no place to go. But believes it to be a bad idea to inform her that he was literally a sitting duck stuck on her world.

'She came this far with helping me and never notified anyone. And she had ample opportunity to do so on many occasions. Especially, while I was passed out. But putting my trust in another, is what got me into the position I'm in now and made me lose my status as a hunter.' He thought.

Setg-in realized she was still waiting patiently for an answer. And he swore he saw concern flash through her bright blue orbs.

"Something is bothering you. Isn't it? She says softly.

He slowly closes his eyes and lets out a deep exhale.

He doesn't want to, but he needs to hold onto a little faith that this young ooman female can be trusted. He alfer all, doesn't have many options.

"I...don't have place stay." Setg-in finally got out.

Thea was a little surprised by his answer.

"What about your ship? Surely you can stay there. Can't you?" She inquires.

He paused for several seconds, trying to find the right words to use.

"Ship gone. No...ship." He admitted.

The young woman was a bit taken aback when she heard this.

"What? What do you mean no ship? Were you dropped off here? Is it damaged?" She asks.

Setg-in did toy with the idea of telling her he was 'dropped' off. But he doesn't see how it may be a better answer than the actual truth. That the ship was destroyed.

Either way, she'd know he was along here without a source of transportation to bring him back home.

He mentally snorted. Home? What home? He was chased off of home world because of the ones he associated with. Bad bloods were not welcome on home world. To go back, meant certain death.

"Ship destroyed when come here. No ship." Setg-in finally confessed.

Upon hearing this, Thea actually felt bad for him. The tone of his voice, the lost look in his eyes when he conveyed this to her.

"Can...stay in shed for now?" He asks.

First he tells her he lost his ship, now the poor guy was asking her if he could use her shed to stay in.

She sighed, sometimes, she hates the fact that she has a big heart.

"You don't have to stay in the shed. I have an extra room here in the house you can use." Thea told him.

It was his turn to be taken aback.

'This ooman female hulij-bpe? Doesn't she realize I could easily kill her? Not that I would. But still, how could she offer such a suggestion?' He thought.

He shook his, "No impose."

The young woman gave him a small smile.

"You're not. I offered. If I thought that to be the case, I wouldn't have suggested it." She said.

Though the rational part of her mind is calling her everything from fucking stupid to insane at that idea.

Perhaps despite how large and intimidating he looks; she can't help but feel he was sincere when he said he wouldn't hurt her. And her instincts have yet to steer her wrong so far.

She probably feels safer with him than someone else she refuses to say by name.

Setg-in continued on in silence for quite some time, before he finally gave her an answer.

"Ok. But what about other oomans? Don't want see me." He stated.

"It's just me here. And I don't tend to get a lot of guests. This whole property is mine. It stretches on many acres of land. So, no one else is around. You won't find anyone else in this neck in the woods." Thea replied.

Again, the rational part of her is screaming what is wrong with her!? And that she may as well be digging her own grave at this point!

"But can trust you?" He inquires.

"As long as you don't...try to hurt me, I won't tell anyone about you." She said.

'Sounds fair, I suppose. Considering I wouldn't harm her. Unless she tries to harm me in any way.' He surmised.

"Won't hurt. You help me." Setg-in stated.

"Ok then." She says, before pausing.

"Want me to show you to the spare room then?" She adds.

He nodded.

Thea stood up from the couch and motioned for him to follow her.

The tall warrior got up and started to follow her. She led him out of the living room and to the stairs. Where he proceeded to follow her up to the second level.

The young woman led him down the hall, before they came to a stop at the second doorway on the left.

The door was already wide open when she led him inside. He looked around at the new surroundings. There were a few pieces of furniture cluttering the room.

There was a queen size bed back against the center of the wall to the right.

A couple of windows were spaced out on the wall in front of them. And another door that led into a closet. It may not have been the biggest room, but it would suffice.

At this point, he was just grateful that he wouldn't be sleeping out on the ground in the middle of the woods, out in the open.

After looking around, his gaze shifted back to her.

"Thank you." He told her.

A soft smile appeared on her face.

"You're welcome. And if you need anything, let me know. Just knock on my door down the hall on the right." She replied.

He gave her a sharp nod.

"I'll let you get some rest then. I'm also headed off to sleep. So, I'll see you in the morning. Good night." Thea told him.

She gazed at him for a second longer, before she left the room to go to hers.

Only when he heard her door closing, did he speak.

"Good night, Thea." He said.

Setg-in closed the door to his new room.

He then approached the bed and started taking off his weapons and armor. Every now and then he'd wince when he moved the wrong way and aggravating his wounds.

Once he finally got down to his loincloth, he turned down the covers and got in bed.

The hunter laid there for a while. His gaze shifting every now and then from the ceiling to the windows. It was a clear night out there. The storm seems to have completely passed at this point and now the soft pale light of the full moon was coming through and lighting the dark room in a soft glow.

So many thoughts running rampant in his mind.

He mourned for the life and honor he lost. He mourned the fact he could never return home. And when it couldn't get any worse, the group of bad bloods he did find himself with, ended up trying to kill him for doing the right thing.

Setg-in believed he was simply cursed with the worst luck in the universe. Just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, he finds himself injured and stranded on this backwater world.

But it seems through all the darkness and despair, there was a tiny light that appeared. And it made him start to feel less lost.

That light came in the form of this small ooman female. Who for whatever reason disregarded the risks and decided to aid him and share her home with him. And for the first time in a long time, he felt a small sense of happiness.

As the bright white moon continued to shine up above amidst the darkness, his eyes slowly drifted shut, and he fell asleep.

Until Next Time ;)
