Here's my attempt at making fanfiction for Record of Ragnarok, I've seen the anime and read the manga and even Khaylittle's work and enjoy all of it. I hope you enjoy and what's to come for this fanfic.

Prologue: The Chance of a Lifetime and Declaration of War!?
Across all realms of space and time there lies life and as such that life advances, an entire collection of multiverses with different flows of history. And that history is in danger, but by what? An intergalactic threat? A planetary virus? A dimensional invasion? No, no, and no! It was by the very beings that helped create them, the Gods themselves.
This very decision was being made in Valhalla, located in a part of Heaven that was own by the Norse Pantheon, what lay below it was Earth or Migard to most Norse Gods, and below that was Hell or Helheim or the Underworld or Netherrealm, where all Demons and Gods of the Dead lay in and either, guarded, torture, or withhold the souls of the Damned.
"Big Sister… and Lady Freya, they're starting now." Goll said she was the youngest Valkyrie of 13 Elite Sisters.
"It seems so, let us go then." Freya said to two, she was the Norse Goddess of Love and Fertility, the Queen of Asgard, and Former Leader of the Valkyries. She had a mature look to her, having long brown hair but had a few braids on the left side, fair white skin with a few tattoos of nordic ruins on her hands, arms and shoulders, the classic golden eyes and black sclera that most Norse Gods and Goddesses were known for, she was wearing her former Valkyrie uniform with armor and all. "I hope you know what you're doing, Brunhild." She said to her.
"Of course, Lady Freya… I thought long and hard about this moment." Brunhilde said to her, she was the Eldest Valkyrie and Current Leader of the 13 Elite Sisters.
Right now, in the Court of the Gods the meeting was being held by the Council of Valhalla made up of Supreme Gods or Leader of the Pantheon, all the Gods and Goddesses were talking over what they should do with Humanity, be it they destroy them or spare them.
"Now everyone, it has been 1000 years since we last were here." Zeus said he is the Chairman of the Council of Valhalla, Supreme Greek God of the Sky and Lightning, Leader of the Greek Pantheon, and Strongest God of Olympus. "Show your vote on how we should deal with Humanity as a whole across the multiverse, show we destroy them or spare them? Show me how the Will of the Gods show act." He said, already showing his vote for destroying them.
"I say we just destroy them all, yeah?" Shiva said he is the Hindu God of Destruction, Strongest Destroyer, and Leader of the Hindu Pantheon. "Guiding them has become such a pain and most of them don't even care to listen so let's just destroy them already and focus on some other species of animal." He said, voting for destroying them.
"N-No way." Goll thought, shocked at what was happening.
"Shiva is right about the mortals." Aphrodite said she is the Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty. "Humanity has become too ugly and cruel, they poison their own worlds with pollution, hunt and kill all animals to extinction or near extinction, they are like a living cancer." She said, showing her vote for destroying them.
"Let's not forget how they act and treat each other. Racism, prejudice, discrimination, they treat their fellow man with such hatred and disgust for the most minor differences in thought or physical features." Michael said he is the Archangel of Justice, The Strongest Angel of Heaven, and Commander of the Angel Division for Heaven's Executioners."They rage wars against each other, maim, kill, and slaughter each other of all ages and race with little care." He said, showing his vote for destroying them. He had a muscular and slightly buff body, fair white skin, long white hair, and golden eyes with white stars in them. He wears the traditional white robe of Angels with matching white pants and shoes, his four white wings on display.
"But there have also been those that have been pure and righteous, that is something that can't be ignored, many have shed blood, sweat, and tears for the sake of others. We should give them a chance as even the most vile redeem themselves one way or another." Gabriel said she is the Archangel of Love, The Purest Angel of Heaven, and member of the Council of Valhalla. "And let's not forget that the Gods of each pantheon aren't so clear handed with the amount of divine blood shed in their wars." She said, showing her vote to spare. She had long pinkish blonde hair, fair white skin, a mature and beautiful body, ruby lipstick, and golden eyes with pink stars in them. She wears the same traditional white angel robe as well but she added more flare to it by adding a greek dress and toga to the design and had four wings as well.
"Even so we also can't ignore the amount of sin they have. They emibode all traits of Seven of the Deadly Sins and some even claim to be as strong or stronger then us or outright deny our existences." Uriel said she is Archangel of Wisdom and Prophecy, The Smartest Angel in Heaven, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. "In multiple universes some have even fought against the very gods and slayed them. How long is it until they bring their wars and sins to our realm?" She said, showing her vote to destroy them. She had long platinum blonde hair done in a bun, fair white skin, a lean and toned body, sapphire lipstick, and golden eyes with dark blue stars in them. She wears the same traditional white robes of the angels but added a suit dress and pants that are in the Norse style and four wings as well.
"Grabiel and Uriel make good points, as healer and protector I can't agree with destruction but at the same time the amount of sin is too much but… with the likes of Lucifer, I don't think we are so different from mortals." Raphael said she is the Archangel of Healing and Protection, The Greatest Healer Angel of Heaven, and Doctor for Divine Medical Care. "He was one of the best of us and he gave into sin and as result has fallen into Helheim then sent to Tartarus, can we really judge the mortal so harshly if we ourselves are just as capable of sinning? Of murdering our own flesh and blood? Of betrayal?" She questioned and simply didn't vote. She had greenish blonde hair, fair white skin, a mature and motherly body, emerald lipstick. and golden eyes with green stars in them. She wears the traditional white robe of the angels but over it is her medical robe as well along with four wings.
"I agree with the Archangels of Love and Healing, we Gods are not so different from the mortals as we think. We've waged wars as well, murdered our fellow gods for petty and worthless reasons, and many Gods have been sent to Tartarus to rot like my brother, mind you the War the Greeks waged was due to the murder of Adamas. I say we gave Humanity a chance to redeem themselves." Quetzalcoatl said he is the Supreme Aztec God of Justice, Mercy, and Wind, The Most Fearsome God of the Aztec, Leader of the Aztec Pantheon, Raging Serpent of the Sky, and member of the Council of Valhalla. "Many of them have proven to have the strength to move on and face injustice despite losing many allies and loved ones, it's part of the reason why I never accept sacrifices." He said, showing his vote to spare them. He has a toned and muscular body with tan skin that was decorated with Aztec tattoos in green, yellow and red on his face, chest, arms, and legs, he had green serpent like eyes, and dark brown hair down in a simply braided ponytail. He wore a golden helmet that had dozens of different colored feathers, golden shoulder pads with red cape, a green and golden robe around his waist, and golden Aztec boots.
"Soft as always, Quetzalcoatl. I say we destroy them in a battle to the death!" Huitzilopochtli shouted, he is the Aztec God of War, The Strongest Aztec God, and Violent Beast of the Battlefield. "Humanity is too damn weak and even the strongest among them don't hold a candle to us! I say we should wage all out battle-brawl to the death and kill them all in a shower of blood and guts!" He shouted, showing his vote to destroy them. He had a buff and muscular body covered in scars and Aztec tattoos with red colors on the face, chest, and arms, blue skin, red eyes with black sclera, and short black hair. He wears a helmet with horns and large red and blue feathers, a red Aztec robe, golden Aztec boots and arm-guards.
"Always the brute, Huitzilopochtli. I for one believe that the mortals are quite entertaining to watch and even trick, if we destroy Humanity then the multiverse as a whole will become more boring plus Quetzalcoatl makes good points." Coyote said she is the Aztec Goddess of Trickery, Master of Mystic Aztec Arts, and Hound of Illusions. "Shouldn't be a bit more far here, I mean anything worth the time and effort in creating Humanity should be more thought out. How about we just punished them severely this time around?" She suggested, showing her vote to spare them. She had tan skin, a toned and fit body with beauty to match and Aztec tattoo as well with yellow and orange colors on her arms, legs, and part of her face, yellow eyes of hound, black lipstick, long wild hair in a ponytail. She wears the actual head of a coyote, a golden breastplate and matching Aztec robe with red and green on it around her waist but left a hole for her tail, and was bare footed.
"Punishment wouldn't be enough for them. The need to be dealt with in much more harsh manner, they dry their own planet of all it has and seek to extend this greed beyond the stars. Annihilation is the only way then we'll just have to start all over again." Ra said he is the Supreme Egyptian God of the Sun, Leader of the Egyptian Pantheon, Most Powerful Egyptian God the Sacred Flame, Co-Creator of Humanity, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. "They have proven time and time that they refuse to learn from their actions and at this point the only sensible thing would be to just erase them and give the multiverse time to heal." He said, showing his vote to destroy them. He had a muscular and bulky body covered in scars, a darker tan with a tinge of orange, the head of a bird with glowing yellow eyes, and proud wings similar to a falcon. He wore a nemes headdress, an egyptian robe around his waist, golden bracelets, and large golden necklaces.
"Come now, Lord Ra. We can't be so harsh on them. Yes, many of them have done horrible things but so have us Gods." Isis said she is the Supreme Egyptian Goddess of Healing, The Beloved Head Doctor of Divine Medical Care, Queen of Miracles and Recovery, and member of the Council of Valhalla. "I just can't agree with this, the mortals have so much potential and love for each other and everything around them we should at least give the chance to learn from their mistakes and do better for themselves and all of creation." She said, showing her vote to spare them. She had lovely tan skin, a mature and alluring body, pure golden eyes, and long black hair. She wears an egyptian royal robe alongside a see-through dress decorated with gold and jewels, golden bracelets, a necklace, a golden headband, and golden eyeshadow and lipstick.
"Isis is right, can we really say that Humanity is so far gone when they haven't given the chance. And it's not like we are free from our blood shed or crimes against our fellow Gods." Izanagi said he is the Supreme Japanese God of Creation, Leader of the Japanese Pantheon, The Divine Blade of Heaven, Co-Creator of Humanity, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. "We shouldn't ignore our own sins and the good-deeds of Humanity." He said, showing his vote to spare them. He had fair white skin, pitch black hair down in a noble ponytail, black eyes, and a lean and fit body. He wears a white traditional Japanese kimono, with a golden sash around the waist, and wooden sandals.
"It's quite a lot to consider, Heaven is not perfect by any means but Humanity takes it to the next level of their arrogance and ignorance. It is likely for the best if we have them destroyed in order to keep them from getting too far and too severe for the sake of the multiverse." Marduk said he is the Supreme Babylon Gods of Magic, Leader of the Babylonian Pantheon, Divine Wise Warrior King, and member of the Council of Valhalla. "Let's think about this logically, mortals have a history of bringing about the greatest of calamities, Kratos, Asura, and Spawn, this is only a small handful of troubling beings." He said, showing his vote to destroy them. He had dark brown skin, long purple and black hair, yellow eyes that glowed, and four brown wings. He wears golden bracelets, a dark purple robe around his waist and white pants.
"I care for Humanity but I must agree with destroying them, they are soaked in sin and for decades they have barely done anything to fix it, it is for the best that they are destroyed to purify the multiverse." Lugh said he is the Celtic God of Light and Judgement, Leader of the Celtic Pantheon, Most Holy God of Light, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. "We need to save them from themselves and in a few decades start over and hope for the best." He said, showing his vote to destroy them. He had long blonde hair, golden eyes, fair white skin, and a fit and muscular body. He wears a simple robe around his shoulder, white pants, and metal shoes.
"Humanity is a blight and lost cause, all these decades of guiding them and trying to follow the prepared path for them all for nothing. They only deserve divine punishment for insolence." Perun said he is the Supreme Slavic God of Justice, Leader of the Slavic Pantheon, Ruthless Thunderbolt of Judgement, Strongest Slavic God, member of the Council of Valhalla and Commander for the Slavic Diversion of Heaven's Executioners. "I will personally lead the charge to destroy them if allowed to do so and make sure every last one of them receive the divine punishment they deserve." He said, showing his vote to destroy them. He had a tall and very muscular body that had white skin, a full long white beard, and blue eyes. He wears a dark brown robe with a chain mill, a blue cape, dark blue pants with armored boots, a silver helmet with small wings, gold bracelets with spikes.
"You all make good points but if I were to choose one I say Huitzilopochtli made the most sense. We should just have a huge brawl to the death, sure a one-sided slaughter is a bit boring but the display of power might be fun to at least see, hell I wouldn't mind joining in on the fun." Yu Di said he is the Supreme Chinese God, Leader of the Chinese Pantheon, Jade Emperor of Heaven, and member of the Council of Valhalla. "I don't really care what you all decided to do with them, destroy them or spare them… doesn't matter to me." He said and didn't vote. He had white skin, jade green eyes, long black hair done in a man bun held by two golden pins, a pretty fit and toned muscular body. He wears a jade mouth cover, a white chinese robe with golden and jade color patterns on it and held by black sash, and black sandals.
And so more and more Gods, Goddesses, Demigods, and even Angels voted, a large portion chose to destroy Humanity, a smaller handful chose to spare Humanity, and some just didn't vote at all, the outcome for the fate of Humanity was yet to be decided.
"O-Oh no, is this really it?" Goll thought with shock. "This is what Big Sis said would happen, the Will of the Gods will bring about the end of everything!" She thought in disbelief and fright at this and looked at Brunhild, who remained calm at this and she could only guess what was going through her head at that moment. "Humanity is done for! There is no way to stop the Gods or the Council…" She thought, seeing how hopeless it was.
After counting all the votes, it was decided that Humanity across the Multiverse would be destroyed. A harsh outcome but so said the Council of Valhalla and the Will of the Gods.
"Well I guess it has been decided then." Zeus said, raising his gavel.
"PLEASE WAIT A SECOND!" Brunhilde shouted, getting all of their attention.
"HUUUUUH!?" Goll thought, having a look of complete shock. "What is Big Sis doing!? She can't just interrupt the Will of the Gods!" She thought in a panic.
"Mind your manners… BRUNHILDE!" The White Raven of Odin, he is the Supreme Norse God, All-Father, King of Asgard, Leader of the Nordic Pantheon, and member of the Council of Valhalla. On his shoulders were his raven, one black and one white. "How dare you open your filthy mouth and interrupt the conference of the Gods!" The Black Raven shouted in a harsh manner. "Imbecile half-god." The White Raven insulted.
"Now mind you tones, you puff-up parrots." Freya told the ravens. "I believe it would be in your best interest to hear what Brunhilde has to say first." She stated.
"Thank you, Lady Freya." Brunhilde said with a bow. "I know that Humanity is extremely vulgar, needlessly violent, and utterly hopeless but to just destroy them just like that, isn't that a bit… boring?" She asked the Council and Gods.
"Boring? How so?" Zeus asked her, his intrigue peaked.
"Whether Humanity's survival has any value or not in any universe is beside the point but with the Might of the Gods… why not face them?" Brunhilde suggested.
"Face them? In what way?" Zeus asked her.
"In a battle between Mortal and God or better known as, Ragarok." Brunhilde said in a firm tone.
"R-Ragnarok?" Goll said, confused.
"Valhalla constitution. Article No.62, explained in Paragraph 15 of the super special clause." Brunhilde stated, pulling out the rule book. "Basically a one-on-one showdown between God and Mortal, each side will have 13 combatants the first one claim 7 victories is the winner, if the Gods claims victor then Humanity's fate is sealed and on the off chance that Humanity claims victor then they will be given another 1000 years of survival." She explained then closed the book.
The only reason such a law wasn't never taken seriously was because of the fact the mortals never fight against the Gods, never the most powerful need a bit of divine help to even stand a chance, it was nothing more than a practical joke.
"I don't know what you were thinking but it seems you Valkyries know nothing." The White Raven said rudely. "Mortals are no match for the Gods!" The Black Raven shouted. "Your proposal is pointless!" The two ravens shout at once.
"Yet again you birds run your mouths as if you have any actual power or opinion." Freya said with an annoyed sigh.
"Hey, come now. A big tournament sounds like the perfect way to test our power against each other." Another voice said and this one said familiar.
And at the entrance of the door of the Court of the Gods was none other than Son Goku but he seemed different, he had blue gi, yellow gi pants, and his classic boots. He also has his Saiyan tail which he lets hang out, he seems pretty regular despite the many powerful foes in this room but that only excites him then concerns him.
"Welcome, Son Goku." Brunhilde said the Saiyan Warrior.
"Yo, Brunhilde." Goku said with a wave.
"It seems that there was some confusion, this isn't a simple proposal… but a declaration." Brunhilde told them.
"What kind of declaration?" Ra asked in a serious tone.
"A declaration of war." Freya answered with a smile and this shocked everyone but Brunhilde and Goku.
"Indeed, 13 of the best warriors of Heaven vs. 13 of the best warriors of Humanity across the Multiverse, in an all out battle to decide it all!" Brunhilde proclaimed to the Council.
"HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!?" Goll thought with a look of pure horror.
"Unless… you don't want to face them in the same ring. You want to destroy them and such but don't want to fight them head on at an equal level." Brunhilde said, rubbing her chin. "It can't be that you're… afraid of them?" She asked them all which further added to the shock. "If so then my bad, just forget what I said and continue with your business, let forget all about Ragnarok and just go ahead and destroy Humanity." She said with a shrug.
"Fufufufu, you're laying it on pretty thick." Freya told Brunhilde.
There was silence, no one dear to say a word for there wasn't a word to say, everyone was just proceeding what Brunhilde had told them all, not only had she declared war on the Council and the Gods themselves but also outright called them cowards and mock their very pride! Then a noise could be heard, it was laughter, the laughter of the Gods that echoed through the Court. It was like a father laughing at the childish prank of their child but Brunhilde remain confident because the laughter would die down and be replace with the growling and snarling of furious Gods, because to mock them in such a way and imply that actually fear Humanity would be the greatest humiliation! The Gods, Goddess, and Angels began shouting curses and insults at Brunhilde for saying such things and treating them with so much disrespect! Even the Council of Valhalla were affected by the remark, those of them not on the side of Humanity anyway.
"Hohohoho, I see… a declaration of war, huh?" Zeus said laughing as he stroked his beard. "Could this be a rebellion?" He asked Brunhilde.
"But of course, Lord Zeus." Brunhilde said with a smile.
"I see, I see." Zeus said and continued to stroke his beard as he laughed. "Hohohoho, my my I don't think I felt my blood boil like this for such a long time." He said and his body started to swell and bulk up from the fury inside.
"You dare challenge and mock us? You must be asking for death… Valkyrie." Ra said in a deadly serious tone, his eyes burning with literal flames of fury as his body swelled with anger.
"You will pay for your insolence! I will strike you down where you stand!" Perun shouted in a booming voice with great fury and lightning coming off his body.
"I have to agree, it is unwise to mock the likes of us with such little care for your own life." Lugh said in a serious tone, his eyes cold and unforgiven.
"I'll enjoy flaying the flesh from your bones in the most brutal fashion, you smug demigod whore!" Huitzilopochtli said with bloodlust, ready to attack.
"Now… that's just plain rude, Brunhilde. Are you prepared to face the wrath of the Gods if you say such words?" Marduk said in a serious and displeased tone.
"I've been prepared for a long time, Lord Marduk." Brunhilde said with a soft smirk. "All for this moment where I would stand before you all and call you shitheads out!" She said vulgarly with a confident smirk!
At those words some of the members of the Council were about to attack the Valkyrie Leader but Goku appeared in front of her as protection.
"Hey now, let's not do anything crazy. I don't mind fighting any of you but if you want to get to her you'll have to get through me." Goku told the Council.
"You would dare to challenge us all?" Ra asked flaggested.
"I woulda even if Brunhilde didn't ask me too, I can't have you destroying Humanity now. I have friends and family that I care for dearly." Goku told the Supreme Sun God. "So if any of you want to fight, bring it." He said taking his signature stance and flare his Ki a bit.
"Hahahaha, I'm starting to like this mortal." Yu Di said with a chuckle. "Not a lot of beings have the guts to say such words and back it up." He said more amused than insulted.
"I agree." A young female voice said, which shocked all the Gods, even Brunhilde and Freya. Because when they looked up they saw a young girl dropping down from the ceiling of the Court of Gods, she had long pure white hair that was glowing and done in pigtail hairstyle, flawless white skin, mystical golden eyes, and a lean shortstack body. She wore a white robe, a necklace with a cross, and was bare-footed. But why was everyone so shocked by her presence because this was Yahweh, The God above all Gods, The Most High in all of the Heavens, The Pure One, The Pinnacle of All Divine Power, and The Governor of the Creation itself. "This Ragnarok sounds like it could be a good show." Yahweh said with child-like wonder.
"L-Lord Yahweh, what brought you here?" Zeus asked in pure shock.
"I was just watching this meeting from afar in case anything interesting might happen and something did, Brunhilde came and declared war on the very Gods themselves and this mortal challenged you all." Yahweh answered. "So… you're the famous and legendary Son Goku, huh?" She asked the Saiyan Savior.
"I am, although I wouldn't say I'm famous." Goku said while scratching his cheek.
"I see." Yahweh replied, nodding her head. "Now… do you really think you stand a chance against us, against me?"
"I don't know but I'll definitely give my all." Goku told Yahweh.
"Right… now what would you do, if I decided to destroy your house?" Yahweh asked with a wide grin. "What if I decided to destroy everything and everyone you know and love, starting with your dear granddaughter?" She asked, her eyes turning dark purple.
"I would fight you with all my might to kill you." Goku said in a serious tone, turning Super Saiyan and holding his hand right to her face.
"Oh?" Yahweh said intrigued by this turn of events.
The two would release a lot of pressure, Goku's ki and Yahweh's energy clash making sparks and cracking the floor, everyone thought they were gonna fight to the death which would obliterate all of Valhalla in the process. This continued for a little while longer before Yahweh let out a stream of laughter and stopped all together, Goku put his hand down and returned back to his base form.
"I like you." Yahweh told Goku with a smile. "You'll definitely be fun enough to play with." She stated.
"Glad to hear." Goku told her but was still on guard.
"Alright, it's decided… we're having Ragnarok!" Yahweh declared, raising her finger. This shocked many Gods at this for Yahweh to say such a thing so casually, like they were holding a festival or something.
"Are you sure, Lord Yahweh?" Ra asked her.
"Yes, beside it has been forever since we've seen the technique and ability of the Gods or any real excitement." Yahweh answered. "I declare it so it's final." She said firmly, daring anyone to object to her and none do.
"Very well, Lord Yahweh." Zeus said, slamming his gavel down.
And so it was here where Ragnarok was decided by words of none other than the Almighty God that Stood at the Top of Creation and Gods. A showdown between the best Gods that Heaven had to offer and the best Mortals that the Multiverse had to offer!
"But the list is too short so instead of 13 fighters let's have 18 instead." Yahweh said, rubbing her chin. "Make it happen, Brunhilde!" She orders the Valkyrie Leader. "And the first one to 9 is the winner!" She cheered.
"Very well, Lord Yahweh." Brunhilde said with a bow.
"Good. And to sweeten that deal, the fight that impresses me the most will, the winner will have a wish granted by yours truly." Yahweh declared which shocked everyone. "See you around, Son Goku. I look forward to seeing what you and the rest of the mortals do." She said before disappearing.
"Well, that went well." Goku said to Brunhilde.
"Indeed." Brunhilde said but looked bothered by something.
The group left the Court of the Gods to make the preparation for Ragnarok, it was unexpected for Yahweh to show up but she gave the go for Ragnarok so everything was going according to plan. As three Valkyries and Saiyan Warrior walked through the halls of Valhalla, Brunhilde looked bothered by something, Freya was calmed, and Goll looked pale and drained. She finally had enough and dropped to her knees, holding onto Brunhilde's skirt.
"Goll, what is wrong?" Brunhilde asked her youngest sister.
"I can't take it anymore, Big Sister." Goll told her and to prove that fact, she would run to the edge of the hallway window and throw up vomit. She then turned to face Brunhilde once more. "Why did you do that?! Why did you go against the Will of the Gods and Council!?" Goll shouted the question at her and all Brunhilde did was wipe her mouth of any leftover vomit with a handkerchief. "You could've been gonna kill!" She shouted, looking more concerned.
"Goll…" Brunhilde said, looking touched.
"Just… Why did you do that?" Goll repeated but in a more soft tone.
"Goll, you are the youngest of the 13 Elites. So you don't understand just yet." Brunhilde said to her. "But the bond between mortals and Valkyrie goes deeper than that of the Gods, deeper than the Angels, deeper than beyond just words." She told her. "There's no way I can just abandon them." She said softly.
"Big Sister…" Goll said in awe at Brunhilde's words.
"I have to agree with Brunhilde, it is the duty of the Valkyrie to guide Humanity. We can't simply ignore such an event as destroying all of mortalkind." Freya told Geir. "When Brunhilde first came to me with this plan I thought she was insane but the more she explained it to me and her reasoning, I decided I would help her as the previous leader of the Valkyries I couldn't just abandon you all to the cruelty of the Gods." She stated.
"Lady Freya." Goll said, surprised.
"I was definitely surprised when she came to me while I was in the Dragon Realm and proposed her idea to me, I was all for it." Goku told Goll. "I enjoy a good fight but also, I couldn't just let them destroy everything and everyone. They fought so hard to ensure the safety of everything, I won't let that all be for nothing." He said firmly, his voice full of determination.
"Wow…" Goll said to herself. "You really have been preparing for this for a long time, Big Sister." She said to Brunhilde. "Y-You really going to war… with the Gods, with the Council." She said, trembling a bit.
"Indeed, I am." Brunhilde confirmed.
"B-But… are you ready? I-I mean… are we ready?" Goll asked, despite her age and being the youngest she was still a Valkyrie and part of the 13 Elite so knew the role of a Valkyrie when it came to war.
"I can't say yes or no to that, for we haven't even started yet." Brunhilde answered honestly. "I only prepared 13 fighters but I'll need to find five more fighters that are strong enough to fight." She stated.
"Quite a difficult task but one that will need to be completed." Freya stated.
"I guess so but what a pain in the ass." Brunhilde said with a deep sigh. "Lord Yahweh really threw a curveball into my plans." She said annoyed.
"Yahweh, she's a powerful being. Her power level was bottomless." Goku said seriously.
Goll got to her feet and the group was about to continue their walk to their room but they run into someone they weren't expecting, it was Thor the Norse God of Thunder, the Strongest Norse God, and Thunder Berserker and with him was his wife, Sif the Norse Goddess of Earth and Blond Brawler. She had her golden long blond hair, blue eyes, fair white skin with Norse runes on her face, hands, and chest, a toned and fit body built for combat. She was wearing a blue Nordic shirt, brown fur pants, a white robe around her waist, and matching metal boots.
"Greetings, Lord Thor… Lady Sif." Brunhilde said, kneeling before the two.
"Huh!? Lord Thor and Lady Sif! The God of Thunder and Goddess of Earth!" Goll thought with shock at seeing the two. "I-I better kneel! I definitely need to kneel!" She thought but was frozen from the shock.
"Hello Sif… hello Thor." Freya said to the two.
"Hello, Lady Freya." Sif said to the Queen.
"Mother." Thor said in a stoic tone to Freya then looked at Goku and sized him up and the Saiyan warrior was doing the same.
"He's strong… really strong." Goku thought seriously.
"Hmmm, impressive." Thor said to Goku then turned to Brunhilde. "Just what are you planning, Brunhilde? What's the true meaning of this war?" He asked her.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Lord Thor. It's simply what it seems, a war between Humanity and Heaven." Brunhilde answered with a calm and coy smile.
"Hmmmm." Thor grunted and release some pressure and directed it all at the group, Goll was trembling with fear, Brunhilde continue to kneel and look at the ground, Freya wasn't affected, and Goku was about to get involve but Thor stopped and walk off with Sif by his side. "Whatever, just don't waste my time or bore me, if you do… I'll kill you." He said seriously.
"Aaaaw, don't be so hard on them, dear." Sif cooed to Thor.
"Hmmmm." Thor grunted.
Goll fell to her knees and let out a big sigh of relief, Goku continued to look at Thor as he was walking away, Freya watched Thor with an unreadable look on her face, and Brunhilde seemed to be calm despite the clear threat.
"I… I-I almost pissed myself!" Goll exclaimed with a whine. "You seem pretty calm yourself, Big Sister." She said to Brunhilde.
"I seem calm to you?" Brunhilde asked the youngest sister. "That good then." She said and she was anything but calm, actively trembling as she huff and puff.
"B-Big Sister?" Goll said in worry.
"I'm fine…" Brunhilde assured and pulled out a tablet. "Let us hurry and figure out what we're gonna do about getting five extra fighters." She said, getting up and continuing their walk.
"It will be tricky. We're already limited." Freya told Brunhilde.
"What are we gonna do about, Lord Thor!? What mortal could possibly fight against The God of Thunder!?" Goll asked in a panic.
"I already have the perfect opponent for Lord Thor." Brunhilde answered. "Although technically, they're not mortal at all." She stated.
The group stopped at a door and entered the room which belong to Brunhilde, she continued to look through her tablet for any potential candidates for Ragnarok and after a bit she found the perfect five but some of them were a more of a gamble and she would definitely need to make a few calls.
"Son Goku, I need you to go retrieve these five for the tournament. Your turn won't be for a while so take your time and if words don't work then feel free to use brute force and I'll explain the rest." Brunhilde said, handing Goku her Valhalla phone. "Just select the name of the candidate and you'll enter their universe then press the home button and you'll return to Valhalla." She explained.
"You can count on me, Brunhilde." Goku said to her, then pressed the button and disappeared in a flash of white light.
"Big Sister… just who is the fighter that can face Lord Thor?" Goll asked her, greatly concern.
"Simple, Goll… the most blood-thirsty, most violent, most savage, and Strongest Shinigami of all time." Brunhilde explained and selected the fighter. "He will be our Vanguard for Humanity and give Lord Thor the fight of his life." She said with a smirk.
"I hope you know what you're doing, Brunhilde." Freya said to her with just as much concern.
"H-Him!? Y-You chose him!? He's way too dangerous!" Goll exclaimed as she realized who would be the first fighter as a green light would engulf the room.
After a bit of time the preparation for Ragnarok was complete and now everyone was in the Arena of Valhalla, a place where only the best of the best would fight, all the seats were filled with humans, elves, dwarves, half-breeds, Faunus, and all kinds of being from across the multiverse though that couldn't make it to the arena would have screen flash all over Multiverse to show the fight. While Gods, Goddesses, Demigods, Demigoddesses, Angels, and Demons were on opposite sides, on the left was the side of Humanity and on the right was the side of Heaven.
Brunhilde, Freya, and Goll were on the balcony on side of Humanity while Zeus, Odin, Shiva, Ra, Izanagi, Yu Di, and Marduk were on the balcony on the side of Heaven, this was it, this was where the best of the best from both side would fight it out to decide the fate of millions, it was do or die, and all-out war for survival of one's own existence.
In her palace at the very top of Heaven, Yahweh was laying on a throne as she face a large digital screen, she couldn't wait to see the battle of bloodshed, she could go and watch the fight from Valhalla but it was too soon, she would only go if either Son Goku fought or if things got really interesting.
"I hope you can surprise me, Brunhilde." Yahweh said with a smile.

And it is done, what do you think of the prologue? I try my best to make everything seem more original and make the Gods not like complete asses that want to wipe out Humanity and have actually legit reason while also introducing the world of anime in a more organic way.
