The afternoon sun shines through the STEM building. A state-of-the-art research center towering sixty stories tall with glass windows polished so meticulously that a person could see one side of the building clear through to the other. The name itself doesn't really stand for anything. Originally it was only specializing in agriculture. But now, it has dabbled into everything. Fashion, robotics, civil planning, engineering… You name it, they have done it. There's even a logo of STEM in every product they have produced.

The fame of STEM is thanks to the current CEO, Naven Nuknuk. He was famous for his silver tongue and always knowing what to say to make business negotiations go smoothly. Though Naven only does it through voice calls and video. Keeping his image hidden from the public which has caused many speculations of what he looks like. Especially those from tabloid magazines who are often writing about him.

On top of that, STEM is known for hiring Mundies over Inscribed. Which is rare as nowadays, most businesses prefer hiring the Inscribed over Mundies simply because they have an epithet. But STEM was different. They believe that it is important to cultivate all talents. Not just inborn ones. Because of this, the company has great PR among Mundie communities.

The ground floor of the STEM building is a standard room. A large receptionist desk sits in the middle of the room. Glass doors for each of the others that are on both sides of the floor. And an elevator on the right behind the desk. Charles Foxtrot sits on the red chair. Looking at her pink cellphone. She was clearly bored. Hoping that something happened to make this day seem less boring.

As if on cue, the double doors opened. Vincent Murder steps into the building. He and his minions, except for Molly and Castin, strikes a pose. "Greetings!" He started. "I'm the boss of many, the up-and-coming grand villain of the world, I am…" He points to Charles. "VINCENT MURDER! And don't you forget about it!"

"Uh… huh…" Charles said in confusion. "What can I do for you, Mr. Murder?" "Oh please, Mr. Murder is my dad. Just call me Vincent." Charles shrugged and just play along. "Sure thing, Vincent. Now why are you here?"

"Let me handle this." Molly said. Giovanni nods and lets her explained. "I'm Molly Blyndeff. Naven's student. We're here to see him 'cause we need his help." Her "innocent" act worked like charm. Charles presses the red button on the speaker. Telling Naven about Molly. "Bring them here." Naven said through the speaker.

Charles escorts them to the elevator. She uses the key which is required in order for the elevator to open. The inside of the elevator is quite lavish. Vincent makes a mental note to add this to his headquarters. She presses the button to make the elevator move up. Naven's office is on the 60th floor. The red number displayed on top of the elevator changes as they head to the 60th floor.

Meanwhile, Naven is sitting on his green desk. Doing some paperwork. One paper is the amount of payment from various businesses that are collaborated to STEM. Another paper has information for future business meetings that his assistant wrote down for him. The papers were scattered all over the desk.

After the few months of mayhem after the museum heist, things were getting back on track. But there's still plenty of work for him to do. And now he has some guests to attend to.

The elevator dinged. Then it opened. "His office is straight ahead. You can't miss it." She said as they stepped out. After the group steps out, she uses the elevator to go down to the main floor. They headed straight to Naven's office. Vincent wants to make the entrance as flashy as possible.

"I have an idea." He raises his right foot. Getting ready to kick the door open. But Molly stops him. "Don't do that, boss!" "But I wanna kick it!" "We should do this more properly… I don't think Naven would appreciate us kicking his door down."

"Fine…" Vincent is disappointed. But he'll respect her wishes. Instead, he knocks on the door with his left hand. "Come in." Naven's voice said. Vincent opens the door and the group heads inside. "Vincent, Molly, it's so nice to see you again. How are things going?"

"It's been good." Molly said. "Hope we're not bothering you since you're working and all."

"Not to worry. Things have been going smoothly lately." He neatly put all the papers in a straight pile beside him. "Come sit down." The group sits down on a comfy red couch. "Would you like something to drink?" "Sure! I would like to have orange juice please!" Vincent looks at his boys. "Boys?" They each said what drink they wanted. Dark Star, Ben, and Spike wanted some soda. Crusher and Flamethrower wants some orange soda. And Molly and Castin both wanted some water.

Naven called Roman to grab some drinks for them. Minutes later, they arrived with the drinks. He gives it to Vincent and his boys. "Enjoy the drinks." Roman said as he leaves the room to give them privacy. Naven then cleared his throat. " So how can I help you?" Giovanni takes a sip before speaking. "Well, you see, things have been going slowly recently. And I want to take it up a notch! I need someone to build me a villain headquarters!"

He turns to Castin. "Crybaby, show him!" Castin takes out a clipboard from his backpack. He puts it on Naven's desk. One paper shows all the rooms that would be in the villain headquarters. It was written down while they were at the bus stop. Naven looked over the paper. It has things like bedrooms, bathrooms, a common area, an open space kitchen, a dining room, and laundry room. Other things include a medical room, an interrogation room, art room, computer room, a studio for social media, and many many more. The second paper he looks is the layout of the headquarters. Four buildings that are connected via bridges and it's in the shape of a square. Naven is impressed by how dedicated it looks.

"What do you think? Impressive right?!" He couldn't contain his excitement. "It does… But it'll costs up to millions for this kind of design." "This is my dream though! Every good villain has their own headquarters! That's villain 101!"

"Yes but…"

"Molly and her friends risks their lives for you! So~ you owe us some favors!"

"Boss…" Molly sighed and shakes her head. She didn't want Naven to help them out just because of a favor. Actually, he never did say anything about favors. Meanwhile, Naven thinks for a moment. This building will cost a fortune. Plus, he couldn't do this in secret. However Vincent was right. He was kidnapped by Molly's older sister Lorelai. And they did risk their lives for him. Even if he was only kidnapped so Lori can prove to Vincent that she can be a part of his team.

His mind and heart continues to battle. While Vincent waits patiently to hear his answer. After awhile, his heart wins the battle. "Well~, okay." "Really?! You'll build us a villain headquarters?!" Naven nods. "After all, you did save me. Let me see what I can do and then I'll call you when everything is ready." He reaches his hand out. Vincent does the same and shakes his hand quickly. "Thank you so much! I can't wait to see it when it's done!"

He then takes out a baseball and a black marker from his left pocket. He writes his phone number on the baseball and gives it to Naven. "Here's my phone number so you can call me. And also, if the police were to come here for some reason,..." "I won't say anything about you coming here."

"Thanks." With that, the meeting is done. The headquarters is gonna be built. Vincent can't wait to see it come to life.
