Chapter 2 - Sapphire Stone
"Sapphire my office please" Miss pentangles voice gracefully stated around the school.
Sapphire was currently in the magnificent green house of Pentangles Academy, term didn't start until tomorrow, so she was enjoying the alone time. It truly was stunning in its dome shaped form and being ridiculously tall to allow for the much taller plants which adorned the perimeter of the greenhouse along with many other smaller plants, with many benches in there to allow students to study or chill out. A stunning waterfall was located in the middle of the greenhouse a gorgeous golden Phoenix rising from a stone basin to symbolize a phoenix rising from the ashes, the water flowing from the phoenix's mouth and cascading down circling the phoenix to flow into the basin to symbolize the calming of a storm.
Sapphire made her way from the school's magnificent greenhouse to Miss Pentangles office, she knew all the different herbs and spices as well as the flowers both carnivorous and non-carnivorous, the different types of trees and petals and leaves. She knew their properties and what potions they were all used in. What could she possibly want me for, she doesn't sound like I have done something wrong.
As she walked into the sickly pink and white office of her adoptive mother, she noticed a uniform on her desk that wasn't one of theirs.
Pippa stood behind her desk her face looked grave, yet very pretty with her small button nose and freckled heart shaped face. She was gorgeous yet never accepted praise. Her mid length light blonde hair cascading down her back and in a very flattering pink witches dress with a matching hat on her hat hook beside the door she has just walked through. She is going to feel rejected and abandoned yet she is neither, please take this better than I think you will.
"How are the plants?" she hesitated for a few seconds with no response she carried on "Due to recent matters you are not safe here, for the time being you are being transferred to Cackles Academy for the year maybe less than that".
Sapphire was seething "What is that supposed to mean, not safe? you've kept me safe for eleven and half years. What am I supposed to do at Cackles. Epically fail, I can't ride a broom or chant or do incantations" the fury in her voice made Pippa wince as she knew what Sapphire stated was correct and she knew Hecate Hardbroom would take advantage of that and use it to be hateful. Yet it was the best place for her but could the pair of them control their tempers?
"Here is your uniform for Cackle's and don't give me that look of disgust yes you have to wear a dress" Pippa exclaimed.
"I am not wearing that is ghastly and a dress" Sapphire stated. I hate dresses they are not practical and far too girlified, can this day get any worse, she made a mental note to forget to pack it.
"You will be wearing it and I will be checking that you have packed it" Pippa knew her far too well, to be fooled by the girl's antics. "Now go and pack as I will be transferring you to Cackles tomorrow, I really am sorry".
Sapphire didn't hear the apology she was far too angry.
Pippa did indeed check she had packed her new uniform and surprise, surprise she had hid it in the ceiling. Sapphire was livid.
