Filmon walked into his bar, nodding at the bartender as the man saw him. The place had been cleaned up nicely, even if you searched, there was no way anyone could tell someone had been murdered just a few days prior.

"I want the usual, and take a break, I need to run something by you Tobias," Filmon said as he sat down, looking around the bar.

It was always active, but tonight it was like there was a holiday. People flooded the dance floor, and dozens upon dozens of people swarmed the bar, the other bartenders were forced to rush back and forth between orders.

"70,000 this week sir, minus taxes, utilities and employee salary," Tobias said, sending over the money to Filmon as he sat down with two shot glasses.

"Thanks, Tobias..." Filmon said as he looked at his glass. "What do you think about remodeling?" Filmon wasted no time and asked the question as he took the shot, the drink sliding smoothly down his throat.

"Well... It's your bar sir, what did you have in mind?" Tobias asked, taking his own shot and focusing on Filmon.

"Well, I recently opened up Horizon, just like I discussed with the old man, but now I'm not sure how to integrate it with everything else. There's so much I want to do, yet so little time... So what if I integrate the bar with Horizon, and advertise here while also doing a little side business."

Filmon knew what he had in mind when he said side business. He was talking about drugs.

Running the bar, Tobias could also become his drug unit, giving out any drugs they create, and known drugs in the secrecy of being a bar.

As the shots went back and forth their conversation continued and Tobias started nodding to the music that filtered through the sound system. His eyes glazed over as he began to speak again, speaking softly and almost as if he was in a trance.

"Ey man, if you want drugs sold I'll sell drugs, you're paying for renovations though!" He yelled loudly, laughing as he pat Filmon on the back.

"Then it's settled, the bar will now be called 'The Edge of Horizon' and you'll be the supervisor. Good luck, I expect a minimum of 100,000 a week, we'll do our part as well Tobias," Filmon answered with a smile, taking one last shot and getting out of his chair, a bit tipsy from all the alcohol in his system. "And get some girls in this place yeah? Might as well make it a full club..." He added.

"Alright then, we'll have it done by next week!" Tobias yelled back to him, enjoying himself now and taking shots over and over again.

Filmon walked out into the streets of Night City, heading home to rest for the night. Things were starting to go in his favor.

"Filmon?" A voice said to his right.

Filmon's eyes flashed. His heart thumped loudly in his chest as his breath hitched. He slowly turned, his eyes widening at the sight of the speaker.

"Is that you?" V asked as Filmon stood there.

'This... Is bad,' He thought as his heart beat even faster.

"V... Wow. Uh how've you been?" Filmon finally asked awkwardly. His mind was spinning. Why was she here? Why did it have to be now when he was drunk? Why did his entire body feel hot?

Why did he want her?

"I was just in the area, I thought I'd go ahead and get a drink, wanna join?" V asked, a small smile on her face as she looked at him.

The moonlight shone on V's skin, making her look as if she was glowing. Or maybe that was just his eyes doing tricks on him.

"I..." He said, looking at her expectant expression. "Can't. I have some things to do in the morning haha..." He said quickly, calming down as he turned and waved her goodbye.

"Hah... What was that Filmon, come on now," He scolded himself. "At the end of the day, you're still a kid huh?" He said quietly, walking home in disappointing silence.

The next morning, Filmon awoke with a slight headache from the previous night's revelry, he hadn't even felt drunk, yet his head felt like it was going to split open.

The Edge of Horizon was buzzing with the excitement of the impending renovations and the integration of Horizon Enterprises, and Tobias had even managed to hire some extra help all in the middle of the night.

He scrolled through several messages and pictures of an all too excited bartender before closing the chat.

Filmon had other matters on his mind. The Reaper Division.

He trusted Razor completely to train the men and women he'd brought in, making them deadly fighters, but he wasn't sure if Razor would pick people good for the company.

He knew Razor had some trouble in the past, most nomads who lived in Night City did, and even though he trusted him, he didn't want him bringing in people that would just question everything or try and betray him later... Plus he wanted to see how strong Razor's chosen were.

So, Filmon decided to visit the warehouse he, Razor, and Vix had been living in prior to forming Horizon, which was now being used as the reaper division's HQ of sorts.

After a quick breakfast, Filmon made his way to the warehouse, looking around to make sure no one was watching or following him, and slipped inside discreetly.

The interior was dimly lit, the walls adorned with dark symbols and colorful spray paint, no doubt a kind of icebreaker Razor had decided one.

"Boss, welcome," a familiar voice called out. Razor bowed his head as the reaper division stood across from him, all of them battling each other in hand-to-hand combat.

"Razor, good to see you buddy, it's still just Filmon," Filmon replied with a nod as he walked up next to him.

"I just came to check on how things are going." He finished, looking at the group that was fighting.

"So how are they holding up?"

"Things have been tense today," Razor admitted, "None of them have much... love for corporations, it's going to be a bit difficult for them to get used to Horizon, I've explained you aren't like others but it's pretty hard to get rid of that corpo rep."

Filmon nodded, inwardly sighing. "I see... that seems to be a common theme for the street kids I've been paying to run around the city as well. I still haven't been able to replace stupid Ares. Hell, if I knew he was going to cause me so much trouble I would have just ripped the chip from his head to begin with..." Filmon sighed, looking over the group with interest.

"So you're the mysterious boss?!" A voice yelled as a man jumped in front of Filmon, standing over two feet taller than the boy. His cyber arms and legs were obvious, and his eyes glowed as they analyzed Filmon.

"Nice tech," Filmon answered, holding out his hand. "That's right, I'm the boss."

The man ignored his hand, bending down and getting in Filmon's face. "Razor here has earned our respect and trust, but if we're working for you, don't you think you should do the same shortstack?" The man smiled widely, his yellow teeth inches away from Filmon's eyes.

"Kael how dare-" Razor began to say as he stepped forward.

Filmon stopped the man with a hand on his chest, looking back at Razor with a smile. He had basically come for this anyway, plus it would be good training.

"How can I earn your respect then... Kael was it?" Filmon answered, his heart beginning to race as a familiar feeling washed throughout his entire body.

"Like..." Kael said as he breathed in deeply, his arm coming apart, changing parts as he stepped back and wound up.

As he punched forward, the arm finished forming a titanium boxing glove at the very end of his fist. "This!" He yelled, finishing his words.

Filmon raised his arms, barely blocking the blow as he flew across the warehouse, landing hard and kicking up the dust.

"Hah fuck, that's some power," The boy said while he got up, brushing himself off as Kael jumped forward, landing in front of him once again.

There was a moment of silence before Filmon and Kael began to circle each other, their eyes locked in a fierce gaze, the weight of this fight hanging in the air. The reaper division stood hushed, it was as if the very walls of the building were holding their breath, awaiting the clash of these two men.

It wasn't that he had pride and didn't want to lose, if the man was stronger than him so be it. It was that the entire division was now looking at him, watching his every move, he doubted it would be beneficial to lose.

With a savage battle cry that resonated through the hall, Kael charged, his titanium boxing glove gleaming in the dim light. Filmon stood his ground, only moving at the last second and dodging the huge fist.

Filmon sent a light kick to the man's abdomen, testing him a bit and sidestepping another punch, swiftly elbowing the man's hip.

Since he was tall, Filmon made sure to stay close to him except when he had to dodge, no one in their right mind would dream of getting hit by Kael's custom cyberware.

Kael's strikes were fierce and relentless, each blow fueled by a burning desire to prove himself, as well as disprove Filmon. But Filmon, agile and composed, dodged and countered with precision, his movements sharp yet smooth, flowing past Kael's heavy attacks.

Filmon seized a moment of respite amidst the whirlwind of their clash. With a swift step, he moved in close, his arm opening up and revealing the razor sharp mantis blade darting toward Kael's exposed flank. But Kael, his instincts sharp from countless battles, anticipated the attack. He twisted away, his counterstrike aiming for Filmon's exposed shoulder.

Titanium met flesh and bone, and once again Filmon was sent flying into the walls of the warehouse.

The boy coughed as he shakily stood up. "You really got me that time..." He said, breathing in as he let both mantis blades free.

Kael smiled wildly, rushing Filmon and punching down faster than most people would be able to react to.

The clash of steel against titanium resounded throughout the warehouse like thunder. They locked in a fierce struggle, their strength evenly matched, though Filmon was quickly slipping farther away in terms of physical ability.

Kael groaned, shocked that this small boy had so much power in his body. Such raw strength in the small frame of a teenager.

'Just what kind of cyberware does the guy have?'

This was the game of course. Naturally, Filmon wouldn't be able to handle such an ancient artifact without his body changing. Though his stats were low, even E-rank strength could overwhelm a mediocre human.

Filmon's eyes burned, the fire of his spirit kindled by everything he fought for, his family, the people he'd brought along with him, and his desire to once again reach his home, all those feelings burned in his eyes as he countered against Kael.

Kael fueled by his own unyielding resolve, fought with the might of a warrior whose heart knew no fear.

The rhythm of their battle intensified, their movements becoming a blur of steel and sweat. Filmon ducked under Kael's swing, his blade sweeping low to sweep Kael off his feet. But Kael leaped, his boots rising just off the ground, evading Filmon's trap with a swift grace.

"Such agility from a guy of your size, that's pretty remarkable," Filmon said with a smile. "But it's about time we end this little game..."

[Bloodlust]

A surge of adrenaline coursed through Filmon's veins. With a sudden burst of power, he lunged forward, his blades tracing a deadly arc. Kael met the attack head-on though, his own titanium arms smashing forward toward the blades to meet them mid-air.

The clash of their weapons echoed like a gong, and everyone continued to watch the exhausting fight.

Filmon's blades sang as he dodged and countered, saving his energy as he let Kael slowly tire himself out.

Minutes turned into an eternity as they fought on, their bodies aching and their breaths ragged. Yet, neither yielded, Perhaps it was because others were watching? Or perhaps neither of them wanted to give up without putting their all. Whatever it was, it kept them both on their feet.

With a burst of strength, Filmon launched himself at Kael, his blades arcing toward his opponent's defenses. Kael, sensing the impending strike, twisted away at the last possible moment. Filmon's blade whistled through the air, grazing its mark by a hair and cutting into the flesh of Kael.

But Filmon, ever adaptable, turned his near-miss into an advantage. In a swift motion, he spun on the ball of his foot, bending his his leg sweeping low to knock Kael off balance. Kael stumbled, his defenses compromised. Filmon seized the opportunity, his blades finding their mark in Kael's exposed side.

Kael's eyes widened in surprise and admiration as Filmon's blades whistled through the air down at him, promising the sweet kiss of death.

"Is that enough Mister Kael? Is that worthy of your respect?" Filmon said, his hazel eyes shining as his black hair fell to the sides, sweat soaking his clothes and hair as it dripped from his chin.

"Yes... Boss," Kael said, bowing his head in defeat. It was hardly a bad loss. Instead, it confirmed something for him.

"I think I can overlook working for a corporation, if it's under you then I guess it's whatever," Kael said, his hands changing back to normal as he stood up, brushing off his clothes.

"Good, I'm already hella short staffed... Keep at it everyone!" Filmon yelled as he left the building, listening to the dinging of The Game, with sweat dripping down his face.

'Well, I guess I don't need to worry about the reaper division... Is now a good time then?' Filmon thought as he looked at one other notification, a notification he always got once a month due to his Job as a thief.

He'd done a couple of them already. His first one had been stealing a deed from an old guy he barely knew, which had caused him to obtain the warehouse where the reaper division now trained.

The second one had been Edge of Horizon, or as it had been called before, The Muddy. He'd simply befriended the owner and managed to get lucky enough to inherit it once the old man croaked.

This was the third one, marking his third month in the cyberpunk world.

"50 Million huh?" He thought aloud as he walked back to Horizon. "I know just the person~"
