I got the idea to do a horror series because I love watching horror and conspiracy theories on Facebook and YouTube. I hope you guys like it. If this series makes a hit, I will also make a one-shot horror series not only for Haikyu but also for other anime. I'm beyond any doubt it's not perfect but I did my best to produce a writing that's worth perusing by amazing readers like you guys. HAIKYU HORROR SERIES

CHAPTER 1: THE WOMAN BY THE GRASS

Summary:

The fear and dread I felt that day… I won't be able to forget it.

Hinata invited me to come to his younger sister's birthday party. I decided to take my bike since his house is at the top of the mountain. On the way, I passed by an empty lot with lots of tall grass. I have been passing through there many times, but that was the only time I experienced something inexplicable.

There, I saw a woman sitting on the ground near the tall grasses. I'm pretty sure she's not a tramp because she looks beautiful, with pale, flawlessly smooth skin and is dressed in white.

The shape of her slender body is visible in her thin white dress. She smiled and nodded at me. I did the same to her, saying, "Good afternoon." The woman chuckled and waved at me. She seemed to want me to come closer to her. Although I hesitated, I approached her. (Maybe she got scared when I smiled at her. I've been told my smile is scary.) When I got closer, I asked. "Do you need anything, Miss?"

But she remained silent, merely grasping my hands and stroking her cheeks against my palms. Her cheeks are velvety and soft in comparison to my hands, which are hard and rough from playing volleyball. I broke into a cold sweat as she slowly brought my face closer to hers. She closed her eyes, her luscious red lips parted slightly. I thought: "This is it! My first kiss is with a very beautiful girl!" I also closed my eyes and pursed my lips. I moved closer, my eyes are still closed but our lips are yet to touch. I opened my eyes slightly and was taken aback and horrified at what I saw! In front of me is a black dog, not a slender gorgeous woman! The dog licked my face and opened its mouth. I quivered in trepidation. I couldn't even move or yell for help. I could hardly breathe because of the stench coming out of the black dog's mouth. It's nauseating!

I thought this was the end of me. Fortunately, some stray dogs came and attacked the black dog. The creature retreated into the forest. The stray dogs also left. I could move after almost 6 minutes of just sitting down on the ground. I staggered but I was able to go back on my bike and despite everything I decided to continue my visit to Hinata's house. I got there without a problem and celebrated Natsu's birthday with them.

Hinata's mother invited me to have a sleep over with Hinata. "Kageyama-kun, why don't you sleep here? Natsu and I have to leave. My mother-in-law wants us to visit her. I'd like to take you and Shou-chan with me, but he said you guys still have a meeting and practice tomorrow."

"I have a new video game. Let's play it later Yamayama!" Hinata enthusiastically said.

The last few days have been going well. My only problem seems to be that I just can't forget what happened to me on Natsu's birthday. The fear and dread I felt that day… I won't be able to forget it.

Moral of the story:

Never try to approach and talk to people you don't know very well, even if they seem nice and welcoming. You never know they could be a wolf in sheep's clothing
