Chapter 1: The Quest set active

'Clad in armour, so mysterious, lovely spirit, not precarious

Who be they I wonder now

Join us adventurer as we travel the land

The memory of Guthix may guide our hand

As we say no more, and know no how'

"Oh goodness Ozan now, what are you on about?!"

"Of course Ariane, you have no interest in culture, the arts, the poetry, but the rest of us are not so impoverished."

"We are on a quest right now! Have some sense of urgency!"

"Is it sense we need Ariane? Is it? Does Geilinor not simply deserve its tale to be told? To be sung by great heroes, to sing of the calamities and the harsh survival of the people of the one true-"

"Come on Ozan! We agreed that the rewards would be shared among us, and I wouldn't have taken the job if I was doing this alone!"

"Oh but I did not ask to do this quest, feels like it should be moreso a mini quest I set aside for now, or rather a task I won't get to till the last moment."

"Ozan….." Ariane shook her fist annoyedly.

"She's right Ozan, we mustn't be wasting time now. The fate of Gielinor is -"

"-totally not in our hands thanks to that infamous adventurer we all end up bumping into once and a random while. Nothing interesting happens…"

"Oh come off of it you three, by the way, what, exactly are we doing again…?" Linza asked.

"Well… Apparently there's been some mysterious activity happening at the Woodcutters Grove."

"At the Woodcutters Grove?! It's those Zombies again isn't it, those unwelcome guests, why I oughtta-"

"What exactly is going on at The Woodcutters Grove?" Sir Owen asked, trying to get everyone on track.

"Is there an evil tree?" Xenia inferred.

"No." Ariane answered.

"Or those Ents, good Guthix don't tell me they're back?!" Linza asked.

"Nooo…" Ariane said again, a little impatient this time.

"Oh don't tell me! Rodney finally asked Oak out, he's been crushing for a while, wait! Don't tell him I said that! You didn't hear it from me!" Ozan exclaimed.

"..." Ariane.

"?" Sir Owen.

"NO! I've received reports from the locals that a mysterious man in white covered in blood has been popping up, and mysteriously, adventurers are disappearing one by one." Ariane finally let out frustratedly.

"Hm, yes, quite mysterious indeed."

"So as we all are not familiar with the Art of Mystery, I've asked someone with far more experience to help us on the case.."

"Ariane, I am the Master of Mystery! I have never been caught!"

"Ozan, being caught and being mysterious are not the same thing!" Ariane rolled her eyes.

"Sure they are, everyone wonders how to catch me, I 'mysteriously'

vanish."

"Consider my wizard mind bombed Ozan. Now, let's get back on track people. The mysterious person who is far skilled in Mysteries, is The Raptor!" Ariane said excitedly.

Out came The Raptor, in his big tough armor, with his big tough boots and big tough aesthetic. Ozan glared crossing his arms.

"Everyone give a good round of applause." Ariane said, but everyone just stared. "Don't be too eager…."

"I mean, um, I thought we'd get like the Archeology Guild Master in here."

"Don't be ridiculous! They're out on their own adventure, last I heard there's a new necromancer running amuck, I say let them deal with that and we can worry about the small stuff. After all, we are the Signature Heroes!"

"..." Sir Owen and Xenia cringed.

"What..?" Arienne asked.

"The Signature Hereos?" Ozan asked. "That's the most ridiculous name if we're going to be a superhero.. group thing."

"It's not ridiculous, it's the name I chose, and I don't feel like wasting a bond to change it! Now everyone listen to the Raptor. He will help us with mysterious tactics."

Everyone turns to the Raptor to see what they have to say.

"..." The Raptor. "..." Also The Raptor. "..." Adding to the point. "..." Concluding the speech.

"Okay, well, how about we just, um, go talk to the Woodcutter's Grove staff shall we. Good pep talk, great team!" Ariane said as she threw her hands up in frustration walking towards the Woodcutters Grove, Sir Owen following behind, then Xenia.

Ozan stretched out his arms,, still leaning against the earth rune altar. He yawned. "Mysterious huh?" He eyed the Raptor, the Raptor said nothing as both Ozan and him followed the group.
