ONE PIECE X RWBY – VOLUME 1: TEAM LUSZ AND THE BEGINNING OF THE STRAW HATS PIRATES

Hello! This is my second fic that I'm working besides Total Drama Unlimited Island. As you guess, One Piece is one of my favorite anime cartoons and along it is RWBY's world. Honestly, this last cartoon has their good and bad things, especially if we can talk about its plot holes. However, it has a lot of potential for creation of fictional histories and that's the thing I want to explore with this crossover between team RWBY and the Straw Hats Pirates. So well, after this little introduction let's begin!
East blue, an ocean connected with the regions of Anima and Sanus, a trading commercial path between the kingdoms of Mistral and Vale and a dangerous mass of water where the most terrific Grimms are hide. To traveled in these waters, it is recommended to have a special conveyance with high defenses and technological army. However, along the Grimms exist an other kind of danger. At that moment, a fancy embarkation of people is going in direction to the region of Vale. On its bow, the ship had a snowflake logo along with some acronyms that are read "Schnee Company." Inside the ship, the wealthy passengers were dancing in a beautiful evening, drinking glasses of wine, eating delicious snacks from the ship, or talking about economic issues such as the profits obtained from the sale of dust, a mineral that is used of defense against the creatures known as Grimm. Meanwhile, on the deck, two mischievous soldiers were testing the ship's weapons by aiming at rocks, logs, or even floating islands found in the sky.
"Phew, phew, phew. Hey captain, this is soldier 432 confirming that all the Grimms are death, and we can continue with our peaceful trip. Copy that", the soldier said before being surprised by his partner with a slap in his neck.
"Come on, we can't take moments to be distracted. At any moment there will appeared real Grimms and that would be the moment to see your scary face", his partner said.
"Dude, you're not funny". At that moment, the soldier saw in the distance a whirlpool which was sucking everything in its path, "So, are you sure this ship can resist the potence of a whirlpool?" The soldier 432 asked.
"What do you say that rookie? This is a ship from Atlas, the most powerful technological kingdom of Remnant, we are gonna stay good", his partner said so confident.
Suddenly, the partner of the soldier 432 visualizes something unusual. Floating on the sea there was a big old box with the Schnee Company logo impressed in there, "No way!, those brats of the storage zone leave again luggage on the sea!", the soldier said with an angry tone.
"Those losers, I wish that the content of that box aren't damaged if they want to conserve their jobs", the soldier 432 notes the state of the box and shows an upset expression, "Seriously, man, we will have some layoffs at the end of the day". The soldiers threw a fishing net into the floating box and, with all their might, hauled the box to the deck, "Puff, what is inside this box? It's too heavy," One soldier said.
"I agree with you, buddy. I could only assume that is not a package of dust", the other soldier said.
While this happens, another soldier who is near the bow is researching any threat with the help of his technological visor. At least all was seemed to be calm … until a mysterious pink ship with a swan-shaped prow and heart-shaped sails appeared. Besides, it has a skull flag. "What is that?", the soldier exclaimed.
On other side, the other pair of soldiers have achieved in bring the strange box to the ship. Both are looking so tired and taking some breath, "What that hell this box has?" a soldier exclaimed with a tired tone.
"I don't know my buddy, but right now we need to check if all the content is in good state", from his belt, one of the soldiers brought a knife to open the box. It was near to do it, when …," WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"
BOOM!*
At that moment, the pink ship shoots many cannons of explosive dust to the ship. All the passengers were shocked and panicked. For the critical situation, the captain, who was inside to supervise the party is trying to calm the people, "Listen, don't be in panic. Please, follow the indications in ordered form. We're going to enter into a battle."
Meanwhile, the soldiers went to their attack positions and realized a counterattack with the ship's cannons, "FIRE!". However, even of the precision of the attacks, the attackers did not come back and began to approach to the luxurious boat. In the pink boat, there where many bandits with many sables and pistols. Besides, among them, there where a big figure who was so excited to arrive the ship. Also, near the big figure, was a nervous kid with a fair complexion, pinky hair, two pair of googles, a white shirt with blue stitching, black pants and white and ret sport shoes, "Tell me, Koby, who is the most beautiful woman of all the kingdoms?", the big figure said.
"Well, it's the captain of this ship, of course, Miss Alvida", the kid said putting his arm in his neck so nervous.
At that moment, the figure who is laughing about Kobi's answer is revealed as a big fat woman with curly black long hair, red painted nails, and a fair complexion. She was wearing a big hat with a red feather, a military dark blue jacket with golden ornament in her shoulders, a strayed pink shirt, a red scarf on her neck, golden rings with colorful gems. white pants, and brown shoes. Besides, she was bringing a big technological maze with the capacity to transform into a mini gun, "Well, said."
"Thank you very much." The pink hair kid said.
Then, one of the subordinates of the big woman, Happoko, who is a brown-skinned person with a stocky body, short black hair, black moustache, a dark yellow short-sleeved shirt dark purple pants, and sepia brown shoes, comes near her captain, "Captain Alvida, it has been a while hasn't it?"
"Indeed! Now pull alongside the ship."
The enemy ship continues its attack with explosive dust. Everyone was running, hiding, or trying to access at the emergency boats to escape. Just only a young girl with a short orange hair was observing quietly how the pink boat was coming. On other side the soldiers were preparing for the battle they are going to have without taking an idea that the box that was saved of the sea was moving to the inside of the ship because the intensive hits of the explosions move constantly the embarkation.
Meanwhile, the pink boat is currently near the Atlesian embarkation. The robbers begin to throw ropes with hooks to have a form to enter in the ship, "Henchmen! Teach them the cruelty of Alvida's iron club, the female pirate."
"GYAHHH!" The pirates cross the ropes with a war cry. The soldiers draw their weapons and begins the battle. Shots, knives, punches, all the complete ship becomes a battle arena. The experimented Atlesian soldiers are trying to resist, especially who have holographic shields and rifles, but even with that they were being beaten by the pirates. Just only one bandit with glasses did not arrive in the boat. Alvida was getting angrier about his coward behavior, "Koby, what do you think you're doing?!"
Koby reacted so scary about Alvida's reaction, "I-I'm very clumsy for this kind of things."
"Do you dare to answer me insolent child?!" Alvida said while she was coming angry to an inoffensive Koby.
"I beg you, don't use your mace!" Koby said.
"THEN MOVE AT ONCE!", Alvida said before kicking the poor Koby to the ship.
When Koby arrived, he thought all the terrific moment end, but not at all because from the sky an aggressive Alvida was coming. Quickly, Koby dodge Alvida's attack leaving her enter to the party room along a big destruction. Even if it was an accidental arriving, Alvida was happy to achieve in enter to the luxurious ship. Some soldiers try to stop her, but with an only movement or her mace she defeats them. Then, more Atlesian soldiers appeared around Alvida, "This is the Atlesian army, you're attacking now a private embarkment property of Schnee Company. Give up now!", the Atlesean captain said.
However, the woman shows a smile, she did not want to give up, not when she was now inside, "Aww, what adorable. You, soldiers of Atlas, know how to treat a woman." Then, Alvida changes their mace into his mini gun form and eliminates their obstacles with an evil laughing. When all the soldiers where defeated and captured, Happoko with some bandits arrived bringing big bags.
"Listen carefully, we're not going to damage you, but in change we are going to keep all your value belongings," Happoko said.
"And anyone who opposes it will end up at the bottom of the sea, am I clear?" Alvida said with a big smile.
On the other side, the pirates did not realize that a girl with a short orange hair and fancy clothes was hiding meanwhile the robbery was happening. With a lot of confident, the girl quickly changed her clothes and put a blue pirate disguise to infiltrate at the bandit's ship. Inside, the woman tries to enter to the treasure room when from the nothing a tired bandit appeared in front of her, "Who are you? I never see you before," the pirate said.
"W-well..." The girl did not find the exact words to stop being suspected. At that moment, an idea pass around her head and fast she kicked the bandit in his private parts knocking him. When her achievement, the young girl continues her inspection inside the enemy ship.
Koby is checking the storage zone to find some valuable things. At his mind, he was feeling so bad. Two years ago, he was navigating so happy near his village and family, but only because of his curiosity he ended as a poor subordinate of a group of pirates. When he was refluxing about his fatal destiny, he accidentally kicks a strange box who was too damaged. At that moment, he decided to bring it to Alvida. Any fail would be another hour of punishment and sorrow. Suddenly, three pirates with scary faces appeared around Koby. One pirate is a man who has a tattoo in his face, the other is tall and has blond hair, and the last one is so fat, "Hey coward, are you hidin' out in a place like this again?!", the fattest pirate said with an aggressive tone.
"W-wait, I was only thinking to bring this box. I'm sure this would have some liquor inside", the kid said nervously.
The fat pirate shows a smile when he heard the word "liquor", "Don't worry kid, we'll take that weight off of you."
"And just when I'm getting thirsty", the blond-haired pirate said.
"DON'T DO IT, if Miss Alvida knew about this, she would kill us!" Koby exclaimed with a nervous tone.
"If you shut your mouth, no one will know, right, Koby?", the pirate of the tattoo said.
"Yes, of course, how did it not occur to me?", Koby leaving a soft laugh.
The pirates carry the box near them. As it sounded, it was too heavy even if its content is alcoholic drinking, "It is so weight", the fat pirate said.
"Yeah, I want to see what its content", the blond - haired pirate said.
The fat pirate cracks his knuckles while concentrating on the mysterious Schnee Company box, "Relax, ok. I can open it with a single punch". Positioned, the pirate accumulates all his force to open the box. He needs it an appropriate distance and potency to achieve in his objective. Finally, he liberates his punch to break the box when…

…
"UAHHHHHH, I SLEPT GREAT!" A young man with a smile in his face came out of the box with his fists in the air accidentally hitting and knocking out the fat pirate while he was recovering from his long and "cozy" snap. Everyone was shocked because nobody has the idea that, inside the box, is going to appear a young man with a straw hat. The slim young man has a fair complexion, shaggy black hair, round black eyes, and a scar in his left cheek. Besides, along his distinguishable straw hat, the smiling man was wearing a red velt, blue short pants, and a pair of sandals. After getting out, the boy turns to the pirates with a confused expression, "Who the hell are you guys?"
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!", the pirates exclaimed.
"Your friend will catch cold sleeping like that", the young man said as he stepped out of the remains of the box.
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KNOCKED HIM OUT!", the pirates draw their sables to the mysterious boy, "Hey! You know we are pirates, why are you making fun of us?"
However, the straw hat man does not pay attention to the pirates. Instead , he goes to a shocked Koby who was trying to process the surprising arrival, "I have a lot of hungry, do you have any food?"
"I'M TALKING TO YOU!", the pirate exclaimed with an angry tone. Sick of his indifference, both pirates charge to attack slave the young man at his back. Koby was terrified about what is going to watch, "DIE!". For his panic, Koby decides to cover his eyes to avoid any trauma that will appeared after this moment.
CLANG*
After that, Koby separated his hands from his eyes, and what he saw was so impressive: the swords were destroyed by the straw hat man without injuring him. The pirates were scared about this and decided to run away taking his defeated partner on his shoulders.
"What happened to you? Why did you do that?" Luffy asked so confused.
"W-who are you?!" One of the pirates asked with a scared tone.
"Me? Oh, my name is Monkey D. Luffy, hi." Luffy said with a smile.
After this answer, the pirates take his defeated partner and run away so fast of the storage zone. Meanwhile, Koby is still shocked of how two terrifying pirates were easily defeated by a young man, "What's happened? What did I just watch?", Koby asked himself.
"So, what is happening to them?", Luffy asked with a confused tone.
When he returned to the reality, Koby goes to Luffy with a worried expression, "Quick! You've gotta run. If those guys come back here with their buddies, they'll kill you on the spot!"
Luffy reacted to Koby's petition with a smile, "I don't care about that, I'm hungry."
"I don't understand why you don't care about it. There is an army on the deck of the ship ready to destroy you.", Koby said too nervous. However, Luffy seems to still want to find food. After that, Koby decided to try stop his savior, but his efforts were in vain because the straw hat man was so strong to carry him to the food storage without any efford. When they finally arrive, Luffy was so happy about the amount of food he found while Koby turned calm because there was a good place to hide, but that didn't stop his concerns.
"IT'S A GOLD MINE! FOOD, FOOD, FOOD, FOOD", Luffy exclaimed happily while he begun to eat some apples.
"M-my name is Koby. You're Luffy, is that right? That was neat when you jumped out of that Schnee's box back there", Koby said with a shy tone.
Luffy turns his gaze towards Koby as he eats an apple, "This is so delicious. So, where we are?"
Meanwhile, Alvida and the rest of her crew were finishing their assault. For the woman pirate her it was a great day. They achieved not only robbing a simple ship, it was also from the Schnee Company, the richest company in all of Remnant and that meaned that most of the passengers were part of the high class and have multiple valuable belongings. Currently, all the tripulants and soldiers are tied up in the deck without the possibility to move while the pirates are preparing to leave the embarkment. Even if they were wanting to have more time to check more treasures or try to hack information from Atlas it was impossible because they know that Atlesian ships have an alarm system that is activated in case of robbery, Grimm attack or environmental catastrophe. After its activation, a group of Atlesian ships and Bullheads (flying ships) will coming to intercept them. Besides, it was possible too that Grimms would appear because of the fear of the passengers. Suddenly, from the storage room entry came two scared pirates and an injured one interrupting Alvida her escape, "MISS ALVIDA, BAD NEWS"
"WHAT DO YOU WANT? DON'T ANNOY ME!", Alvida exclaimed.
"A-A monster came out!", the two conscient pirates said without think that these words will have serious consequences.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING MONSTER?!", Alvida shouted. With an unhuman force, she throws her mace to the pirates. At that moment, both pirates avoid the attack except the fat one who was recently recovered of his injuries. For his bad luck, Alvida's mace gets and launches him to the ocean. To finalize, the mace ends hitting the rested pirates on their heads and giving them a big headache, "N-not you. It was a strange subject who came out of a box," One of the pirates said.
"Yeah, and it could be possible that he is a bounty hunter.", the other injured pirate said.
"What?"
"If I had the courage, I could drift alone in a box and be rid of these pirates. I have my own dreams". During their standing, Koby and Luffy talked about how they ended in the ocean. Koby told his history about how, after leaving their village to explore a little the ocean, ends caught by Alvida to work for her for 2 years. On other side, Luffy told Koby that he leaves his natal city, Argus, in a little wood boat. When he heard that, Koby was surprised because he knows that doing that is a suicide because in the deep waters there are a lot of aquatic Grimms especially fierce Sea Feilong, Lancers, and giants Leviathans. However, the real reason of why he was traveling inside a box was that he unfortunately across a big whirlpool where, according to the news, sank many boats and caused serious deaths. Luckily, one of his old friends gave him an Atlasean box where originally was containing a lot of food, but as for Luffy the food was not enough for his big appetite. On other side, during his conversation, Luffy was realizing something about Koby… he is so dumb and coward because he did not try to escape at any moment. According to Luffy that made Koby so hateful. Even for that, both were enjoying talking about each other. At that moment, Koby wanted to ask Luffy about something curious, "Luffy, what animated you to leave your home?"
Luffy shows Koby a big smile before telling his answer, "Well, I'm wanna be the king of the pirates!"
When he heard that Koby's jaw fell, and his face was so shocked, "A-a king?"
"Yup"
"Are you serious?
"Yup"
"So, that means you're a pirate?"
"Yes."
"And your crew?"
"I don't have it, I was trying to find some partners."
"What?!", Koby's jaw stay down for a long moment. During this time, Luffy was passing his hand in front of Koby's face to try to make react him. After seconds, Koby finished to assimilate all the information that Luffy told him, "King of the pirates is a title given to one who obtain everything this world has to offer. YOU WANT TO FIND THE MOST MYTHICAL AND MAGICAL TREASURE, THE ONE PIECE!
"Yup", Luffy replied with a smile.
"How do you plan to do it? A lot of people have been trying to find it for a lot of centuries to unlock the deepest secrets of Remnant. There is a high competence!". Koby shouted.
"So do I", Luffy said.
"NO WAY! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE, IMPOSSIBLE, IMPOSSIBLE. There's no way anyone like you could ever reach the Pinnacle of the pirate age and especially during this war ages between light and darkness!", from the nothing, Luffy punches Koby's head making fall on the floor, "Why you punched me?", Koby said with pain.
"You deserved it", Luffy said with a relaxed tone.
Koby knead his head and tries to seem that it did not hurt the punch to his new friend, "It doesn't matter, I'm used to It".
Luffy put his hand near his hat while he smiles to Koby, "It's not about if I can. I'm doing this because I want to", Luffy takes his hat out and contemplates it," I've decided to be the King of the pirates, so if i die figthing for that, that's fine with me!".
At that moment, Koby has a deep reflection. Since he was a kid, he has always difficulties. His father was a huntsman who unfortunately lose his life defeating his village from a giant Beringel. After that, his mom tries to take him in save maintained in his village or in his house. However, the adventure always was calling his door and one day he decided to explore the world at least one time in his life. Of course, that makes him be caught by a group of pirates, but he is still alive. So, why he did not try to risk again? Is bad to try it? With all those thoughts, Koby has a final resolution, "I imagine I can do it too, die fighting."
"Doing what?" Luffy asked with a confused tone.
"D-do you think I could ever join Atlas Academy to learn how to be a hero?"
"Atlas Academy?"
"YES, I have always the dream to caught criminals and destroy multiple Grimms. It's something have been dreaming since I was a child. Do you think I can achieve it?" After that question, some tears were appearing in Koby's face. All his frustrated thoughts that he was saving are known getting lose among his words.
"How will I know that?", Luffy asked.
"No, I can do it! I'll break out, I'm gonna prepared myself at the academy and then I'll turn right around and catch Alvida myself!", at one time of his life, he was getting so confident, he was feeling that he can move a mountain. Unfortunately, his confidence turns off when the ceiling of the food storage breaks. Suddenly, a figure appeared along the generated dust, Alvida find Luffy and Koby and she seems to hear Koby's speech, that do not sound good.
"You're going to make an alliance with this boy? Tell me, who are you gonna betray? KOBY!" With her presence, Koby was so terrified. Alvida was looking him with killer eyes and was so angry because of his speech. that moment, some sabers go through the door where Luffy was nearby. Alvida directs her gaze towards Luffy and gives him a sinister smile, "Huh, you don't look like Zoro, the bounty hunter."
"Zoro?", Luffy asked confused.
"KOBY! Who is the most beautiful woman of all the kingdoms?!", Alvida said while she was drawing her big mace to a scary Koby.
"W-well, give me a sec, I know this."
"Hey Koby, who's the fat lady", Luffy said without any preoccupation. On other side, Koby and the rest of the Alvida's pirates, who were watching the scene trought the hole that Alvida made with her arriving, were shocked about Luffy's words.
"Oh no, not good", Happoko said so scared while Alvida was getting a lot of sores around her big face.
"RAT!", Alvida said while she draws her mace to Luffy. Immediately and with a smile, Luffy jump to avoid Alvida's attack. Then, he takes Koby's hand and escapes to the deck with a big jump through the hole that Alvida made. When they arrived, many pirates led by Happoko go to attack Luffy and Koby with their sabers. However, Luffy was so fast to easily avoid their constant attacks. One by one, the pirates were being defeated by punches, headbutts and kicks. Even if many of them try to attack Luffy at the same time, he could avoid it, "Missed it", Luffy said while Koby watch him with admiration.
On other side, the Atlesian soldiers and passengers who were caught by the pirates were surprised because the subject who is beating up the pirates was only a young boy. Meanwhile Luffy was punching his enemies, one pirate who climbed in the high point of the ship decided to make a surprising attack. So, he jumped on Luffy to try to cut his neck, but for luck he could predict the attack, "It's not fair to attack from behind.", Luffy said before taking pirate's head and throw him to the rest of his partners. However, the problems were not end because there were more pirates that want to cut the necks of our adventurers, "It's not fair to attack in group!"
Luffy is running away around the deck until something weird happened. At one point, one of Luffy's arms kept clinging to one of the surveillance posts and the unexpected happened... as he ran his arm stretched out quite a bit as if it were made of a rubber-like material. This event surprised and scared the pirates who were pursuing Luffy, but it was late for them, "Gotcha!" Luffy leave the surveillance post and realizes his attack, "Gum-gum ROCKET!"
Luffy shoots out and shoots down many pirates as if he were some kind of slingshot. Everyone was shocked, if it was weird that a simple young man was defeating the pirates a rubber-young man was sounding ridiculous. Even Alvida, who recently arrived at the deck, was impressed by Luffy's power. "L-Luffy, what are you?", Koby asked with a nervous tone.
For this question, Luffy takes one of his cheeks and, as a cartoon, he stretches it, "Oh, I'm a rubber man."
"S-so, you are made by rubber. I - AHHHHHH", at that moment, Koby is interrupted by the presence of Alvida who was in his behind with a serious face.
"So, you've eaten up a devil fruit?", Alvida asked.
"Yup, I eat the Gum- gum one," Luffy replied with a smile.
"Uh-huh, I heard rumors they existed, but I've never seen any evidence of them before today. You're also seem pretty skilled, are you a bounty hunter?", Alvida said showing some curiosity.
"No. I'm a pirate.", Luffy said.
All the passengers were gasping because the guy who saved them was also a pirate. On the other hand, the Atlesian soldiers have mixed reactions. Some of them are impressed with the skills of Luffy, others are angry because of his confession, because the young man was denominating himself as a pirate, so that means he is too an enemy. However, he decides to fight Alvida instead of them. What's going on here? On the other hand, even if he knows that he should not have this feeling about a pirate, Koby was admiring Luffy not for his objective, it was for his motivations and though behaviour.
"A pirate? Hah! All by yourself ?!", Alvida asked.
"It's just me right now , but when I'll find some more sooner or later in my travel around the seas of Remnant! Yeah ... 10 crewmen sounds good to me", Luffy said.
"Ah, so you're a pirate too, huh?! Then that means you and me are enemies, huh?", Alvida said with a sinister smile.
Koby is sweating with fear as well as showing concern to his new friend, "Luffy, let's go."
"Why?", Luffy replied.
"We saw how powerful her club is and of all the villainous cheats in all the kingdoms she's easily the most-", at that moment, Koby realizes what he was doing and remembering the words that Luffy told him minutes ago "I've decided to be the King of the pirates, so if i die figthing for that, that's fine with me!". So, from the deepest places of his heart and mind, a new emotion appeared inside Koby making him to do something unthinkable.
"Go on, tell me ", Alvida said with an evil smile.
" YOU'RE THE UGLIEST THING OF ALL THE KINGDOMS!". When he said this, all the pirates who are with Alvida became pale and scared meanwhile her captain was turning on in a pure fury.
"SHISHISHISHISHI", Luffy was laughing so hard because of Alvida's humiliation.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?", Alvida said with an angry tone.
At that point, Koby could not stop, and his determination was getting in fire, "I'm leaving, I'm gonna join the Atlesian army. Then, I'm gonna spend the rest of my life beating up dirty criminals like you!"
The time stops and different reactions begins to birth: Logically, Alvida is so angry with Koby's offense, the pirates and passengers are scared, Luffy continues laughing, but the most important reaction and even if Koby do not note at that moment is that the soldiers of the Atlesian army are so impressed by Koby's determination. Even if he does not look like a fighter he is acting like a brave soldier.
"Do you even know what're you saying?!", Alvida said.
"Of course, I do. I'm gonna do what I want, no one is gonna stop me and when I join the army, I'm gonna join them and I'm gonna catch your lousy ass first!", Koby said with a big determination.
"YOU'RE DEATH MAN!", Alvida prepares her mace to kill at once Koby.
Koby shows shocked, but inside his mind he was proud of what he said. No regrets, he has the control of his life, and he is going to make real his wish. Alvida draws her mace and with all her force she hits Koby… or maybe not. Inmediately, Luffy came to Koby's front and receives Alvida's attack. Koby was feeling worried, but then and smile appears in Luffy's face, "That don't work, I'm rubber!"
At that moment, Luffy punches Alvida's mace surprising her at the act. Quickly, she transforms her mace into his mini gun form and tries to hit Luffy, but what she did not count is the dust bullets did not affect him. In fact, the dust bullets bounce from Luffy's body and returns to Alvida. Terrified, she runs and avoid the bullet, but for Luffy this was a big opportunity. With all his power, Luffy straight her right arm so long through the sky, it was time to finish the battle, "Gum- gum PISTOL!", Luffy shouted while, in slow camera, punches Alvida's belly so hard sending her to the ocean.
"WAAHHHHHHHHH!", that was Alvida's scream. On other side, the fat pirate who was accidentally sent to the ocean was recovering their senses, but for his bad luck Alvida arrives on him and create a big water explosion.
After defeating Alvida, Luffy return his arm while Koby watch him with admiration, "Luffy, that was awesome!"
"Thanks, Koby. Now, for the rest," Luffy turns his gaze to the rest of the pirates who haven't been defeated yet.
Feeling helpless, they desperately decided to create a white flag and then place it on a pole and then wave it, "We surrender!"
30 MINUTES LATER
Alvida and the rest of her crew are being prisoned by the Atlesian soldiers. On other side, some of the passengers are hugging each other because they achieve in survived the pirate attack. Meanwhile, others are being check by the soldiers if any get injuries during the attack of the pirates. As for Luffy and Koby, the former was devouring a large watermelon that he got from the food storage, while Koby couldn't stop smiling at the feat he just accomplished. After being captive by pirates for 2 years he was now free, but a huge question was forming around his mind, "What now?"
"Huh? Why you asked me that?", Luffy said with a confused tone.
"I don't know, maybe I said that because I can't believe that I'm finally free", Koby looks down the floor with a worried face, "but, I realized now that I didn't think what to do after that".
Luffy cleans his mouth with a napkin and shows Koby and smile before giving him an answer, "Do what you want, dumb."
"What?", Koby asked confused.
"It's simple, man, you said you wanna join in the Atlesian Military? So do it", Luffy said.
"B-but I'm only a child, I need to be prepared for that. Of course, I want to be part of the army, but…", *PAFF* Luffy punches Koby again in his head. The pink-haired boy turns dizzy for some second before rubbing his head, "Why you punched me again?!"
"Because you returned to act like a dumb and a coward. Haven't you noticed yet?", Koby stops to rub his head to finally remember something. Minutes ago, without any possibility to beat Alvida, he confronts her following his values and principles like an honorable soldier that wants to protect the completely world.
"Y-you're right, I'm ready to be a soldier!", Koby exclaimed pointing the sky. After see that Luffy laughs happily because his friend is becoming truth his dreams.
"That's good to hear, buddy", Luffy extends his hand towards Koby, "and I'm going to become the king of huntsman", without any doubts, Koby extend his hand too and they both shake hands.
Meanwhile this happening, all the Atlesian Army comes to Koby and Luffy with serious and scary faces. The army are near Luffy and Koby and this last one was intimidated and impressed at the same time. It was a weird combination of feelings, but it was clear that being in front of the soldiers was giving Koby a kind of pression, "You have foolishly risked your lives and carried out activities without the consent of some Remnant authority. As you know this may sound serious among your background", the captain of the army said with a serious tone.
Koby who was feeling that his heart was going to come out at any moment due to stress. But all his thoughts disappear when they saw the soldiers nodding to them, "However, we can't be mad of you because this day you saved a lot of lives. For that motive, we're giving our respect!"
By then, Koby's face was surrounded by tears, not of sadness, but of happiness. Sure, he was still considered himself a crybaby, but it seemed like this day was just the beginning. However, the surprises did not stop for them, the soldiers stop to nod and gives a simple request, "By the way, do you like to be a part of the army of Atlas?"
That question broke Koby's mind. After all his suffer, in only one day his life was changing, and a miracle was becoming his dreams truth. The determination he gained and the development of his confident caused to say his answer, "YES! I REALLY WANNA JOIN!", Koby said with tears in his face.
"That sounds great, kid. What's your name?", the captain asked.
"Koby, Koby Sakura", Kob said so happy.
"Ok young Koby, we are gonna prepared you for Atlas Academy. I really want to know your progress during your stay, it's all clear?"
"SIR, YES SIR", Koby replied like a loyal soldier. This action makes the soldiers leave a kind laughing. However, the laughs stop when the captain change his expression to other more serious, "Straw Hat, sorry but because you said you are a pirate you are under arrest."Straw hat, you have helped us a lot today and we thank you for that. However, since you trespassed on this ship and call yourself as a pirate, you will unfortunately be under arrest".
...
...
"Wait, WHERE DID HE GO?!", all thel soldiers said at the same time.
At that moment, a soldier comes with huge speed. He looked very worried, and beads of sweat are running all over his face, "What's the matter soldier?!", the captain asked.
"THE EMERGENCY BOATS AREA WAS OPENED!", the worried soldier shouted.
Then, other soldier is coming so stressed, "CAPTAIN, THE VALUABLE BELONGINGS ARE NOT IN THE PIRATE BOAT!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!", the captain shouted. It was a critic situation, his savor disappeared, the boats area was strangely opened, and the robbed belongings are not in the pirate boat, that means…, "ALL THE SOLDIERS AT THEIR POSITION! WE MUST STOP STRAW HAT "*SHHHH* A sound comes in the part down of the shop. All the soldiers including Koby comes near the bow to see Luffy sailing in the sea in a small Atlesian boat with a big bag of food.
"HEY KOBY!", Luffy shouted, "I hope that one day we will meet again and that you will become a great soldier. Goodbye!"
At that moment, Koby does not know what to do. For one side, he would be a robber and all the things he said to him were simple lies, but if that was real, why he saved his live? What he motivates him to become part of the army? All was confused, but even with doubts Koby decided to smile and answer his goodbyes, "YEAH! I will be the best soldier of the Atlas, no, of all Remnant! Good trip, Luffy!" After that, Luffy smiled and with the propulsor of the boat he disappeared trough the sea.
On other side, the soldiers were in general so confused, what really happened? If he was the real guilty of the robbers? However, the most shocked was the captain who was still watching the way where Luffy disappeared with the boat. Suddenly, another soldier comes to the captain and the soldiers, "Captain I need to report something important".
"Told me, soldier", the captain said with a serious tone.
"According to our informs, that door was opened 45 minutes ago. Also, between all the emergency transports only two are disappeared", the soldier said.
After hearing the report, Koby lets out a sigh. In all the time he's spent with Luffy it's unlikely that he would have opened the emergency ship area, since all that time he was meeting him while they were dealing with the pirates. In addition, there was a second missing ship that the real culprit would have escaped long before. At that, the pink-haired youth turned his gaze to the captain, who was still having serious expression, "Captain, if it could be useful for the researching, Luffy was with me all the time before he leaves the ship. It is possible that the real guilty escaped in the other boat a time ago.", Koby said with determination.
The captain turns his gaze to Koby. He is shown calmer, but it has something serious to inform to the newest member of the army, "Rookie, a pirate always is a pirate, but even with that I can told you that it's not probable that Straw hat had a relation with the real criminal. That will not stop his caught order, but it could calm you know that he is not the guilty of this last assault."
"Oh, that's sounds great", Koby said.
"Good, kid", the captain maintain their serious expression before turns his gaze to Koby, "However, there something important that I need to ask about straw hat."
"Of course, sir, what is it?"
"Is his real name Monkey D. Luffy?"
Luffy is navigating on the sea in his new transportation. He is eating some apples while he is lying in his bag of food. Suddenly, he sees something unexpected. Another little boat with the logo of Schnee Company is crossing the ocean so fast in the same way of Luffy. In a second, both boats crossed each other, and, inside the other boat, there was a young girl with a pirate disguise and a big bag of treasures. Then, the girl takes the control of hear boat and separates of Luffy in other way. Luffy was confused about what had happened, but in the end, he didn't care and continued his journey calmly, "That was strange, meh maybe was nothing".
In any side of Vale
Among the clouds of the continent of Vale, there is a tower that is part of a big academy. There, in the highest point and through a window with a clock design, an middle-aged man with silver hair is sitted in his desk watching news in an holographic device. The new was about an recent incident of how a group of pirate tries to steal an Atlasean ship and were stopped by a singular pirate who wears a straw hat. The man turns off his scroll before turning his chair to the big window to the tower and contemplate the beautiful view of a big academy which is managed by him. " Monkey D. Luffy, grandson of Garp, I'm so excited to meet you."
FINALLY! This is the first introduction of Monkey D. Luffy in the world of Remnant. Honestly, this one is a little resume of the first chapter of One Piece, but with elements of RWBY series. On other side, for the rest of members of team LUSZ (Some of you might now who are gonna be the rest following the logic of the teams in RWBY), I'm going to write their introductions in a different way. Obviously, I needed to write them what are their fighting style, weapons, or Semblances, but those are gonna be revealed in futures chapters. Besides, originally, I was planning to make Luffy as a huntsman, but I decided to make him as a adventurer pirate because it opens a lot of ways that I could addapt. However, it could appear a question, if he is a pirate, how Luffy will assist at Beacon?
On other side, I'm gonna leave here some aspects that you need to know about Straw Hat in this crossover. As you know, Luffy is too a Devil Fruit user, but it has its own limitations:

Because of his Devil Fruit, Luffy can't use anymore aura and with it his Semblance. Along with this, Luffy cannot swim because when he submerges most of his body in water, his strength weakens, becoming a great disadvantage in battles. On other side, Luffy doesn't use weapons. Even it exist weapons that can addapt with his form of fight, Luffy prefers more to fight with his own punches thanks that he have been had a special training gave by his grandpa, Monkey D. Garp. This skills were improved when Luffy ate the Gum gum fruit obtaining new tecniques that he could use with his new rubber body. For now this is all information that I could give about him, but theres more things that Luffy have, especially in his past.
Also, in the August 31th, the first episode is going to be uploaded celebrate the premiere of One Piece Live Action Series. Even if it had some aspects that I don't like (For example, Arlong appeareance), I'm so excited to see how was being developed.
