ONE PIECE X RWBY: TEAM LUSZ

Hello again! it just passed one day since I uploaded the Trailer: Red. Yup, i think this is coming a little fast, but these chapters are only an introduction of the first members of the Straw Hats pirates. I'm planning to write and upload at possible the first chapter at August 31th when the live action series of One Piece is going to happen. I hope that you will enjoy these introduction and here we have someone special. This character is clearly one of the most memorable characters of the Straw Hat Pirates crew and it's going to make his first appearance in this fanfic. Enjoy the chapter!

TRAILER: YELLOW

Darkness, since their existence, humanity entered in a big war with the horrible creatures of the destruction, the creature of Grimm. Unfortunately, most of this battle ended with uncountable human deaths. Looks like these creatures were only motivated to returned mans to the void. However, in all these histories there is always a hero who wants to sacrifize his safety to protect the humanity and, at this story, this one was the representation of the light, the hero, who promised liberate Remnant from all those dangerous Grimm. One day, he will bring a new era of light and hope!

It was night and the broken moon of Remnant is illuminating the sky. During this, a big group of Grimm, Beowolves, Beringels, Borabatusks and Lancers are attacking a village. The villagers are trying to run for their lives while the huntsmen tries to retain the monsters, but their efforts are not enough. Several houses were destroyed by the punches of the Beringels and a lot of people were injured by a Borabatusks's stampede. On other side, a group of families are trying to recover their belongings to then evacuate. There, a man was ending to package some of his things while his daughter was trying to calm her little dog. "Quick, we need to get out of here!", the man said.

"But dad, what is going to happened to our home?!", a little girl said with tears.

At that moment, a herd of Beowolves are coming to the families that are trying to escape, "RUN, DON'T LOOK BEHIND AND RUN!", a young man said. With a big panic, the villagers run fast carrying their children and the old people. Meanwhile, the father, who is carrying her daughter and her dog, was trying to lose the Beowolves when *BOOM* a house explodes launching them so far. When the father recovered his conscience, he saw his daughter was with him except his dog that is barking to a giant Beringel.

"MILA!", the little girl runs to save her dog. The father stands up and tries to reach his daughter. The girl achieves in take her dog, but she did not wait that the Beringel was in front of her.

"No, ISABEL!", the man tries to take her daughter out of the rank attack of the Beringel, but the monster was faster. In a second, the girl hugs her dog to wait the inevitable while the father was horrified.

*BANG*

A sound comes near the family. At that moment, the little girl saw the big Beringel. It was so still and does not make a sound. After a few seconds, the Beringel begins to disappear making the family confused. Then, a mysterious figure appeared around the destruction. According to its form, it was a slim tan-skinned teenager with a short curly black hair, prominent lips, and a long nose. He was wearing a complete yellow suit, red boots and gauntlets, a black belt, and a red cape. Also, he was using a white mask that covered the most of his face except his hair, mouth, and long nose. Besides, he was using technological googles on his face, a red backpack with dust bullets, and a big green slingshot on his back. Adding for that, he has a reptile yellow tail growing from his back. The father reunites with her daughter with tears in their eyes, "Come here my little girl, I thought I lost you!", the father said. Then, he turns his gaze to the vigilante who saved her daughter. He wanted to said "thank you" to him, but...

*ROARRRRRRR!", Suddenly, four Beowolves appeared on the roofs of the destroyed houses. The father hugs strongly her daughter and her dog to protect them, but the most worried part is, what is going to happen with the mysterious hero? The teenager is extremely quiet and even if he is hearing the roar of the monsters is totally in calm. The monster jump on the young boy showing their jaws totally opened and with sharp teeth, but the hero does not make any movement.

At that moment, he draws his slingshot, and, with a quick movement, he sends four bullets of fire dust to the Beowolves's heads. After those shoots, the Beowolves automatically disappeared in the air. In that, a Beowolf passes near the murder of his companions. Seeing the scene, the wolf howls at the sky alerting the rest of the Grimms. In just a few seconds, the monsters that had terrorized the villagers stopped plaguing the village and headed out to face the unknown hero.

The huntsmen who were confronting the Grimms were so confused, what was the reason that those Grimms decided to stop attack them? Without any doubt, they decided to follow the monster to discover the reason of his strange behavior.

Meanwhile, all the Grimms of the village are coming to attack the sniper and their roars are being heard in the distance. Knowing this, the sniper directs his gaze to the nervous father, "Villager, you might go away with your daughter and pet, there's no time."

The man carries Isabel and her pet Mila before looking to the hero and say, "Thanks for saving my daughter, but who are you?"

The teenager draws a smile in his face, "Well, I've been called as hero, stranger, or a vigilante. However, I prefer to be called Sniper king!". After those legendary words, the hero grabs his high technologic scroll and reproduces a music, the show begins!

At that moment, and stampede of Borabatusk charge their fangs to our hero, but those miserable monsters do not know is that they are dead. The sniper snaps his fingers while the song was starting.

"On the wind carries my name, from Sniper Island far away."

When the monstrous boars were near to smash the sniper, he shoots many explosive dust bullets and makes them disappear.

"When I take aim, it is straight true,"

From the nothing, many big Beringels appeared and try to punch the Sniper King.

"Lu lu la la lu!"

The Sniper King avoid the attack and shoot ice dust immobilizing the monster completely-

"Whether you're a man or a mouse, LOCK ON!"

The hero changes his slingshot into a big hammer war. Then, he jumped so high and with charges his hammer to the frozen Beringels.

"I will put your heart in my sights, LOCK ON!"

With all his power, the Sniper King arrives on the Beringels and hits them with his hammer. With that hit, the Beringel were easily destroyed.

"No one know what secrets hide,"

Suddenly, flying Lancers arrived and launch their stingers, but the hero dodges them like he was playing limbo.

The Lancers go ahead and tries to empale the hero, but he was prepared and dodge their attacks with a extreme speed.

"Lu lu lu lu lu lu la la!"

Then, he returns his hammer to his slingshot mode, and, with a great precision, the hero electrocutes the Lancers with lighting dust.

"There is no escape!"

The defeated Lancers fell before disappearing with an explosion behind the Sniper King who is with his arms crossed.

"Sniper King, Sniper pa pa!"

Just when everything seemed to be over, various Grimm creatures surround the legendary hero with murderous intent.

"Sniper King aims true!"

The hero sees around him how many monsters are and leaves a sigh, "No way, the song ended, and I'm continuing fighting with you guys. Maybe I need to improve in my launching speed", the sniper said with a confident smile.

At that moment, the huntsmen of the village finally arrived to see a lot of Grimm cornering only a man, "G-guys, are you watching this, or I am drunk?", a nervous huntsman said.

"Believe me, this is unimaginable!", a huntress exclaimed.

"However, this is a critic situation, we might to do something or that young faunus might become Grimm food.", other huntsman said.

Suddenly, a strong sound of a flutter appeared, and everyone were shocked "ROARRRRRGHH". From the sky, a giant black dragon with visualized bones arrives in front of the Sniper King. There, the dragon shows his big wings and roars near the face of the hero. It was seemed that it could be end for him, but there is one thing… the hero is undeterred!

"HEY KID, RUN AWAY! THAT WYVERN WILL KILL YOU!", a huntress said from the distance.

"DON'T SACRIFIZE YOURSELF! THIS IS A CRAZINESS!", a huntsman said.

Then, each huntsman tries to convince the sniper to go back and run … but the hero is undeterred!

Then, the wyvern approaches to the Sniper King and, with his wings, the monster creates a hurricane that destroy many houses of the village … but the hero is undeterred!

After that missed attack, the wyvern throws fire by its mouth to the sniper, but even with that and without any injurie … the hero is undeterred!

"Not bad, I could fight more time with you but I would stop the inevitable. It's time to finish the show!", the Sniper King makes his ultimate movement. From his backpack he takes some seeds, and, with the power of his aura, he throws directly to the wyvern and the rest of Grimm, "Say hello, to my little friends!"

Immediately, the seeds that fell near the monsters transformed into large carnivorous plants. The plant traps all the Grimm with its huge pods, after that, the carnivorous plants slowly ate the beasts including the huge and ferocious Wyvern creating a huge explosion of dark smoke "POP GREEN: DEVIL!"

*BOOM!*.

The huntsmen who were watching the epic battle were coughing around the entire explosion of the rests of the Grimm. Nothing was seen around the village. The villagers, including the father and his daughter, were so scared and nervous, but their curiosity of what happened with the powerful hero was stronger to make them leave their hidings. Suddenly, a laughing figure appeared from the dark smoke. The man who saves their lives is step in one of her carnivorous plants and is laughing with a lot of energy and joy, "Villagers, don't worry anymore. Some minutes ago, you were going to have a fatal destiny when those creatures of Grimm appeared and destroy your home and try to eat your civilization. But I its crear that future is not going to happen. This is only the beginning of the destruction of the darkness!", the Sniper King said.

At that moment, one by one, the villagers cheered the victory of the young hero who had saved their lives. Even the huntsmen were so moved by their feat and were crying tears of joy. "My friends, the bravest warrior of all Remnant promised that one day the darkness is going to end, the Grimm will disappear forever, and the light will finally Remnant with all his shine!"

People were clapping and cheered stronger, and the hero was in all his glory.

*CRACK*

"Huh?!", at that moment the ground of the village cracks and the hero is shocked about what is happening. After a few seconds, the hero is falling to a big hole while the rest of people were watching him and shouting his name so worried, "USOPPP!"

WAAAAHHHHHH! *PAAFFFFFFFFF*

"Usopp! Are you ok?", the light is covering the grass where the "hero" arrived. He had now a big bruise on his head. Along with that, his clothing was quite different. Instead of his hero outfit, the teen was wearing dark green jumpsuits, a light green striped bandana tied on his head, a sash around his waist, and large dark green boots. In addition, because he does not have any type of sleeve in his clothing, it is see his arms are completely covered in yellow reptilian scales. Currently, he is laying in the grass near a broken branch. Meanwhile, a beautiful blondie young woman with fair complexion and a cyan dress is shouting his name from the window of a big mansion with a worried tone, "Usopp, are you really, ok?"

The teenager chameleon Faunus known as Usopp stands up and thumbs up his hand to the girl, "It was nothing, Kaya, just I forgot to check the state of that branch".

Kaya sighs before look Usopp with a serious face and with a finger up, "Listen, I know you like to tell me your fantastic stories in the tree, but you need to be more careful. I don't like when you get hurt. Besides, Klahadore would hear you"; Kaya said.

The teenager with the long nose put their hands to his waist and do a confident pose, "Forget about that, you know that I'm the great Usopp. Nobody including a scary grumpy butler will intimidate me", Usopp said flexing his muscles

Kaya stays look Usopp so serious before leaving a soft laughing, "Ow, Usopp, I don't know but you always make me laugh with your occurrences."

"Yeah,not for nothing when I was five years old I talked a lot with the best pranksters in the world. There was even one who made everyone laugh with just his face. Look, his face was more or less like this" Usopp grabbed his face while making several funny faces, exploding from laugh at Kaya.

After that hilarious moment, Kaya gives Usopp a big smile. Then she sees the sky and then turns her gaze to his friend, "By the way, how did you hear about that last story? Did you meet that legendary Sniper King?"

Usopp become so nervous about that question that. Because of his chameleonic parts, he changes the color of his scales from yellow to white. Some drops of sweat were appearing around his face but, luckily, he gets an idea and his smile returns, "Well, this is not a right place to reveal this, but you're right! When I have ten years I was travelling around Vale and one day I saw giant Beringels with wings destroying a village. Of course, I was so brave to try to contront them, but then the Sniper King appeared and with his professional skills he eliminates the monsters with only one shot!"

"Only one shot? That's sounds amazing!", the blond girl said with star in her eyes.

"Of course, and before he leaves the village, he taught me some of his special movements including the most secrets and powerful", Usopp said.

"Congratulations, Usopp. Maybe you will become one day to a magnificent warrior.", Kaya said with a cute smile. When Ussop heard those words from the girl, he softly blushed and discreetly tries to cover it.

"A-are you sure? I'm a great adventurer, but I think that would be so big for me", Ussop said with a nervous tone.

"Why not? As you said, you're the great Usopp", Kaya said with a soft laugh.

*TOCK, TOCK*

Kaya heard a sound coming from the other site of the door, "Miss Kaya, it's me Klahadore. May I pass to your quarters?".

At that moment, Kaya turns a little nervous and directs her gaze to his friend, "Oh no, it's Klahadore. You should get out of here, you know what his position about Faunus is", Kaya said with sadness.

"Nah, don't worry. It's not your fault if he hates me. Anyway, Usopp away!", Usopp says as he runs towards a large bush with a hidden hole. Kaya is watching Usopp a little depressed because she wanted to still talk with his chameleonic friend, "Usopp, wait a second!" Usopp turns his gaze to Kaya and they both look into each other's eyes. Maybe Kaya did not note, but Usopp was using some branches with big leaves to cover his scales that changed into a pink color. The girl is watching the Faunus so quietly before giving her words, "Please, come tomorrow again and tell me another of your wonderful histories", Kaya said with a shining smile.

Usopp contemplates the cuteness of the young woman before sending her a thumbs up without a smile. Then, he stealthy retires of the mansion. After that, the door of Kaya's bedroom is opened by a high man with a fair complexion, green hair, fancy shoes, a black suit, and glasses. The man is carrying a luxurious tray with some toasts in a plate, some apples, and a jar of water, "Good morning, Miss Kaya, I wait that you slept so well", Klahadore said with a serious tone.

"Of course, Klahadore", Kaya said with a smile. The butler sees Kaya's face with a strong blushed. Maybe Usopp is not there, but the serious butler realizes that the young Faunus was talking with the blond girl according to her lovable expression.

"Miss Kaya, is the visit from that young man, Usopp, the reason you're happy?I told you that the teenage Faunus was not a good influence for you", Klahadore said as he adjusts his glasses with the palm of his right hand.

Even if that comment would make sad Kaya, she never stopped to smile. Then, he looks to Klahadore with a shining in her face, "It wasn't that Klahadore, just I have a dream, a beautiful dream", Kaya said with a blush.

Usoop is hiding the secret entry of the bush to then left the mansion through a leafy road. While the lier was walking, three blurs appeared and stopped in front of the adolescent Faunus, "AHHHHHHHH!" This moment scared a lot Usopp.

The blurs were three children, one had a fair complexion and a purple hair that covered most of his eyes. He had on, a red beanie with a skull logo, a black sweatshirt, orange shorts, and a brown sash. Also, his head looked like a carrot. Another child had a fair complexion and orange hair with a raised forelock. He was wearing a yellow short-sleeved t-shirt, a blue sleeveless vest, brown pants, a yellow sash, and glasses. In his case, his head looked like an onion. Finally, the last child had a mid-brown complexion with a dark colored hair. He wore a hat in the shape of a pepper, a light green short-sleeved t- shirt with a skull print, blue pants, black shoes, and a light blue sash. The three children were saluting Usopp as if they were soldiers. "Salutations, leader Usopp. Reporting our presences!", the three kids said.

"Ninjin!", the kid with the carrot head said.

"Tamanegi!", the kid with the onion head said.

"Piiman!", the kid with the pepper hat said.

"The rest of the Usopp Piates are here to follow your orders, captain!"

After being startled by his little companions, Usopp, to avoid being looked at strangely, stands up quickly and feigns a cough before saying his orders like the captain he is, "Hhmm, yeah. Hello, my little partners and members of the powerful Usopp Pirates! Today we have a work to do. Maybe is a little late, but not for that I'm gonna finish my routine", the Faunus with the long nose said.

"Of course, captain, but I need to say that this time you were talking for a long time!", Ninjin said with a serious face.

"Yeah, what will happen to you if one day that creepy butler catches you?", Tamanegi said.

"As you know, Klahadore hate so much Faunus. It's risky to stay at that mansion with that man", Piiman said.

"Calm, calm, my buddies. I need to agree that the grumpy butler is so annoying, but you know that my actions have always a good reason.", Usop said with pride.

The kids see each other with some dubts before turning their gazes with a lot of confident, "You have all the reason, powerful captain", Ninjin said happily.

"Miss Kaya is happier with your presence, and she smiles more time", Tamanegi said.

"Of course, even if our leader is a liar is the best bravest man of all Remnant", Piiman said.

Usopp places his hands in fists on his hips and starts laughing proudly, "You're right little pirate, now it's time to fulfill our itinerary for the day. Do you know what that means?!"

"YES! TIME TO GO TO THE VILLAGE!", the kids said with pride.

Then, the self-proclaimed Usopp pirates run through the forest to arrive at the village and begin their actions as huntsmen. Meanwhile, inside his mind, Usopp is reflecting about his history. Of course, lies where always part of his life and that would not change, but, why if he wants to try to make real some day? Why not become a real huntsman like his dad? "Kaya, one of these days, all my stories could come true. It doesn't matter if I delay, I swear that I will become the braviest man of these kingdoms and then, the great and powerful Usopp, will make sure that your smile does not fall back into the darkness!"

Meanwhile...

In a little wood house, there are many metal pieces around the floor, mechanic tools disordered in the table and drawings of a giant slingshot sticked on the walls. But the most recognizable thing was a giant green slingshot that is laying in a bed. On other side, there is anopened card along some papers. In those papers, it is read, "Congratulations, Usopp, and welcome to Beacon Academy."

That's it! It was a little bit shorter than the trailer of Luffy, but I can say that I enjoy more to write Usopp Introduction! It is one of my favorite characters of One Piece and, because of his form of behavior, I decided to start with a story that Usopp would tell Kaya. On other side, I was thinking a lot about this, but finally I decided to become Usopp a Faunus. You can ask me, why? Well, because I really like to potence more their problems with the rest of villagers. In the anime, he was hated by the people because of his constant lies. Add that he is a Faunus, and the results becomes more stronger because of the racism of that world. On other side, I enjoy writing the interaction between Usopp and Kaya. In my fic they will have a more deepest relation. Also, it is confirm that Usopp is going to enter to Beacon, but how this could affect the original story of One Piece?

Besides, I took inspiration of the animal representations to make his Faunus appearance. With this, I decided to make Usopp a chameleon but with some differences if I can compare with the design of Illia, another Faunus that appeared in RWBY and, yup, is a chameleon Faunus. Instead of only giving Usopp spots, I decided to put scales around his arms and a chameleon tail. Finally, to clarify, Usopp's Semblance is called "Pop Green" and gives him the power of control the plants and grown more fast seeds. In the anime, Usopp gets plants munitions during the time skip, but here he can do it earlier and have the possibility to control natural environment. Besides, the semblance could be potence using green dust. However, Usopp can't control big plants as trees, so is too limited especially in this first volume.
