Alternate Endings
Clash of Champions (2020) – In the end, after Jey Uso's brother Jimmy, who was injured (kayfabe) tried to "throw in the towel" when Roman Reigns had Jey locked in the Guillotine, Jey escaped and argued with Jimmy and Reigns Speared the latter after Jey moved out of the way. Taking advantage, Jey performed a Superkick and Uso Splash on the announcer's table and in the ring to beat Reigns to win his first WWE Universal Championship (and first world championship overall), as well as first singles title in WWE.
SmackDown (October 16, 2020) – As Reigns was about to perform a Spear, Braun Strowman counters and performs a Running Powerslam to win his second Universal Championship.
Hell in a Cell (2020) – As Reigns put Jimmy in the Guillotine, Jey performed a Superkick on Reigns and a Uso Splash as Reigns passed out. Paul Heyman proceeded to say "I quit" on Reigns' behalf as he was unconscious at the time.
TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (2020) – As Jey interferes in the match, Kevin Owens performs a Stunner on him through a table and as Reigns attempted to Spear Owens, he ran into a ladder, allowing Owens to perform a Stunner on a dazed Reigns and climbing the ladder to detach the Universal Championship.
SmackDown (December 25, 2020) – As Jey interfered, Owens hit Reigns with brass knuckles he hid and climbed over the top and as Jey attempted to catch him, Owens jumped off the top, landing on the floor and winning the match and the Universal Championship.
Royal Rumble (2021) – As Reigns knocked out the referee, Owens is able to successfully pick the handcuffs and handcuffs Reigns to the spotlight, winning the match and the Universal Championship in the process.
Elimination Chamber (2021) – As Reigns performed the Guillotine, Daniel Bryan almost passed out but broke out of it and performed the Yes Lock on Reigns and made him submit to win the match and the Universal Championship as Edge came out to congratulate Bryan and the two embraced to show a moment of respect.
Fastlane (2021) – As Reigns tapped out, Edge (who was special guest enforcer) rang the bell and gave Bryan the Universal Championship despite the tension the two had.
WrestleMania 37 (Edge) – Edge makes Reigns tap out while in the chair maneuver and as Bryan tries to interfere, he does the same thing to Bryan as the referee awakens to Bryan tapping out, winning Edge the Universal Championship.
WrestleMania 37 (Daniel Bryan) – As Reigns stacked Edge and Bryan, the latter kicked out. Surprised, Reigns is held in shock as Jey gives him the Ulafala necklace he wears around his neck but Bryan performs Running Knee on Reigns and pinned him to win the match.
SmackDown (April 30, 2021) – Reigns tries to perform a Spear, but fails. As the referee falls down from a Running Knee attempt by Bryan, Jimmy Uso appears from the crowd and Superkicks Reigns as Jey and Heyman argue with him. Jimmy then Superkicks Heyman and leaves, giving Jey a disgusted look. Bryan performs a Yes Lock on Reigns, who taps out, winning Bryan the Universal Championship.
WrestleMania Backlash (2021) – Cesaro performs a Cesaro Swing and a Neutralizer and Seth Rollins performs a Stomp on Jey and Heyman, before giving Cesaro a thumbs up as Cesaro performs a second Neutralizer to win the Universal Championship.
SmackDown (June 18, 2021) – Reigns performs a Spear on Rey Mysterio, who kicks out, shocking Reigns. Reigns sets up two tables as Rey performs a 619 on Reigns and sets him up on the tables, performing a Frog Splash on him and pinning him to win the match as Rey and his son, Dominik, celebrate and pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero, Rey's deceased best friend and longtime rival who passed away in 2005 from a heart attack.
Money in the Bank (2021) – Edge chases away Rollins and performs a Spear on Reigns and pins him to win the match. Afterwards, Beth Phoenix and Christian (despite being under contract from AEW) congratulate him.
SummerSlam (2021) – As Reigns performs a Spear, John Cena moves out of the way and Reigns hits the post as Cena performs a Super Attitude Adjustment and pins Reigns to win his first Universal Championship (and seventeenth world championship overall), thus breaking Ric Flair's previous record of 16 world championships.
Extreme Rules (2021) – As Reigns was about to perform a Spear, "The Demon" Finn Bálor performs a Sling Blade and a Coup de Grace on Reigns to win the match as he cries emotionally, regaining the title he never lost (he had lost the title after winning it to become the inaugural Universal Champion in 2016 but had to vacate it due to a shoulder injury he suffered).
Crown Jewel (2021) – Brock Lesnar performs an F5 on Reigns, Jimmy, Jey, and Heyman, who pleads with Lesnar. Lesnar performs three more F5s on Reigns and pins him to win the match.
SmackDown (December 3, 2021) – Sami Zayn gets up as Reigns shows up and as a dazed Zayn is struggling, Reigns hits the post when he performs a Spear, allowing Zayn to capitalize and perform a Helluva Kick on Reigns to win the Universal Championship.
Royal Rumble (2022) – As Reigns is about to hit Rollins with a steel chair, their former Shield stablemate Dean Ambrose (due to a deal that WWE and AEW negotiated) returns and a distracted Reigns is unable to hit Rollins, as he drops the chair. Rollins performs a Stomp on Reigns and celebrates with the crowd, as he and Ambrose celebrate and do the iconic Shield fistbump.
Elimination Chamber (2022) – Goldberg breaks out of the Guillotine and performs a Jackhammer and Spear on Reigns to win the Universal Championship.
WrestleMania 38 – Reigns attempts to perform a Spear, but similar to their WrestleMania 31 encounter, Lesnar sees it coming and performs a F5 on Reigns to unify the Universal Championship and WWE Championship into the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
SmackDown (June 21, 2022) – As Reigns is about to Spear Matt Riddle in mid-air, he performs a mid-air RKO and performs a Bro Derek on him to win the match. Lesnar returns to give Riddle respect as Reigns and The Bloodline seethe angrily.
SummerSlam (2022) – Lesnar performs a F5 on Austin Theory and dumps the announcwe table on Reigns, The Usos, Theory, and Heyman.
WWE Clash at the Castle – Drew McIntyre performs a Claymore Kick on Reigns, but Solo Sikoa debuts and a shocked McIntyre Claymore Kicks him and an interfering Sami Zayn, pinning the still-unconscious Reigns and winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Afterwards, McIntyre celebrates with the crowd, who chant "You deserve it!" as the show ends.
Crown Jewel (2022) – As Sikoa attempts to intervene, Jake Paul appears and attacks Sikoa, fighting him off. Logan performs a One Lucky Punch on Reigns and pins him to win the match. Jake and Solo stare off to end the show.
Royal Rumble (2023) – As Zayn, The Usos, Sikoa and Heyman attempt to interfere, Owens performs a Stunner on all of them, except Zayn, due to their real-life friendship, as Zayn instead tries to Helluva Kick Owens. Owens throws him onto the announce table and performs a Stunner on Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Elimination Chamber (2023) – As Jimmy tries to interfere on Reigns' behalf, Jey appears and tells Jimmy "This isn't the way, we're better than this, Uce" and Superkicks Jimmy when he tries to push past him as Reigns looks at Jey, betrayed. Jey Superkicks Reigns and allows Zayn to perform a Helluva Kick on Reigns and pin him to win the Universal Championship as Cody Rhodes appears to congratulate Zayn. The show ends with Kevin Owens reconciling and renewing their friendship and the Montreal crowd (where Owens and Zayn grew up during their childhood) cheer both of them, chant "You deserve it!" to Zayn and serenade his theme song.
WrestleMania 39 – As Sikoa appears, Zayn and Owens, who fought off The Usos, Superkick Sikoa and Heyman, allowing Rhodes to finish off his third Cross Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. As Cody celebrates with his wife, Brandi, their 1 1/2-year-old daughter Liberty, and the son of the deceased Luke Harper, Brodie Huber, his half-brother Dustin Rhodes (known in WWE under both that name and Goldust) returned and hugged Rhodes despite being under contract with AEW. The show ends with SoFi Stadium serenading Rhodes' theme song.
SummerSlam (2023) – Jey performs a Uso Splash on Sikoa and on Reigns and as he pins him, Jimmy pulls him out of the ring but as Jimmy Superkicks him, a betrayed Jey Superkicks Jimmy onto an unconscious Sikoa before performing another Uso Splash on Reigns and pinning him to win the match.
