After ten minutes of calming Danny down, Beelzebub continues to help Danny. Knowing very well how bad his grades are, thanks to the A-Listers, Beelzebub had Danny study in her library. It was hard, since Danny wasn't like Jazz, but he started to get into it after a few hours.

Beelzebub enters her room and looks in the mirror. She had to admit that she didn't think much of this form when she transformed herself to make Danny more welcome. Now that she had the chance to see it, she was quite surprised to see how beautiful she looked.

"Well, I was trying to copy Lucy, but it turned out better than I thought." She said, feeling her face.

She might have been in this form for almost a day, but she found herself liking it a lot. Plus, it was to keep Danny from freaking out. Since he was stuck here, she might as well stay in this form. She heard a small buzz, letting her know that Danny was done reading for now. She turns from her mirror and walks to the library. She found Danny trying to walk, but his legs still hurt from the burns he had on them.

"Easy there." She said, walking over to help him.

Danny groans as Beelzebub places his arm around her shoulders.

"Where to?" She asked.

"Bathroom," Danny answered, making her nod.

"Need help?" She asked, smirking.

"I can handle it," Danny said, blushing.

Beelzebub kept smirking. He was quite easy to tease. She helped him to the bathroom and stood outside. With some difficulty, Danny was able to use the bathroom and soon walked out. Beelzebub helped him back to her room, knowing her guest room was still unfinished. She helped Danny lie down before she went to him some soup.

"Just one or other, please," Danny said, knowing she would mix the two again.

"Which one?" Beelzebub asked.

"Chicken," Danny said, making her nod.

She left the room, making Danny sigh to himself. It had been a few hours since he learned that everyone thought he was dead, and it still hurt him. Danny really wanted to let everyone know he was alive and recovering. However, he was stuck in the Ghost Zone with a demon girl whose name he still couldn't place. Danny sighed, wondering how long he was going to be stuck there.

One week later,

Danny groaned as he awoke in the guest room that Beelzebub had finished a few days ago. It was as nice as Beelzebub's bed, but Danny was feeling more homesick as the days when past. However, Beelzebub did her best to make Danny welcome. However, keeping the fact a live human was living with her a secret wasn't easy. Beelzebub was summoned away, leaving Danny alone. He was able to walk without help and his bandages didn't cover his hands and legs as much. However, they were still red. Danny notices the clothes that were left for him as well as a note.

"Sorry to leave, but I have an important business to see to. I should be back by the end of the day. And yes, I know there's no time here. I leave some leftovers in the fridge. Help yourself! Love Beel!"

Danny sighs. Beel was a good host and seemed to spoil him a bit. However, she did seem nice. She helped him during his early stages of recovery, letting him know how his family and friends were doing, and promised to do everything in her power to help him get home. For someone who was a demon from hell, she was clearly a lot nicer than what he heard about most demons.

Danny puts on the clothes and walks downstairs. He hoped that Beel wasn't in trouble of some kind.

Beelzebub sat in her seat, leading back as she rolled her eyes. The Observants summoned her after hearing how a live human was staying with her. They were shocked to see her take up a humanoid form, but that didn't stop them from yelling at her.

"YOU'RE KEEPING A HUMAN IN THE GHOST ZONE!?"

"You said that the past 50 times." She said, rolling her eyes.

"The Ghost Zone is the home for ghosts! We only let you stay here because you were banished!" One of the Observants said.

"He was greatly injured. I wasn't going to let him die. You don't even know what would happen if a human dies in the Ghost Zone." She pointed out.

"And you chose to keep him in here?!" Another said.

"I haven't found a way to return him home. And his family and friends think he's dead." Beelzebub said, knowing she couldn't use the portals that appeared in the Ghost Zone.

"You have no right in keeping..." A Third started before someone else entered the room.

"A right that she chose to do herself."

"Clockwork," Beelzebub said, nodding.

"Beelzebub," Clockwork nodded back.

"What are you doing here, Clockwork?! You know the boy wasn't supposed to come through the portal." An Observant said.

"Time is always fickle. Never knowing what could change. Even the smallest thing, can change everything in a second." Clockwork said.

"Enough of the riddles! You have to fix this, NOW!" Another shouted.

Clockwork looks at Beelzebub before shifting to an old man.

"I will not." He said, shocking them.

"CLOCKWORK!" The Observants shouted.

Beelzebub smiles. This was the second time he refused their orders. The first time was when he was supposed to make Beelzebub was banished to the Void like she should have been, but Clockwork gave her a home and lived among the ghosts. The two had high respect for each other and Beelzebub was grateful to him for his help.

"Young Daniel was set here not by my means. It seems the world has other plans for him. Not all timelines have him getting powers or turning into a full ghost." Clockwork said, shifting to a young child.

He then turns to Beelzebub, who smiles.

"And not all timelines are the same. I have no control over what to change. Watching the time and seeing where it goes is what I do. I only step in if it's too dangerous to ignore." Clockwork told them.

"THAT'S IS UNACCEPTABLE!" They shouted.

"The boy is to return to the role he should have been given, and the Fly is to be taken to her rightful prison!" Another shouted.

"There are many roles these two can play. I will not force them to accept a role they do not want." He said, not bothered by their yells.

"I'm taking care of the boy. As long as he's in my care, no harm will come to him. He's great company." Beelzebub added.

The Observants glare at the two. It was already bad enough for the Fly to stay in the Ghost Zone, but having the human boy stay with her?! Time was falling out of place and Clockwork refused to fix it!

"Clockwork, we order you to..." They started.

"I will not." He said, knowing what they will ask of him.

"You're leaving us no choice! We will have the timeline fixed! Even if that means we have to erase this one!" They said.

"No, you will not," Beelzebub spoke for Clockwork.

"Stay out of this, outsider!" An Observant said.

"Clockwork told me about what would have if a timeline was removed. It won't just wipe us from existence! It will affect the other timelines! That's something that can't happen! Even Lucy would never agree to do that!" Beelzebub said, growling.

The Observants glared at her, but Beelzebub glared back. She likes Danny and still wants him to stay with her for the rest of their lives, but she understands that he still has a family and some friends in the human realm. She knew she had no right to keep him away from them. Even if they think he was dead.

"This shouldn't have happened..." One started.

"Time is beyond anyone's control. All I can do is guide those who need it." Clockwork told them.

The Observants looked ready to say something, but a light and a tower of flames appeared. Two scrolls appear and Beelzebub knew what the red one was from. The Observants read them and their "eye" widened in shock.

"Both rulers of heaven and hell refuse to let you act on your plans. You all know what will happen if you disobey them." Clockwork said.

With no other choice, The Observants stood down. Beelzebub smirks. Looks like she was right about Lucy. Seeing that there was no other reason to stay here, Beelzebub stood up and fixed her suit a little.

"Where are you going?" An Observant asked.

"Home. I have a guest to watch over and help recover." She said, walking away.

The doors slam shut and Beelzebub sighs.

"We're not finished." Another said.

"You can't go against those who order you. Beelzebub said.

"We might not be able to change the past, but you are still in trouble." A third spoke up.

Beelzebub shook her head. They always try to find an excuse to do something about her.

"He landed in my yard. Had it been anywhere else, I'm sure the others would help him, if not take care of him." Beelzebub said, rolling her eyes.

"You are to release the boy!" The First said.

"To us." The Second added.

Beelzebub shook her head. She wasn't going to turn Danny over to them. She refuses to do that.

"He's staying with me. Period." She said, reaching for the door.

"Have you gone soft? The Great Beelzebub, reduced to a human plaything." An Observant said, making her freeze.

"Plaything?" She said, her right eye twitching.

"Plaything?!" She shouted, growling.

"I'M NO ONE'S PLAYTHING!" She shouted, turning back into her real form.

Many of them had forgotten why she rebelled against Lucifer in the first place. She was never treated with respect, always told she was just some plaything to her. Hearing that word made her mad and she HATED being called a plaything.

"I WILL NOT STAND HERE AND LET SOME NOBODIES TAKE AWAY SOMETHING THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME! I TOOK CARE OF THE BOY AND HELP HIM RECOVER FROM HIS INJURIES! I SHOWED HIM WHAT HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS WERE DOING AFTER HE CAME HERE! I KNOW HE WANTS TO GO HOME AND SEE THEM AGAIN! I KNOW I CAN'T USE THE PORTALS BECAUSE THEY ARE FICKLE ON WHEN AND WHERE THEY GO! I WANT HIM TO STAY WITH ME, BUT I ALSO DON'T WANT TO TAKE HIM AWAY FROM HIS LOVED ONES! I'M NOT LUCIFER! I'M NOT GOD! I'M BEELZEBUB!" She roars, looming over the Observants.

Many flinch away in shock. Some tried to glare at her, but they knew how powerful she was. The only reason she hasn't tried to take over the Ghost Zone is because Clockwork gifted her a home. It was a sign of truce between them. As well as an offer of friendship between two powerful beings. Something Beelzebub greatly liked.

"Beelzebub..." Clockwork said, making her stop.

She looks at him before sighing. She shifts back to her human form and fixes her suit. With a wave of his clock staff, the doors opened and Beelzebub nodded in thanks. She soon left, heading back to her home. Once she was gone, Clockwork turned back to the Observants, who were recovering from her outburst.

"You be wise not to make an enemy out of her. It's why she rebelled in the first place." He told them.

"It's still foolish to trust her." An Observant said.

"It better to have her as an ally than an enemy. I can see that Daniel will help her a lot during his stay here." Clockwork said.

Clockwork then turns and leaves him. He knew of Beelzebub's past and knew what would happen if he didn't step up and offer her the one thing she wanted. He was glad to inform both Heaven and Hell about the Observant's plan to rewrite this timeline. He also knew that Lucifer and Michael will be visiting him soon. Everything was as it should be.

And stopping here. A bit more on Danny's recovery and a time skip. Mostly focus on Beelzebub for this chapter. The Observants knew she was in the wrong prison and were trying to get Clockwork to fix it. They also knew Danny wasn't supposed to come to the Ghost Zone when the portal turned on and they were trying to take him away from Beelzebub and set it up where Danny got his powers. However, not even God or Lucifer will allow them to fix a timeline.

I gave Beelzebub my version of what she rebelled against Lucifer. I don't think it was even said why she did. Or I don't think it did. She and Clockwork are friends because Clockwork treats her like an equal. Something Lucifer never did. Not sure what the next chapter will be, but it not going to have Danny return home yet. I'm still not done with his life with Beelzebub in the Ghost Zone.
