Some time after Adelinde walked away, Diluc woke up. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, suddenly remembering that he wasn't even in his own room. He had fallen asleep in Kaeya's room. Diluc looked next to him, seeing that Kaeya was still asleep. He sighed softly and moved to get up from the bed, accidentally causing the younger male to also wake up. "..Luc?" He mumbled. Diluc looked at Kaeya again "Yes, it's me" he said.

Diluc got up from the bed and stretched. Not only had he not changed clothes but he had also not taken his hair out of his ponytail. He let out a sigh, now he had to try and get his hair out of a ponytail. Kaeya remained in the bed for now, trying to wake up. Kaeya soon got out of bed as well. When he did, Diluc decided to hand him his eyepatch to put on. "I'm going to go let Adelinde know that we are awake so we could get breakfast. Come downstairs once you're done getting ready. Make sure you put your vision on too" Diluc said, trying to gently remind Kaeya about his vision as he left the room. He closed the door behind him before heading down the stairs.

When Adelinde saw Diluc come downstairs she greeted him "Good morning Master Diluc" she said "Is Master Kaeya also awake?" She asked. Diluc nodded "Yes, he is. He should be getting dressed" he said, even though he himself should also be changing clothes and trying to make his hair look presentable. Adelinde nodded in response and walked off, so Diluc went back upstairs to go to his room.

Once in his room he closed the door to change clothes before trying to get his hair out of the ponytail it was in. He eventually managed to not only get the ponytail out but brush out his hair. Though afterwards his arms were too tired to try and put it back in a ponytail. He left his bedroom and walked back downstairs, seeing that Kaeya was already there. Breakfast was being put in the table just as Diluc descended the stairs so he walked over to the table and sat down, Kaeya soon joining him at the table.

Diluc thanked Adelinde for the food before he began to eat, trying to think of something to say to Kaeya since it didn't seem that Kaeya would be starting a conversation anytime soon. "Did you sleep alright, Kaeya?" He soon asked. The bluenette looked at his brother and nodded a little bit "I think so" he said. Diluc nodded a little bit, he was surprised that Kaeya didn't mention the nightmare he had seemingly had the night before "You think?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Kaeya just nodded and Diluc let out a sigh "Alright, if you say so" the red head said.

The two soon finished eating and Kaeya decided to help Adelinde take care of the dishes and whatnot from breakfast while Diluc tried to relax a little bit but it didn't last long as there was a knock on the door. Diluc looked towards the door, confused. There weren't supposed to be any guests today, if there were he'd know. Since Adelinde was busy, Diluc answered the door.

He opened the door to find Albedo and Klee at the door. Diluc didn't often talk to Albedo, but he knew that they were most likely here to visit Kaeya, which was confirmed by Albedo. Diluc, after briefly talking with Albedo, let him and Klee inside before going to find Kaeya.

Kaeya was confused when Diluc told him that there were people there to visit him. He walked out to the main room of the winery to see who it was. As soon as he walked into the room, he heard someone yell his name, a child. Said child ran over to him to hug him, but ended up running into him at full speed, causing him to lose his balance and fall over. The little girl had also fallen over but was giggling.

"Klee you can't do that! He's still healing" A male said as he walked over to the girl. Kaeya looked away from Klee and looked at the male. He was quiet. Diluc walked over to help Kaeya up. The blond male started to apologize to Kaeya "I'm sorry Kaeya" he said "When Klee found out you had gotten hurt, she kept asking me to take her to go see you" he said. Kaeya nodded a little bit in response but then spoke "I'm sorry but.. who are you?"

Albedo's heart sank when he heard this, he looked at Diluc. Albedo had been made aware of Kaeya's memory loss after he got injured, but he didn't know how bad it was and Diluc didn't have any time to let him know either. Diluc had a worried look on his face but he was trying to disguise it. Diluc had hoped that seeing Albedo would help jog his memory but there were still no results with trying to get Kaeya's memory.

"Sorry.." Diluc said "He doesn't seem to remember anything from the past five years or so" he explained. Albedo nodded a little bit and looked at Kaeya again, who Klee was trying to talk to. It was clear that Kaeya didn't even remember Klee. Though the little girl seemed unaware of that right now, she didn't seem to have heard Kaeya say that he didn't remember Albedo.

Kaeya noticed Albedo looking at him and he turned his attention away from Klee. Albedo let out a small sigh but said nothing yet, not while Klee was right there. But even with nothing being said, Klee began to realize that something wasn't right with Kaeya, especially while she was talking to him, he hesitated when saying her name and just overall seemed different than his normal self. It started to upset her a little bit.

"This isn't funny anymore Kaeya!" She said, looking at the bluenette. She seemed frustrated as she got more upset. She didn't know why Kaeya was acting strange, so she thought he was just joking around. "Stop joking!" she said "It's not funny!" She repeated. "I'm.. I'm not joking" Kaeya said. This just made Klee more upset, she didn't understand. Albedo went over to the two and attempted to calm Klee down as he knelt on the floor beside the girl. "Klee.. Kaeya isn't joking" the blond said "He's having a hard time remembering things" he said, trying to explain Kaeya's behavior to Klee but the little girl refused to listen to any reasoning.

Kaeya had a sad look on his face when Klee suddenly began to cry. He felt that it was his fault that Klee was so upset as it was clear he should remember Klee and Albedo, but he didn't. Though when Kaeya attempted to look to his brother for help, he saw that not even Diluc was sure what to do in this situation. Diluc wasn't all that good with kids and Albedo was already trying to handle it as he knew Klee best.

Kaeya looked at Albedo again and Albedo seemed to notice, he spoke before Kaeya could even get any words out. "It's okay, Kaeya" he said "It's not your fault" he said. Kaeya nodded a little bit "Thank you.." he trailed off a little bit and the blond male spoke again "Albedo" he said. Kaeya was surprised that Albedo already knew what he was trying to say "Thank you Albedo" he then said.

Albedo gave a nod before turning his attention back to Klee, who was oclinging to his clothes and still crying. It would be difficult to try to talk to Kaeya while also trying to comfort Klee. He let out a small sigh and looked at Diluc "I think we'll leave. I'll try to come back to talk to him another day without Klee" he said "I knew he had some amnesia but I didn't know the full extent of it" he added as he began to leave with the little girl, who he was now carrying. He waved goodbye to Kaeya before he left though.
