The trailer starts with the Orion Pictures logo. The trailer starts with a cop car siren as we see The Terminator.

Narrator: In this city, under cover of darkness, someone is stalking Sarah Connor.

We see someone looking up Sarah Connor using a phone book. Terminator knocks on the door.

Terminator: Sarah Connor?

Sarah Connor #1: Yes?

Terminator knocks out Sarah with the door as the next scene shows a news report.

News Anchor: Sarah Connor, 35, brutally shot to death at her home.

The Terminator shoots the first Sarah Connor.

Ginger: You're dead, honey.

News Anchor: In other late-breaking news…

Sarah Connor: What's this?

Hal Vukovich comes in.

Hal Vukovich: Dead girl two.

Later, we see Ed Traxler talking to somebody.

Ed Traxler: Sarah Louise Connor. Is this right?

We see Terminator shoot another woman named Sarah Connor.

News Anchor: Of course, we'll have more on this late-breaking story as it comes in.

Narrator: She doesn't know why, but it's her he's after.

"The Terminator is one of the best time-travelling movies of all time." Peter-199999 said.

Ed: Did you reach the next girl yet?

Vukovich: No, I keep getting an answering machine.

Sarah (phone recording): Pick up if you're there. I'm really scared. I… I think there's someone after me.

We see the Terminator stalking Sarah.

Narrator: And no one can help her, except for one man.

Kyle Reese loads his shotgun as in another clip, we see Kyle introducing himself to Sarah.

Kyle Reese: My name is Reese. I was assigned to protect you. You've been targeted for assassination.

A gunshot and commotion is heard.

"Why did I try to kill her?" Terminator asked, remorseful.

"Because she is the mother of a Resistance leader." The Skynet leader said.

Sarah: This isn't true. How could that man just get up after you–

Kyle: It's not a man. It's a machine. A terminator. Underneath, it's a hyperalloy combat chassis, microprocessor-controlled, fully armored, very tough. But outside, it's living human tissue. They cannot make things like that yet. Not yet. Not for about 40 years.

Sarah: Are you saying it's from the future?

"It's not the most unbelievable thing I've ever heard." Sarah admitted.

Narrator: They came to fight… (we see gun shots, as Reese holds a picture of Sarah) for the one woman who could save their future.

Explosions are heard, as we see Reese using a bazooka.

Ed: And this, uh, computer thinks it can win by, uh, killing the mother of its enemy.

Gunshots are heard as lightning appears.

Narrator: One came to protect her.

Kyle appears.

Kyle: I came across time for you, Sarah.

Terminator crashes the cop car into a building.

Narrator: The other to kill her. Arnold Schwarzenegger is… The Terminator. Inhuman. We see Arnold get burned as Sarah screams. Relentless. Unstoppable. He has only one purpose… murder.

Reese tries to shoot The Terminator.

"This movie is really good." 199999-Tony.

Sarah: Can you stop it?

Kyle (sighing): I don't know.

Narrator: And now, Sarah Connor's world has become a battlefield with her at ground zero and The Terminator closing in. The Terminator enters a room and shoots everything. An adventure unlike anything you've ever seen before. Arnold Schwarzenegger is The Terminator.
