Author's Note: At long last, we have entered the next story in my Teen Titans series (fanfic crossovers of DC heroes and Cartoon Network shows). For this one, we are doing Infinity Train (Book 3) and Kid Flash. It's my own unique way of telling the story featuring a couple of DC characters, including a classic one who will be introduced in the next chapter.

Enjoy the story. Any and all comments are welcome.

The girl was tired, scared, and her legs were sore from all the running. But she kept on going. She had pink hair that matched her eyes, gray skin, and a dark-purple dress which became filthy and torn from all the bushes she had to break through.

After an hour of running, her foot got caught on a tree root and she fell to the muddy ground. She struggled to get back up, but stopped when she heard the distant sounds of angry shouting closing in on her. Instead of getting back up, she crawled to the nearest log and stayed low behind it. She took a small peek past the log to look at who was chasing her.

Following her trail were a group of angry men and women. None of them were unarmed. Some of them carried torches and others carried pitchforks, but most of them wielded guns which they kept up. The girl was about to gasp out of fear, but she stopped herself by covering her mouth with her hand. She remained silent while the angry mob passed by. She could hear the heartbreaking comments they made.

"Find her!"

"Burn that witch!"

"She deserves to die for what she did!"

Once the mob was gone, the girl was free to remove her hand from her mouth. She then broke down into tears and hid her face behind her knees.

"I'm sorry." She sobbed silently. "I didn't mean to."

The girl continued crying until several bright lights passed over her along with the sound of a train horn. The girl looked up seeing several bright lights rushing past her. As they slowed down, she saw that they were actually windows. When they finally stopped, she gazed upon what appeared to be a gray, gothic train. There weren't any tracks beneath it, yet it was still running.

A door on the train opened up in front of her revealing a green, swirling vortex that oddly beckoned her. She was hesitant on going in, but she heard the sound of the anrgy mob closing in on her again. With nowhere else left to run, she jumped right into the vortex.

Once the girl was gone, the door closed and the train disappeared before the mob could catch up. There were no traces of the train nor anyone else being there. And ever since that night, the mob couldn't find the girl they were hunting.

FIVE YEARS LATER

Central City, a beautiful city in Missouri. Though they have their fair share of problems, they also have their solutions for those problems. In the case of supervillains, they have their very own super hero, the Fastest Man Alive, the Flash.

For years, the Flash has protected Central City, and sometimes outside of it, from the likes of villains such as Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, and the Reverse-Flash. But he wasn't always alone. These days, he comes with his very own sidekick.

His name is Wally West, the Flash's nephew-in-law. Through his own series of events, he gains super speed just like the Scarlet Speedster. Since then, he's been accompanying him as the one and only Kid Flash. Like any teenager, he was rash and impulsive, but still good at heart, which encourages him to run into the line of fire with his mentor.

After school one day, Wally walked right past a police car which fortunately had a loud radio. So as he walked by, he heard the call to action through it without the cop noticing him.

"Attention, all units! Attention, all units! Robbery in progress at the Central City First National Bank! Suspect appears to be Captain Boomerang!"

After hearing that, Wally went to the nearest secluded alleyway and quickly changed. Once he was alone, he pulled out a gold ring with a lightning bolt on it. It popped open springing out a yellow and red costume, complete with red gloves, yellow boots, and yellow wings at the side of his head. Its chest was a white circle with a red lightning bolt on it. The top of his yellow mask exposed his red hair.

In a microsecond, Wally changed into his Kid Flash costume and immediately fled the scene.

After putting on his costume, Kid Flash rushed in the speed of light as he made his way to the bank. He stopped just outside of a circle of cars that surrounded Captain Boomerang, who carried a large sack of money in one hand while filling the other with a razor-sharp boomerang.

"Robbing banks?" Kid Flash asked rolling his eyes. "Such a cliché move for a supervillain."

"I know. These guys have no originality."

Kid Flash was surprised at the new voice coming from behind him. Much to his delight, he saw the Flash standing over him.

"Hey, Flash! So how do we do this?"

"I'll draw his fire while you take him from behind." The Flash advised.

"Got it." Kid Flash nodded.

The Flash raced after Captain Boomerang in a streak of yellow lightning. He stopped right in front of Captain Boomerang surprising him.

"Flash!"

"Hey. You got a good memory, Harkness." Flash said. "Say, how's about this? You drop the money and the boomerang, I don't kick your butt, you get a minimum life sentence, and everyone wins."

"I'll only win when you're out of the way!" Captain Boomerang yelled as he threw his boomerang at him.

Seeing the Boomerang coming, he ran out of the way. He gave his sidekick a thumbs up as a signal for him to make his move. Kid Flash ran right into the fight and successfully tackled Captain Boomerang's back. Once he was face down, Wally held his hands behind his back allowing the police to close in and handcuff him.

"How well did you think this was going to last, Digger?" Kid Flash asked.

"You're too late, brat." Captain Boomerang said as the police forced him up. "That boomerang I just through is a heat-seeker. No matter how fast the Flash runs, it will not stop until it cuts right through him!"

After hearing that, Kid Flash pressed the communication device in his right ear. "Flash, Harkness just told me his boomerang's a trap! He's locked in on you!"

"Yeah! I noticed!" Flash replied. He sounded as though he was trying to escape something. "I tried to phase through a wall, but it kept breaking through it after me!"

"Well, what's the plan?" Kid Flash asked.

"Here's the plan! I run back to you and you destroy the boomerang as it passes by! Ready?"

"Ready?"

Kid Flash waited until the yellow lightning flashed by. Almost as quickly, the boomerang flew by too, which was just what the young speedster was waiting for. Kid Flash jumped right behind the boomerang and sent down a karate chop which broke it in half. As soon as he landed back on the ground over two halves of a destroyed projectile, the Flash reappeared right next to him.

"You see that, Boomerang?" Flash asked confidently. "Now, it's your cue to say 'curses, foiled again'."

Captain Boomerang muttered angrily to himself as he was lead to the police car.

"Some people just don't appreciate the classics of good and evil." Kid Flash said. "Say, do you think we have time for some hot dogs?"

"Get out of my head." Flash replied.

After gathering a large stash of hot dogs and paying the vendor, the two speedsters sat at the top of a building's edge. Kid Flash moaned happily after the first bite of his hot dog.

"I gotta say," he said, "I never thought I could eat so much."

"Blame our powers." Barry said. "We're so fast, our metabolism is raised to the point where we need a buffet to keep our energy up. It has its perks, but it means we've got a big grocery bill."

"Yeesh." Wally said.

"Well, enough about our powers. What's new with you?" Barry asked. "How's school?"

"Pretty okay, I guess. Average, at worst. It's just hard to take any science seriously when I already know the basics of physics to understand my powers."

"I get it. Still, it keeps the brain sharp, and there's always something new to learn. And you may even find that there are some things where you're wrong at. Of course, you can only learn just by accepting you were wrong."

"That barely made any sense."

Suddenly, they were interrupted by the sound of thunder. The two speedsters looked over at the park's general direction and noticed a strong gust of wind gathering around there.

"Well, that doesn't look natural." Kid Flash said.

"No, it does not." Flash agreed.

When the Flash and Kid Flash made it to the park, they stopped seeing the man at the center of it all: a man wearing a green bodysuit with a yellow pattern down his front. He also wore a green visor over his eyes like goggles. In his hand, he held up a gold scepter with a green top generating lightning.

"Hahaha! Fools! Witness the awesome power of the Weather Wizard!"

"Seriously, Mardon?" Flash asked getting the villain's attention. "How many times do we have to go through this?"

"Try catching me this time, hero!" the Weather Wizard said. He pointed his scepter at an empty area and shot a bolt of lightning at it. Once it hit, the wind blew around it in a spiral.

The spiral grew bigger and bigger until it formed a large tornado that began tearing the nearby trees from the ground. While the tornado began its rampage, Weather Wizard created a smaller twister beneath himself and flew down the street.

"All right, Wally." Barry said. "I'll stop the tornado. You go after Weather Wizard."

"Wait. What if I stop the tornado?" Wally asked.

"You've never done it before. You have to run fast in the opposite direction of its rotation to cancel it out."

"I know. I've been practicing in case I ever needed to. Come on, Barry. Give me a chance."

The Flash knew there was no time to argue. "All right. I'll go after Mardon, then I'll come right back."

The Flash raced towards Weather Wizard while Kid Flash began his cycle. The tornado spun counter-clockwise, so the young speedster ran around it clockwise. He began to build up speed allowing red electricity to build up more and more from his body. He had no idea if the tornado was fading, so he kept up the pace.

It was only a short while, but the Flash returned with an unconscious Weather Wizard in his hands. When he saw his sidekick's progress, he realized that the tornado was quickly fading. He was proud at first, but then, he turned worried realizing something was wrong.

"Something's not right." He said. He then pressed the intercom to talk to Kid Flash. "Wally! Slow down! You're running too fast!"

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU, BARRY!" Kid Flash yelled.

"I SAID SLOW DOWN!" Flash repeated louder, but he wasn't heard. He tried to run towards Wally to stop him, but it was too late.

Wally had run so fast, an energy sphere formed around him. It let out a surge of electricity before letting out a bright flash of light. The Flash was blinded by it being forced to skid on the grass. When the light dimmed, he looked again to where Kid Flash was. Much to his worry, he saw that Wally was no longer there; nor was the tornado he had already stopped. Nothing was left but a black, burnt circle on the ground.

"Wally?" Flash gasped looking around frantically. "WALLY!"

When Kid Flash opened his eyes, he found himself still running. He looked around at where he was, which seemed like a bright-blue tunnel of lights. Several images appeared beside him as though they were TV screens. They all showed different kinds of heroes fighting villains in different areas.

One image showed a masked teenage boy, an orange alien girl, and a kid with a green watch fighting an octopus-headed alien monster. Another showed a blonde girl, a cyborg, and a black-and-haired preteen boy fighting a masked man in a blue cloak. The next image had a hooded girl, a green boy, four other teens, and a talking dog searching what appeared to be a haunted house. Next, Wally saw a boy in a pink shirt decorated with a star beside a teenage girl with a green ring on. They were fighting a large, muscular woman with orange skin and an orange gem where her nose should be. Finally, there was a teenage boy with blue, beetle-like armor on fighting evil giant robots alongside other giant robots.

"Whoa." He exclaimed in surprise. "I must be in the Speed Force. But I've never seen those things before. Hmm…"

"Wally West!"

Kid Flash heard a stranger's voice call out to him. Right in front of where he was running, he was met up with a ghost-like figure. He wore a blue and gold ensemble, complete with a blue outfit, a golden cape, a golden necklace with an ankh on it, gold gloves, gold boots, and a golden helmet covering his face.

"What the..."

"Wally West! It's broken! It's all broken!"

"What's going on?" Wally asked. "Who are you?"

"Listen to me!" the man in the golden helmet yelled. "You have to find the…"

The man's voice was drowned by a monstrous roar. He disappeared, and Wally saw something else running towards him. He widened his eyes toward a hulking figure in armor with glowing, blue eyes. It's movements sparked blue lightning as it ran toward Wally. He tried to dodge, but he couldn't avoid it. The armored figure struck him with a backhanded bash throwing him off his feet.

When Kid Flash was flown off his feet, the bright tunnel he was in ended and he fell in a strange land. When Wally recovered, he noticed the dead, barren ground he was laying on. He stood up to get a better reading on where he was, but all it did was raise more questions.

All around him, Wally could see a dead wasteland. There were a couple of trees, but there were so few, and they were dead and small. The sky was mostly clouded spiraling over the wasteland. There were mountains seen in the distance, but they were too far to see without squinting.

Wally was about to make a comment, but he was stopped by a loud horn that was closing in on him. He turned around seeing a black train engine quickly closing in on him. Thankfully, he was fast enough to dodge it. But he stood long enough to watch as the train that hit him kept going… and going, and going, and going, and going. No matter how long he waited, he couldn't see the train ending. He just stood there watching in confusion.

"What the…" he asked looking around. "Where the heck am I?"

A bunch of wild kids ran around what appeared to be a shopping mall. They all wore makeshift armor and had wiggly, red lines across their faces. As they played, two teens walked over the bridge above them and headed into one of the empty stores. One was a black girl with short, black hair, a salmon top, and purple shorts. The other was a blond boy with his hair tied into a ponytail. He wore a white sweatshirt and brown jeans that's missing half a leg. Each of them had green numbers that covered their right arms.

As they entered the store, they met up with a girl around their age who wore gothic, dark-purple clothes. Her pink hair were styled like devil horns, and her skin was gray. She was trying on a dark-purple necklace when she noticed her friends.

"Grace, Simon." She greeted. "We up for another raid."

"You know it, Jinx." Grace said.

"Ready to bring in the bad luck to those nulls?" Simon asked.

"Oh, yeah." Jinx said with her eyes glowing pink. "You know me. I live for bad luck."
