~A Pony To Remember~ It was a spring day like any day of the week.
Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash especially and all of the girls were going about their business with a stride in their hooves, although the mane six were pretty much inside doing their usual thing, while everybody else was out and about enjoying the weather. Beautiful ponies were traipsing back and forth looking for something new to do. Everybody's little sister or older sister was sure to have fun outside. It was always fun rolling a ball at the end of one's snout, but... speaking of the weather from a moment ago, it was hot out and just because of that, they needed some relaxation added to the relaxation they already felt.
Was it time for apple cider, then? ...Not really, the apple harvest had been plentiful last year but this time, they had gathered everything early because of frequent storms and that meant that apples were in danger of disappearing! For some reason there were storms out, maybe Rainbow Dash was pushing the clouds like she sometimes did!
"What about carrot juice?" asked Pinkie Pie. She looked up at Apple Jack who had just knocked at her door.
"Carrot juice... ya say?" Apple Jack drawled. "Ah love carrot juice as much as anybody else. Though, you had some at the party yesterday. Guess you haven't got your fill?" she said very playfully.
"Yesterday was yesterday. Or, it IS yesterday..." Pinkie Pie tried to say.
That made Apple Jack whinny and laugh the whole hour.
"And so, apples the whole farm over, but not a pony in sight" said Pinkie Pie later that day, as she was reading to the triplets and magically turning the pages of the book she had with her. "All through the land, not a breeze, or a kite. It was the Twilight hour" Pinkie Pie enunciated, "and everywhere there was to look, not a bucking bronco or a saddle hook."
The triplets said "Yay~!" and expressed so much joy at Pinkie Pie's reading that Pinkie was sure she had found a new calling for her. She would tote baby bottles, wrattles, and night caps, in a large carryall that she put over her broad shoulders.
"This is where all the carrot juice is going" said Apple Jack with amusement at Pinkie Pie's packing habits. Pinkie Pie was so neat that Apple Jack noticed she always put the baby bottles in the straps where they belonged and they never got mixed up with anything as they were brought to and fro.
"Yes" said Pinkie Pie, laughing and braying ever so slightly. She looked back at her beautiful mane and her tail wagged.
