Being the handful of people who still remember about Ace, they tend to meet at the Soba shop where Keiwa is still working part-time.

"Are you really sure, that's the path you're going to take?" Neon expressed her concern.

"Yeah, small steps for world peace." Keiwa smiled as he closed the open book and notebook on the table.

"I say this as someone who fought with Ace, you, and Michinaga but I think you should be aware of the corruption within the force."

"Corruption?"

"When my father was still taking orders from the management, he paid politicians and the higher-ups of the police department to keep the Jamato a secret."

"Neko-chan's right," Win inserted himself into the conversation as he sat beside the second eldest man in the group. "It wasn't just the Kurama Zaibatsu who paid various key officials in the city off, my grandfather was also among them."

"It's not final," Keiwa shook his head. "I'm exploring my options, nee-chan suggested it, I still have a few more months to graduate and finish my degree."

"Wait, you were in the middle of studying while we were competing in the DGP?" Michinaga stared at Keiwa with wide eyes.

"Heh, so our Tycoon is an overachiever too," Win smirked. "Not too surprising, you were the second one to figure out how the trump Jamatos worked."

"I don't know about overachiever, I just know that I needed to help nee-chan with the finances because she sacrificed her studies for me," Keiwa admitted. "And then maybe she can go back and continue her studies while I'm the one with a job."

"Speaking of Keiwa, there has been one thing that's been bothering me," Neon voiced out. "I know I sought Keiwa out after my father and I shooed the supporters away from this time period, but a few moments later he was already there behind Keiwa."

"Now that you mention it after Sueru took our Drivers away, we were both near him but he still sought out Tycoon." Michinaga recalled what happened.

"Are you saying, Tycoon became Sueru's target?" Win questioned.

"I just can't fathom, why, I don't think he has met Tycoon." Michinaga leaned back on his chair.

"You know anything about this, Keiwa?" Neon looked at the subject of the conversation.

"Jitt was a part of Sueru." Keiwa answered.

"Ace told us, yes." Neon nodded.

"You know how I worked for them, right?" Keiwa spoke softly, unable to look anyone in the eye.

"Wha- oh…" Win placed a comforting hand on Keiwa's shoulder. "I had heard from Tsumu-chan that Kekera's wish was your humiliating death."

"What does that have anything to do with Suer-" Michinaga cut himself off as soon as he realized the most possible reason why Keiwa was targeted.

"Jitt's anger over me siding with Ace again probably manifested in Sueru," Keiwa sighed. "Not that I'm complaining, I still wonder why Sueru stopped when he was about to kill me."

"Wasn't that because I grabbed his hand?" Michinaga asked.

"No, you were grabbing the hand that was holding my neck, I was talking about his free hand when he stopped midway through his attack."

"Maybe it's that Tanuki luck you've always had?" Win smirked.

"Maybe, while I'm not looking the gift horse in the mouth, I have nightmares because of that."

"Maybe it's not an answer we're meant to know," Neon offered. "Although as someone who was on the other end of that secret, I would want to know."

"Maybe, it's our kami-sama that stopped his attack." Win offered.

"It would totally be an Ace move to do that." Neon agreed.

Ace was leaning against the restaurant's walls listening to the conversation his comrades in arms, his friends had.

"As long as you believe in your wishes, they will happen."

Ace walked away from the restaurant while making a fox gesture with his hands as he remembered Keiwa's wish even when Sueru held him by the throat.

"I can't die here, not until we protect the world from him."
