Soon, Toad took Lincoln and Lucy to the Mushroom Kingdom. "Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom.", he said, as he gave the two kids a tour.
"Over there, is our park.", Toad said, to which two Toad kids were playing on the playground. "Over there, is our antiques shop.", Toad continued, as Lucy and Lincoln noticed a Toad selling old things, like used power ups, and old video games.
"This is our pet store.", Toad explained, as Lincoln and Lucy looked through the window. In the pet store, there were fish called Cheep Cheeps, little creatures called Biddybuds, and even ghost dogs called Polterpups. "Now that's the type of dog I want.", Lucy said.
"Over here is our legitimate hospital.", Toad said, as the kids looked through the window to notice a doctor Toad, giving another Toad some pills. "Legitimate, huh?", Lincoln whispered. "Right this way, is our post office, and over there is one of our local restaurants.", Toad said, as Lucy and Lincoln soon got a bunch of souvenirs.
While going up to the castle, Lucy and Lincoln heard someone crying for help. "That voice sounds familiar.", Lucy said, and when she and Lincoln turned around, they noticed Lana. "Lana, what're you doing here?!", Lincoln asked, to which Toad was shocked.
"Wait, you have another sister Lincoln?", Toad asked, "Actually, I have 10 sisters, as I am the only brother.". "Wow.", Toad said, as she noticed Lana crying, "What's wrong with her?".
"But first things first,", Lucy said, "What are you doing here?". "Well, I've come to tell you that my twin sister has been captured!", Lana cried. "Captured?! How?!", Lincoln asked. "Well,", Lana said, "This is what happened.".
"You see,", Lana said, as a flashback plays, "Me and Lola went out to get you guys, until we noticed this strange green pipe from the ground where you are digging. And as we went down into in,", Lana continued, "We've gotten separated, and now she's in this place full of lava and volcanos, and turtles with spikes on their backs!".
"Oh no!", Toad said, "Lola must be in the Dark Lands!". "Dark Lands, huh, what are these dark lands?", Lucy asked. "The Dark Lands is the place Bowser calls home, he and his Koopa Troop are known for kidnapping Princess Peach, and Mario and Luigi often rescue her.", Toad explained, "Your sister will be roasted alive, if we don't get her back!".
"Then we better go see who lives in this castle up ahead.", Lincoln said, but two Toad Guards said, "Sorry, but our Princess is in another castle!". "Oh no, not this again.", said a voice, revealing to be Mario.
"Sorry about that, Toad.", Mario said, and Toad said, "No problem Mario, those guards are always so stubborn.". "Oh, I see you found some new travelers.", Mario said, but Toad soon explained Lana's story, and when Mario heard it, he was very startled.
"I think we better get the princess!", Mario said, and Luigi, who was right behind him said, "Don't worry, we'll do anything for your twin sister. Besides, Mario's my twin brother.".
Meanwhile, back in the Dark Lands, Lola woke up, to reveal that she's in a cage over hot lava. "Where am I?!", Lola asked, her heart beating like a drum. "Welcome to the Dark Lands!", Morag said, as she noticed Lola in the cage.
"Ha, you're plan has worked better than expected!", Bowser said, as he noticed Lola in the cage. "Let me go!", Lola said, "I wanna go back home!". "Well, you'll make yourself home here, instead.", Bowser said, as he and Morag did their evil laughter.
Soon, Kamak flew through the window, and told Bowser and Morag that three humans, one with an orange shirt, one wearing a dirty cap, and one with a spooky appearance, have appeared in the Mushroom Kingdom. "Curses!", Bowser explained, "So, you're siblings might try to find you, Louie!".
"It's Lola!", Lola snapped, "And if you mess with one of us, you'll mess with all of us!". Soon, Bowser's son, Bowser Jr, noticed Lola, and when he did, he got lovestruck. "Uh, is that guy okay?", Morag said.
"Oh, that's my son, Junior.", Bowser said, as he snapped him out of his daydream. "Oh, I was just getting to the good part.", Junior said, to which Bowser asked, "What good part?".
"Daddy, you know how you capture Peach, right?", Junior asked. "Yeah, so?", Bowser said, to which Junior said, "Well, I think this girl might just be as gorgeous, and beautiful.". When Bowser heard this, he knew that Junior might be onto something.
"You know, you're right?", Bowser said, "We can't kill her, we should make Junior marry her!". When Lola heard this, she got even more scared, "What?!?!", she screamed.
"This plan is going to get even better.", Morag said, "Now you will become part of the Koopa Troop!". "Not if Lincoln, Lucy, and Lana have anything to say about it!", Lola said, "They're going to kick your shell off!".
"Does that girl ever shut up.", Junior asked his dad, to which he said, "I hope so.".
In the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi took Lucy, Lincoln, and Lana to the castle. "Princess Peach!", Mario said, "We've found these three visitors, and one of them has a problem.".
"Mario.", Peach said, "You know I don't like uninvited guests.". "I know, but still, it's an emergency, like ravioli!", Luigi said, and Lana told Peach, the whole story.
"This is bad!", Peach said, "We must prepare the older two for the adventure.". "But what about me?!", Lana asked, to which Peach told her that she is too little, and that she would be safer in the castle. "Ok.", Lana said with sadness.
