[Location: Somewhere near Azur Lane base/Headquarters]
As Naruto sailed on his KMS Maelstrom across the open ocean, he was doing a scout on the open waters using his binoculars, while his radar activated to locate any enemy fleet or allied fleet around. While he was scouting, the radar finally detected a something on his range which Naruto stop his work before heading to the ship's bridge. As he entered the room as he look at the radar system and sees a single point located in 30 degrees northeast.
"What the hell? A single vessel? I need to checked it out." He said as he head out to the bridge. He then take a look on northeast only to spotted an aircraft carrier bearing a eagle flag which it hailed as Eagle union and the ship's hull number is CV-06. But what surprise him is he catch a sight of a beautiful maiden who's hair is white as snow and her eyes were violet color. She wears a admiral cap on her head, a sleeveless white vest, black short skirt with golden linings and a black sleeved cape with a red interior.
Naruto couldn't help but blushes which he believe to be love at first sight. He also admitted that he wanted to date a girl like her in the human cities although they were still in war with sirens so not yet for now.
"That girl, I remember her name. My father told me that the girl who bears the ship hull number CV-06 is the Legendary Grey Ghost herself. USS Enterprise, 2nd of Yorktown class and current leader of Eagle union. But why is she doing here at the middle of open waters with no escort ships. (Sigh) Father is right, she is always a reckless girl as ever." He said as he felt something landed on his shoulder which he look at the side revealing a bald eagle. The eagle chirped loudly as it nudges its head to Naruto's face.
"That's odd. No eagle can fly on the ocean since you were supposedly live in high mountain… unless you must be belong to Enterprise, aren't you?" He asked the eagle who chirped happily to him.
"I see, in that case, (bring out a bucket of fresh fish and place on the platform-like table) here is your meal… uhh Maverick?" He said while wanted to know if he answer the eagle's name correctly which turns out, the eagle nodded at him that he is correct and the eagle glides to the table slowly pick one fish and eat it quietly.
'Nice pet you have, Enty-chan? I'll just follow you behind and not cause any harm or trouble to you.' He said as he follow Enterprise's ship behind not wanting to be torpedoed or bombarded by her SBD Dauntless.
Meanwhile, Enterprise was still busy on scouting the ocean to locate any sirens but she found nothing. She wondered why but she needed to head back to her base, when she turned around. She spotted a gray battleship that is identical to Bismarck class battleship but larger and closely related to H-class battleship.
"By the Gods, an Ironblood warship, nonetheless a Bismarck class?! This might be very bad, I only got repaired few hours ago, just critical condition not entirely. I definitely don't want to ended up like HMS Hood for some reason." She said as she sweating nervously of her great encounter on Bismarck class battleship.
[Meanwhile: Royal Navy main fleet]
"Achoo!! Someone is talking to me about the encounter of Bismarck?" Said the blonde girl wearing a noble blue dress with a short cape with England design and a white hat.
"No need to worry Hood, if we encounter the Bismarck. I'll personally stopped her from sinking you even if it takes for me and my fleet to shoot her down with numerous volley shots." Said the girl who has long blonde hair with ruby eyes. She wears a mix of red and white uniform with golden linings, white skirt with high stocking. She also wears a red cape that belongs to a King with a sheathed sword on her right waist.
Right now, the blonde girl wearing blue dress revealed her identity as HMS Hood, pride of royal navy alias Mighty Hood. She was giggling softly at her friend which she said.
"Fret not King George V, I don't want to be sunk by her again. I need to be more careful when we meet each other again. Either way, we should've be worry to Her Majesty now." She said as she revealed the name of her friend. The blonde girl with ruby eyes called herself as King George V or KGV for short, she then look at the ship where she spotted a petite queen throwing a tantrum that she needs to get rest.
"You're right, but let Belfast handle her duty as a finest head maid for our queen." She said as she and Hood decided to have a tea party on the KGV warship.
"Okay calm down. (Thinks) All I need to do is to send my SBD Dauntless squadron and loaded it with bombs and strike 'her' with dive bombing but the real problem is I've entered on 'her' firing range. Her AP shells will strike me down with full penetration on my ship hull. I can able to speed up my knots to full speed so that I can get out on 'her' firing range. That's my plan, I guess?" She said as she increase her knots to maximum. But there is something she forget about it.
"Wait a minute? Where's Maverick?" She questions herself as she looked around the sky and whistles at her eagle to come back. While she is waiting for her eagle to come back, it never responded her call.
"Something is not right? Where the hell is maverick?" She wondered as she grew concerned since that eagle is a gift from her dearest older sister, Yorktown. She doesn't want to lose something dearest to her.
Meanwhile, on the KMS Maelstrom, Naruto heard a whistle from the aircraft carrier which it meant that Enterprise is calling her eagle back.
'Hmm, she's calling her eagle huh?' He thought himself.
"Okay Maverick, it's your time to go back to your owner. (Spotted Maverick who slept peacefully) Huh? Oh no! You've just sleep after you ate your food?! What a troublesome." He said as he gently picked up the eagle with his right arm. Then he went to the signal lamp and send a Morse code to Enterprise.
"I hope this will works, please respond my message, Enterprise." He said as he hoped for her to respond his message.
Back to Enterprise, when she looked for her eagle. She look at the Ironblood ship that is sending Morse code via signal lamp. After she finally puzzled out the Morse code from the Ironblood, she get it what it means.
"An Ironblood preparing to onboard on my ship? I don't even think that 'she' wants to onboard my ship. (Sigh) I guess that I'll respond it to 'her'." She said as she went to the bridge and sent a message to the Bismarck class.
In the KMS Maelstrom, Naruto received a message from Enterprise that she accepted him to onboard on her ship.
"Welp, that's good to know but, this is my first time to talk with girls. I've only talked to Ojii-san (Hiruzen), father and Dog-niisan(Kakashi), not some girls like her. Urgh, God please give me strength and wisdom. Guide me to my path and bless me with your blessing, Amen." He said as he finished his short prayers.
After that, his ship stopped besides Enterprise's ship on her starboard. Naruto carried maverick on his arms carefully before he jumped to the aircraft carrier's flight deck. After he arrived shortly, he met face to face with Enterprise as she raises her eyebrows in curiosity.
"Hello shipgirl, who are you and what's your business here? Why are you holding Maverick in your arms?" She asked him, then Naruto twitches his eyebrows that he has been mistakenly called as a girl by her. It is kind of serious joke to him.
"Well then, first: I am KMS Maelstrom of 3rd Bismarck class battleship or you may call me as Naruto in human name. Second: I'm not affiliated with the Crimson axis but I wanted to affliated on your side, the Azur lane to bring salvation and peace unification with both sides. And lastly, your eagle seem to like me after I fed him 1 bucket of fish as his meal, then he fell asleep in my arms right now. Oh by the way, I'm not a girl, I'm a boy." He said to her, then Enterprise have a blank look trying to process every details from him as she said.
"Nani!? You're a male!? B-b-but how and when!? You just look like Bismarck except you're too (Blushes madly) damn handsome." She said as she uses her hat to cover her blushing cheeks. Then Naruto walked to her as he uses his free hand to touch her forehead.
"Are you alright, you seem to go red? I'm not sure if you have a fever or something?" He said as Enterprise blushes more and more. She then shake her thoughts away as her blush was still on her cheeks before adjusting her cap on her head. It looks like her cold heart has been melted by Naruto's will of fire as if its nothing to stop him to melt Enterprise's cold hearted emotions. Maybe it is her love at first sight with Naruto who is her enemy. She is a Eagle union while him is from Ironblood.
"I'm not sick, I'm just getting embarrassed that I said you were a girl, that's all. (Takes Maverick on her arms making Maverick woke up as he flew away out of her arms.) Okay, now my eagle flies away from me. So Maelstrom or should I called you Naruto this time. You're intentions on joining Azur lane is quite good reason but your allies supposed to be Crimson axis, so why?" She asked him. Then Naruto looked at her as he said.
"Simple, I don't want world domination. Power? I have it already. Revenge? I don't need it. Loyalty? I will follow someone who deserves more than anyone else. I only joined your faction is because I wanted to fulfill my surrogate father's wish is to bring world's peace. A peace were all faction became one, either be a humans, shipgirls or even sirens themselves." He said to her as Enterprise heard that he mentioned Sirens, her natural enemies.
"I heard about what you said but Sirens are our natural enemies. They've purged the human race, we were created by humans to fight back against sirens. We were made as a weapons for them and to bring the balance of the world once more." She told him about their duties as a kansen.
"I got your point. But what if there are some sirens who wishes to have peace with us. What if the humans were the ones who told you all the lies about the sirens as our enemies? What if after the siren war, humans will use you all for their corruption, to bring chaos, war and anything that may bring hell to you and your shipgirls life? That is the main reason if we don't gain peace with them. My father, an ex-Nazi German knows the true terrors of the human corruption, he couldn't trust them but he always play their game so that he can survive. I've always know that killing each other will do no good. This world is been cursed by hatred, an endless cycle of hatred is what the root of the problem to this world. Humans have hatred to each other, they used you all like a chess pieces to play your role and same goes to the sirens. When we play the game, there is no turning back as there are betrayal, genocide, massacre and one of things I don't want to face, death. Death is inevitable, even Gods can die as if it is painless death for them. That's why I need to bring peace between humanity and sirens for a good reason and live happily life. It is my duty not as a ship boy but as a observer and hero of humanity." He explained her his own reasons to bring world's peace. Then Enterprise thought of that carefully as she wondered that his words will come true. Then a radio call was heard on their respective bridge knowing them that they were under attack by fleet of sirens on AL headquarters.
"Everybody…… can you …… hear me over?…… This is [Static] we were …… under attack … by an enemy siren fleet…… all ships head back… we need reinforcement… ASAP." She said through radio call.
"Welp, we have work to do. (Look at Enterprise) Enterprise, it is my first time knowing your identity but I say this one time. Can you trust?" He said as he offer her a helping hand. Then Enterprise thought of it as she have no choice but to… accept it whatever is the cause.
"Okay then Naruto. For onwards, you are now officially member of Azur lane. But if you betray me and others, I'll kill you with my dauntless bombers." She said with a scariest glare which Naruto gulped in fear even if he is related to Bismarck. He has no match from the wrath of Grey ghost especially if it is a ship girl.
'Thou shall not hath the wrath of the shipgirl. God help me please.' He prayed himself while begging God. Although he needed someone to help, more like a Saintess. However there is one saintess and she is somewhere else that is out of his reach.
In the place called Iris orthodoxy, a light orange haired girl which her hair length went past on her waist, she have a pink eyes and elegant clothes that makes her look like a true Saintess. She have a bible on her hands which she read it every time while sitting under the beautiful tree. While reading the bible verse, she sneeze gently as wondered who needs her help.
"Strange? It seems someone needs me? I feel bad for someone else but I pray for his/her safety." She said as she was greeted by fellow shipgirl.
"Good morning, Richelieu-sama." Said the little girl who is a destroyer class shipgirl. The holy maiden revealed her identity as Richelieu, 1st class of Richelieu battleship and the leader of Iris Orthodoxy. She hoped that someday she will bring her sister Jean Bart back to her righteous path. For now, she needs to head back as it is her time to say the prayers to her righteous God the Father.
So far, only few characters were revealed in this chapter 1, next update will be the first battle of Naruto together with Enterprise against a 2 Sakura empire's aircraft carrier and the fleet of sirens. Here are the advanced list of Harem in Azur lane:
