C. C. entered Ashford Academy with more confidence and happiness, than she had on her first day. For as long as she could remember, C. C. had autism, which prevented her from being able to express herself and fit in. She had been teased by dozens of students, as well as a few adults. She was so scared of interacting with people, that she wanted to stay silent and avoid participating in a conversation, except when it was absolutely necessary. Her fragile, shy life had been changed, thanks to Lelouch Lamperouge, who was the first person she felt comfortable being around. During the past few months, Lelouch had been going out of his way, to make C. C.'s life more comfortable and fun. Lelouch's actions were originally done, because he was a caring and nice guy. As time went on, his support to C. C. was due to him falling in love with her. Despite how shy and uncomfortable she felt, C. C. had similar feelings for Lelouch.

C. C. walked to her locker and got the supplies she needed. Afterwards, she walked by Lelouch's locker, to greet him. Lelouch was playing on his cellphone, while fiddling with his textbooks. He was so distracted, that he didn't notice C. C. was there. C. C. wanted to speak up and let Lelouch know she was there. However, she was too scared, so she stood in silence, while waiting for Lelouch to notice her. Lelouch sent a bunch of texts and looked at a bunch of random videos, before turning around and seeing his girlfriend. Lelouch was an infamous chatterbox. However, he briefly stood around in silence, because he was distracted by how beautiful he thought C. C. was.

After a moment of awkward silence, C. C. said, "I'm the one who's supposed to be silent and shy, not you."

Lelouch smirked and replied, "Then it appears that I've tricked you into speaking up."

C. C. jokingly responded, "How devious of you."

Lelouch put his hands on his hips and proudly said, "I'm quite the mastermind."

One of Lelouch's teachers, Diethard Ried, walked by and said, "Mastermind? Give me a break. You're a loser."

C. C. usually wasn't one to question authority, but when someone mocks Lelouch, you better watch out. She gave Diethard a disapproving look and asked, "What right do you have, to call him a loser?"

Diethard had a smug smile on his face, while explaining, "I love mocking my students. It breaks their confidence and makes them act like paranoid weirdos, which makes my days more entertaining." He laughed and walked away.

C. C. looked at Lelouch and said, "Mr. Ried has nice hair, but he's a jerk. It's pathetic of him, to insult his students. His behavior should be reported."

Lelouch replied, "I would tattletale, but Principal Ashford already doesn't listen to me."

C. C. asked, "How come?"

Lelouch nervously fiddled with his textbooks, while saying, "Before I met you, I acted a little more reckless and did a bunch of dares. I did some questionable stuff, like dancing during class, throwing textbooks out the window, putting ketchup on trophies, and putting expired food in the teacher's lounge. Some of the teachers ate chips, that expired five months ago."

C. C. said, "So, you're not going to report him?"

Lelouch replied, "I'm afraid that wouldn't end well. However, you could report him."

C. C. felt a bit uneasy, while responding, "I guess I could do that." She walked to Principal Ashford's office. She was planning on telling the Principal, about Diethard's rude antics. However, she started feeling uncomfortable, before stepping into the Principal's office. She left the office and walked back to Lelouch. She looked a bit guilty, while saying, "I'm sorry. It's hard to explain why, but I got a little afraid."

Lelouch put his hand on C. C.'s shoulder and replied, "It's okay."

Four hours later, C. C., Lelouch, and the other students were in the cafeteria. As always, Lelouch and C. C. sat at the same table and had a conversation, while eating. Lelouch held C. C.'s hand, while saying, "I'm afraid I have news, that's not very glamorous."

C. C. had a confused look on her face, while asking, "What do you mean?"

Lelouch said, "I'm going to on a little trip, next week. My parents live a hundred miles away, so I don't get to make regular visits. My mom's been really wanting to see me. My dad probably doesn't care, but I still want to see both of them. I'm going to be gone for a few days. I hope that's cool."

C. C. replied, "If I may be honest, it's a chilling thought."

Lelouch said, "I know this is an icy piece of news, but believe me, everything's going to be fine. At most, I'll be gone a week. I'll make sure to call you. Also, you have a key to my house, so if you need any household item, you'll be taken care of."

C. C. felt like she was getting kindness she didn't deserve, while replying, "You're too nice to me, Lelouch."

Lelouch responded, "You deserve the best." He kissed C. C. Although C. C. looked super embarrassed, she loved the kiss.

The school's cook walked by and threw a pie in Lelouch's face. C. C. helped wipe the pie away, while Lelouch looked at the cook and asked, "Why did you do that?"

The cook answered, "Because you can't kiss at school."

Lelouch smirked and replied, "Then you're cooking up a hypocritical statement." Lelouch pointed to the cook's apron, which said "Kiss the cook." The cook looked embarrassed, while running away.

A few days later, Lelouch finished packing his stuff and he was ready, to go on his trip. He had C. C. come to his house, so he could give her a proper goodbye. After C. C. got inside, Lelouch said, "I'll really miss you."

C. C. shyly replied, "I'll also miss you."

Lelouch had spent time with C. C., every single day, since she first joined Ashford Academy. Because of that, he felt concerned and nervous, about going on the trip. He looked at her and asked, "Will you be okay?"

C. C. was too embarrassed to admit, that she was already wanting the trip to be over. A part of C. C. wanted to make Lelouch stay. However, she felt that it'd be selfish, to make him cancel a trip to his parents, for her benefit. Because of that, she never brought that desire up and she tried to hide her sadness, while saying, "I hope you have a great trip, Lelouch."

Lelouch replied, "Thank you. Try to relax and don't be afraid. I want you to have a nice, fun time. Do you think you will?"

C. C. answered, "I guess."

Lelouch hugged C. C. and said, "I love you."

C. C. replied, "I love you too." Lelouch grabbed his stuff and kissed C. C., before walking out.

C. C. drove home. After getting inside, she turned on her TV and watched several episodes of 60s' Batman. She ate several slices of pizza, for lunch and dinner. She didn't do much else, for the rest of the day. Her afternoon and evening didn't feel as noteworthy and meaningful, without a visit from Lelouch. She tried to ignore her sad feelings, while getting ready for bed.

Meanwhile, Lelouch drove to his parent's house. His parents lived in an old-fashioned, but big house. Lelouch pranced to the door and knocked on it. Lelouch's mother, Marianne opened the door and gave Lelouch a big hug. She said, "It's great to see you, son."

Lelouch replied, "Thanks, Mom."

Marianne looked at Lelouch's father, Charles, and said, "Lelouch has arrived." Charles angrily groaned.

Lelouch said, "It's great to see you guys."

Marianne replied, "Your visits are always a pleasure."

Charles snobbishly said, "Lelouch's visits are hardly special. Out of all his siblings, he's the least valuable."

Lelouch sarcastically replied, "What an amazing compliment, Dad."

Marianne gave Charles a disapproving look and said, "It's about time, that you give Lelouch a proper compliment."

Charles stared at Lelouch and replied, "You're a halfway decent son."

The next morning, C. C. got out of bed and started getting ready for her day. However, she didn't have much planned. Without Lelouch, things didn't feel the same. Lelouch's absence made the day feel like it had lost what made C. C.'s day special and exciting. C. C. didn't want to spend the day, moping around and wishing Lelouch was there. Because of that, she figured she should visit her friends. She got out her cellphone and called Shirley Fenette.

Shirley answered the phone and said, "Hi, C. C."

C. C. replied, "Greetings, Shirley."

Shirley asked, "What's going on?"

C. C. said, "Not much is going on, since Lelouch is on his trip."

Shirley replied, "You miss Lulu, don't you?"

C. C. answered, "More than you could ever imagine." She blushed with embarrassment and said, "I can't believe I admitted that. Anyways, I know Lelouch wouldn't want me to be all sad and lonesome, so do you wanna hangout?"

Shirley replied, "I was about to go to the local pool. You're more than welcome to come by."

C. C. said, "You sure like swimming, don't you?"

Shirley replied, "You bet. I have a swimming-collection, that takes up a majority of my garage." She blushed with embarrassment and said, "I can hardly believe I admitted that."

A short time later, Shirley splashed into the pool, while wearing her Ashford Academy swimsuit. She swam around, for a few minutes, before C. C. stepped into the pool, while wearing a white swimsuit. Shirley swam to C. C. and said, "It's great to see you."

C. C. replied, "Thank you. I'm not a very good swimmer, so I'm probably going to be a very fun guest."

Shirley calmly responded, "You don't need to worry about that, C. C. Swimming is about fun."

C. C. looked a bit relieved, while saying, "That's nice to know. So, what do swimmers do for fun?"

Shirley replied, "They swim around, splash into the pool, and jump off diving boards." That stuff didn't sound fun, in C. C.'s opinion. It sounded dangerous and boring. Because of that, C. C. didn't do very much, while Shirley splashed around and jumped off the diving board. Shirley noticed that C. C. was getting bored, so she tried to entertain her friend, by doing a bunch of jumps and cannonballs. Although C. C. wasn't having a very exciting time she appreciated Shirley's kindness.

After some more swimming, Gino Weinberg walked by the pool, while carrying a few gallons of ketchup. He tripped and accidentally dumped the ketchup into the pool. A lot of the swimmers looked annoyed, because they were covered in ketchup. One guy thought the ketchup was blood, so he did several screams, before realizing his mistake. Gino felt embarrassed and ashamed, so he walked away.

Shirley looked at C. C. and was surprised to see her friend giggling, so she asked, "Why are you laughing?"

C. C. answered, "I'm sorry. I know this is a crummy situation, but it's so silly, that it's making me laugh." Shirley agreed, so she did a few giggles. After laughing, C. C. and Shirley got out of the pool. Their hair was covered in ketchup, so they quickly washed the ketchup off and changed into their regular clothes.

After C. C. left the pool, she started walking to her car. Before she got there, she saw Kallen Stadtfeld, who was another one of C. C.'s friends. She waved at Kallen.

Kallen said, "Hi, C. C. You've got some red stuff in your hair."

C. C. replied, "Today's swimming pool had some ketchup in it." Kallen looked confounded, so C. C. explained what happened.

Kallen said, "That sounds like a rough morning. You should do something more fun. I was about to go to the movies. Would you like to come along?"

C. C. replied, "Okay then. What film are we going to be seeing?"

Kallen smiled and responded, "A super cool one. It's got more intensity and action, than you could ever imagine." That didn't sound great, in C. C.'s opinion, but she wanted to give Kallen a fair chance, so she went to the film.

A half hour later, the film started. The film was a violent, gothic film, which had a group of vigilantes blowing up ninjas, who wanted to steal an army of monster trucks. Kallen felt overjoyed, due to the action-packed intensity and epic scenes. However, C. C. had a much different reaction. She felt uncomfortable and a little scared, by the film's frequent violence. Kallen kept cheering and applauding. During a majority of the film, she hadn't been noticing C. C.'s reactions. Eventually, she looked at her friend and noticed how uneasy she looked. She felt a bit guilty, so she put her arm around C. C. and said, "Don't worry, buddy. Everything's gonna be cool."

C. C. replied, "Okay then."

After the film was over, C. C. and Kallen left the theater. Kallen looked at C. C. and said, "I'm sorry we went to a film, that gave you some scares."

C. C. replied, "Don't worry about that. Although the film wasn't my cup of tea, I enjoyed seeing you."

Kallen responded, "Aww, you're a sweet friend."

C. C. considered driving home, but that didn't sound exciting enough. While going for a walk, she thought about what she could do. She remembered that she had permission to go to Lelouch's house, at any time. Because of that, she decided to drive there.

C. C. walked into Lelouch's house. While roaming around, she looked at Lelouch's pictures. She figured there would only be one or two pictures of her. However, Lelouch had several pictures of her. She smiled, while feeling sentimental feelings in her heart. Although Lelouch wasn't there, C. C. felt like she was with a part of him. She could feel his comforting presence in her heart. She laid on the couch, while staring at Lelouch's pictures.

Several minutes later, C. C.'s cellphone rang. Lelouch was calling her. She answered the phone and said, "Hi, Lelouch."

Lelouch replied, "Hi, C. C. It's great to hear your lovely voice." C. C. blushed. Lelouch asked, "How are you doing?"

C. C. shyly answered, "I'm okay. Things aren't perfect or anything, but I'm fine. How are you?"

Lelouch tried to sound cool, while answering, "Pretty cool. Dad's as grumpy as ever, but things are still fun. What are you doing?"

C. C. answered, "I'm just hanging out."

Lelouch asked, "Are you at home?"

C. C. nervously said, "I'm at your house. I hope that's not weird. I can't explain why, but I wanted to visit your house, even though you aren't there."

Lelouch calmly replied, "It's totally cool, C. C. Stay there and have a nice time."

After Lelouch finished talking to C. C., Marianne walked by her son and said, "You and your girlfriend have become rather close, haven't you?"

Lelouch replied, "You could say that."

Marianne folded her arms and asked, "How come I haven't gotten to meet her?"

Lelouch said, "She has autism. She barely feels comfortable around her parents. Considering how unfriendly Dad is, C. C. would probably faint, if she had to see him."

Marianne replied, "Understandable, but Charles and I will have to see her, at some point. After all, she's probably going to be our future daughter."

Lelouch blushed with embarrassment and responded, "Mom, don't say such things!"

Marianne slyly smiled and said, "Well, am I wrong?"

Lelouch straightened his tie and said, "Who knows what the future might bring?"

The next day, C. C.'s friends were busy, so C. C. went back to Lelouch's house. She cooked some pizza and watched more 60s' Batman, while roaming around Lelouch's house. It was a warm day, so she wore a tank top and shorts, while lounging on the couch.

A few hours later, Lelouch returned home. C. C. was so spaced-out, that she didn't hear Lelouch coming in. Because of that, Lelouch wanted to surprise her. He got changed, before going to the living room and kissing C. C.'s cheek. C. C. was so used to the feeling of Lelouch's lips, that she knew who was kissing her. She turned around and kissed him. She said, "Lelouch, I'm so glad to see you."

Lelouch replied, "It's a delight to see you again, my love. How was your days, during my trip?"

C. C. answered, "It was nice. I had fun with my friends, but it didn't feel right, because you weren't there. I'm embarrassed to admit, but I missed you so much. You're the best part of my days and my day doesn't feel complete, without you visiting me and giving me a kiss."

C. C. eyed Lelouch's outfit and asked, "What are you wearing?"

Lelouch answered, "Same thing as you."

C. C. said, "No, you're wearing a speedo and a shirt that's ripped in half." Lelouch looked down and realized C. C. was right. He was so excited to see her again, that he wasn't being very careful, while picking out his outfit. He put on a t-shirt and a pair of running shorts, that he borrowed from Suzaku, a few months ago.

C. C. was so overjoyed to see Lelouch, that it took her a few moments to realize that Lelouch had only been gone for two days. She said, "You came a few days earlier, than I was expecting. I'm really glad about that, but I'm surprised."

Lelouch replied, "Like you, I had a nice time. It was good to see my parents, but it was hard for me, to not see you. I really missed you, my love. I left early, so I could see you again."

C. C. embraced Lelouch, while saying, "Thank you, Lelouch. You're the best gift, that my heart's ever gotten." C. C. tried to fight off her anxiety, while snuggling up to Lelouch and resting her head on his shoulders. Lelouch carefully brushed her hair, while gazing at her face. Lelouch and C. C. never stopped admiring one another, while watching TV and eating dinner.

When it started getting late, C. C. yawned and said, "I better get home."

Lelouch replied, "You're more than welcome, to spend the night. I can sleep on the couch, while you rest in my bed."

C. C. responded, "Like I've said before, I'd prefer to sleep on the couch. Besides, you probably want some space."

Lelouch said, "Space? No I don't. The choice is yours, but I'd be honored to have you stay."

C. C. took a long pause, before blushing and saying, "Okay, I'll sleep on the couch."

Lelouch gave her a hug and replied, "I'm glad to hear that."

C. C. responded, "However, I probably shouldn't stay here, on such a regular basis. After all, this is your home, not mine."

Lelouch pointed to C. C.'s key and said, "Remember that you have a key to my house, and you can always come here, so this is like your second home. Maybe we'll share a home, in the future. You know, I was planning on taking a week-long trip, but it ended up only being two days. The trip was like a vacation, and I couldn't think of a better vacation, than having you stay over, for the rest of the week."

C. C. felt shy, while asking, "You want me to stay at your house for another five days?"

Lelouch answered, "The choices is always yours, but yes, I'd love that."

C. C. smiled and replied, "Then I guess I'll stay."

Lelouch kissed her and responded, "You're the best. I love you so much." He took a pause, before saying, "You know what? You could stay here, forever."

C. C. replied, "Don't push your luck, Lelouch."

Lelouch nervously laughed and said, "I'm sorry. That was probably a dumb thing to say."

C. C. shook her head and replied, "Not at all. It was very sweet."

After Lelouch and C. C. got ready for bed, Lelouch tucked C. C. in. Lelouch said, "It feels good to be home."

C. C. replied, "I know how you feel. We have a wonderful home." She blushed with embarrassment and said, "We both have homes that are nice. Of course, we don't share the same home."

Lelouch responded, "Actually, my home isn't the same without you in it." He kissed her and went to bed. C. C. smiled and closed her eyes. She felt she had two homes and although she liked the home she owned, Lelouch's home was the one that she truly treasured.
