Fall for You

Molly looks in the mirror with a bright smile, wearing her purple sparkly dress. She thinks about Ollie and how this will be their first date after being friends for so long. It took a while, but she finally changed Ollie's mind about ghosts. He still has yet to talk to his family, but it's a good start.

Molly thinks about this. How Ollie could easily change his mind about ghosts if his family doesn't see the error in their ways. It's still a little risky for them to date, but now even Scratch is okay with it. All he wants is for Molly to be happy and, although he didn't like Ollie at first, he's starting to warm up to him.

Suddenly, Molly hears the doorbell and blushes. Then she looks in the mirror one last time and gives herself a pep talk.

"Okay, Ollie's here. Keep it cool…You've got this! Just be yourself and everything will work out. This is the happy ending you deserve. Just believe in yourself!" Molly said.

Molly stops talking to herself when she notices Scratch coming out of his ghost house with a grin.

"You seem excited, Mol. I mean, Ollie's nice and all but is he really the happy ending to your story?" Scratch asked.

Molly can see the hurt look Scratch is trying to hide. He is her best ghost friend. Plus, Scratch has been through a lot after having that flashback with Adia. Sadly, she can empathize with the crushing loneliness of losing friends.

Molly gives Scratch a hug.

"Don't worry, Scratch. Ollie and I may be together, but you're still my best friend. Like I said, I'm not going anywhere." Molly replied.

Scratch nods, trying his best to hold back tears. Molly's growing up so fast and he's so proud of the person she's become.

"Alright, well you have fun on your date, kiddo. Don't let me hold you back." Scratch said.

Molly waves goodbye to Scratch as she heads downstairs.

Molly sees Ollie waiting at the door in the same suit he wore to the dance but this time he has a purple flower to match Molly's dress. With stars in her eyes and red cheeks from blushing, she walks over to him and takes his hand.

Ollie's face is just as red from the nerves and his feelings for Molly, but he tries his best to stay calm and cool.

"Hi Molly! Are you ready for our date?" Ollie asked.

Molly looks away, then back at Ollie. Acting shy and flustered around him, just like when they first met. They've been friends for so long, now that they're trying to date again, the butterflies are coming back.

"Yes, I'm ready. This is going to be so much fun!" Molly replied.

Molly and Ollie walk out to the car together. They hop inside and Ollie's Mom, Esther, is driving them. They decided to go on a moonlit picnic just outside of Brighton. A beautiful spot where they can talk and relax under the stars.

Molly looks at the picnic basket and sees a little speaker set next to it. She smiles, knowing they're going to be dancing together again. It'll be perfect and this time, nothing's going to ruin their special night.

Once they arrive at the park outside of Brighton, Molly and Ollie hop out of the car and look for a good spot to set up their picnic. It's a bit chilly out, but that won't stop them from enjoying their first date.

Molly finds a spot under a tree and waves to Ollie. He quickly runs over to her as they set up the picnic blanket and organize the food and drinks. Ollie even adds a sunflower in a cute little vase as a centerpiece.

Molly can't help but feel overwhelmed with joy when she sees this, so she sits down and starts eating right away, talking about anything and everything to calm her nerves.

Ollie sits next to Molly and starts enjoying their dinner as well. Then he notices Molly starting to shiver and offers her his jacket.

Molly stops talking, snapping out of her own world as she was telling Ollie the story of how she moved to Brighton, her forever home, and focuses.

"Oh, thanks Ollie! It is kind of cold out here and jackets are made to keep people warm…So this is perfect!" Molly said.

Molly looks away a bit embarrassed. She was never this awkward around Ollie when they were friends.

Come on Molly, keep it together! Why is it so much harder for me to act like myself around Ollie when we're on a date or at a dance? It must be me. Maybe romance is just too complicated to figure out and…

Molly stops thinking when Ollie puts his jacket around her. Then he sits down next to her and puts his arm around her. Even though she's nervous about the date and blushing like crazy, she feels so safe with him. Trying to hold onto that feeling as she puts her head on his shoulder.

Molly and Ollie look up at the night sky together. It's dark blue and glowing with the stars. It truly is a sight to behold and they're happy they can share this special moment together.

"Wow, it's beautiful!" Molly said.

Molly looks away from the sky and at Ollie for a moment who's looking back at her, both with longing for each other. Then they snap out of it and once again feel a bit awkward. This is the first time either one of them has been in a relationship so it's all so new.

Ollie notices Molly's feeling anxious, so he decides to lighten the mood. He gets out his phone and speaker and sets it up on the grass. Then he plays the song they danced to at the school dance, I Keep Ending Up With You by Atomic Pink.

Molly starts to feel better when she hears the upbeat, fun song playing.

Ollie reaches out his hand to Molly, she takes it as he helps her up off the ground. They start dancing to their song, laughing and enjoying the music together.

Suddenly, the music changes to a slower song. Something more romantic that leaves them both staring at one another for a moment. Then Ollie puts his arms around Molly and they start slow dancing together.

All of Molly's nervousness, all of her fear and doubts disappear in an instant as the music plays and they dance. It's all too good to be true.

Molly then thinks about this and how it's all so different from the first time they were together.

This is such a special moment…I know I tend to rush into things without thinking them through, but this has to be true love! Just like I've seen in my favorite animated movies. It's all so perfect and the feelings are exactly what I thought it would be. I need to remember this moment.

Molly then takes out her phone and holds it up so they can take a picture. Ollie wraps his arm around her as they get ready. Big smiles on their faces and love in their hearts as she takes the picture.

Molly then looks at her phone with Ollie by her side to see how the picture turned out. She notices how cute they look together, but sees something suspicious in the background. Something ghostly.

Molly zooms in on the image and sees a glowing purple figure holding a blue weapon. Shocked, she turns around knowing exactly who it is.

Suddenly, Jinx appears with the same scythe weapon she used to almost destroy Molly.

Molly doesn't understand why she's here, but judging by her vengeful expression, it can't be good.

Ollie's about to defend Molly, but she steps in front of him, hoping this won't resort to fighting.

"Jinx, calm down. Maybe we can talk through what's going on. Are you okay?" Molly asked.

Jinx just stares at Molly confused, then laughs.

"Wow! I knew you were naive, but I thought you would at least try and fight me. Come on, Molly! Where's that dangerous chaotic energy you unleashed back in the ghost world? Destroying both the Flow of Failed Phantoms and our beloved Chairman. Give me a challenge!" Jinx replied.

Molly looks back at Ollie sadly. He looks hurt that she never told him about how she was a ghost and ended up destroying things, even though it was for the greater good.

Ollie puts on a brave face and grabs one of his ghost fighting gadgets from his pocket.

Molly's shocked. She thought Ollie changed.

"Why do you have that?" Molly asked.

Ollie looks sad for a moment, then goes in front of Molly and points the weapon at Jinx. He looks back at Molly for a moment.

"I'm sorry. My Dad makes me keep a spare weapon just in case and…Honestly, seeing how dangerous this ghost is, I'm glad I did. I know not all ghosts are bad, but there are some that just want to hurt people…And I'm not going to let this ghost hurt you." Ollie replied.

Jinx gets her scythe ready, a malicious grin on her face.

"Now that's more like it. The drama, the suspense…I love it! Now Let's fight!" Jinx said.

Jinx gets ready to swing her scythe while Ollie aims the gadget, ready to fire.

Seeing all of this happening so fast, Molly starts to feel overwhelmed.

I can't let Ollie get hurt, or worse, risk his life to save me. I have to do something! Maybe I do still have ghost powers and the only way to bring them out is to defend the person I love. My powers come from joy after all…

With tears in her eyes and a brave look on her face, Molly jumps in front of Ollie and tries to summon her ghost powers. She looks back at Ollie one last time and sees the terror on his face.

Suddenly, Molly feels a stinging pain across her chest as the scythe hits her. Fear overcomes her as she stands there frozen. Then everything goes black.
