"Molly no!" Ollie yelled.

Molly stands there frozen, feeling the burning pain of the open wound on her chest. She looks down and sees a vertical slash mark. It's glowing pink, it's terrifying and fascinating.

What happened…Why do I suddenly feel everything all at once? I…I'm scared. Is this what dying feels like? No. Something else is happening. I feel this surge of electric energy beaming inside of me. I don't know what's going on, but I kind of like it!

Molly feels that chaotic energy coursing through her. Almost like when she was in the Ghost World and used her ghost powers, but this is different. There's a darker side to these powers.

Suddenly, Molly's eyes start to glow bright pink as she floats off the ground. She's scared but also excited and can feel the tears streaming down her face. She can't imagine what Ollie's feeling seeing her like this.

Ollie looks up at Molly shocked and sad. He never wanted Molly to get hurt, but everything happened so fast. He was trying to save her, but she jumped in to save him at the last second and he can't help but feel guilty for all of this.

"Molly, if you can hear me, I'm so sorry! Please, just come back down and everything will be okay." Ollie said.

Jinx looks at Molly, curious and afraid, but does her best not to show it. She raises her scythe once again and prepares for a fight.

"That's more like it! Come on Molly, show me those ghost powers you've been hiding!" Jinx said.

Molly instantly looks down at Jinx, giving her a death stare. She feels like her mind is zoning out as her emotions overtake her. Fear seems to be the strongest, mixed with sadness and anger. Then joy overrides it all and that's what scares Molly the most while making her feel so alive, the pure chaotic energy.

The tears stop falling as Molly slowly floats towards Jinx. Her glowing bright eyes change into pink colored irises. The wound on her chest is still glowing but it's fading. The copper streak in her hair is bright pink and her sparkly purple dress is now black and purple. It's still Molly, but something's off.

Just as Molly's about to say something, Jinx swings her scythe out of fear and reflex.

Suddenly, a bright pink flash of lightning appears where Molly once was. Jinx puts the pieces together. She missed. Molly dodged her attack and got away with ease.

Jinx floats there in fear, wondering where the ghost girl went. She looks to Ollie who's pointing behind her with anger in his eyes.

Slowly turning around, Jinx sees Molly and she doesn't look like herself anymore. She has an evil smile across her face and hate in her now glowing and burning heart that's only growing stronger.

"Look, I didn't mean to try and kill you…I was just trying to hurt you to get to Scratch. It's nothing personal. Plus, now you have cool ghost powers! You should really be thanking me." Jinx said.

Molly laughs. A sinister laugh that sounds just like when she escaped the Flow of Failed Phantoms in the Ghost World.

Ollie stands there frozen, confused and afraid seeing this side of Molly.

Jinx, growing fearful, tries to stand her ground. Then she swings her scythe.

Molly stops it. Her hand holding the sharp edge while glowing pink, changing it into stardust.

"You know what happens next." Molly said.

Molly then taps Jinx on the nose and cheerfully says.

"Boop!" Molly said.

Suddenly, cracks start to form on Jinx as glowing purple lights shine from them. Then a ghost portal opens as she's blasted through it in a colorful display of flowers that slowly fall to the ground, the portal closing behind her.

Molly smiles, almost proud of what she's done yet still conflicted. She knows this isn't her, it's just her emotions taking control once again. Although she feels powerful, it also scares her.

Ollie doesn't know how to feel. He did betray Molly's trust by carrying a ghost hunting weapon and he feels horrible about that. But now that he's seen how dangerous some ghosts are, and how terrifying yet beautiful Molly is as a ghost, he's feeling conflicted as well.

Molly looks at Ollie still disappointed in him, but with her emotions in full control it's hard for her to see reason. Love and fear combined into one contradictory feeling that's making her spiral in her mind yet this other side of her seems to enjoy the chaos.

Molly starts to laugh, tears falling down her face once again. Not knowing whether to laugh or cry, the heartbreak feels so good for some reason.

Seeing Molly like this, Ollie can't help but feel sympathy and wants to help her.

Ollie hugs Molly. She freezes for a moment, not sure how to process this.

"It's okay, Molly. I'm here for you. No matter what." Ollie said.

Molly can hear it in Ollie's voice. He sounds so sad and hurt. Her empathy is in overdrive but it's still not enough to break her chaotic ghostly state. Though it is enough to calm her slightly so she can focus.

Once they stop hugging, Ollie looks into Molly's eyes. Hoping to see the real her behind the mask, her human half.

Molly smiles, a bit malicious but slowly finding herself again.

"You really care about me, don't you? Look, a lot has happened and I know you were just trying to protect me, but I can take care of myself." Molly said.

"I know you can. I can clearly see how powerful you are as a ghost, human, or both. So, how are you feeling?" Ollie asked.

Molly looks down at the slightly glowing scar on her chest. She's surprised it healed so fast. Jinx did mention she has ghost powers and she can feel the energy coursing through her.

"I'm feeling great actually! I have so much energy! It's like a sugar rush mixed with being enhappified over and over again! I love it!" Molly replied.

Ollie looks at Molly a bit concerned, but he's glad she's at least finding a bright side to all of the traumatic events that just happened. Classic Molly.

"Good, I'm glad you're not in pain, but I think we should go to Scratch and figure out what's happening. We probably don't want to mess around with this ghost stuff for too long. I just don't want you to get hurt." Ollie said.

Molly nods, trying to be serious, but the idea of going to Scratch with this makes her nervous. He'll be devastated to know that she got hit with a scythe and is technically only half alive.

"Yes, we should find out what's happening to me for sure. But why don't we have some fun with this chaos just for a little while? I'll be okay, I promise." Molly replied.

Molly then looks up at the night sky and glowing moon with wonder. Wanting more than anything to use her ghost powers to fly in the sky with Ollie, thinking it'll be so romantic. Then she looks at Ollie with puppy dog eyes while she points to the sky.

Ollie laughs a little, knowing he can't say no to that face.

"Alright, I give in. Now, what Molly scheme have I gotten myself into?" Ollie asked.

Molly laughs, then takes Ollie's hands in hers and starts floating as they both rise off the ground.

"No schemes, we're just going flying. Trust me, you'll love it!" Molly replied.

Molly uses her ghost powers to fly both her and Ollie into the night sky at sonic speed with a glowing pink aura around Molly as she flies.

Once they're up in the night sky, Molly slows down. She's holding onto Ollie's hands and decides to try something. Focusing on her inner powers, she uses telekinesis. A glowing blue light forms around Ollie and suddenly he's flying next to Molly while holding her hand.

"Woah, you can make me fly too? This is incredible!" Ollie said.

Molly smiles and blushes. Being up in the sky with Ollie, flying together as they watch the world pass them by. The small town of Brighton right below them and the sparkling stars all around them. The glowing full moon seemingly so close yet so far. It's all so magical.

Then the feelings come back. The intense fear Molly felt before Jinx hit her, the vengeful chaotic energy that she used to fight back, and the love and hurt she felt towards Ollie. It all comes back in flashes, and now that things have calmed down she's finally starting to process it all.

Ollie notices the distant look in Molly's eyes and speaks up.

"Hey, are you okay?" Ollie asked.

Hearing those words snaps Molly out of her sadness and back into her cheerful disposition.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just feeling a little tired." Molly replied.

Okay, that's not a total lie. I am getting tired, but it's a different kind of tired. I'm emotionally exhausted. Maybe I should tell Ollie…No! Keep it together. You're fine!

Suddenly, Molly feels the weight of her exhaustion come over her as the pink aura around her starts to fade. Ollie's blue aura fades as well, but he's less worried about himself and more concerned for Molly.

"Why don't we land? It looks like you need a break." Ollie said.

Molly nods and uses the energy she has left to float to the ground slowly. Once they land, the auras around them disappear and Molly's scar starts to flicker on and off like a light switch.

Taking deep breaths in and out, Molly tries to stay awake but her energy is quickly fading. Something's wrong.

Molly nearly falls to the ground, but Ollie catches her just in time. He then carries her as he starts running to the McGee's house, hoping he can get her to Scratch in time to save her.

"Everything's going to be okay. Just hang in there." Ollie said.

Molly lies against Ollie's chest, hearing his heartbeat. Feeling so safe with him and trying to hold on.

Molly's scar starts to glow again, a faded pink as she feels love in her heart. Ollie may have made some mistakes, but that doesn't change the fact that the feelings they have are real. It might just be what saves her.

Molly looks up at Ollie, tears in her eyes as she tries to hold back the pain she's feeling from her ghostly form trying to take over her completely. Still, she holds onto hope.

"Thank you…I know we'll get through this…together." Molly replied.
