"Jack, I swear, somewhere demons are laughing everytime I have to do this damn paperwork." Xander Harris, officially known to the government as the leader of a civilian militia, that was unofficially known as the Scooby Gang, complained to Major General Jack O'Neill, Head of Homeworld Security. "Why the Hell does the government need to know how many vampires we dusted this week? Or how many different kinds of demons we dealt with? Can't they just be happy that they're not feeding on humans?"

"I hear ya, kid. I'm half convinced there's an office filled with demons that generate paperwork, in the hopes of driving us all insane. I've been trying to avoid it for years. It gets worse the farther up the chain you get. But blame your counterpart. He's the one who revealed Classified information to you."

"It was relevant to us. You know that. Besides, now the government has more Ancient gene guinea pigs. Should make them happy. If anything can make the government happy, I mean."

"That's why I called, actually. McKay's been fussing since he found out that we located a very strong gene holder family. He's been requesting your assistance in Atlantis for awhile now. The President finally agreed. If you're willing, you and Cordelia can go and since it's summer and Jesse's out of school, he can go with. Pegasus is alot safer since the Wraith are virtually gone now and those extra ZPM's my counterpart directed us to helped a lot."

"My counterpart helped find them. He had to fight velociraptors to get them. Anyway, I'm up for it. But I need to talk to Cordelia. It means us both taking time off from work. They know we consult for the government, but pervious trips have only been for a few days. If you're talking about the whole summer, that means nearly three months. We'll talk about it and let you know. Jesse would probably have a ball."

"It would have the added bonus of driving McKay insane. Your kid is as much a trouble magnet as you, or me or Sheppard. That alone would be worth sending you guys there."

After much discussion between Xander and Cordelia, as well as the Gang, it was decided that they would take the time off work and visit Atlantis. Willow and Johnathan would do the paperwork, since Giles had enough to do with the reports to the Council and what the Magic Box generated on it's own. Faith, catagorically refused to do any paperwork. "I kill demons, I'm not an office drone. Keep that shit away from me."

After a slightly teary goodbye, the Harris-Chases set out for Atlantis, with the hope that would it be a nice, perhaps relaxing time. In the end though, they'd need a vacation from their vacation.

"Rodney. I have good news for you." Elizabeth Weir, Head of the Atlantis Expedition, said to Rodney McKay, the Head Scientist of said expedition, as AG 1 (Atlantis Gateteam 1), returned from a scouting mission .

"What is it?"

"The President has OKed your request for that natural gene holder family to come to Atlantis. They'll arrive in three days."

"Well, it's about damn time. I've been putting in that request for nearly two years. From what I hear, they're all stronger than even Sheppard here."

"Who are they?" Colonel Sheppard asked, curious.

"Alexander Harris-Chase, age 33. His wife, Cordelia Harris-Chase, also 33 and their son, Jesse Harris-Chase, age ten. They're apart of a civilian militia that's associated with a sister Command of the SGC. We're not cleared to know anything about this other command, but they did tell me somethings about the Harris-Chases. Two years ago, the boy, discovered a Quantum Mirror. He accidentally traveled through and ended up in another SGC. His parents in that reality were associated with this sister Command there as well. They were able to get him back here safely. Jack O'Neill of that reality came thru personally to contact Stargate Command in this reality to notify them of the Quantum Mirror. The Harris-Chases have some abilities. Again, we're not cleared to know everything, but what they did tell me, is that both parents have measurable psychic abilities. They both, as well as their son, also have heightened senses. They can hear and see well above average. Mr. Harris-Chase is also significantly stronger than a normal human. He was on the swim team in high school. Their coach experimented on the team without them knowing about it. He was the only survivor. The others were severely mutated and didn't survive, according to what I've been told."

"What happened to the coach?" Colonel Sheppard asked, shocked.

"Disappeared, along with an accomplice, the school nurse. They haven't been seen since and no one is sure what they were trying to accomplish."

"That's sick."

"I agree. It reminds me of when I learned my ancestor had been experimented on by the Wraith." Teyla Emmagan, an Athosian resident of the Pegasus Galaxy and member of AR 1 said. "If his wife also shares some of these abilities does that mean he was able to transfer them to her?"

"I don't know, her abilities may be separate. Like I said, we're not cleared to know a whole lot. Perhaps Carson will be given more information. In the meantime, John, could you arrange to have quarters prepared for them?"

"I'll take care of it today."

"Thank you. That's all for now." She said, dismissing them to go about their duties. Rodney returned to his lab and began, with Zalenka's help, to ready some of the devices he wanted the Harris-Chases to help with.

Colonel Sheppard gave orders that one of the nicer two bedroom apartments they'd found be cleaned out and readied for them.

Teyla went to her quarters and spent the rest of the day with her husband Kanaan and their seven year old son Toran, telling them of the soon to be arriving family and her hope that Toran would find a friend in Jesse Harris-Chase.

Ronan, who as usual, hadn't said anything during the meeting, went to the gym to workout, wondering if this Alexander, would be up to sparring. Not since Teal'C had last visited had he had anyone of measurable strength to spar with. He was looking forward to the visit.
