"Are you ever afraid that you'll lose the blonde one?" Damien Spinelli asked Johnny Zacchara as they grabbed a drink at Jakes after Johnny's shift.
"No. Not at all but, I can also fight. I have complete faith and trust in that woman, Lu is... everything to me." Johnny says without hesitation.
"I just wish sometimes that maximista showed the love Lulu shows you, I guess that's my problem. I feel like she will fall for another man." Spinelli didn't often open up but, he was comfortable with Johnny. They were friends.
"I think that Maxie has a hard time showing affection to you because she wants you two to last. I'm not saying it's right but, just talk to her about how you are feeling. Speaking of, we should probably start heading back to the apartment." Ever since Johnny had walked away from his family he'd moved in with Lulu and Maxie, it was going great. Today was his first day at Jake's and he didn't exactly hate it.
"Maybe I should." Spinelli agrees, knowing Johnny was aching to get home to Lulu. The two left after leaving some money for Coleman, they went up to the apartment and walked inside.
Lulu and Maxie had both been sorting their laundry while waiting for their boyfriends, talking amongst themselves.
"Whose underwear is this?" Lulu lifted up a pair of lacy black thongs, showing it to Maxie.
"I don't know..." Maxie trails off, knowing a lot of Lulu and Maxie's underwear looked the same. At that moment Johnny and Spinelli walked into the apartment, Lulu aimed the underwear at Johnny who caught them in his hand.
"It's never a bad day when you throw your underwear in my face." Johnny smirked, appreciatively catching them with one hand.
"Have you seen those panties before?" Lulu smirked.
"Many times." Johnny threw them back at her and she folded them.
"Maybe you'll get to see them again tonight." Lulu batted her eyelashes at her boyfriend, wanting him to bend her over and fuck her right now.
"If I'm lucky." Johnny shrugged, walking over to her and kissing her lips.
"Ugh, you two make me sick." Maxie made a face at the displays of affection the two had going on.
"What's wrong? There's nothing dirty about showing my boyfriend I love him. Maybe you should try it sometime." Lulu was definitely calling Maxie out.
"Careful." Johnny whispers in her ear.
'what are you trying to say?* Maxie arched one brow.
"The blonde one is wondering why you don't show me the affection Lulu gives Johnny. I'm wondering the same thing...do I not deserve that?" Spinelli was truly hurt by this, he just hadn't had the courage before today.
"Spinelli, we don't all have to be lovey dovey! Lulu and Johnny truly are sickening, why would I want that? You know how I feel about you." Maxie didn't see the issue.
"Ouch." Lulu frowned.
"Don't take it to heart, Lu." Johnny wraps his arms around her from behind pulling her closer, Lulu leans back and kisses his cheek.
"At least Johnny knows how the blonde one feels about him! Do I?" Spinelli was getting frustrated with Maxie.
"We're going to give you guys some space." Johnny cleared his throat grabbing Lulu's hand, they went to their bedroom.
"Why is Maxie like this? I feel so bad for poor Spinelli." Lulu looked at her boyfriend, as he shut the door.
"I know what it's like having trouble showing your feelings but, eventually I learned to get over that. When your with the person you're meant to be with there's nothing you won't do to show them how you feel, nothing you wouldn't do for them. I learned that from loving you and everything we went through with Shadybrooke and Pentonville, now I know that we can face anything. Together. Maybe Maxie and Spinelli aren't meant to be together forever, I don't want that to be the case but they haven't been okay in awhile. Ever since you got checked into Shadybrooke actually, I just don't see this ending well for them I've gotta be honest." Johnny hadn't wanted to say this to Spinelli when they were at Jake's earlier but something felt off with Maxie.
"Do you really think you'll want to be with me for the rest of your life? That's a lot of Lulu, are you sure you're up for that? I think you might be right I just worry about Spinelli because he takes everything to heart. I just wish Maxie could see how this is tearing up his heart, I know what it's like to love somebody and not get anything in return. What happened with them while I was in Shadybrooke? Maxie didn't mention anything. I don't want to come across as being insecure but, what if she's doing this because she still wants you?" Lulu had been observing Maxie around Johnny lately and she didn't like the behavior she'd seen. Johnny guided her over to sit on the bed, laying next to her.
"Of course I do, I'll never be able to get enough of Lulu Spencer. We've been through hell but we've always got each other, that's all I've ever wanted. With you I have a home, I have a future I'm not just sitting locked in a creepy old house contemplating my existence. I can tell Spinelli is hurting and I'm trying to understand what Maxie is doing but, I can't wrap my head around it. You know Spinelli would give her whatever she wants because he worships the ground she walks on, lately it's like she doesn't seem to care. I don't exactly know what happened because I was in Pentonville a majority of the time but, I noticed her pulling away from Spinelli it was gradual but I still noticed it. I don't want to think this way but, do you think she's cheating on him? You're not being insecure I've noticed it too but, you're the only woman that's getting me. I'd never run out on you like that, the thing is I thought you and Maxie were getting to a good place. If she is hitting on me, that's not what friends do." Johnny pulls her into his body wrapping his arms around her.
"I'm very happy you're not contemplating your existence because I love you and I'm very happy you're alive. How did I get so lucky to be able to call you my boyfriend? I feel the same way, no matter where I went nowhere ever felt like home...until the night we met. The way she's acting she is either trying to get in your pants or she's already in somebody else's pants and is trying to hide it. I did too, maybe Maxie's just like that. I don't know." Lulu glanced up at her boyfriend in uncertainty to which Johnny answers her with a sweet kiss to her lips. Whatever was going they'd get through it like they got through everything. Together.
