A/n: this book is about my oc Bridget Falconeri, daughter of Dante and Lulu. In this version Charlotte and Rocco don't exist, Bridget is their only child. I'm also writing off that Lulu's infertile, they might have another kid who knows? I'll keep that a surprise. I will be posting a book with all my original characters but, I'm not finished yet. Happy reading! Oh, and Bridget is played by Sydney Sweeny./
Bridget's POV
I looked out of my window that morning, knowing I had a whole new start waiting for me. My mom and I had packed up my room last night and taken most of my things to my dorm room at Columbia, I wouldn't be far away from my family. The sun streamed through my window as if it were welcoming the new chapter of my life, I heard somebody's footsteps coming upstairs, so I turned on my side to see who it was.
"I was thinking we could get some breakfast." Lulu Falconeri smiled at her daughter, standing in the doorway.
"Mom, if you eat before noon you'll get sick." I pointed out jumping off of my bed, walking towards her.
"I know but, you'll be gone by noon. I know you'll want to settle in with Harper, I'm just going to miss you. That's all." Lulu softly smiled, she would miss her daughter more than she liked to admit.
"Please don't make me cry at nine in the morning, mom." I held back my tears, my mom really was one of my best friends. Harper Spinelli was the daughter of my godmother Maxie Jones and Damien Spinelli, who were my mom's best friends.
"Where's Dad? Did he get called into work?" I asked, knowing he was a busy man.
"Do you really think I'd miss this?" I heard my dad's voice call up the steps, earning a laugh from mom and myself.
"I'll let you get dressed, we'll be downstairs." Mom nodded at me, before descending the staircase and no doubt joining my father.
Lulu's POV
I walked down the staircase and towards the kitchen where my husband was cracking eggs into a bowel, and frying bacon in a skillet.
"Iced coffee for you, my lady." Dante handed her a cup of iced coffee.
"Awe, this is way better than Starbucks. Thank you, baby." I smirked taking a big sip, Dante had done this for me every day since we'd moved in together. I truly had the best husband in the world.
"I don't know why you're still surprised." Dante chuckled, pecking her on the lips.
"You're perfect." Lulu shrugged, as if that explains it all.
"I think we both know I'm fat from it, you're my angel. I'll do whatever I can to keep that beautiful smile on your face. The fact that you've been with me for sixteen years, makes me feel like the luckiest man in the world. How's our princess doing?" Dante did feel insanely lucky to have Lulu but his side.
"Your imperfections are what makes you perfect, obviously you're the only man who can handle my crazy ass. It's been sixteen long years, stubborn ass. I'm kidding, if anyone's stubborn it's me. Bridget is getting dressed, we were both about to cry but... it's a happy day. Why do I feel like we're dropping her off to daycare again? I should be happy- I am happy. I just feel like she's not going to need me anymore. I've spent these past eighteen years taking care of her, I don't know what to do with myself." Lulu sighed, she'd been keeping her thoughts on lockdown but she wondered if Dante felt the same way.
"Obviously I am the only one. Haha, you're funny. I understand baby but, our daughter will always need us. It is a happy day but, it's also sad. Bridget is starting a new chapter in her life, she's not going to need us as much. I understand but, maybe it's time for us." Dante sighed, brushing her blonde hair back from her face his hands settling on her hips.
"Okay." Lulu smiles, wrapping her arms around him leaning into him as their lips connected.
"Ewwwww." Bridget mocked them, coming into the kitchen.
"Get a room, geez. People live here." Bridget made a face but, she did aspire to have someone look at her the way her father looked at her mother.
"Every room in this house is ours, so technically..." Dante shrugged, earning a giggle from Lulu.
"Shush, we can have mind-blowing sex when she leaves." Lulu smirked.
"STOPPPPPPPPP." Bridget groaned.
"Is what your mother has never said." Dante slightly chuckled, Lulu playfully slapping his shoulder.
"Can we PLEASE talk about anything else?" Bridget was grossed out.
"When is Harper picking you up?" Lulu asked, tangling herself away from Dante.
"About one thirty, she wanted to say goodbye to Jake. Gag." Bridget fought the urge to roll her eyes. Harper and her cousin Jake had been dating since the eighth grade, the pair were practically inseparable. Being single really irritated Bridget but, the guys she attracted just weren't doing her any favors!
"Those two are practically married! Where is Jake going again?" Lulu chuckled, squeezing Dante's hand.
"It's disgusting, mom. Jake's going to Princeton. I am going to have to hear all the lovesick crap, because I'm rooming with Harper." Bridget made a face.
"Now you know how I felt rooming with Maxie." Lulu giggled, even though Maxie was her best friend Lulu knew she was high maintenance.
"Maybe you'll meet someone at college, you never know." Lulu shrugged.
"Who's hungry?" Dante didn't like the thought of his baby girl dating but, he knew it was inevitable. Dante put the bacon on a plate, scooping the eggs into two plates, and put a biscuit on each plate. Lulu handed a plate to her daughter, while Dante took the other plate.
"Are you sure you don't want anything to eat?" Dante asked as he sat down.
'Dante this hasn't changed in fifteen plus years." Lulu gave her husband a look, sitting on his lap.
Bridget's POV
I glanced at my parents as I scooped a forkful of eggs into my mouth, if my dad knew how to do anything it was cook. The eggs were as fluffy as a cloud. The way dad's arm tightened around mom's waist as he ate and asked her if he wanted anything...it was sweet.
"I wish I had someone like that." I thought to myself, I'd never had any type of boyfriend to speak of.
"Fine...I'll take a bite." Lulu groaned, as Dante handed her a strip of bacon. Lulu chews on it thoughtfully, before swallowing it.
"I don't understand why you get sick of you eat before noon, it doesn't make sense to me." Dante chuckled, kissing her.
"I don't either, it's always been like this." She says, before kissing him back.
"Coming up for air anytime soon?" Bridget arches an eyebrow.
"Do you want to do anything? It is your last day before you start college." Lulu turns to look at her daughter.
"Maybe we could go swimming and get ice cream?" She suggested.
"Alright, I gotta figure out which bathing suit I'm gonna wear!" Lulu had been waiting all summer to go swimming but, she'd been busy. Lulu walked into the bedroom, searching through her clothes.
'Your mom has been wanting to go swimming." Dante looks knowingly at his daughter.
"I know. I don't particularly care what we do but, mom put her life on hold to do the things I wanted to do. I think that she should get to live her life, she's always doing things for everyone else.' Bridget loved both of her parents, she would put her wants above theirs if given the choice.
"She has but, that's what parents do. Your mom loves you, I love you." Dante goes to get dressed.
I went upstairs to get dressed, while I was upstairs my phone buzzed with an incoming call.
"Hello?" I answered without checking to see who was calling.
"Hey Bee, it's Danny." It was Daniel Morgan, Sam and Jason Morgan's son. Lulu and Danny were close, probably closer than Dante and Jason wanted them to be.
"Hey Danny! What's up?" She smiled, changing into her bathing suit.
"Harper told me you were rooming with her, I didn't know you were going to Columbia. I guess I'll be seeing you there." Danny sheepishly smiled.
"I thought you were going to Princeton!" Bridget gasped.
"I thought I'd stick close by, I got accepted to Columbia before Princeton. It'll be good to see familiar faces. You know?" Danny shrugged, trying not to make a big deal about it.
"I'm so glad you'll be there! Did Harper tell you we're rooming together?" Bridget was excited about college.
"She mentioned that, yeah. When are you heading up there?" Danny asked.
"Harper is picking me up at one thirty." Bridget didn't have a car because her's was in the shop.
"Me too, I'll see you up there. What are you doing today?" Danny knew that his parents would be focusing on Emily his baby sister, but Lulu and Dante didn't have any other children. Danny worried about them.
"I'm going swimming with mom and dad, I know their going to take this hard." Bridget frowned.
"They love you, of course they are. I'll see you soon, have fun." Danny hung up the phone so he could finish packing. After going to the pool and getting ice cream, it was time to travel up to Columbia. Harper picked her up, she gave both of her parents hugs before getting into the car and starting her adventure as an adult woman...
