Johnny Zacchara's jaw dropped, he could hardly look at his sister. Maybe Claudia hadn't meant to do it, but she did. Johnny and Claudia glanced as the door to Lulu and Maxie's apartment opened, it was Lulu coming home from work.
"You need to leave." Johnny hardly knew his voice, as he looked at the chair across the room avoiding Lulu and Claudia.
"Johnny? What's going on?" Lulu's sweet voice made him want to cry. What if Lulu realized she could do better than him? He couldn't handle that. In the same token he couldn't keep this secret from her, he might as well tell her before she found out somewhere else.
"John, has Lulu really turned you against me? Come on." Claudia pleaded with him but, only earned a bitter chuckle from Johnny.
"You turned me against you. I'm not just done with Anthony and Trevor, I'm done with you too. I'm sure either Lansing or Corinthos can lick your wounds. Whatever happens is on you to solve, you dug a hole for yourself Claudia." Johnny truly didn't want a thing to do with his sister anymore.
"I see how it is." Claudia scoffed, pushing past Lulu and walking out of the apartment.
"What did I just walk in on?" Lulu was shocked, Johnny was done with his sister? What did Claudia do now?
"You might want to sit down for this...both of you." Johnny sighed anxiety filling his veins as Lulu and Maxie sat on the couch.
"I know who shot Michael...it was Claudia. Claudia meant to shoot Corinthos but, Michael got in the way. I promise I just found out." Johnny sighed, waiting for the fallout.
"That's why you said you were done with her...it all makes sense now. Thank you for being honest with me, I know this is hard on you." Of course Lulu was shocked but, she knew that it took a lot for Johnny to turn his back on his family.
"I can't believe it but, it does make sense." Maxie slowly nodded.
"I can't be part of this anymore, I've had enough. It's just too much. If Claudia dies, that's on her. Claudia knew what she was doing." Johnny fell back against the cushions beside Lulu.
"You look exhausted but, I understand. You've been through a lot, you deserve a place to rest your head." Lulu stroked his hair, frowning.
"I am." Johnny closed his eyes, leaning into her touch.
~ Sonny's POV~
"Claudia acted alone, Johnny didn't have anything to do it. Spinelli was able to pull the footage. What do you want me to do?" Jason Morgan had just finished telling Sonny about who had shot Michael.
"That bitch is dead...you don't fuck with my kids. I will be dealing with this personally, all I need from you is to take care of the body when everything is done." Sonny slightly growled out his words, all he could see was red.
"You got it." Jason nodded, leaving Sonny to his business. Sonny called for Max and Milo, they walked into his study.
"I need you to take Claudia to the abandoned warehouse where my son was shot. The sooner the better.' Sonny smirked, and they both headed out to do as their boss instructed.
Claudia's POV
"Who does John think he is? That tramp has my little brother wrapped around his finger." I muttered to myself, right as somebody put their black gloved hand over my mouth and darkness took over my vision.
Johnny's POV
"I might go up to Jake's and see if Coleman needs anyone." I sighed standing up from the couch, I was serious about disowning my family.
"Are you sure? I would never ask you to walk away from your family." Lulu knew that this would be hard for Johnny.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Don't worry, I'll be back. I love you." Johnny pecked her on the lips before leaving. Johnny headed over to Jake's immediately spotting Coleman behind the bar.
"Hey Coleman." Johnny nods at him, taking a seat at the bar.
"If it isn't Lesley Lu's knight in shining armor. What can I get you?" Colman smirked, Johnny and Lulu were honestly one of Coleman's favorite couples.
"I was wondering if you needed any help around here...I'm looking for a job." Johnny wasn't good at this but, he felt comfortable enough to ask the bartender.
"I'm always looking for help, Jake's has been CRAZY busy lately I can barely keep up. You can start tomorrow at 5." Coleman knew that the man couldn't catch a break, he wanted to help.
"Thank you Coleman, I really appreciate this."
Lulu's POV
"I'm really proud of him, Johnny's finally living for himself." I smiled, I had always been proud of my boyfriend but this was a whole new level.
"Well, Johnny better give me a discount on tequila shots." Maxie quipped but, she saw how much Johnny was trying to do right by Lulu and himself.
"I hate that Claudia put him in that position, he's disowned his entire family. I just hope he'll be okay." Lulu frowned.
"I think he will be, Johnny's strong. You are too, you guys can lean on each other when life gets tough. Don't hate me but, I'm going to break things off with Spinelli." Maxie knew that Lulu would feel some type of way about it.
"You're right but, if you feel like things aren't going to work it's the right move. As long as it's not for Johnny, because that's my man and I will hurt you. Maxie, you are my best friend and I'll support you through anything. You supported me when I was in the psych ward and we're sharing this apartment together, I'm not going to hate you because things aren't working out with Spinelli." Lulu's friendship towards Maxie had come out of the blue, but she wouldn't ever want to call anyone else her best friend.
"If you make me cry, I'm punching you in the face." Maxie warned her.
"It wouldn't be the first time."
