This story just something that come out of my mind, nothing too serious, just bored or just daydreaming too much. It's slice of life (i think) or not. I may keep up if i want too, not expecting any much traffic. But critics always welcomed. This also an attempt to learn some english for me so.. that's it. I warned you.
Chapter 1 : Fallen
A flickering colour of images stay still on that screen, showing a news report that aired just now. "oh come on!" Yell him with annoyed looks, it is the only source of entertainment for him. That's the third time in ten minutes, he knows it's getting worse but not much he can do about it. With sigh he slam his hand on top of it. The flickering images now gone, turned into black screen instead of clear video that he wanted. A punch almost comes to that tv but he stopped himself right before his fist hits.
Without much thought he grab a screwdriver and start opening that rusty old tv. A dozen of papers plastered on the wall, giving him the instruction to fix that tv again. "please, you're my only friend, don't die on me" Beg him as he trying to fix that tv. It's a miracle for him to found that tv on dumpster on a so-so condition, but that was weeks ago and he start to understand why it's there after fixing it multiple times. There is little complains when he focus on fixing and after one hour he figured out the problem, then fixing that old tv for a while.
Humans technology is alien for him, but he start to understand it by himself. No one is there for him or rather he's the one who secluded himself from any humans or digimon. It started after the attack from d-reaper, the event of d-reaper brings a strong connection for humans and digimons. In that battle to fight d-reaper, he was one of some digimons that fight directly to it, but unlike others that fought till the last stand, he fall in the middle of fight. A disgraceful moment for him.
Any digimons that got through or choose to go into human world got a companion, mostly. He even got two before, until d-reaper attack got the both. Instead of join others who take a part of that battle, he only look at them from afar then leave. It's not just about d-reaper, he kill one of those heroes before. Trying to amend his sin, he tried to save a human girl, that girl got a digimon partner and that partner of her was killed by him. Trying to save her is not a way to ask for forgiveness and he should've known better, she reject his help and that's the last time he see her. He never want to leave the battle but he just a weak one compared to others, something that he always deny.
The battle is won in the end, but he knows never won. He always remind himself that he weak and his help never needed to begin with, always screaming to himself that his attempt was excuse to befriend them, yet deep down he want it to be true, just to talk with them again.
Now he lives at a place called sewer, he use a makeshift bed from thrown pillow he found at garbage with a little structure of planks he build for the base. Eating any leftover from garbage or find fruits from nearby tree is enough for him, or his last resort by stealing some food from humans.
Despite he forcing this belief to himself, he actually knows that he wasn't that weak. Moreover he got a hunger for power more than any of them. A mega form is still there for him and that form can muster scary power, but he choose not to reveal himself. Calling his missing a honorable death is out of his mind, it's clear from the get go. He's a menace for them and he better know his place after they saved him from time to time.
His body is still dirty and weak though, those injury he got from battles still not healed yet, mostly due to his living condition and he just stop bothered too much about it. In the night he always thought what if he choose something different? He should have choose something different? Would it matter if he choose the other? But that only stop as his thought, never realized. With the tv turned on again, his mind focus on the news he see, then his weak body slowly give in to time and force him to rest on that wretched place.
