#143 - [Plot Point] Running away from home

Toni frowned as she leaned against the wooden post. "Never thought that you would be the one to run away."

"I'm not running away." Cheryl wrapped her arms across her chest.

"And what do you call sitting at the bus station waiting for the midnight bus?" Toni growled out. "If you are going to do this for attention Cheryl ... then you should have taken your limo."

Cheryl lifted her head. "I'm not doing this for attention."

"Could have fooled me." Toni's right eye brow rose high on her forehead. She pushed off the post. Walking over to where the red headed teen was sitting on the bench. Sighing deeply as she sat down next to the other girl. Close. She felt Cheryl tense up next to her. She refused to move. She wouldn't reach out to touch her ... she wouldn't do that to Cheryl ... but she refused to move away from the broken girl next to her. "Why are you leaving?" She asked instead.

"Nothing is keeping me here." Cheryl got out.

"That's not true." Toni replied in a low voice. "Cheryl ..."

Cheryl's right hand rose to wipe the tear from her cheek. "Don't Toni. Don't tell me any lies." Her hand shook against her skin.
