Hey guys! I apologize for the really long wait; I started school last week and started my new job. But I promise to always put you guys first! I love to write stories and receive all your feedback, love you guys :). Ok, so this chapter is short because this is a leeway chapter, this is connecting the previous chapter to the next chapter I'm gonna write. Anyhow, thank you so much to everyone who is currently supporting my stories *hands out cookies*. Please R&R!

My name is being called
Everything hurts
"Mikey…. Please wake up!"
He tried to open his eyes but to no anvil did it work. His eyes were screwed shut, plus his head hurt to much to even attempt to leave his heavenly paradise.
"MIKEY!"
Nope. It would take a miracle for him to open his baby blue eyes, or at least that's what his family calls them. Even if all he could see was darkness. Black darkness.
"Call his brothers now! Mikey…buddy, please respond to me!"
Mikey felt his friend brush his arm, but his eyes still remained shut. Wait…somebody is calling his brothers? Ok…. time to get up. He grunted as he tried to regain consciousness, but it still wasn't working. Time was running out.
"Oliver, Leo went to voicemail. What should I say?"
It was then that Mikey's eyes shot open, he gasped for precious air that wasn't present. Olivers football buddy hung up the phone call without leaving a message. He put his phone in his pocket and knelled down next to Mikey.
"Are you ok Mikey? Name's Charlie," Charlie said as he gestured to Oliver to take over. Oliver's eyes were glassy and unfocused, tears streamed down his face.
"Mikey," He croaked, still obviously in shock. Taking no time to regain his awareness, he helped Mikey sit up, worry coursed through his veins.
Mikey groaned, "So I'm assuming you saw everything?"
"Yes, what caused you to faint?" Charlie asked. He felt curious and worried at the same time, if his best buds friend was in danger, he would assist where he could.
Oliver looked intently at his best friend, "Mikey, you just fainted, I have to tell your brothers."
Mikey's eyes bulged out of his head as he tried to process the information previously given to him. His brothers couldn't know, this was his fight and his fight alone.
"Wait Oliver," he grabbed his friends arm weakly, "I've got it all handled, I'll tell my brothers once I get home." He gave the puppy eyes on top. Oliver only looked at him as he hesitated, his expression was unreadable.
"I don't know Mikey, what if it's serious?" he questioned.
Mikey sighed, "Oliver I'm managing my health, not you. I'm not a baby."
"I'm just worried!"
"Well stop worrying! Mikey snapped, his whole world spun as he groaned, "Sorry Oliver, I'm just going to head home." He got up on unsteady feet and walked away with the familiar feeling of dread.
Lately, snapping at people had sadly become a common thing, even his brothers noticed. Their worried glances and improvised movie nights showed just how weak Mikey was. Not that he would admit that. But in theory, how he hadn't collapsed in front of his brothers was a miracle on its own. If his brothers saw…Mikey shuddered at the thought. His brothers would freak, and that was a huge understatement.
They would drag him to the nearest hospital, and then he would have to endure hours of needles rudely being stuck in him…he couldn't have that. That wasn't even the worst part, Mikey didn't know how long he could go without his brothers noticing the dire situation.
It was getting harder to breathe every passing day, not to mention the black dots always implanting themselves in the young teens eyes. He had at least passed out four times in the past week alone, now it was five.
Mikey weakly walked back to his house; each step felt like pure agony. Sweat glistened on his forehead as his knees almost buckled with every step. The sun shined brightly right above him, it's deadly rays snapping his energy away in almost an instant. Cars passed him leaving a small breeze of wind, in which Mikey wished he could indulge himself in.
If only he had a car, an air-conditioned car…. that sounded like pure heaven at that moment. Anything sounded like heaven if it meant taking away all the heat on the earth. Snow, that was a nice thought. Popsicles, water, winter, why couldn't it be winter?
"Home," Mikey mumbled as sweat dripped down to his brow. His head pounded, his feet hurt, everything hurt. He guessed that was from the heat, and not that he hadn't eaten anything in over five days. Not even a orange slice. He had concluded that orange slice was only making him fatter.
Fat
Oh, how Mikey hated that word. That single word was the thing causing him to feel like death at the moment. But it was worth it, he would become skinny once more.
It took him an extra twenty minutes to get home, but once he stepped inside, he let out a sigh of relief. It was also then that the delightful smell of chicken reached his nostrils. He gagged and ran upstairs, food these days hadn't smelled good, his stomach rejected it.
He quickly dashed into bed and covered himself, exhaustion took over him in an instant. He sighed and fell into a dreamless slumber, not even stirring when he felt one of his brothers stroke his forehead and grimace.
"Leo, we have a problem," Donnie whispered.

I hope this was long enough, I promise that the next chapter will be longer. The next chapter is going to start a chain of events, so be prepared for that :). Thank you so much for reading this! Please R&R!
