Aphrodite had one of his long, nicely shaped legs crossed over the other while he was seated on the farther stools, his light blue eyes shifting between the words of the romance novel he was reading and his son taking care of his tasks.

Today, on a Saturday afternoon, the beautiful father decided to visit his son's workplace, patiently waiting for his little boy to finish his shift.

So far, the Pisces Saint held a good impression towards the relaxing workplace of LeBlanc Café. It was quiet and mostly barren of any customers, though not in the sense that it felt uncomfortable.

He and Cereza would have to spend some quality time here in the near future. She would find herself pleased by the serenity of the Café.

"Found the coffee to your liking dad?" His son asked with a small, hopeful smile.

"It is beyond exquisite, Ren. It isn't easy to make coffee taste this good in the span of a few months."

Ren's expression beamed at the high praise of his father.

He tucked back a few strands of his hair behind his ear as a light red tint adorned his cheeks. His already bright smile brightened. "I'm glad you like it dad."

The heartwarming exchange of the father and son ended when the young man went back to tend to his tasks.

The calming, silent atmosphere returned, relaxing the body and soul of Aphrodite as he returned to his novel… until the obnoxious sound of ringing bells ruined it completely.

A deep, irritated breath was released from the Pisces Saint. Some idiot just had to go ahead and destroy the blissful tranquility of his little boy's workplace.

"Yo, Ren! How ya doin' man!?"

Oh, and he was a loudmouth as well-

("Wait a minute, he knows my son?")

Curious to see the appearance of this supposed familiar, Aphrodite's luscious, long mane of hair flowed smoothly as he turned to get a look at his son's visitor.

A young man, seemingly around Ren's age, strode in with both of his hands in his pockets, approaching Ren with a hunched form.

But his confident swagger wasn't as striking as his hair, which was messy, spiky, and colored in a bright blonde.

("Well, he sure does strike me as the responsible type.") The beautiful father sarcastically mused in his head with a smirk donning his lips.

"Uh, hey Ryuji. I'm a little bit busy now, as you can see." Ren sent a semi awkward greeting to his friend that has decided to drop by unannounced.

"Eh, no biggie. I'll just wait here until your done!"

A raised brow was Ren's reaction to an unusual action Ryuji just performed.

"You're not gonna order anything?"

Ryuji letting out a nervous chuckle, alongside his right arm scratching the back of his head, told Ren everything he needed to know.

The leader of the Phantom Thieves let out a long sigh as he felt a strong sense of disappointment surging through him.

"Ryuji… don't tell me that you wasted all of your money to try and get your favorite body pillow from the online auction I told you to NOT get involved with?"

The rambunctious blonde refused to make eye contact with the judgemental, grey eyes of his leader.

The son of a bitch just had to activate dad mode.

"Can you blame me!? Rise Kujikawa in a swimsuit is something that I need!"

"There are far more better things to throw your money at than on some stupid pillow that is going to get dirty either way."

"Oh, yeah? Like what?"

"How about buying some more pants so you won't ruin the ones for school."

The brown eyes of Ryuji widened as he looked down to see the point Ren was making. He still insisted on wearing the square patterned pants that were reserved for the academy. Even though it was a bad idea to wear them on more casual gatherings.

"Get off my back man."

"I don't think I will."

"Geez, since when were you my dad!?"

"Since I became the official leader of this team."

An amused, ear pleasing chuckle was heard from Ryuji's left. "Well, Ren, I sure didn't expect to see this side of you."

The two young men turned to face the amused man, whose arm was propped up for his tilted head to be placed on, sending them a smirk that further expressed his amusement.

"Well I am a leader, dad. I can't let my team get full of themselves or else they'll get in trouble. Then again, I must've gotten it from you."

Aphrodite felt pride swell within his heart and soul. He and Cereza have done a splendid job in maturing and disciplining Ren to be a competent leader for his team.

A shame that her 'work' had prevented her from seeing the fruits of her labor unfold.

"Hold on, he's your dad!?"

Ryuji reminded the, supposedly, father and son of his presence. He didn't speak a single word as he was instantly hypnotized by the man's feminine beauty.

The rambunctious blonde was in utter disbelief that he was staring at someone that could only exist in a portrait painting that would be showcased in a museum.

Fortunately, he regained control over his body once his ears heard Ren addressing the beautiful man as his 'dad.'

"Guess the jig is up now." Ren muttered as his slightly annoyed gaze was aimed at the floor.

"Dad, this right here is Ryuji Sakamoto, the very first friend I made on my first day of school." The son of Aphrodite graciously introduced his friend to his father.

"On your first day of school? That's a bit shocking considering how the world sees you now."

Aphrodite had to be very discreet or subtle in mentioning his son's criminal record. If he got too careless with that topic, then it would completely annihilate the relaxing atmosphere of his son's safe haven.

The world has already treated Ren as if he were a mere bug. It was forbidden for his mistreatment to get worse from there.

"So you know about Ren's-"

Before Ryuji could brazenly expose the aforementioned criminal record in public, Aphrodite cut him off.

"Yes, and I know he is innocent."

Ryuji felt surprised by the tone of the father's statement: it was firm and certain. He truly believed that his own son would never be a heartless bastard that would bring senseless harm onto another person.

For all he knew, he would probably go as far as to fight the world in order to prove it.

The heart of the rambunctious blonde felt a sharp ping of envy once he realized that his leader had a far more better father compared to his own…

He immediately shook off the feelings of envy that were starting to cloud his mind. He was not going to hold any resentment towards his best friend and leader just because he had a better childhood.

Instead, he should feel glad that Ren was blessed with a good father.

No matter how he himself begged for one back then.

A/N: Ren playing the dad for the Phantom Thieves is canon and I will fight all of you sons of bitches that say otherwise.

Also, Ryuji would 100% be the type to buy a body pillow. I mean, come on, he called for a maid in a rented apartment, despite violating an obvious law.

Not to mention that he suggested that the Phantom boys should ditch Ann and Makoto for some random girls, that are lower than mid, before they went to a fireworks festival.

And the time they paid a visit to a maid café with the most obnoxious music that I ever had the misfortune of hearing.

(If this evidence doesn't convince any of you that Ryuji would buy a body pillow, then I will drag you all to hell to meet Osama Bin Laden… you have been warned)

Discussing Ryuji's perversion, it is upsetting what he and his mother had to go through: a drunk and abusive father that left them to fend for themselves, and a bastard of a gym teacher that painted him as the bad guy.

Do not worry, I will give him, alongside the rest of the Phantom Thieves, the father he so desperately needed in his life: Aphrodite.

And that chapter will come out soon;)
